Maybe the Throne should watch Weezy. Even though Drake’s album just dropped and people are out copping it in waves, they’re still also buying Weezy’s Carter IV . It looks like that whole tight jeggings thing he did at the VMAs before dropping the album finally paid off. Weezy still stands head and shoulders above any other rap release and looks to be the top selling album of 2011. This has actually been a stellar year overall for Weezy and Young Money. Nicki’s album is still selling. Drake’s sophomore album is topping the charts and they just added Busta Rhymes to the fold. It looks like 2012 will be just as hot. YMCMB is winning, whether we like it or not.
