Meghan Markle Addresses Cyber-Bullying: I Can’t Even Look at Twitter!

Sadly, in 2019, just about all of us have some experience with being insulted by a stranger online. Of course, public figures are more visible, and thus, they receive even more abuse on social media than the rest of us. And sadly, there are certain celebrities who get singled out for the kind of treatment that crosses the line between bullying and harassment. Meghan Markle is one of those celebrities. In the months since she married Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex has become the focus of a targeted online harassment campaign. In recent weeks, the racist attacks on Meghan have become so severe that palace officials have been forced to investigate. Fortunately, Meghan entirely steers clear of the racist cesspool that is Twitter, so at least she’s not personally exposed to the bigotry and bitterness. The duchess reminded us all of the importance of being selective about your media consumption when she participated in a panel discussion for International Women’s Day at King’s College in London. “My personal decision is to not to feed into negativity and be more cause-driven, action-based,” Meghan said. “For me it’s a tricky one, because I’m not part of any of that. I don’t look at it. Sorry, no. For me that is my personal preference. But I do read The Economist .“ The panel was hosted by Anne McElvoy, senior editor for The Economist , so Meghan wasn’t just boasting about her high-minded reading material. Meghan added that she seeks out “journalism that’s really covering things that are going to make an impact, which we talked about backstage. We were talking about Tanzania and the article The Economist just did. “Things like that, that are really talking about how the role of women is really shifting and changing,” Meghan added. “That’s key. Focus your energy there and not on the stuff that is perhaps muddling you.” So the good news is, Meghan isn’t personally exposed to the daily tidal wave of online hate targeted at her. The bad news is, it’s still going on — and it’s very dangerous. “The Royal Family is forced to be monitoring their social media feeds 24/7 because of all of the racist hate that Meghan has been receiving,” says a source close to the situation. “It has become a great problem.” It’s important to remember that each of us can play a role in correcting this insidious problem. Ariana Grande and Graham Phillips: Dating?! AGAIN?!

Ariana Grande is clearly enjoying the single life.  And we support her excessive rendezvousing all the way!  This time, Ari was caught dining with her ex, Graham Phillips in New York City on March 10.  If you don’t recognize the name, you’re not alone. This former BF was surprisingly left out of Ari’s recent self-love anthem, “thank u, next”, where she name-dropped notable exes including Mac Miller, Pete Davidson, Big Sean, and Ricky Alvarez.  But just because he didn’t make the cut, the Riverdale actor and Ari were all smiles while being photographed together at celeb hotspot Carbone downtown around 9 p.m. They stayed and chatted for around two hours, according to a source, looking very snug.  In appropriate Grande fashion, she donned a Burberry skirt and over-the-knee white boots under an oversized puffer coat for the occasion. The 25-year-old Broadway star rocked a blazer and slacks underneath a sleek dark coat.   The singer and Phillips dated for nearly three whole years after they co-starred together on the Broadway musical  13 back in 2008.  In 2011 the two split, but the “Sweetener” singer is one of those girls who can somehow remain close friends with an ex.  Their intimate reunion definitely sparked romance rumors, however, Ari was also spotted with her other ex-lover rapper Big Sean  almost two weeks prior to being photographed with Graham.  Ari and Sean dated for almost a year before they split back in 2015, and the two were recently caught getting cozy in his car outside a recording studio in LA on February 27.  The exes left together, leaving us uncertain as to whether the gathering was for business or pleasure. The Grammy winner is hanging out with her past boy toys in the midst of ex-fiance Pete Davidson’s new romance . “So cute,” Ariana told TMZ early in February regarding her thoughts on the comic and his new actress GF, Kate Beckinsale.  Pete and Kate began their romance at a Golden Globe’s after party following his split from Ariana back in October of last year. She posted a note to her Instagram Story, which informed her fans that she would be taking a break from social media to avoid “news n stuff that I’m tryna not to see rn,” following the called-off engagement.  She later referenced Pete in her “thank u, next” jam where she apologized to him for “dipping,” which led fans to believe it was her who initiated the breakup. Meanwhile, the SNL comedian is keeping very busy with his new girl from the looks of their recent hockey game in New York City, as Ari remains busy with her many get-togethers.  However, another source says to not mistake her friendly gatherings for dates. “She’s single,” the insider said. “She’s seen some of her exes, but she’s not dating any of them.” “She’s just catching up with people that she once cared about and had a connection with.” The source added to E! News that she is in Pennsylvania right now rehearsing for her tour and that is her main focus.  “She isn’t thinking about one particular guy or that aspect of her life. She’s working very hard to get ready for her shows,” the insider claims. Working hard but playing harder? We think so!

Look, we all know that Farrah Abraham isn't the most likable person. And we also all know that that's 100% her fault. She's rude, aggressive, dumb, and just all sorts of bad things. Jordyn Woods Returns to Instagram, Makes Radical Change

Jordyn Woods is hopng that a fresh look leads to a fresh start. The heretofore little known model/reality star/business woman had taken several days off Instagram after she admitted to kissing Tristan Thompson while he was still dating Khloe Kardashian. This was especially egregious because Woods has been close to Khloe and her family for many years. After laying low for awhile after this scandal went viral (and after Khloe finally dumped her terrible boyfriend), Woods spoke to Jada Pinkett Smith on the actress’s Facebook Watch talk show. And now she’s sort of made her first public comment since becoming Enemy Number-One of so many people on social media. “If you’re reading this.. it means God has given you another day to wake up and be grateful & better than you were yesterday,” wrote Woods as a caption to the photos down below and up above. As you can see, they feature Jordyn wearing a tight shirt and also showing off her new haircut. New look, new start in life? Perhaps this is what Woods is now thinking. As noted previously, Jordyn’s return to Instagram comes after she appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Tal, to share her side of the cheating scandal. Sitting at a table across from her pal and mentor, Woods claimed that Thompson was the one who initiated a smooch between himself and Woods. She asid he kissed her while she was on her way out of an afterparty at the NBA star’s house a few Sundays ago. “On the way out, he did kiss me,” Jordyn told Pinkett Smith, who asked if it was a peck or something more romantic. She added: “No passion, no nothing, on the way out. He just kissed me. Like a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing.” Jordyn Woods: I SWEAR I’m No Homewrecker! This may have been the case, it’s true. The thing is… why not reveal what happened to Khloe if it was merely a quick kiss on the lips? Why not alert her friend that her baby daddy was once again being disloyal? This is the question our staff recently debated upon discussing whether or not Khloe should forgive Jordyn . While Woods has admitted she made a mistake, she also denied being the reason why Thompson and Kardashiana are no longer together. “I’m no home wrecker,” Woods said, adding: “I would never try to hurt someone’s home, especially someone that I love. And someone that I’ve seen — has a beautiful daughter. I never was trying to steal someone’s man.” Upon first seeing Jordyn’s interview, Khloe lashed out and said it was, indeed, Jordyn’s fault that her family fell apart. But Khloe has since changed her tone and laid this blame at Tristsan’s feet. Where it deserves to be. “This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have,” she Tweeted a week ago, concluding at the time: “Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time. What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. Jenelle Evans … why is she the way that she is? We know all about her history — her troubled childhood, her teen pregnancy, her drug use and so on. But still, you'd think that at some point she would learn not to do certain things, or at least not to do them in front of her nearly three million followers on Instagram. Unfortunately, that's just not the case. It's looking like Jenelle will never, ever learn. And it's also looking like her kids are suffering for it. 1. A Big Question Where do we even start on the topic of Jenelle’s parenting fails? 2. A Fact There have just been so, so many. 3. Oh, Jace … Remember when Jace was a baby and Jenelle thought she could leave him at home while she went out to party all night because he’d be sleeping anyway? She said that when he was a newborn. 4. She Wasn’t Wrong She thought it wasn’t a big deal because her mom was there to take care of him, and she was right, because after a few months of this, Barbara got custody of Jace. 5. Not a Good Look As questionable as some of the other Teen Moms were in the beginning, none of them have ever lost custody of their children like that. 6. Going Down a Bad Road After that, she got more into partying and drugs and getting arrested, and while she talked about getting Jace back every once in a while, she obviously wasn’t in any place to do that. Martin Shkreli In Prison: Illegally Running His Business, Hanging With a Dude Named Krispy

It’s been about 16 months since Martin Shkreli was sentenced to seven years in prison . You probably remember Shkreli as the “Pharma Bro” (though we’ve always preferred the “Pharma Douche” variation on that nickname) who jacked up the price of a life-saving medication for HIV patients a whopping 5,000% percent during his tenure as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals. That act of pure evil made Shkreli “the most hated man in America.” (Of course, his constant trolling of the Wu-Tang Clan didn’t help. Did no one inform this guy they’re nothing to f–k with?) But it was Shkreli’s unrelated conviction for securities fraud that earned him seven-year stay in federal prison. Shkreli is a devoted member of MAGA nation, but he never climbed the ladder of insanity high enough to get the full Manafort treatment, so the Donald isn’t sticking his neck out by pardoning Lil Marty. But fear not, the hip hop obsessed Hillary hater is making the most of his life behind bars, as revealed in a hilarious new profile of Shkreli published this week by the Wall Street Journal. The paper promises a glimpse into “the secret life of inmate 87850-053, 16 months into a seven-year sentence,” and boy, does it deliver. The most talked-about revelation from the Journal piece is that Shkreli is still acting as CEO of his company (newly-named Phoenixus AG in response to numerous PR nightmares) with the aid of a contraband cell phone. And while you might think that his time behind bars would have humbled Shkreli a bit, it seems he’s still a nightmare to work for. The Journal reports that one of Shkreli’s most recent actions was to call his CFO and fire the guy while he was on an African vacation with his fiancee. The problem, it seems, is that the exec picked the wrong time to ask for a seven-figure (?!?!) raise. You see, Shkreli is stretched thin these days, what with paying for protection and covering his fellow inmates’ poker debts (seriously). Marty was already feeling the pinch, and since the fired exec won’t be shanking anyone in the yard for him, he had to be let go. So who are the movers and shakers on Shkreli’s prison payroll? Well, it seems he’s got a crew of guys with names like “Krispy” and “D-Block.” According to the Journal , these up-and-comers “walk alongside him in the hall to ward off shenanigans from other inmates,” which is exactly how we would expect the Wall Street Journal to cover prison politics. But Krispy and D-Block do more than just keep Shkreli from physical harm. They recently dissuaded him from playing guitar in a prison rock band, as the other members were all locked up for child molestation. They’re also helping Marty with his goal of doing — we sh-t you not — 15 push-ups in a row. We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on how gloriously f–ked this dude would be, were it not for the fact that he’s mega-rich. But it’s not just money that keeps Shkreli’s associates loyal (j/k, that’s exactly what it is). The 35-year-old recently attempted to bolster his street cred by asking his Facebook followers to translate Meek Mill lyrics into Spanish for him. And in exchange, the Shkreli crew bestowed upon their boss the ultimate honor — a prison nickname. That nickname? A-hole.

Lotte van der Zee, Miss Teen Universe, Dead at 19

A former Miss Teen Universe has tragically passed away at the young age of 19. Model Lotte van der Zee, from Holland, was on a family ski trip when she suffered a fatal heart attack .  Her parents, Bert van der Zee and Eugeniek van het Hul shared the devastating news through their daughter’s Instagram account. “Our pearl, our everything passed away on Wednesday evening March 6th at 22:47,” they captioned the post.  “It is incredibly surreal that our dearly beloved Lotte is not around us anymore. Our hearts are truly broken.” The Dutch model passed away a day before her 20th birthday, according to E! News. During the family trip to Austria, her parents spoke with a Dutch newspaper where they reported that “Lotte started to feel unwell throughout the course of the afternoon.” They said their daughter had been out with friends the night before her heart attack but that she had returned “cheerfully and without health complaints.” But she did not show up for breakfast the next morning and when her parents went to check on her, they found her sick in bed. They wrote on Lotte’s Instagram account that her sickness “swiftly escalated in sudden cardiac arrest” later that day. She was resuscitated by her mother and rushed to a nearby hospital before being placed into a coma where she was kept asleep under intensive supervision by the doctors in order to monitor her health.  The young model was then transferred to a special hospital in Munich, Germany where she began suffering organ failure, according to reports. Since their daughter’s unexpected passing, her parents have received an incredible amount of messages.  “We would like to thank you all again for all the support and heartwarming messages.” The 19-year-old won the Miss Teenager Universe title back in 2017. The pageant’s social media account sent their sympathy, writing, “Losing someone we loved is not easy, but knowing that we have been able to be part of her life, it has been [an] amazing journey,” they wrote. “Our deepest condolences to your family and friends.” Her family told the newspaper that tests are still being carried out to determine what exactly caused her heart attack. Grey’s Anatomy Recap: Is MerLuca Doomed?

Meredith and DeLuca are still in the early stages of their relationship.  As with all ‘Ships on Grey’s Anatomy, there’s always some drama thrown in for good measure.  Thursday’s episode of the ABC hit kicked off with DeLuca’s father, Vincenzo pitching his project to Alex.  The project was all about him creating an external sac that premature babies could be transferred to in order to develop until they’re full term.  It was pretty crazy stuff, but he also revealed that he had great success when he trialed the procedure on animals.  So, what was holding Alex back from approving the surgery?  Vincenzo’s relationship with DeLuca was strained. Hell, DeLuca did not want to be anywhere near his father.  Meredith was under the impression that Vicenzo was suffering from an undiagnosed medical illness thanks to Carina who threw her father well and truly under the bus.  Vincenzo asked DeLuca to join him on the surgery, promising that it would help put his career “on the map.” Meredith was quick to veto the whole thing because she was concerned that Vincenzo having an undiagnosed medical condition would scupper things if he got to work with human patients. DeLuca pressed on without getting the go-ahead from Meredith, and it looks like we’re in for one of these crazy moments in which couples are put on the line.   Meredith made some valid points, and the hospital is going to be liable if his undisclosed mental illness killed or harmed a patient, well, that means there’s going to be a media storm at the hospital.  How far will Meredith go to shut the whole thing down?  We bet she’s going to go the full way, and it’s going to create some big complications in her relationship.  Elsewhere, Maggie got 15 minutes of fame thanks to some name-dropping.  By that, we mean the surgeon went on a podcast and revealed that she was the daughter of Ellis Grey.  This immediately changed the scope of the conversation, and the hosts failed to ask about anything she had done for herself.  It was harrowing for her, but she bit back by revealing that Ellis had an affair with Richard, and that’s how she was born.  Instead, it created the media storm you would expect in this day and age.  “It’s not a part of my story that I’m particularly proud of,” Richard told his daughter, confirming that he was unhappy about the way she was brought into the world.  He later told his daughter that he was ecstatic she existed, but he struggled with the whole scandal part of it.  What did you think of the episode? Elly Mayday, Body-Positive Model, Dies Of Ovarian Cancer At Age 30

Model and body positive activist Elly Mayday has died at the young age of 30 , after a long battle with Ovarian cancer.  Her family announced that she passed away on March 1 through her social media accounts.  The model’s birth certificate name was Ashley Luther and she was born in Saskatchewan, Canada.  She adopted her new name, Elly Mayday, as she fought her way through the industry as one of the first curvy models, according to People .  “Ashey was a country girl at heart who had a passion for life that was undeniable,” her family wrote.  “She dreamed of making an impact on people’s lives. She achieved this through the creation of Elly Mayday which allowed her to connect with all of you. Her constant support and love from her followers held a special place in her heart.” At just 25 years old Elly began feeling sick from constant and severe lower back pain, which led to four trips to the emergency room.  Her doctors sent her away with painkillers and told her and the family she needed to lose weight.  “The doctor told me to work my core,” Mayday told People back in 2015.  “We’re undermined being younger, being women. I started to realize no one is going to help me unless I help myself.” She began pushing her doctors and asked for a CT scan, which revealed an ovarian cyst that turned out to be stage 3 ovarian cancer.  The findings were completely shocking, as that type of cancer typically occurs in post-menopausal women. After undergoing several surgeries and months of chemotherapy, the young model’s life was looking up.  Unfortunately, in 2017 her cancer returned and she spent most of the year in the hospital. Advanced-stage ovarian cancer is difficult to treat and 40-50 percent of patients who undergo chemo and enter remission will have a recurrence within three years, according to the University of New Mexico Cancer Center.  Following her diagnosis, the model began proudly posing for photos, baring the surgery scars on her abdomen for magazines and her personal social media pages. She began sharing her triumphant and difficult moments and gained a rather huge following for her honest documentation throughout her battle. Before her tragic death, Mayday wrote on Instagram that she has “always been looking for that opportunity to help people,” which she got to do through sharing her cancer journey.  “My choice to be public and try and share my strength was imminent. Helping is how I justify my time here is well spent.” “I’m lucky I have been able to combine it with the fun career of modeling, cause that’s also very me (hah no surprise),” she continued. “I appreciate everyone who lets me know I’ve made a difference, with my advice, my sharing, my photos and just my general approach to a real tough situation,” she concluded her post.  R.I.P Elly Mayday, you will be missed.  View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam

Naturally, it is filled with some of the most toxic couples and the most vitriolic feuds that you can imagine. Not all of that bile plays out on camera, either. Behind the scenes and on social media, 90 Day Fiance stars will wage verbal wars on each other. Sometimes, it's a rival from their season or a person who was almost family. Other times, it's people who have only met once or twice, but experience loathing at first sight. Take a look below and see the most intense feuds that have ever played out among the stars. 1. 90 Day Fiance has a wealth of feuds Fans may start watching for the controversial couples and the cute couples, but the feuds will keep you hooked for years — because that’s how long they can last. 2. On the tell all, this culminated in the hilarious moment when Larissa yelled “shut upee!” It broke the tension — a little. 6.
