Alexa Curtin, Real Housewives of Orange County Star, Busted for Drug Possession

Alexa Curtin, a veteran presence on The Real Housewives of Orange County, was arrested earlier this month on two counts of drug possession. According to documents obtained by The Blast, the 26-year-old was taken into custody on January 5 for possession of Xanax and drug paraphernalia. She actually spent one night at the Orange County Jail and was released on January 6 after posting bond. Curtin is scheduled to appear in court this March for a hearing, which is something the Bravo personality may be used to doing. In other words: this is far from her first run-in with the law. Just this past October, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Curtin after she failed to appear in court hearings related to three separate criminal cases. The daughter of Real Housewives of Orange County alums Lynne and Frank Curtin, Alexa previously arrested in August of 2018 for drug-related warrants and spent four days in jail. There’s a lot more on her record, too… She was also arrested in June of 2017 on a DUI charge and charged in April 2018 for this crime. The occasional actress (who listed her occupation as “unemployed” when she most recently got arrested) also spent time behind bars in February of 2018 for possession of paraphernalia from committing petty theft… allegedly smoking heroin… and keying her boyfriend’s car. Going back to 2014, Curtin filed a lawsuit accusing an Orange County sheriff’s deputy of raping her during a different traffic stop that year. “We take allegations of this nature very seriously,” a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department told OC Weekly at that time, adding: “We are currently working with her attorney to set up an interview.” Curtin has also worked as a porn star under the name Jayden Taylors. We’re not judging. We’re just relaying some information here. Alexa and her sister, Raquel, appeared on the fourth and fifth seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County alongside their parents. Lynne filed for divorce in December of 2012 after 22 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” “I love Frank, but it was time to go out on my own,” the jewelry designer told Radar Online back then. “Who knows what the future holds, but I’m looking forward to doing the things that I want to do.” For his part, Frank told the Orange County Register: “I’m not a willing participant in this. It hurts to even think about it or talk about it. Call me old-fashioned, but I take my vows very seriously.” Let’s hope Lynne and Frank also take the difficulties of their daughter very seriously. Alexa appears to be in need of some major help here.

The Duggar Family Uses a Secret Code Word For the Weirdest Reason

As Duggar fans (and viewers who love to hate-watch) have observed, Duggar courtships are getting shorter and shorter . Patriarch Jim Bob will do anything to keep his kids chaste until marriage, even if it means marrying them off sooner. The Duggars have another tool to keep their kids “pure” … a code word that they say under this bizarre circumstance. In their book, Growing Up Duggar , sisters Jana, Jessa, Jill, and Jinger reveal a lot about their controversial family. One of those long-forgotten, overlooked details is a code word that is used by the Duggar women in a specific situation. The secret code word is … … “Nike.” All jokes about the Duggars invoking the name of the winged goddess of victory aside, they are clearly referring to the brand of shoes. And no, it’s not out of support for the NFL’s Colin Kaepernick, although we can see Ben Seewald appreciating the irony. Why do they say it? Michelle and her daughters say “Nike” if they see a woman dressed by standards others than the Duggar dress code. Oh yes. The girls give this warning if they see a harlot with bare arms or wearing jeans or showing her unholy knees. Or, who knows. Maybe even their lower thighs. In response, the Duggar boys are required to look down at their feet so that they won’t see a normal human woman. It’s essentially the literal exact opposite of pointing out a hottie to your friend when you’re walking around town. We’ll hand it to them on one key point at least: “Nike” is a pretty subtle way of telling the guys to stare at the ground. To outsiders, it would just appear as if the guys are bored or painfully shy. Or perhaps really interested in footwear. But we know. We know. They’re also consistent. Michelle has spoken in the past about why her daughters are required to dress a certain way. The women of the Duggar are basically forced to wear the baggiest clothing that hides their skin and curves. “By keeping those private areas covered,” Michelle explained. “There’s not any ‘defrauding’ going on.” Yes. Defrauding. In real life, the entire notion of fraud is usually predicated upon lies or broken promises or other deceptions. Michelle and Jim Bob see things very, very differently (as is true of most things) as evidenced by their interpretation of this. “My kids are taught the definition of defrauding as stirring up desires that cannot be righteously fulfilled,” Michelle adds. “We don’t believe in defrauding others by the way we dress.” Within the Duggar household, they do not believe in any sexual activity – or kissing or hand-holding – before marriage. If you stop and think about it, what Michelle is saying there goes beyond even the bounds of “normal” modesty culture. She’s not simply arguing that women are magically responsible for the sexual thoughts of men, though there’s that, too. Michelle’s saying, almost outright, that a provocative glimpse, whether it’s of bare skin or of covered curves, is a promise. A promise of sex. There’s a word for social attitudes that frame the physical appearance of women as an invitation or a promise to have sex: rape culture. It is this exact mentality that causes predators to walk free and for survivors of sexual violence to blame themselves. So … yikes. Paris Jackson Breaks Silence on Alleged Mental Health Treatment

Paris Jackson would like everyone to remember an old adage: Don’t believe everything you read. Especially not when it comes to the personal life of someone you’ve never met. Earlier today, we reported what other outlets had written about Michael Jackson’s famous daughter; that she had checked into rehab for assistance with her mental health . This is what an insider told People Magazine on the topic: “After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health. “She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan and is looking forward to coming out of this revitalized and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her.” According to Paris herself, however, only the first part of this statement is accurate. Along with a photo of herself and her dog on Instagram, Jackson updated followers on her status this afternoon. She acknowledges that things haven’t been going so well of late — but seems to shoot down talk that she is seeing anyone professional about it. “The media is exaggerating per usual,” Jackson wrote online, adding in more detail: “yes i’ve taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break, but i am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!” Jackson then delved into her musical career and concluded: “gabriel and i have some new music we’re stoked to share with y’all! (@thesoundflowers) hope you guys’ new year started out with lots of love and light and all the things. “i’ll be back soon!!” In recent years, Jackson has been open about struggling with anxiety and depression, while also dealing with the trauma from a sexual assault in her teenage years. Just a couple months ago, we heard that family members were worried Jackson would overdose . A source who spoke to The New York Post, meanwhile, says that the 20-year-old had received an evaluation but returned home shortly afterward. It’s unclear when this evaluation took place. But the insider did add that Jackson was just “tired” and “exhausted” from her busy schedule the past several months. In a 2017 Rolling Stone article, the young star admitted she has attempted suicide several times. “I was going through a lot of, like teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help,” she told the magazine, saying she tried to kill herself in June of 2013 attempt at age 15, adding: “It was just self-hatred … Low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.” We really hope Jackson is doing better these days. Jazz Jennings Hosts "Farewell to Penis" Party Before Surgery

We already reported that Jazz Jenning's difficult gender confirmation surgery was, ultimately, a success. But in the build-up, everyone was a little nervous about this major operation. Fortunately, there was a way to cut the tension. On the latest episode of I Am Jazz , Jazz's mom threw a “farewell to penis” party for her daughter. Yes, there was a penis cake. Tuesday night was Season 5, Episode 3 of I Am Jazz , an episode titled: “Caterpillar to Butterfly.” We hope that we do not have the spell out the symbolism of either caterpillars or butterflies when it comes to human genitalia. In the episode, Jazz is hyped for her bottom surgery — the term used in the trans community for surgery on one's genitals. (it contrasts with top surgery, where breast tissue is either removed or implants are added, and doesn't make everyone endure the word “genitals”) Any major surgery is a big deal, and Jazz's surgery has its own unique challenges. So Jazz's parents have a conversation about how to celebrate their daughter's upcoming surgery. Her mom's idea is a “farewell to penis” party, as she explains to Jazz's dad. That is an accurate description. Jazz is and always has been a girl, so a spoof on a gender reveal party wouldn't make much sense. (Remember, genitals are not gender) “I wanna do this party, because I want to have fun with the idea that Jazz is having surgery,” Jeanette explained. “This is not fun,” Jeanette said of her daughter's upcoming operation. “There's nothing fun about this, but laughter is the best medicine.” Jazz's dad like things a little more “low-key” than his wife or daughter, so he's not so sure that a “farewell to penis” party is in good taste. But when Jazz hears that her dad is a little embarrassed by the idea of the party, she is totally onboard. As Jazz explains, “I love making my dad uncomfortable.” What teen doesn't? Especially when her dad is, as she says, “more reserved and modest.” “And,” she continues. “If this penis party is going to do just that, then we've gotta have a penis party.” And that was that. Jazz actually helped to make the cake, which has a penis on it — made of rolled fondant — that has a pair of eyes on it. The cake-dong was not photorealistic, but it was close enough to the real thing that TLC saw fit to blur it in several shots. The phallic cake went on top of a generic store-bought cake, which is a good choice. Fondant is … not as tasty as actual frosting. (Jazz and Jeanette actually had a bit of an argument, because Jazz wanted flesh-toned frosting but her mom insisted on the fondant) Her mom also discussed the idea of a penis pinata, which is certainly a symbolic gesture in its own right. Also during the episode, Jazz and her parents disagreed about cybersecurity issues. Jazz is a vlogger who updates her fans and followers on her life and very frankly discusses trans issues. During one video, she happened to mention the date of her surgery. Her parents were concerned, and pointed out that of the countless transphobes out there, some are certainly violent. It would only take one hateful lunatic to barge into the hospital to kill her or her doctors. Thankfully, that did not happen, but it's a good reminder that public figures who are also minorities are at higher risk of violence from bigots. We're glad that Jazz was safe and pulled through her surgery okay despite some complications.

72-Year Old Marries Teenager She Met at Son’s Funeral

We know, we know: You can’t fight true love. The heart wants what the heart wants and all that. But still. You can go ahead and toss out whatever cliche you’d like about romance, and we’re still gonna have the same reaction to the following story… …. EWWWWW ! As reported by The Sun, Almeda and Gary Hardwick got married in 2016, only two weeks after they met — at the funeral for Almeda’s son, Robert. This detail is strange and sort of gross enough on its own, but it gets even more strange and sort of gross. Almeda is 72 years oldand Gary is 19. Moreover, the relationship is apparently very hot and awfully heavy. “I was married for 43 years and there wasn’t a lot of kissy, huggy stuff going on…no romance,” Almeda recently said on her YouTube channel. But now? With Gary? “We are always complimenting and kissing. We’re enjoying our relationship,” she says. “When you meet that perfect one, that’s when you know you don’t want to lose that feeling. “The compliments, the hugs the kisses… that’s very romantic.” Almeda even went on to say that she and her much younger husband are “wonderful lovers” and that they first had sex on their wedding night. “It was wonderful, beyond my wildest dreams,” says Gary, who previously dated a 77-year old. “She really is my dream woman and the physical side of our relationship couldn’t be better.” Almeda hosts a talk show titled “Girl’s Talk,” where she offers advice to members of the public. “In our relationship, we do little things each day to help each other out, whether he cooks me supper or mops for me,” she told her fans of how she and Gary make it work, adding: “We always thank each other. It’s the little things like that, cooking a meal, washing dishes.” She makes it all sound so normal and healthy, doesn’t she? Perhaps we are being too quick to judge. Then again, the couple lives with one of Almenda’s grandsons, who is three years older than her husband. So that brings us back to: EWWWWWW ! Two-plus years ago, after her son died from a seizure, Almeda said she noticed Gary from across the room at the funeral home. “He was on the other side of the church, but I kept looking over at him. It was like a bright light through the grief. Then, as I was walking to the door at the end, he came over and passed on his condolences. “We didn’t have much time, but it was enough.” Two weeks after their first date, Gary and Almeda had the blessings of his family and agreed to wed. Gary now has their names tattooed across his chest. He says very simply of his bride: “Almeda is so young at heart that age never bothers us, we never really think about it. I just know that God answered my prayers that day she walked into my life.”

Alexis Skyy is Dating Rob Kardashian for Some Strange Reason

We have an update on Rob Kardashian’s love life. Which is to say the following: Rob Kardashian apparently has a love life once again! For reasons that are yet to be fully explained, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Alexis Skyy definitely appears to be getting frisky with the occasional sock designer, as both she and Rob have shared intimate videos of the other one on Instagram over the last week or so. (No, not the sort of intimate video Skyy allegedly made with Fetty Wap .) These videos and this report come amidst strong rumors that Skyy got into a fight with Blac Chyna. Coincidence? Considering Chyna is Rob’s ex-fiancee and perpetual baby mama? We think so. According to TMZ, Skyy (pictured below) and Chyna went at it during a private party in Los Angeles on Saturday night — and Skyy says Chyna was totally to blame. As Alexis tells it, Chyna invited her over to her table… .. only to then hurl a drink at her out of nowhere. Skyy told TMZ over the weekend that she responded by throwing punches at Chyna, which prompted her to be tossed from the event. However, based on her Instagram account at least, Skyy then waited for Chyna outside of the club in order to finish their fight: From there, Skyy accused Chyna of using cocaine. See for yourself: Fast forward to Monday night and Kardashian shared a series of videos and photos of Skyy making him dinner at what appears to be Kris Jenner‘s Calabasas mansion. This romance setting and date night took place after Rob referrde to Skky as his Women Crush Wednesday. “My WCW… I’ve been wanting you for so long,” Kardashian wrote over a photo of Skyy hours prior to going public with their rendezvous. Chyna, who shares a two-year old girl named Dream with Kardashian, has yet to address the fight or Skyy and Kardashian’s potential romance. But Rob did reply to a Twitter user who asked about Skyy by saying he’s known her for five years. We’re sure they’ve traveled in the same reality show circles (random parties and red carpet events) during this time. Skyy, meanwhile, is 24 years old, and of Jamaican and Dominican descent; she grew up on Long Island, New York. Just like Chyna, she started out as a stripper before moving on the world of reality television, having given birth to a daughter named Alaiya in Januart of last year. Fetty Wap is the little girl’s father. Based on the photos above, it’s not hard to see what Kardashian sees in Alexis Skyy. But what does Alexis Skyy see in Kardashian? Cold, hard cash. We mean… we have no idea.

The website has rundown a list of frightening new details from the night in question, which ended with Larissa getting arrested for domestic battery and then Colt filing for divorce a few hours later. How did this 90 Day Fiance Couple fall so far so fast? That's a very, very long story. But what went down on the evening that finally put a nail in their tenuous coffin? Meghan Markle: Did ANOTHER Royal Staffer Quit Because of the Diva Duchess?

In fairy tales and Hallmark movies, marrying a prince is usually a sign of a happy ending. But as Meghan Markle has spent the last eight months discovering, in real life, a royal wedding can be the start of a very difficult transition. The months since Meghan married Prince Harry have been marked by some dizzying highs ( Meghan is expecting her first child !), but also some painful lows. Most of the trouble has come from Meghan’s awful family, who have devoted themselves to attempting to destroy the duchess’ public image. But there have been reports of considerable strife within Kensington Palace, as well. In addition to Meghan’s alleged feud with Kate Middleton , there have numerous shakeups within the royal staff, several of which have been attributed to Meghan. The tabloid media has spilled a considerable amount of ink on the topic of Meghan driving royal staffers to quit. And while it’s true that two high-profile palace employees have resigned from their posts in the past three months, one was one was occupying an interim position and the other never blamed Meghan for her decision to quit. But now another highly-visible member of the royal staff has decided to step down, and you can be sure that Meghan will take the blame once again. According to London’s Sunday Times , a Scotland Yard officer who was assigned to be Meghan’s bodyguard lasted just six months in the job. Insiders say the issue was not the guard’s performance, but the fact that Meghan resents being watched so closely. “Unlike someone who has grown up in the royal family and has been used to having close protection from an early age, it can be constraining,” says a source. “Even though [Meghan] was a famous actress, she could still do what she wanted in the way of getting around freely.” The insider adds: “But in her current role she can’t go anywhere without her protection team, and that’s a massive constraining force on an individual like her.” So for the moment, it seems, Meghan is guard-less. We doubt that palace officials will permit that to be a permanent state of affairs — so hopefully they’ll be able to find Meghan a replacement who will allow her a bit more freedom. Unfortunately for the former Suits star, freedom is one of the amenities that’s typically sacrificed by members of the Royal Family. Logan Paul Plans to "Go Gay" for a Month, Is the Literal Worst

For Logan Paul, mocking victims of suicide was apparently not evil enough of an act. The pathetic YouTube star has now decided he has to go ahead and make fun of the LGBT lifestyle as well. On Wednesday, Paul and co-host Mike Majlak recorded an episode of their podcast “Impaulsive,” during which they discussed unique changes they had been making for just a few weeks at a time. “So our New Year’s resolution … we’re vegan now, and we’re sober?” Paul began. “Just for the month,” Majlak assured him. The two total idiots men said they plan to test out a new resolution each month, with January being “Sober Vegan January” and February being “Fatal February” (“steaks, big bottles of Tito’s and sh-t, just wilin’ out,” of course). As for March? “What is it, Male-Only March?” Paul said. “We’re gonna attempt to go gay for just one month.” We’re sorry, but … EXCUSE YOU?!? “For one month, and then swing … and then go back,” Majlak added. The hosts are seemingly unaware of just how insensitive and flat-out ridiculous this notion is: To simply try out a lifestyle, as if it’s a game or social experiment and not a serious issue for those who live through it everyday and continue to be discriminated against. Thankfully, Twitters users wasted no time at all in lashing out against Paul. “So Logal [sic] Paul is ‘going Gay’ for a month? “This idiots [sic] acting like our sexuality is some sort of monthly subscription! Hope he knows once you subscribe you can’t unsubscribe,” one listener tweeted, while another concurred: “He’s not exploring his sexuality. “He’s mocking gay men and using the lgbt community as a publicity stunt for views, and on top of that, is promoting the false belief that being gay is a choice to his young and impressionable audience.” YouTube personality Donny Winter also weighed in as follows: “Looks like #LoganPaul is going gay for a month. Because a person can just flip a switch and be gay/straight whenever they want. “You’d think you’d learn from your past antics, Logan. Video coming.” About a year ago at this time, Paul also came under fire for filming the body of a man hanging from a tree in what has been dubbed the “suicide forest” of Japan. This is a location near the base of Mt. Fuji. In the since-deleted footage, Paul and his friends laughed, spoke in “funny” voices and repeatedly zoomed in on the corpse. Yes, the frickin corpse . He apologized for the controversy shortly afterward, though most doubted his sincerity. “Where do I begin . . . Let’s start with this — I’m sorry,” he said, adding at the time: “This is a first for me. I’ve never faced criticism like this before, because I’ve never made a mistake like this before. I’m surrounded by good people and believe I make good decisions, but I’m still a human being. “I can be wrong.” And now Paul sort of admits he’s wrong again.  “very poor choice of words… my fault,” he Tweeted in response to the “gonna go gay” scandal, concluding by hyping his podcast: “let’s get together and talk about it on my podcast next week?” We’re gonna go ahead and give you a hard no on that one, Logan. Call us when you understand that an apology doesn’t really count when you use it as a means of self-promotion. Actually, we take that back: Never, ever call us.

Bride Goes Viral with Mysterious, Overly Aggressive Save-the-Date

We’ve seen plenty of unusual/offensive/hilarious/ridiculous wedding invitations or requests over the years. Such as the list of outrageous demands made by this bridezilla to her attendees. But have you ever heard of a save-the-date that didn’t actually list any date to be saved? But DID warn potential wedding-goers about how expensive the trip would be and outlined all the reasons why they may not want to check yes ? Neither had we. Until now… An unidentified woman from Australia has gone viral after her two-page Save-the-Date was shared on Facebook. As you can see below, this announcement doesn’t actually tell loved ones when her wedding will take place. Or where it will take place, not specifically at least. Instead, it is comprised of a bizarre list of requirements titled “Things To Keep In Mind Before You Say Yes.” Let’s go over the passages that have been scrutinized and mocked the most by folks on the Internet, shall we? FIRST, the bride notes that she hasn’t yet picked a venue; she only knows that it will be held “in an Asian country,” possibly the Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam. SECOND, she writes “you will need at least two weeks off…one week is [too] short for how long the flights are.” She writes this despite also saying that the festivites themselves will only take “2-3 days.” THIRD, the bride feels a need to explain how money and vacations work, telling her friends and relatives: You will need approximately $4,000 to $5,000 or more if you desire; that includes hotels, food, drink, daily adventures, scooter rentals. Just good to have safe buffer money. You will not spend all of this…all depends on what kind of holiday you want. FOURTH, the woman makes a point to tell the invitees they should “think this all over” before RSVPing, but that they will “really love it over there.” Of course, it’s not clear where there actually is, considering, once again, there aren’t any actual details included on the Save-the-Date. This, along with the weird details that are included, prompted Facebook users to react in horror, shock and disgust over the viral message. “I think this is an invitation to be murdered,” one person quipped. “These people really do not want anyone at their wedding,” another person commented. “She might not even need a venue after those ‘save the dates’, as it might just be her and the hubby,” another agreed. “Has anyone started counting the grammar/spelling mistakes?” one individual wondered. We’re sure the bride would just say she wanted to make sure everyone understood what he or she was getting into. She would likely argue that she was trying not to pressure anyone into coming on such an endeavor; that she wrote all this for their sake. But it still comes across as really strange, condescending and aggressive. “We hope to give you at least 9 months in advance, so if you want to attend, start saving your pennies now!” she added. “Once we receive everyone’s save-the-dates back and know how many people are willing to make the long journey to attend, we will begin finding a venue and send out the invitations.” As one generous reader pointed out, this wasn’t an awful idea in theory.
