According to TMZ , if Kingston was speeding when he wrecked out on his jet ski, he did so in a Manatee area. And that’s something the State of Florida takes very seriously. Sean Kingston ain’t in the clear yet after crashing a high-speed jet ski into a Miami bridge — TMZ has learned the singer could still face legal repercussions … for disturbing the local manatees. Law enforcement sources tell us … the area where Kingston crashed last weekend is a manatee zone — and according to Florida state law, boats and watercrafts are prohibited from producing a wake in manatee-populated areas. Based on the jet ski damage … Kingston probably produced a wake before his accident — but law enforcement is still investigating to figure out exactly what happened prior to the crash. If Kingston IS found in violation of the manatee law — he faces a maximum fine of $32,500. Wow. 32 Gs though? Florida is out of control.

As we told you yesterday, some Canadian promoter set Game up to fail , by having him fly to Canada only to be detained for violating immigration laws. According to TMZ , the promoter may not have been as janky as we thought. Canadian immigrations on the other hand… A rep for Substance Entertainment Group — the promotion company behind Game’s tour in Canada — tells TMZ, the tour promoter got a call from Canadian Customs while Game was on the plane on his way to Canada. We’re told customs informed the promoter that Game would be denied entry “due to new information received that Game is affiliated with organized crime and is an active member of the Bloods street gang.” The rep claims Game was blindsided by the last-minute red flag — telling us, concert organizers had secured all permits and approval weeks ago to get Game into the country. “New information?” GTFOHWTBS. TMZ’s sources say Game’s been deported back to the States. But since he hasn’t gone back to Twitter yet, we’re gonna guess he’s still behind bars, on day two of that 14 day hold , eh?

LAWRENCE, Mass. — A woman who withheld potentially life-saving medications from her autistic, cancer-stricken son was sentenced Friday to eight to 10 years in prison by a judge who said her actions “really do chill one’s soul.” Kristen LaBrie was convicted of attempted murder Tuesday for withholding at least five months of at-home chemotherapy treatments for her son, Jeremy Fraser. The boy died at age 9 in 2009. LaBrie, 38, wept and apologized before Judge Richard Welch handed down her punishment in Lawrence Superior Court. “I am remorseful for my actions and I wish I could have done things differently,” LaBrie told the judge in a courtroom packed with sobbing family members and friends of both LaBrie and the boy’s father, Eric Fraser. “If I could do it differently, I would, because I certainly miss my son, and I think about him every day and I wish he could be with me and my family,” she said. Jeremy Fraser was severely autistic, nonverbal and developmentally delayed. He was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma shortly after he turned 7 in 2006. His oncologist testified that she told LaBrie that her son’s cancer had a cure rate of about 85 percent to 90 percent under an intensive, two-year treatment plan that included doses of chemotherapy to be given during hospital stays and clinic visits as well as at-home medications LaBrie was supposed to administer at home. LaBrie testified that she largely followed doctor’s orders during the first four phases of his treatment. But she acknowledged that she stopped giving him the at-home medications during the final phase of treatment because she could not bear to see how much pain and suffering the side effects of the medication caused him. Many of LaBrie’s family attempted to plead with the judge to be lenient on her: LaBrie’s older son, Matthew, 18, wrote a letter to the judge asking for leniency. “My mother was nothing but unbelievably kind, caring and completely devoted to Jeremy in every aspect of her life,” he wrote. He described his mother sitting by Jeremy’s bedside while he was treated for cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital. “Something like that takes a toll on a person and after all that, could anybody so easily sit by and watch while a cure is making a child feel worse?” Jeremy’s uncle, Andrew Fraser, spoke to the judge before sentencing, saying he wanted to represent Jeremy and Jeremy’s father, Eric, who was killed in a motorcycle accident seven months after Jeremy died. Andrew Fraser said his brother would have asked for a “fair and just” punishment for LaBrie, despite the contentious relationship they had. On Tuesday night, Marsha Ambrosius hosted a party in Atlanta celebrating the awesome specimen of man meatiness that is Q Parker on his birthday. It was a very well attended event, with some of the biggest names in Atlanta’s entertainment community in attendance, as you can see in the photos on page 2. That was a great bonus for the audience members, since Q chose to share the spolight, inviting several guests on stage to serenade the crowd. With all of Jagged Edge was present, Q also extended the invitation to them – which would have been a good look, since they are promoting an album or mixtape or something at the moment. That’s a pretty big growing operation considering that they were in New York. The NYPD helped seize $10 million worth of pot plants from upstate hydroponic farms and arrest more than a dozen people. A strike force of federal agents, city cops and Sullivan County police swooped down on five homes two hours north of Manhattan. Officials said the ring distributed the pot mostly in New York City, but dealt as far away as Philadelphia. Each plant produced a pound of pot worth anywhere from $600 to $1,200 on the street. Sixteen people, including 14 undocumented immigrants from South America, were arrested on federal drug charges during the sweep by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Strike Force. The suspects were awaiting arraignment in U.S. District Court in White Plains on Wednesday. Authorities were tipped off while a detective from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and Drug Enforcement Administration agents were checking out suspected drug locations. They investigated a car parked outside one of the locations – and immediately smelled marijuana. “The odor was pungent,” said a law enforcement source. “It was so strong there was no mistake.” After interviewing the men inside the car, agents armed with federal search warrants hit five locations in Mamakating, Lumberland and Highland townships. The nutcases who like to picket soldiers funerals are threatening to protest at Elizabeth Taylor’s service because of her work with HIV/AIDS and gay rights groups. The anti-gay fundamentalist Westboro Baptist Church said on Wednesday that it plans on picketing Elizabeth Taylor’s funeral. Margie Phelps, daughter of church leader Fred Phelps, tweeted the picket plan and referred to Taylor as a “serial-adulterous fag hag.” The apparently very Internet-savvy Phelps also tweeted, “No RIP Elizabeth Taylor who spent her life in adultery and enabling proud f-gs. They cuss her in hell today. #Westboro will picket funeral!” Westboro has made funeral picketing threats before — in the case of both Heath Ledger and Natasha Richardson — but thankfully failed to show in either case.
