Move along, people! There’s nothing to see at Lil Wayne’s house! No matter what previous reports indicated. Earlier today, word spread online that four people had been shot at the rapper’s residence in Florida. The artist was not at home at the time of the alleged incident, during which police set up a perimeter just to be safe. But it turned out that no intruders were present either. It was all a hoax. Tweeted the Miami Beach Police Department in response to the  “MBPD handles all calls of this nature in a serious manner . In this case it appears to have be a hoax @ #LiLWaynes home . #Swatting.” Ah, yes, swatting. This trend – of idiots calling 911 and pretending as if a crime is being committed at a famous person’s house – was all the rage in 2013. Khloe Kardashian was swatted . Ryan Seacrest, Justin Timberlake… heck, the White House ! All were swatted at one time or another. “#UPDATE unfortunately this appears to be a “Swatting” call. No victims /no injuries /no subject at 94 LaGorce,” added the Miami police Twitter account. Suge Knight: Out of Hospital, Back in Prison

Finally, some good news for Suge Knight…kinda. It was reported yesterday that Knight was handcuffed to a hospital bed and the situation looked grim for the 49-year-old hip hop mogul. Knight was rushed to the emergency room moments after pleading not guilty to the hit-and-run murder of Terry Carter. On his arrival, he was found to be suffering from potentially deadly blood clots.  The clotting was apparently the result of Knight being shot six times back in August. (Suge’s really had quite the year.) It was the second time in three months that he’d been hospitalized due to clotting, and some insiders suggested that this time, Knight might not make it. But now, TMZ is reporting that Suge is out of the hospital…and back in the slammer. After being treated with blood thinners, the former Death Row Records CEO is reportedly well enough to be treated in the prison infirmary. You know your life has really hit the skids when going back to prison qualifies as “good news.” As for Suge’s legal woes, it’s not currently known when Knight’s murder trial will begin, but if he’s convicted he could spend the rest of his life in prison.  Say what you will about Suge, the man is certainly committed to the thug life.  Suge Knight: From Death Row to Near Death 1.
