Kylie Jenner Shoots Down Lil Twist Dating Rumor

Kylie Jenner would like to interrupt your holiday weekend by making a very important point: She is NOT dating Lil Twist . The reality star was forced to take to Twitter after photos of her grabbing frozen yogurt with the rapper hit the Internet – and the blogosphere leaped to its next logical/romantic conclusion. “Media always making it seem like I’m dating everyone I’m seen with,” Kendall wrote online. “Makes no sense to me. Don’t listen to everything u see, people.” Jenner was, however, spotted alongside Jaden Smith at her father’s beach house on July 4th, as rumors of those two dating have been floating around for weeks now. We’re gonna go ahead and believe that one. Sorry, KJ.

Race Matters: Is This “Mahogany” Brand Father’s Day Card For Single Mothers Insulting To The Black Community?

Hallmark “Mahogany” Father’s Day Card For Mother’s Sparks Debate Yesterday, we came across a brief discussion that was sparked surrounding a Father’s Day card (pictured above) created by popular Hallmark-affiliated brand “Mahogany,” which was developed to appeal specifically to African-American consumers. The outside of the card, which reads “For My Mom On Father’s Day,” left a few folks feeling that Mahogany’s decision to sell this card was a blatant attempt to capitalize on the negative single mother/absent father stereotype that society often associates with the African-American community. On the other side of the debate were those who felt that the card was a genuinely heartfelt gesture that gave those in the community without fathers present in their lives for whatever reason the chance to let their mothers know that they too are appreciated on this day for stepping into the role of both parents as best they could. While many single parents do in fact step into the role of the missing parent everyday, many debating the topic also felt that women can’t be fathers or teach young boys how to be men and fathers can’t be mothers or teach young girls how to be women, so fathers should be able to be celebrated on their holiday without having to share the day with single mothers and vice versa. An additional point was made that Hallmark also sells similar cards that are not marketed towards African-Americans for people without both parents. So what say you, Bossip fam? Is Mahogany trying to make money by reinforcing a negative stereotype that undermines black fathers and families? Or is the card nothing more than a positive gesture meant to provide an option for those without both parents who want to show their mother appreciation on Father’s Day? Photo Credit: Facebook

Hoy En Mi Gente News: Latino Group Says Drinking Tequila, Eating Tacos, And Wearing Sombreros Is Offensive To Mexican Culture

Latino Group: Drinking Tequila, Eating Tacos Is Offensive To Mexicans According to these folks, your shady Jose Cuervo shots and guacamole eating on Cinco De Mayo is offensive! Via Fox News Radio: “Drinking tequila shots, eating tacos, and wearing sombreros do not commemorate Mexican culture; on the contrary, that offends, marginalizes and isolates many of our friends, classmates, and community leaders and casts our entire community in poor light,” wrote members of the group Alianza in a letter that was published in The Daily Northwestern. The letter was signed by members of the university’s Associated Student Government as well as members of the Latino group in response to Cinco de Mayo celebrations. “Some of our peers choose to throw ‘Mexican-themed’ parties that are culturally insensitive, offensive and detrimental to the Northwestern community,” they wrote. Instead, the group wanted students to celebrate Mexico’s “rich history” through parades, family gatherings and “folk dances.” However, a number of students who actually grew up in Mexico, said the student government association and the Latino group are way off base. “To whomever wrote and signed that letter, I’d like to say that I proudly embrace my tacos, tequila and sombreros,” said Ruben Antonio Marcos Bours. “To me, they are a key part of my childhood, growing up in Monterrey, Mexico.” And it turns out that the two co-presidents of Alianza are not even Mexican. “People think Alianza is representing Mexican culture on campus,” student Garcia Romero told the campus newspaper. “I see them as representing U.S. Hispanic culture. Very few of them have actually been to Mexico.” Romero said his friends back home probably celebrated Cinco de Mayo by drinking tequila and eating tacos. After generating widespread campus ridicule, the student group backtracked and said they were not trying to tell students how to celebrate the holiday. “We don’t even know how to celebrate,” co-president Darlene Reyes told the campus newspaper. As for their group – the Alianza marked Cinco de Mayo by roasting marshmallows. Really, though?? Glad there were some Mexican students to defend themselves on this one. GoPro HERO3: Black Edition review

We bought two Hero3 black edition cameras, used them this weekend with great video quality but terrible battery life and if you plan to use the wifi feature you will need to buy extra batteries or the battery back pack(I assume that is why they make it). We used the wifi iPhone app on one of the hero3 cameras and the battery was drained to almost empty in 30mins and the other hero3 camera we didn#39;t use the wifi feature and it lasted longer but not as long as expected(comparing to our other he

[WATCH] Harrison Ford Will See That ‘Wookiee Sack of S#@!’ Chewbacca "In Hell!"

Harrison Ford may look grumpy as hell, but the man has a fine-tuned sense of humor. Once again, the 42 actor has some fun with his Star Wars wingWookiee Chewbacca on    Jimmy Kimmel Live .   I was hoping that this time Ford would be furious at Chewy for roping him into celebrating Life Day on the much-maligned Star Wars Holiday Special ,  but Kimmel’s writers stuck to the running joke that the Wookiee had an affair with Ford’s wife.  The costumed geeks having to ask non-Star Wars questions is a lovely touch, too.  Here’s the clip: Chewing Up Chewy And this is what happened the last time Ford appeared on the show.  The Cowboys & Aliens lines are particularly funny in retrospect given the movie’s dismal box-office performance.
