The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 5 Recap: The Funeral

Losing someone close to you is never easy.  The death of Tyler Lockwood was definitely the focal point of The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 5 and it was heartbreaking.  We kicked things off with Matt calling all of his nearest and dearest to let them know their beloved friend had been murdered by Damon and that he was on his way home to lay him to rest.  Understandably, there was a flurry of emotions. Stefan struggled to find a medium between grieving for Tyler and being pissed off with his brother for causing this mess.  He understood that Sybil was causing the drama, but he still wanted to take his brother of the equation after seeing the effect the death of Tyler had on everyone.  There was something very off about the way Candice King was acting in this installment. Caroline never really grieved Tyler’s passing. Maybe the actress was not impressed that she wasn’t getting a scene to show just how much her former love meant to her at one point in her life.  Instead, all she could muster was that she couldn’t remember the last time she spoke to him. This shows how irrelevant he became to her, but I’m totally not buying it.  View Slideshow: 15 TV Couples We Wish Were Real Things got worse as the gang tried to lay Tyler to rest when Damon showed up at the cemetery and showed them all four graves. He had dug up one for each of them, before threatening to murder Matt.  As you probably know if you watch The Vampire Diaries online , Matt is the only human in all of this, so Damon probably wanted to bring him in line with his peers.  This side of Damon has been done to death on this show and it’s only getting tiring. Stefan and Caroline put a lot of work in to capture Damon, so it was garbage to see Sybil release him from his doom.  Yes, you guys, Sybil made her getaway from the armory and she has the mysterious artifact that gives her migraines. You can thank Alaric for giving the artifact to his intern. Geez, didn’t he understand that it was the only way to save everyone from her? Sybil made it clear to Damon that they have a whole lot of work to do, so we’ll no doubt see the pair go back to being annoying soon enough.  View Slideshow: 24 Shocking TV Deaths Seline continued to manipulate the kids to use their magic. This week, it involved them doing some sort of ritual on Georgie’s remains to basically bring the devil to Mystic Falls.  The only reason Caroline and Alaric figured out something was wrong was because Tyler had left Matt pictures of Seline because he was doing some research into her.  When Caroline and Alaric got home after a party honoring Elena and Tyler, their girls were long gone and just a drawing of the two girls playing happy families with Cade and Seline remained.  Interesting, but haven’t we already had the whole Gemini Coven storyline before with the twins being used for power? Talk about recycling plots.  Elsewhere, Bonnie finally managed to find a way to save Enzo from himself. After a pep talk from Caroline, she set the house on fire and his humanity returned.  That was easy.  What do you think of all the developments? Sound off below! Amber Portwood STILL Wants to Fight Farrah Abraham?!

At this point in time, it’s beyond clear that Amber Portwood is not all that fond of Farrah Abraham. Who is, right? But Amber in particular has a bone to pick with her Teen Mom OG costar, and she proved it when she tried to beat her down during that reunion show. There’s always been tension between Farrah and the rest of the moms , but things came to a head when Farrah commented that Amber’s fiance, Matt Baier, looks like a pedophile. A source in the audience claimed that after that, “Amber stormed onstage and started yelling at Farrah.” “Farrah was yelling at Amber to punch her,” the source says, and “Amber tried but just missed hitting Farrah.” Amber must have been real fired up, because she’s done a lot of work over the years to try to get her anger issues under control. Remember when she used to go off on her then-boyfriend, Gary Shirley, and hit him on national television? Girl’s come a long way since then , but it seems like there’s just something about Farrah that brings that old rage back. And judging by this saucy little Twitter rant that Amber went on about Farrah, she’s still pretty damn mad. Things started when someone tagged Farrah, Amber, and Farrah’s sometimes boyfriend, Simon Saran, in a tweet that praised Farrah. “Farrah has multiple jobs and money,” the person wrote. “She’s set for life. Amber just sits her life away.” Amber took great offense to the comment, and replied with “I guess if you don’t boast about making a mill. dollars you’re just sitting around huh.” “What multiple jobs?” she added. “Her 2 restaurants that failed as well as losing $ on the house she flipped.” Another follower told her “I mean I like you but you’re no better than any other person.” Amber, however, disagreed. “I am 100% better than a person like her,” she claimed. “All day every day. Love.” “Never said I was better than anyone else,” she told another follower. “I’m humble. But I am better than her.” And after all that sass, she deleted every single one of those tweets. “I just can’t respond to negative things anymore,” she wrote. “I always feel horrible in the end.” “Considering to just delete my Twitter.” She didn’t though, of course. She just went right back to her continuous stream of animal pictures and messages of love. Sunrise, sunset. It really seems that Amber would feel better if she just left all this useless, stupid drama alone. She’d certainly look better. The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 3 Recap: Plan B

Will the residents of Mystic Falls ever find happiness? That was a key question on The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 3 when Sybil put a plan in motion to get Damon and Enzo away from the ladies in their lives.  We kicked things off with Sybil changing the memory of the car crash that killed Elena’s parents. It was a heartbreaking scene, that signaled the return of Liz Forbes.  Sybil made Damon think Elena died in the car crash, but Damon didn’t care because Sybil had already wiped her from existence in his memory.  Sybil then tried to get Enzo to switch off his humanity, but she quickly realized she would need to take Bonnie out of the equation if she had any hope of taking the two men on as her soldiers.  Caroline and Bonnie were in a bridal store, trying to find dresses for the wedding, but Damon showed up and ruined the fun. Caroline managed to overpower him, and they made their escape.  The two friends hit up the Salvatore mansion, but Stefan had already removed the weapons so the house was not full of hazards for the kids.  Stefan was busy working with Alaric to try and find a way to take Sybil down, but things were pretty awkward between them.  Stefan got a phone call to go meet Damon, but he was scared Damon was going to try trick him into something.  When they met up, Damon asked Stefan to help him, but he couldn’t reveal what the plan was. When he opened his trunk, Enzo was unconscious.  View Slideshow: 17 Television Characters Who Have Served Their Country Sybil showed up at the Salvatore mansion and told Caroline and Bonnie that Damon would be fighting to the death with Enzo and the winner would be her soldier.  Sybil was being surprisingly civil with the two ladies. It seemed like the two of them were going to die, but Sybil let them in on the plan. They set off for the fight, but Bonnie got sick of Sybil and put her through the windscreen of the car.  When they got to the fight, Sybil arrived and told the two men to stop fighting, before turning Enzo’s humanity switch off. She then gave Bonnie a head start to run off before Damon caught her.  Alaric stepped in with the pitchfork and hit it. It made Sybil fall to the ground and the team swooped in to kidnap her. They succeeded, but she could still contact Damon from the armory.  Damon then set off to cause a world of destruction. He went for Tyler Lockwood and actually murdered him. You guys, Damon is completely freaking crazy.  There’s really no turning back from what he’s done now and even Alaric thinks that saving him is a lost cause. Sybil may be captured, but she still has a whole lot of control.  View Slideshow: 24 Shocking TV Deaths Bonnie is now faced with the tough task of trying to get Enzo back to being good, but will she really manage to save him? The Bachelor Premiere Date: Revealed!!

Nick Viall is ready to kick off 2017 right, and right quick.  The thrice unlucky-in-love franchise mainstay is set to make his debut as The Bachelor, and ABC has just released its premiere date … A perfect cure for your hangover, the Wisconsinite will dole out roses at the mansion beginning with a two-hour episode Monday, January 2. New year, new Bachelor. Same … Nick Viall? One can only hope his fortunes will change this time around, having been dumped by Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe on The Bachelorette . Yes, Nick made it all the way into the finale – and the pants of the aforementioned brunettes – of two different seasons of the reality hit.  Only to be dispatched on both. That’s some cold s–t. The Bachelor Promo: Hello, Nick Viall! He also made a run at love on Bachelor in Paradise , only to lose his girl to Josh Murray (Andi’s final rose winner) a second time. Cruel. Now the roses are in his hands, though! Literally. According to an ABC release announcing the premiere, Nick is “back stronger than ever, ready and eager to begin his search for true love.” “After all these years, and all the heartbreak, it’s finally Nick’s turn to hand out the roses. Will he finally find that love he’s craved?” “He believes in finding love on the series.” Clearly. Fourth time’s the charm! Fans were stunned when ABC named Nick Viall The Bachelor in August, as he seemed like a total mismatch to carry the 21st season. After all … haven’t we been there and done that? Especially with JoJo Fletcher suitors Luke Pell or Chase McNary waiting in the wings, few if anyone thought Nick would get the job. That includes Nick himself, to hear him describe it. Chris Harrison, who will of course be returning for a 21st season at the helm, says that at the end of the day, fans need to chill because: 1. The producers knows what they’re doing. 2. Nick is actually an awesome guy! “Look, the good news is it’s worked for him. He has fallen in love on this show and he has sincerely tried to make it work,” Chris said. “Unfortunately, he’s just come up a little bit short each time.” “He’s done his part, he will give himself to this process.” “He is that sincere guy who really does want to make this work,” the host said, adding that Viall was simply the best candidate. “Again, at the end of the day this wasn’t an indictment on Luke or Chase as much as it was more of a compliment to Nick.” You buying what Chris is selling? Last season, the show was #1 among women 18-34 in its time slot, and our guess is that the upcoming season will no different at the onset. The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 2 Recap: Who Got Engaged?!?

It sure seems like we’re in for a thrilling final season for The Vampire Diaries! On The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 2 , Bonnie, Stefan and Caroline tried their best to get Damon and Enzo back, but it failed miserably.  Let’s start with the HUGE opening scene. Damon walks into a bar and finds Sybil an evil person to eat. It’s sort of his sole purpose right about now, but I’m digging it. Sybil revealed she checked the internet and compelled her victim to drown in the water calmly, so he she would have a better experience of consuming him.  However, Damon had other ideas and revealed the best way to kill is when the victim knows what’s happening. To which Sybil then let the dude drown in pain. She’s all for keeping it classy.  Sybil was royally pissed that both Damon and Enzo were hiding stuff from her, so she went all-out in her quest to break Enzo’s spirit. The name Sarah Nelson popped up and that set us up for the big mission.  If you are sitting there wondering who the heck Sarah Nelson is, don’t fret. Her name was actually Sarah Salvatore, but Enzo forced her to change her identity in order to stay safe.  As you can probably expect, Enzo set out to murder two people named Sarah Nelson so that Stefan, Bonnie and Caroline could locate Sarah Salvatore before he, Damon and Sybil did. It was a good enough plan.  Enzo and Damon set off to “kill” Sarah, but she was quick to inject Damon with some vervain in order to make a swift escape, but Enzo managed to talk her round. He filled her in on all the crazy details and headed back to her apartment.  The troubling thing about all of it was that Bonnie, Stefan and Caroline were sitting pretty in the apartment. This floored Enzo, who did not expect to come face-to-face with Bonnie again.  View Slideshow: 14 Times Your Favorite TV Characters Embraced The Single Life Enzo revealed the details of the hold Sybil had over him, but she persisted to have him return home. This resulted in her knocking him out and driving in the opposite direction.  However, Enzo woke up and was less than impressed with Sybil’s siren calling him back. This forced Bonnie to turn around and let her go, but she botched the mission to save Sarah.  Damon showed up and tried to murder Sarah, but Stefan managed to talk him round when he said she was a member of their family. With the three of them coming to a small agreement to get Sarah the heck out of town, Sybil showed up.  As you can probably guess, she was all too happy to stick the knife right into Sarah’s stomach. With Sarah bleeding out, Sybil managed to intercept Damon’s memories and replaced all the memories of Elena with herself.  Pretty smart. Right?! Fans of the show will no doubt be super annoyed, but Damon is now well and truly in cahoots with Sybil. Poor Sarah bled out on the spot and died. Damon and Sybil exited the scene with a smirk on each of their faces.  Later, Sybil and Damon ambushed Enzo and we got a glimpse of Enzo getting some smooches from Bonnie. It was pretty clear the next one on the hit list had become Bonbon. Caroline made her feelings clear to Bonnie about ruining the mission. If you think about it, Bonnie was the one to blame for Sarah’s death. Bonnie was all too happy to reveal that her life was in pieces since losing Enzo.  She noted that Caroline had her kids and Stefan. She had a point. This forced Caroline to reveal she will help save Enzo, no matter how long it takes. It’s probably going to take another 14 episodes because that’s how many episodes are left.  Stefan was cut up about losing his last living relative, but he lightened the mood by proposing to Caroline and she totally said YES. The writers are being very nice to Steroline at the moment, but I see that changing very soon.  In other events, Ric and his intern who was hot for teacher bonded. She revealed that she went to hell once for killing her best friend and basically gave herself a PHD in all things hell.  She got wound up when she found the tattoo she had in the book, but the big twist came when she found an object that had been created in hell.  Yikes, we’re only on episode 2 and things are already getting crazy! James Packer Deemed "Mentally Unstable, Violent"

The basis for Mariah Carey’s split from fiance James Packer has changed quite dramatically since it was first reported. News of this engagement coming to an end first leaked out late on Wednesday night. Initially, reports cited Packer’s disdain for Carey’s excessive spending habits and love of the spotlight for the reason why he ended his relationship with the artist. But whether it was Carey’s PR team spreading rumors and allegations… or further investigative digging by various outlets… talk has now turned to an incident that took place in Greece. According to TMZ, the couple was on a vacation last month when something happened. That’s just about all the website has claimed thus far. But this situation involved Carey’s assistant and was traumatic enough that Carey left Packer soon afterward and returned to Los Angeles. A source says the two have not even had any contact since this mysterious confrontation went down. In a follow-up to its initial report, TMZ writes that Packer turned “violent” during this incident, with insiders describing Packer in a variety of disturbing ways. He’s “not in his right mind,” the celebrity gossip site says. Carey simply “had to leave him” because he hasn’t been “present for her” in months and, overall, Packer is “mentally unstable.” Yikes. We cannot verify these claims, but a source tells E! News pretty much the exact same thing. “James is not in a mentally healthy place right now and he has not been present for her,” this insider claims, adding: “Unfortunately, his absence and behavior was not a good situation for her, so she had to leave him.” It’s worth noting that a rep for Packer dismisses these charges as being “simply untrue.” Packer himself has rarely spoken to the press. He’s a private individual who made his cast fortune in the casino business and allegedly wanted no part in Mariah’s upcoming reality show. We know that he gave Carey an engagement ring valued at around $10 million, but we don’t know a lot more about their romance. Both sides kept pretty quiet about things. His behavior was not a desirable situation for Mariah so she unfortunately had to leave him,” yet another source tells People Magazine. That’s three typically reliable outlets, all reporting the same general thing about Packer. Because he’s unaccustomed to dealing with the press and because Carey is a seasoned veteran in this area, it may very well be an organized smear campaign on her part. Or there may be truth to the assertions over Packer’s mental state. According to a source close to the billionaire businessman, it’s “typical Mariah to just twist things that don’t sound good to her. They split because she has issues. “James is definitely an oddball, but a brilliant great guy. To put her issues on James is ridiculous.” Fans will need to choose the side they believe, but one thing seems certain: As Taylor Swift might say, these two are never getting back together. Like, EVER.

Pippa Middleton Wedding Date: REVEALED!

As previously reported,  Pippa Middleton is getting her famous butt in perfect shape for her wedding day. The sister of Kate Middleton rose to prominence after the world got a look at this derriere on the occasion of her sibling’s marriage to Prince William. So it makes sense that Pippa would want it looking as perfect as possible for her own nuptials. But rear end chatter aside, we now have an even more important update on Middleton’s impending marriage to James Matthews. According to a close friend of Pippa’s, the world’s most famous bridesmaid will become a bride in May of 2017. “Of course she is super excited and already planning everything,” this pal tells People Magazine, adding of Middleton and Matthews : “[They] have a lot in common – he’s charming and old-fashioned. Everyone thinks he’s quite the catch.” We’d hope and think so. Because Pippa is quite the catch herself! Matthews got down on one knee during a romantic trip to England’s Lake District and proposed to Middleton on July 17. He even designed the diamond ring himself, insiders have confirmed. “He would never have bought something off-the-peg for her, it had to be very special,” this same friend explains. The design is centered around an octagonal halo of sparking channel-set diamonds and is believe to be close to flawless; it is reportedly worth more than $250,000.  There’s been talk around the tabloid world that both Kate Middleton and Pippa Middleton are pregnant . But we don’t think we’re buying these cover stories, no matter how many times various supermarket magazines want to throw the rumor in our face. Those close to Pippa and Matthews describe the couple as “sporty” and say they are often seen coming and going out of the latter’s London home. They like to bicycle around London and/or walk Middleton’s dog. Earlier this fall, Middleton and Matthews were seen enjoying a low-key brunch at Little House, a members-only restaurant in London’s Mayfair. “They looked very happy and sweet, enjoying some breakfast together, just like any other couple,” says a fellow diner, who had no choice but to add: “The ring is enormous!
