Chicago Bears star Brandon Marshall tweeted a photo of himself in the locker room this week … unaware, apparently, that a teammate was naked behind him. Marshall had just received a package from the University of Central Florida, his alma mater, and proudly posted a photo of himself in shirt the school sent. Just one problem … The inadvertent full-moon photobomb received wide distribution on the Internet, and Marshall quickly realized his mistake, deleting the photo and tweeting: “Sorry about my guy in the back getting dressed in that photo.” Apology amusingly accepted, Brandon.

WARNING: The following video is graphic and shocking in nature. Shot aboard a Baltimore bus, it depicts a female driver positively pummeling a high school student she later says was being “disrespectful.” Sources tell TMZ the driver hit first and the incident started because the student was playing her music very loudly. The employee has reportedly worked for the city since 2003 and has been placed on a leave of absence following this outbreak. To which one can only respond: we sincerely hope so! Life Expectancy Of “Least Educated Whites” Drops Significantly While life expectancy for black people are on the rise, the opposite is now the reality for “least educated whites”… Via NYTimes: For generations of Americans, it was a given that children would live longer than their parents. But there is now mounting evidence that this enduring trend has reversed itself for the country’s least-educated whites, an increasingly troubled group whose life expectancy has fallen by four years since 1990. Researchers have long documented that the most educated Americans were making the biggest gains in life expectancy, but now they say mortality data show that life spans for some of the least educated Americans are actually contracting. Four studies in recent years identified modest declines, but a new one that looks separately at Americans lacking a high school diploma found disturbingly sharp drops in life expectancy for whites in this group. Experts not involved in the new research said its findings were persuasive. The reasons for the decline remain unclear, but researchers offered possible explanations, including a spike in prescription drug overdoses among young whites, higher rates of smoking among less educated white women, rising obesity, and a steady increase in the number of the least educated Americans who lack health insurance. The steepest declines were for white women without a high school diploma, who lost five years of life between 1990 and 2008, said S. Jay Olshansky, a public health professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the lead investigator on the study, published last month in Health Affairs. By 2008, life expectancy for black women without a high school diploma had surpassed that of white women of the same education level, the study found. But blacks over all do not live as long as whites, while Hispanics live longer than both whites and blacks. Discuss…
Fair warning: Depending on your opinion of Aubrey Plaza , you’re either going to find this trailer incredibly endearing or impossibly irritating. Skin Central, as it turns out, finds her adorable, and so we’re pretty into this red-band trailer for Aubrey’s new movie The To Do List (2013), about a young woman who makes a list of all the sex acts she’d like to try (get it? “The to DO List?”). The only creepy part? Aubrey’s playing a high school senior trying to accomplish all this before she goes off to college, but hey– high school kids are usually 18 by the time they graduate, right? Some of ’em, anyway? (For the record, Aubrey is 28 in real life). There’s no nudity in this trailer (just a lot of dirty talk), and The To Do List doesn’t hit theaters until February 14, 2013 , but you can get an eyeful of Aubrey’s Parks and Recreation co-stars Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler right here at MrSkin.com!
“Even though the media exhibit enormous sophistication and historical perspective in a thousand different ways — not that I can think of a specific example right now — they are far too often bedazzled by the sheer novelty of a story. If you watch cable news, for example, you know all too well that if there are two child kidnappings in the same month, the first one gets far more attention than the second. This same law applies to box-office bombs. With Battleship , the fascination with Hollywood flop sweat had already worn off. When I asked a veteran showbiz reporter why his publication had spent so little time covering the demise of Battleship , he joked: ‘I guess we all had the same reaction — didn’t we just write that story already?'” [LAT]
