Charlie Sheen is engaged! To his porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi! Before you make the obvious jokes or roll your eyes, he swears it’s different this time! The Anger Management star “could not be a happier man” after he proposed to Rossi Saturday on their Hawaiian getaway, his publicist Jeff Ballard said. This will be the fourth wedding for the 48-year-old Sheen, whose brief first marriage, to model Donna Peele, ended in an annulment in the 1990s. He is divorced from Denise Richards (2002-2006) and Brooke Mueller (2008-2011), with whom he has quite the history (and two children apiece). Sheen announced the news in the quirky fashion his millions of Twitter followers have come to expect, referring to Rossi by her nickname “Scottie.” He says the third time is the charm with Brett Rossi, with an acknowledgement (and explanation) that he was technically married to Donna Peele: “With all due respect to Donna – that maiden Klay-Vinn was annulled. Therefore, if “three” truly is a charm; The mashup/acronym of the real CS, (Charlie & Scottie) HAS to be; “Char-M-stee…” xox c&s” No date has been set for the wedding to Rossi, who spoke of the engagement in more conventional terms, confirming to E! News, “Yes! We are engaged! ” “I was not expecting it at all,” she said. “We had a beautiful Valentine’s Day and he proposed to me early this morning after we watched the sun rise.” “He even was a gentleman and got down on one knee.” “The ring is classic and beautiful, but I don’t have any photos to share just yet. In sad news from the world of television today, Sid Caesar, one of the groundbreaking sketch-comedy artists in the history of the medium, has died at age 91. His friend Larry King revealed Caesar’s passing on Twitter a little while ago. King writes, “Sorry to learn about the passing of Sid Caesar – a dear friend, a comic genius & an American classic – there will never be another one like him.” A New York-born nightclub performer, he helped to usher in the TV revolution with a 90-minute Saturday night variety program, Your Show of Shows . That was 1950 if you can believe that. The live TV broadcast became a hit that lasted four years and later morphed into Caesar’s Hour , from 1954-1957. His writing staff included Woody Allen, Neil Simon, Mel Brooks, and Larry Gelbart, but the real star of the show was Sid himself, and he worked at it. Caesar was prolific but had no interest in small talk. He once said the hardest part of the show was being himself and wishing the audience good evening. Welcome home. 2 Men Wrongly Convicted Of Murder Are Free After 22 Years Via CNN Two men behind bars for more than half their lives over a triple murder walked free this week after DNA evidence tore holes in their convictions. Antonio Yarbough and Sharrif Wilson were teenagers when prison doors clanked shut behind them. Now, in their late 30s, they can hardly believe they’re out. What does freedom feel like? “I’m still going through it right now,” Yarbough said Friday. “I haven’t slept yet. I’ve been up for two days now. I have no words for it right now.” After 22 years surrounded by sausage we know EXACTLY what kept him up for 2 days. Imagine more than two decades in a maximum security prison. Add to that the fact that you’re accused of killing your mother, your sister and your cousin. As if that’s not enough, you were the one who discovered their lifeless, bloodied bodies when you opened the door to your home one night. If it’s hard to imagine what that’s like, Yarbough will tell you. After years in Attica’s maximum security prison among New York’s toughest criminals, he left its high, gray walls behind him Thursday. “It was a nightmare,” Yarbough told CNN’s Piers Morgan in an exclusive interview. “Twenty-one years and seven months was more like 42 years and seven months, when you know you’re in prison for something you didn’t do.” To make matters worse, the shady azz cops convinced Wilson to snitch for a lighter sentence. Straight out of “First 48″ SMH Police also took in Wilson and questioned him separately from Yarbough. But he got similar treatment, he said. “I was scared, afraid; I was lied to, manipulated into believing that I was going to go home, if I do tell … what they said happened.” Wilson said. Faced with a life behind bars, the young boy cooperated for the promise of lighter treatment. The two were convicted in separate trials. Yarbough was sentenced to 75 years to life. Wilson got a lower sentence of nine years to life. It’s nice that they were able to be exonerated, but this Wilson guy is a real P.O.S. SMH You can read the rest of these guys’ amazing story HERE .
