Considering all the times I’ve said that Nicole Trunfio is pretty much my perfect woman, you’d think that the Australian model would be my future ex-wife by now, or at least a Twitter girlfriend. But love works in mysterious ways I guess. Anyway, I think I might need to move on soon, because Nicole’s so good looking that it’s starting to become bad for my health. Pass Your Partner… New Atlanta Based Reality Show Reveals Couples Who Get It Popping By Swapping!!! [Video]

Freaks ! There’s a new TV show shining the spotlight on some unconventional practices going on in Atlanta… Via MailOnline reports : A new reality show will follow five ‘average, all-American’ couples as they juggle marriages, careers and daily life with swinging. Couples that star in Secret Sex Lives: Swingers are professionals and parents in committed relationships living in Atlanta, Southern town in the heart of the Bible belt with a lively swinger’s scene’, and are in committed relationships. The Discovery Fit & Health show will provide an in-depth look into the nuances of how they navigate swinger relationships and psychology – and also give audiences a voyeuristic look into their lifestyle. ‘The biggest misconception about the swinger lifestyle is that we’re hooking up with people day and night, or that I’m a stripper or something,’ says Jaymee, a senior account executive who has been swinging for three years with her lawyer husband Chris. He agrees that setting ground rules is crucial. ‘I’m not like Tiger Woods, picking up chicks behind Jaymee’s back and hooking up with them.’ Jaymee says that she gave birth six weeks ago to the couple’s first child. ‘When I found out I was pregnant my first thought was “thank God I haven’t hooked up with any other guys lately, so it’s definitely Everett’s baby.”‘ The show also follows Rebecca and her consultant husband Chris on a double date with a new couple. In many ways the nervousness mirrors the awkwardness of a normal first date, which is why Rebecca explains that she has a ‘safety word’. ‘If I’m having a good time, I say yes when he asks if I want to order dessert,’ she explains. At a dinner party across town, swimwear designer Hali and her husband Bryan explain the swinger lingo to newcomers Jayson and Heidy, who have expressed interest in the lifestyle. For example when swinging, couples must decide if they will allow ‘Full Swap’, which is full no-holds-barred sex, or stop at a ‘Soft Swap’, which usually does not include intercourse. To find a swap partner, couples also try to avoid the more ‘Vanilla’ monogamous duos, with the help of a ‘Cruise Director’ – a person in charge of the action at a swinger’s party. If they get really lucky, they may meet a ‘Unicorn’ – a single woman who sleeps with couples – but Bryan explains that ‘everyone is looking for this girl, but no one has ever met her’. Initially, Heidy seems reluctant. But on an evening out with the other couples, it’s Jayson who gets jealous after he finds Heidy talking to another man in the bedroom. Many signs of a swinger seem fairly obvious, such as: ‘Couples who are openly flirting with other couples.’ But other things to watch out for, like a ‘pineapple placed upside down in a shopping cart’ or ‘pampas grass in the front yard garden,’ seem more like urban myths. Swingers can also apparently be identified by the outside of their homes. According to Discovery’s website, pink and purple decorations in the yard or white landscaping rocks are both signs of alternative sexuality. So is body jewelry: Thumb rings, toe rings, waist chains and a woman moving her wedding ring to her right hand are all signs of a swinger – as are yin-yang tattooAccording to Swinger Social Network, swingers account for two- to- four per cent of married couples, or an excess of two million people in North America. Do you think you would EVER be okay sharing your partner? Continue reading

Kate Middleton Post-Baby Body Media Coverage: Disrespectful to Women?

Is the media coverage of Kate Middleton’s post-pregnancy body, which became THE topic right after she gave birth to the Royal Baby , disrespectful to women? Since the moment she and Prince William presented Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge to the world, her figure became a talking point. Reactions to her appearance ranged from positive to negative to just plain curious. “Why Does Kate Middleton Still Have Her Baby Bump?” screamed one headline. “Kate Middleton’s royal baby post-bump is a boost of confidence for mums everywhere,” another said. “How can she look so pretty just after giving birth?” One fashion blogger wrote “in all honesty, the dress was not pleasing to the eye, neither was the stomach. I hope she gets her post-maternity bod soon.” Scores of Middleton-related search terms clogged the web, such as “diet,” “post baby bump,” “belly,” “stomach,” and “why does Kate Middleton still look pregnant.” Kate remains wildly popular, but could the whole thing signal that society’s obsession with her looks puts unrealistic stress on mothers and women? “The media’s neuroticism over Kate’s post-pregnant looks is brainwashing women,” human behavior expert Patrick Wanis told Fox News. How? He says that the intense coverage implies all women will be “judged and criticized unless they meet the new standard – unattainable perfection.” “The obsession with the perfect female body is spiraling out of control.” The same DAY she gave birth, a weight loss tabloid cover from OK! sparked outcry thanks to its “Kate’s Post-Baby Weight Loss Regime” headline. As for the medical reason her “bump” is still showing, experts say it takes around 10 days for a woman’s womb to contract back to its normal size. Many praised Kate for her “bravery” in challenging one of the taboos of pregnancy – the post-partum belly – and for not recoiling from the spotlight. Basically, she’s not image-obsessed and doesn’t care what people say, and certainly isn’t holding out for a huge tabloid photo spread a la Kim Kardashian . Just the same, when it comes to the media, critics say it’s all too much. “The focus should be on how she feels as a mother and the love and nurturing she will express as well as the bond between her and her newborn,” Wanis said. “Rather than whether or not she still looks hot. And hot for whom?”

Racist Or Nah? IT Worker Fired From His Job For “Unknowingly” Offering Muslim Co-Worker A Bacon Sandwich

IT Worker Fired From His Job For Offering Muslim Co-Worker A Bacon Sandwich An IT worker from Manchester, England says he was just joking when he offered bacon sandwiches to his co-workers during a meeting where one of the attendees present was Muslim, but his employer wasn’t convinced and he ended up jobless. via AOL Jobs Clive Hunt, a 58-year old IT consultant in Manchester, England, confronted this question head on earlier this month, when he offered to pick up “bacon sandwiches” during a meeting with a new client. That reportedly offended a Muslim co-worker – and soon after, Hunt says he was told he lost the job. According to a report in the Manchester Evening News, Hunt says a manager told him the decision was made because of his “racist remark.” Hunt says he was in a meeting at a Manchester office of the Reed recruitment company to discuss an eight-month contract worth £32,000 (or $50,000) to work with the British National Health Service (NHS). And during the meeting, Hunt offered to pick up “bacon sandwiches,” which as the Examiner points out, is “standard English breakfast fare.” He didn’t know that a colleague in the meeting, Sharika Sacranie, 29, was an observant Muslim, forbidden from eating pig products. Hunt says he didn’t intend to offend anyone. “I’d never met [Sacranie] before,” he told the Daily Mail, adding “we got on fine.” But after the meeting, Hunt says he received the call telling him his services were no longer needed due to his “racist” remark — an allegation Hunt disputes. “There was no slur at her because I’d already met all the contractors on site before and one of them had actually told me they had really good bacon sandwiches.” Hmmmm. This could have very well been a joke, but given all the other racist ish happening as of late, we can’t be sure. What do you think Bossip fam? Continue reading

Obesity Now Defined as Disease By American Medical Association

The American Medical Association formally voted earlier this week to classify obesity as a disease, one that 35 percent of U.S. adults reportedly have. The classification is aimed in part to get doctors to tackle obesity as if they were treating a disease, rather than a mere lifestyle in need of modification. Dr. Patrice Harris of the AMA said in a statement: “Recognizing obesity as a disease will help change the way the medical community tackles a complex issue that affects approximately one in three Americans.” “The AMA is committed to improving health and working to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes, which are often linked to obesity.” Obesity is defined as a body mass index (BMI) – a ratio of height over weight – of 30 or higher. People are considered normal weight with a BMI of 18.5-24.9. While obesity may not have formally been considered a disease before, it has certainly been linked to diseases by growing bodies of research. Studies have linked obesity to risk increases for heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, stroke, liver disease, sleep apnea, breathing problems, and osteoarthritis. Moreover, experts believe it can lead to joint pain, infertility, sexual side effects and cancers of the breast, colon, esophagus, pancreas and kidneys. The 2013 “Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer” found significant rises in obesity-related cancers over the past three decades. Heart disease in particular is the leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women, doctors say. On and on the studies go. Obesity’s new disease classification may also make more Americans realize what inactivity and non- healthy recipes could be doing to their health. A January 2013 survey showed that as many as 70 percent of Americans know heart disease and diabetes are health risks tied to obesity. However, only 7 percent of respondents knew cancer was a risk and 5 percent knew asthma and sleep apnea could be helped by shedding pounds. The new disease classification could also have an impact on legislation in D.C. and with insurance companies, regarding procedures and medications. What do you think: Should obesity be considered a disease?   Yes, and it should be treated like one! No! People need to take responsibility for their lifestyles! View Poll »

For The Ladies: Joe ‘The Fine Azz Werewolf From True Blood’ Manganiello Flexes His Shredded Abs For Men’s Health Magazine

For the ladies… True Blood’s hunky werewolf, Joe Manganiello , covers the July/August issue of Men’s Health, available for download, June 17th. Manganiello opens up about his real-life superhero moment, getting that famous werewolf body and how losing everything made his success even better. Highlights from the interview via Men’s Health : On his career rock bottom : “About 6 months after the shoot ended {for Spiderman}, I got thrown out of my apartment for not paying rent,” he says. “Lost my car. Lost all my clothes. Furniture. The sheriff gave me 5 minutes to collect my things in a duffle bag and leave the apartment.” On why he won’t be like his Hollywood heroes: “My heroes back in drama school were the hard-drinking guys—both actors and rock stars,” Manganiello says. “But that’s not who I was meant to be. I wasn’t meant to get away with stuff. It was the universe’s way of telling me, ‘You’re not allowed to do this half-a$$ed.’ ” On his real-life superhero moment: “A friend of mine and I were moving a refrigerator, and it fell down the stairs. I caught it—in the air—and put it down.” On where he spent his True Blood earnings: “All the money I was paid as a guest star that year—which was not a lot, after I’d paid out my expenses—I spent on training,” he says. “I netted zero. I lived off my savings, hoping my car didn’t break down. I just put everything into seeing what I could actually do. I think that was the shift.” On what he thinks the physique of an alpha dog should look like: “I’m playing a werewolf,” he says. “I want to look sinewy. I want to look like an animal when the shirt comes off, but I want it to be a bit misleading when I have the shirt on.” On training to be True Blood’s Alcide Herveaux: “It was very fast-paced, no rest between sets, getting the heart rate up,” he says, as opposed to what he’d been doing before: “Lift heavy, hang out, get back under it.” By the time the shirt came off, he was down to 220. Although he didn’t test his body fat before or after, he figures he lost more than 20 pounds of fat while gaining a few pounds of muscle. On how diet contributes to his training: “I don’t think I’ve ever counted calories in my life,” he says as he digs into the steak. “I have no idea. I eat to build. If it doesn’t build something, it’s superfluous.” We’re happy to see Joe striving after such struggle! Check out more hot shots of him below: Photo Credit: Emily Shur Continue reading
