Jennifer Lopez: I’d Marry Again!

She’s off American Idol . But not off the marriage bandwagon. Despite having struck out three times with husbands, Jennifer Lopez tells ABC News that she’d absolutely walk down the aisle again if the opportunity presented itself. “For me, the biggest dream is the fairy tale,” Lopez told ABC News’s Amy Robach.”I will never give up on that dream.” The most likely candidate to be husband number-four, of course, is J. Lo’s current boyfriend, Casper Smart. The 25-year old told the same network that he’s totally smitten with Lopez, but it wasn’t love at first sight. “I don’t think it was for either of us,” he says. “It was very natural how it happened. There was nothing before. No flirting, nothing before. Just natural. It just happened.” And what’s it like to work with one’s significant other? “Sometimes I tell her something – you know, give her notes,” says Smart, who is the main choreographer on Lopez’s tour. “Sometimes she gives me notes. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter whose position is what because she’s the boss.” Insert your obvious sexual joke here, readers.

Sam Claflin: Cast as Finnick in Catching Fire?

Has the most anticipated new role in Catching Fire finally been cast? Following chatter over pretty much every hunk in Hollywood – from Taylor Kitsch to Trevor Donovan to Armie Hammer – Variety reports that Lionsgate has gone with the somewhat surprising selection of Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair. The actor, recently seen opposite Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman , would come on board the sequel as an especially cocky, suave, sexy Tribute who interacts frequently with Katniss and Peeta. Meanwhile… with Amanda Plummer set as Wiress , Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee and Jena Malone as Johanna , the magazine also says Melissa Leo is the frontrunner to portray Mags, while Tony Shalhoub is being courted for the role of Beetee. Is Sam Claflin the right choice for Finnick?

Big Lebowski 2 Fake News Fools The News

It’s a big day for reputable news outlets to make a fool of themselves. First CNN announces that SCOTUS spiked Obamacare, now CBS Los Angeles is announcing a greenlight on a film — The Big Lebowski 2 — that anyone with an ounce of common sense knows is not real. Picking up on a story from SuperOfficialNews.com (which sources “The Ass Press”) CBS Los Angeles invites fans of The Big Lebowski to “lift up your white russian!” According to the post, Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, John Turturro, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Julianne Moore are allegedly on board for a Lebowski sequel called The Big Lebowski 2: The Dude Goes To Washington . The premise has it that the local bowling alley is being turned into a parking garage and only The Dude’s son (Jesse Eisenberg), as the world’s youngest Congressman, can help. No diss to SuperOfficialNews.com, whose other joke pieces include Pat Robertson announcing he is gay and Facebook announcing a for-pay “gold account” , but this one is so… not-really-all-that-funny that I guess one could be forgiven for thinking it is real. Nevermind that the Coen Brothers have basically disowned The Big Lebowski , repeatedly shrugging off its cultural importance at press events and refusing to involve themselves in the ever popular Lebowski Fests. If you recall, when the only news source more trusted than SuperOfficialNews — Tara Reid — mentioned she was doing a Lebowski sequel, the Coen Brothers publicly scoffed at her . The CBS Los Angeles piece has no byline, but I imagine the author might deflect with “new shit has come to light” or “lotta ins lotta outs, lotta what have yous.” If they raised their voice in defiance, a quieting “calmer than you are” might be the only retort. ‘Ides Of March’: The Reviews Are In!

Critics argue that script doesn’t match the talent level of the A-list cast in George Clooney’s political drama. By Kevin Sullivan Ryan Gosling in “Ides of March” Photo: Sony Pictures George Clooney returns to the director’s chair for the first time since 2008’s “Leather Heads” in one of the first big releases of Oscar season with “The Ides of March.” But then again, we might just be interested in Ryan Gosling’s third major role this year. Everything about “Ides of March,” from the critically lauded cast and director to the political story line seems to scream for awards season attention, but does it live up to high expectations? Critics can’t seem to agree, but the general consensus is that the script doesn’t meet the talent level of the cast, which is pretty fantastic all around. We’ve rounded up some of the reviews to give you a better idea of what to look for this weekend at the movie theater. The Story “Mr. Gosling’s consultant, Stephen Meyers, would seem to be a true believer. Speaking of his candidate, Gov. Mike Morris (Clooney), he tells a reporter, played by Marisa Tomei, ‘He’s the only one who’s going to make a difference in people’s lives.’ (At that point it’s hard to know if this is true, or if the movie thinks it’s true, since some of Morris’s positions — i.e. that we don’t need Arab oil any more — sound awfully fatuous.) And Steve’s boss, Paul Zara, the campaign manager played by Philip Seymour Hoffman, would seem to be cynicism incarnate. The problem is that the news the story brings may be perfectly accurate, but it isn’t particularly original, and it’s certainly not what we hunger for in these dispiriting, cynical times.” — Joe Morgenstern, The Wall Street Journal The Direction “Clooney has a keen eye for a good story. With this, his fourth turn as a director, he has chosen wisely. While perhaps not as nuanced as 2005’s ‘Good Night, and Good Luck,’ it’s more assured than 2008’s ‘Leatherheads’ and more accessible than 2002’s ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.’ It grows a little overheated but works particularly well as a morality tale about power and its tendency to corrupt absolutely.” — Cynthia Puig, USA Today The Screenplay “What is surprising, and disappointing, is that the plot borrows, not once but twice, from the hoariest tropes in the book of smug clich

DVD: Philip Seymour Hoffman Goes Directing in Jack Goes Boating

One of the best films of 2011 that’s not getting much love during this awards season (outside of the Independent Spirit Awards, which bestowed three nominations upon it) is Philip Seymour Hoffman’s directorial debut, Jack Goes Boating (out this week from Anchor Bay Entertainment). And while Mott Hupfel’s gorgeous cinematography — which turns wintry New York City into a gleaming bauble — looks great on Blu-Ray, the DVD itself comes up a little short in the special features department.

Knox County Sheriff David Barber said Maynard, a 13-year-old girl missing for days was found bound and gagged but alive in a basement Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, and authorities hoped Hoffman charged with kidnapping her might lead them to her mother, brother and another woman who disappeared with her.
