Kailyn Lowry isn't interested in saving any drama for her mama, as the saying goes. Instead, the famous MTV personality just wants to put the drama behind her. She wants to keep it in the past. She's looking to move on and stay strong, focused, determined and, most of all, content and peaceful in 2019. So Lowry has said herself on Twitter at least. Eight people. Four couples. One ridiculous reality show that craps all over the sacred concept of marriage. Yup: Married at First Sight returned with new episodes on Tuesday night! On yesterday’s Season 8 premiere, viewers met Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo , the former of whom s just dying to fall in love and the latter of whom runs a speed dating company. So he’s frequently around new couples and is familiar with the world of meeting someone and quickly trying to establish a connection with this person. Both parties were psyched to exchange vows. On his wedding day, Luke realized that a woman in the crowd actually attended one of his speed dating events. Then, when Kate headed down the aisle, he whispered to his groomsmen that he had actually met this woman before. Weird, right? But also all we know for now, as Luke looked concerned over this revelation, yet fans will need to wait until next week to see if he’s happy with his decision to marry Kate. We now turn to Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess . McGriff was unable to fully enjoy her nuptials because her family disapproved of this entire process. They were very traditional and, understandably, acted aghast that Jasmine was actually going through with marrying someone she just met. She was overwhelmed. She was stressed. She was questioning her decision-making process… … and then she met Guess. Almost immediately, newlyweds were each cracking jokes and laughing at the absurdity what they were doing; it all felt very natural. “I could see myself falling in love with Jasmine,” Will said. Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller , for their part, were both quite energetic and ready to find love. On papter, therefore, they seemed like a great match. Heck, Stephanie even admitted right away that she’d be “devastated” if it didn’t work out… which is somewhat crazy when you consider the set-up here. When the two finally met, Stephanie realized she had never dated someone as outgoing as AJ and said his “enthusiasm is really cute.” The new husband and wife spent the evening talking their affection for partying and drinking, so they seemed to be hitting things off well. We’ll see if it lasts. Finally, we arrive at Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth . One (Keith) is an introvery and the other (Kristine) is rather conservative, so they felt that it was important to let loose before their wedding at their bachelor and bachelorette parties. They just had to get it all out, you know? “I would love somebody to pull me out of this little funk that I’m in,” Keith said, not exactly inspiring confidence that he’s prepared for marriage. In the end, both spouses-to-be drank a lot of alcohol and enjoyed their friends – and a few strippers – the night before they were tied down. For life? Or just for a few weeks? We’ll be tuning in this season to find out!
It’s a new year. But it’s the same old Louis C.K. Actually, that’s not even accurate: it’s a somewhat different Louis C.K. than the one who came across as mostly harmless and well-intentioned before he was outed as a serial and offensive masturbator . As you very likely have read about by now, leaked audio of a recent stand-up set by the controversial comedian went viral late last week. It featured C.K. making fun of non-binary individuals who wish to be referred to by the pronouns “they” or “them,” and it also featured the star mocking survivors of that school shooting in Parkland, Florida . A quick and horrifying refresher : On February 14, 2018, a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, murdering seventeen students and staff members and injuring seventeen others. In the wake of this tragedy, a handful of the students who survived have spoken out passionately about the country’s need for more strict gun control legislation. And C.K. apparently finds this appalling. “Testify in front of Congress, these kids, what the f-ck? What are you doing?” says C.K. in this audio clip , adding in a very strange attempt to be funny: “Cause you went to a high school where kids got shot, why does that mean I have to listen to you? Why does that make you interesting? “You didn’t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way and now I gotta listen to you talking?” The backlash to this lame joke was swift and savage, with many associated with the Parkland massacre speaking out on social media. “It’s a shame when you sink so low that your comeback plan is to make fun of school shooting survivors for speaking out,” Stoneman Douglas graduate Ryan Deitsch said on Twitter. He later urged folks to stop discussing this subject in order to rob C.K. of the publicity: “While I appreciate members of the press for doing their duties, I & hopefully others will decline to speak more on this subject. “This will only grant further attention to an individual whose deplorability belongs left behind as we all ascend into a brighter new year.” For a very understandable reason, however, Fred Guttenberg could not follow this advice. Having lost his 14-year-old daughter, Jamie, in the attack, Guttenberg addressed C.K. directly with a pointed message: “To anyone who knows Louis CK, please deliver this message for me. My daughter was killed in the Parkland shooting. “My son ran from the bullets. My wife and I deal with loss everyday. Why don’t you come to my house and try out your new pathetic jokes?” Elsewhere in his set, C.K. wondered why teenagers these days aren’t just getting drunk and partying and simply relaxing and having fun, just like they did in his day. Parkland survivor Kyra Parrow has the perfect response to this question. Although taking jello shots & eating mushrooms might have been ideal for you when you were 18, that is not the luxury that we have after having to see our friends and classmates in caskets because of preventable gun violence.
David Eason is … well, he seems to be in sort of a weird place right now. And by “weird,” we mean “very, very bad.” He's being investigated by the Secret Service, he's facing criminal charges for towing a handicapped man's truck. It's all just bad. In the midst of all that, he's been sharing some pretty bizarre videos that are really making people concerned for his mental state. Today, we're going to look at the latest one … but be warned, it's super graphic and disturbing. 1. Yikes David is really just falling apart these days. 2. Well … And we know, we know, by saying that we’re saying that he used to have himself together at some point in time, but it’s true — you know he was at least a little better than this in the past. 3. There was perhaps no greater star in the food world, and no more unique an individual around. 2. Aretha Franklin Arguably the greatest singer EVER, Franklin died in August after a brave battle against cancer. 3. John McCain The heroic U.S. senator lost his battle with brain cancer at the age of 81. May he rest in peace. 4. Kate Spade Kate Spade is pictured here back in 2008. The designer very sadly killed herself years later at the age of 55. 5. Mark Salling Mark Salling took his own life. The Glee star was 35. 6. Jerry Van Dyke May Jerry Van Dyke rest in peace. Jenelle Evans will never, ever learn. “What won’t she learn?” you may be wondering to yourself, if you’re not overly familiar with Jenelle Evans. The answer, dear friends, is “literally anything.” Jenelle has been acting a fool on television for years and years at this point, and while she does change from time to time, she never gets better. Back in the day, she smoked too much weed and ditched her son, Jace, with her mother, who she treated like garbage. After that, she got into several abusive relationships and developed an addiction to heroin. She had another kid, Kaiser, with another jackass, even though she still hadn’t gotten back custody of Jace. And when that relationship went south, as they always do, she hooked up with David Eason shortly after, and now here we are. In the darkest of times. Since she’s been with David, she’s slowly turned into a gun-loving Trump supporter with aggression problems and a knack for picking fights at any given opportunity . So basically, she’s turned into David. The problem is that David himself has been getting worse and worse as time goes on. When he and Jenelle started dating, he was a lot like her previous guys — he had a couple of restraining orders against him, and he’d spent some time in the local jail. But now he’s he’s being investigated by the Secret Service for seemingly threatening the president’s life, so … There was a bit of a jump there, yeah. See, so much of David and Jenelle’s descent into madness has had to do with guns. The Secret Service mess, that time she nearly got herself killed by following a stranger home and pulling a gun on him because of road rage … The list goes on, but boy, do these people not know how to be responsible gun owners. And that’s why a lot of people don’t really love the fact that they gave Jace a gun for Christmas. Yeah, it’s a toy gun, and that’s a lot better than getting him an assault rifle just like his stepdaddy’s . Lots of kids have toy guns, but lots of kids don’t have David Eason as a parental figure, you know? But in addition to gifting the toy gun, David also shared a video of Jace shooting a real gun on Snapchat yesterday. For Teen Mom fans, none of these things are good ideas. Over on Twitter, one person wrote that she was “concerned” that everything that’s been going on “is going to give Jace ideas on how they might become proud of him if he does something with these guns.” “Don’t get me wrong, I’m pro gun, but under the right circumstances,” another person said. “These are NOT the right circumstances.” “I could see when J & D get in a huge fight, Jace going to get one of David’s guns, loading it and shooting David to protect Jenelle.” Someone else tweeted “If I was Barb I would not let Jace go over and I’d take it to court, she has primary custody & gets to make the decision if he can handle a gun or not.” “David is not stable and I’m sorry but Jace has to have psychological issues going on with all this sh-t in his life.” There are tons and tons of concerns with pretty much everything going on in Jenelle’s home, but this really is a huge one. Even if Barbara, who does have full custody of Jace , is fine with him shooting guns and playing with toy guns, it’s sort of surprising she’s not taking action after the whole Secret Service mess. As it turns out, we may have had our eye on the wrong set of eyes this past Christmas morning. During the Walk Watched and Analyzed Around the World early Tuesday, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton strolled side by side into a church in Sandringham. It was the first time the public saw the dueling Duchesses out and about together since rumors of their rivalry started to run rampant around the Internet. Did they talk trash to one another? Did they air all their grievances? Did they laugh about all this silly and false chatter? We don’t know, we don’t know and we don’t know. We’re Totally Best Friends! But now we’ve learned that Kate may have been perfectly cordial to Markle as they strolled toward their destination on Christmas. Her husband, however? Well… At one point, according to an Instagram user who filmed an interaction between William and Meghan, the latter attempted to talk to her brother-in-law. But William was having no part of it. He “seemingly ignored her [and] tried to fix his scarf,” writes OK! Weekly, which adds that “Meghan turned away with a hurt look on her face and she took the hand of her husband, Prince Harry” in response to the diss. Ouch . Fans took note of this tension-filled non-exchange and commented on the video mentioned above. “William does not want to talk with Meghan. He looked at her so strangely (contemptuously). I even felt sorry for Megan,” remarked one individual. Added another: “It is just sad to see division between them. They have always had each other’s back.” Truth be told, this is not the first time we heard of a rift between William and Meghan . According to a Daily Mail report in early December, Prince Charles arranged for a gathering at his home about a year ago, during which time William voiced his concerns about his brother marrying Markle. This allegedly led to a “ghastly row” between the famous quartet of Willam, Harry, Kate and Meghan. Elsewhere, there’s also been talk that Harry and William are at odds because William has never fulled embraced Harry’s wife. And he’s never been shy about this disdain, either. “Other members of the royal family also expressed their unease about their relationship,” said an Entertainment Tonight source a few weeks ago, adding: “But Harry was steadfast and absolutely besotted with Meghan.” That’s good at least. We’re glad Harry is standing up for his better half. The question now is whether the forthcoming Royal Baby will make things better… or worse? Will it bring everyone togther and make them realize they’ve been acting petty? Or will a new life simply stir up more tension and hard feelings between all involved? Bird Box took Netflix by storm over the holidays. In the film, Sandra Bullock is one of the survivors of a worldwide phenomenon in which treachurous entities inflict madness upon people who see them. To survive, she and the others — including two children — blindfold themselves almost all of the time. She also takes a box of birds small birds with her. The birds alert her when the entities are nearby. Viewers were haunted by what they saw. Even celebrities were not immune. Others were merely perplexed or critical. And a lot of them were downright thirsty. Take a look: 1. Let’s start with the Crowned Queen of Twitter Chrissy Teigen could just as easily have had this nightmare after watching Netflix’s The Dragon Prince, if fan theories are correct, but she makes it very clear that this deeply anxious dream came from Bird Box. 2. She watched the film as a mother Children in peril can be a powerful motivator for audiences — thoughs some see it as a cheap and manipulative tactic, others see it as a vital component of telling a good suspense story. 3. Chrissy’s no stranger to horror, either Even devoted horror fans have their weaknesses, and Bird Box got to Chrissy. 4. There’s a lot to process Sometimes examining a story for what appears to be problems with worldbuilding can be a welcome distraction from absolute terror. For Zelda Williams and John Legend, it’s also just part of consuming media. 5. Movies can stay with you Clearly, Chrissy is still recovering. 6. Jon Gosselin just took a very passive aggressive dig at his ex-wife. This isn’t exactly new, of course, considering all Jon and Kate have said about each other over the years. In this case, however, Jon used one of the former couple’s children to slam Kate where it likely hurts the most. For years, as loyal celebrity gossip fans likely know, the public did not see much of Collin Gosselin. The young teenager wasn’t even included in his own birthday party because, presumably, he was away at a facility that assisted children with special needs. We’re just quoting Kate herself for this diagnosis. “Collin has special needs,” the TLC star told People Magazine in August of 2016. She added at the time: “[There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. “This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. I’ve felt very alone in this. “By the same token, it’s not something that has only impacted me or him – our entire family has been impacted.” Fair enough certainly, right? We’ve written very little on this subject and simply been wishing Collin the best. HOWEVER, Jon now has custody of Collin . He filed for custody several weeks ago and was then rewarded with full-time temporary custody of the 14-year old after Kate did not show up at a court hearing. Having talked openly about having Collin to himself at home and having shared a few photos of himself and his son, Jon responded this week to a question about Collin. “I’d love to know if he actually has ‘special needs,’ or if he just didn’t deal [with] Kate’s BS like we all suspect. Either way, he’s home! And he looks happy,” wrote an Internet users to Jon, who responded as follows: He is not on any spectrum or special needs . That’s quite the statement, really. Why has Collin been away from his family for two years in this case? Is Jon legitimately arguing that Kate is simply full of it and that Collin wanted to get as far away from his mother as possible? AND that Kate lied all this time about her child’s state of mind? Those are pretty wild accusations. As you can see above, Jon spent Christmas with kids Collin and Hannah, the latter of whom has been living with her dad all year, yet who is still under the legal custody of her mother. The kids and their dad also hung out with Jon’s girlfriend, Colleen, and her children. Kate, for her part, did not release any holiday photos and has not commented on this ugly custody situation in a very long time. But she has defended her decision to send Collin away on multiple occasions. “It was not even a really a choice, it was on the advice of his doctors and it had to happen,” she said on a November 2016 episode of ABC’s Nightline, concluding back then: “He’s plodding along and we are too. This is the best thing I can do for him right now and that comforts me.”
While Scott Disick flaunting his relationship with Sofia Richie has caused some problems in the past, things with Kourtney Kardashian are okay these days. Actually, it’s better than okay, since he went with his girlfriend and ex to vacation in Cabo with their kids. This is just the beginning — because the three of them are set to appear in a brand new reality series. RadarOnline has huge news for Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans … and for anyone else who likes drama. Apparently, Kourtney and Scott are gearing up for their very own spin-off that will cover their dating lives. The insider says that it will be the “most intriguing soap opera or spinoff plotline of KUWTK right now.” That makes sense — it’s been a little while since we last saw a new spinoff. But between Scott’s romance with Sofia Richie and Kourtney’s various dating adventures, it’s sure to catch people’s attention. If you’ve been following Scott’s social media, you know that he and Kourtney and Sofia all vacationed together in Cabo. They did it for the kids … but it looks like a certain momager knew that it would be great fodder for viewers, too. “Kris wouldn’t not let this be filmed,” the source reveals. She made sure that cameras were following them on vacation “because it will be great for ratings.” Kris Jenner is an absolute wonder. Sofia and Kourtney have both been reportedly at odds with each other at one time or another. Kourtney was said to feel a little weirded out that a then-19-year-old was playing stepmom to her kids. Sofia was reportedly feeling a little insecure about Scott’s co-parenting relationship with his extremely hot ex. They have a lot of history. These days, however, they’re doing much better together. The source says of Sofia: “she is actually getting a kick out of seeing Scott try to keep his cool right now.” Scott is the guy vacationing with his kids, his girlfriend, and his ex. “It is hilarious to her,” the inside adds. “And she knows it will be great for next season.” When it comes to this spin-off, it sounds like everyone who needs to agree has already done so. Sofia is said to be “on board.” As for Scott? Well, sources say that “he won’t be given much of a choice.” It may be part of his Keeping Up With The Kardashians contract, or that line may simply refer to family pressure. Can you imagine resisting Kris Jenner’s will? I can’t. This will be a great opportunity for branding for this couple — and will also help them make some cash. Scott’s dating life these days is all about Sofia, and has been for over a year. (Can you imagine if he’d had cameras following him everywhere in 2017, especially in Cannes?) But Kourtney isn’t quite tied down in the same way. “Kourtney will be able to include a ton of new characters,” the source points out. For example, the insider notes, men “like her boytoy, Luka Sabbat.” Kourt’s neighborly friend who has also been a romantic interest, Travis Barker, will apparently be part of the arrangement, too. Kourtney, Scott, Sofia, and Kourtney’s guy pals won’t be the only ones getting some camera time. The source shares that the spin-off will feature “a ton of behind-the-scenes assistance and hangers on.” These are people “who don’t get much airtime on the main show.” That sounds like an amazing opportunity for them.
