She has never been shy about wanting to be taken care of, financially. Or about her disappointment when learning that Jorge is not as wealthy as she had believed. 90 Day Fiance viewers have seen Anfisa strike Jorge on camera , so “controversial” is a bit of an understatement for this couple. Though the two of them did get married, it appeared at the 90 Day Fiance tell-all special that Anfisa and Jorge were parting ways. Kris Jenner is in love. With her latest grandhchild? Sure, we assume so. We can’t imagine why she wouldn’t be. But even more so with the marketing opportunity afforded to Jenner and her family as a result daughter Kylie naming her child… Stormi. Yes, Stormi. Stormi Webster, to be exact. We’re still not over that. But while most of the free world wonders why Kylie and baby daddy Travis Scott would hand down such a moniker to their newborn, Kris Jenner sees something other than controversy affixed to this name: She sees dollar signs. According to a Hollywood Life insider, the family matriarch has already taken the necessary steps to profit off her granddaughter’s name. “Kris is busy at work on the new name,” this source explains, adding: “She has her legal team already trademarking the name and locking up all the social media accounts for Stormi. “The grandma and super-momager is happy with the pick because, despite not being a K name, she still thinks it’s great for marketing.” You can tell this quote comes from a real person because no made-up source would use the term “super-momager.” Only real people talk that way, of course. This same report alleges that all of Kylie’s loved ones “love” the name Stormi, which is the complete opposite of what we had heard previously . Just last week, Radar Online wrote that family members find the name to be “ridiculous” and: “They just think that it sounds too depressing and it isn’t fit for a little girl.” This may be the case, but no one can deny that Stormi is unique. And when you’re looking to capitalize off a name, originality is nearly everything. Why else do you think Kim Kardashian named her kids North, Saint and Chicago? It certainly isn’t because those are quality names, right? Kim Cattrall was known on Sex and the City for portraying a character who always spoke her mind. And it’s now evident that that the role of Samantha Jones was a bit of type-casting, considering the simple and direct share Cattrall just hurled in the direction of a former co-star. In a very straightforward Instagram message shared on Saturday morning, for ex-HBO star addressed Sarah Jessica Parker, the former lead on the series that made both women very rich and very famous. “My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?” opened Cattrall on social media. She then set her sights specifically on Parker and wrote: “Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already): ” You are not my family. You are not my friend. “So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.” The bold up above is our own because thought these words required emphasis. There had long been rumored tension between Cattrall and Parker, dating back to when the actress co-starred on Sex and the City the TV show. They put aside their differences for many seasons, however, and then also through a pair of movies. But everything blew up publicly last fall after Parker told Extra that a script had been penned for Sex and the City 3 and that everyone was on board to film… … except for Cattrall. She referred to this hold out as “disappointing.” Cattrall then took exception to Parker taking her beef public, considering Kim says she was never, ever open to shooting another movie. She held no bitter feeling. She even encouraged producers to find another actress for Samantha. She had simply moved on — and here was Parker, taking her to task for simply making a personal and professional decision. “At this very moment it’s quite extraordinary to get any kind of negative press about something that I’ve been saying for almost a year of ‘no’ that I’m demanding or a diva,” Cattrall told Piers Morgan in an interview last October, adding of Parker in particular: “And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, in that I think she could have been nicer.” So it was obvious at that time that the stars weren’t very close. But then Cattrall’s brother went missing and was eventually found dead . In response to the tragedy, Parker wrote the following on Instagram: Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx . This appears to be the basis for Cattrall’s latest message. She feels as though Parker wasn’t being sincere, pretending as if she and Cattrall were good friends when, in reality, they are anything but. Wrote Cattrall shortly after she learned of her brother’s death: “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. “At this time we ask for privacy but we want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time.” Did Parker mean well with her Instagram reply to this confirmation? Or was she exploiting the sad situation for PR sake, to make it look like she’s a caring individual when, according to Cattrall, there’s no relationship of any kind about which Parker should care. It’s clear on which side of this debate Cattrall falls. And it’s also now VERY clear that there will no Sex and the City 3, not with Cattrall as Jones at least. Just four days ago, Logan Paul returned from hiatus with more followers than he had before his shameful “suicide forest” controversy, in which he filmed and mocked a suicide victim . A million new followers does not amount to a lesson learned. And Logan Paul just filmed himself doing something else awful and disturbing. This time, YouTube has taken action by suspending all advertising from his channel. Towards the end of Logan Paul’s video in which he announced his return to vlogging, he bragged about his increase in followers: “I know for a fact everything I do from this point on will get criticism, it will get backlash, because I’m a very polarizing dude. You either love me, or you hate me.” He forgot to mention that some people are blissfully unaware of his existence. “So internet, please, use me, bro. Crucify me, vilify me, and I can promise you one thing, guys. I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to be here for a minute.” That is: One, not the first time that he’s referred to criticism of his unconscionable behavior and compared it to the literal crucifixion of Jesus . Two, straight out of the monologue of an insufferable anime villain. For reasons that we cannot begin to fathom — because surely, even if he wanted controversy, he should have known to wait a couple of weeks — Logan Paul filmed himself tasering a dead rat. He shows himself finding a couple of dead rats on his porch. (Which is obviously massively suspicious; how many mansions have dead rats show up? We don’t see neighborhood cats leaving them as gifts ) He then repeatedly tasered one of the dead bodies. It’s always reassuring to see a privileged man taking out his violent impulses on dead animals. That’s one of the signs of a healthy mind, right? So, obviously, it’s in poor taste and is massively inappropriate. The fact that this is right on the heels of his video in Japan’s infamous “Suicide Forest” makes things even worse. After that first dreadful video in Japan, which was culturally insensitive and also just, like, objectively insensitive, Logan Paul faced consequences from YouTube. They reduced his cut of advertising revenues. Now, however, YouTube has taken things a step further by cutting off all of Logan Paul’s advertising. Being an obnoxious little s–t on camera while also being super handsome is how Logan Paul made his millions. Alot of that is merchandising, but he made seven figures in 2017 from advertising revenue alone. YouTube released a statement explaining why they had taken the drastic step of this suspension: “This is not a decision we made lightly.” Of course not. Logan Paul is a huge source of revenue for the streaming platform. Suspending his ads hurts them, too. Imagine if NBC stopped airing ads on This Is Us ? (But also imagine if Kevin Hartley were an insufferable little fame monster instead of the talented, handsome actor that he is) “We believe he has exhibited a pattern of behavior in his videos that makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers, but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community.” YouTube is right to be concerned about a ripple effect. If YouTube stars get a bad reputation (well, a worse reputation), parents might start limiting access to YouTube rather than taking a close look at who is just giving a makeup tutorial versus who is ruining lives for fun and money. Logan Paul was YouTube’s darling son, and now he’s hurting the brand so much that even his massive number of subscribers aren’t worth it. This suspension is temporary, however, and it looks like YouTube is hoping that he will mellow out. Unfortunately, when you reward a terrible young man’s behavior with fabulous wealth, it doesn’t exactly discourage him from being obnoxious. Is Logan Paul even capable of learning his lesson now? He’s not a child, folks. Or will he return after this suspension ends with some new terrible stunt to feed his martyrdom complex?
Tyga is in the middle of promoting a new album, of this we have no doubt. But is he also in the process of courting Kylie Jenner? This is the question many Internet users are being forced to ponder. Over the past couple weeks, numerous reports have claimed that the rapper isn’t exactly ready to leave his ex-girlfriend alone. Even though she’s now dating Travis Scott. And even though she just gave birth to Travis Scott’s baby. Toward the end of January, for example, a source alleged that Tyga was desperate to get back together with Kylie . And even more recently, an insider claimed that Tyga is demanding a paternity test because he thinks he may be Stormi Webster’s biological father. (We’re not sure here which is funnier: that rumor… or the name Stormi Webster .) Tyga, meanwhile, has been updating his Instagram page frequently over the past several days. Nearly every post includes a photo of himself and a mysterious caption, one that some believe was written with Jenner in mind. To wit: All I wanted was to talk to u , Tyga wrote along with the image above. Pretty straightforward, right? Pretty clear how some could interpret this as a message to Kylie, no? The artist does, of course, also include the hashtags “#Temperature #Kyoto” with each caption, referring to his first single off the upcoming album and the album itself, respectively. So there’s clearly a push at work here for followers to get psyched to hear new Tyga music. But the semi-talented rapper also wrote the following as a caption to the second picture shared above: I been waitin right here, Still I been everywhere. Those words seem like they truly could apply to Kylie. As cited in this very article, there’s been constant chatter that Tyga is just waiting for Jenner’s relationship with Scott to fall apart; waiting to swoop in and be right there for the supposed love of his life. Finally, Tyga asks a question along with this third image. Is this what u need to feel better? This one is a little more vague. Does Kylie need a shirtless Tyga staring intensely at her right now in order to feel better? Probably not. She probably just needs a good night’s sleep, considering the patterns of a newborn and everything. Tyga and Kylie dated for about two years prior to breaking in late 2016. Said Jenner during a scene from her terrible E! reality show last summer: “There was absolutely not one thing wrong with me and T. Him and I will always, always have a bond. There was no crazy fight. “We just decided, well, I decided that I’m really young. “I don’t want to look back five years from now and feel like he took something from me when he’s really not that type of person.” That’s fair. Lydia McLaughlin has an announcement to make. And it’s an announcement you may have heard her make before. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member took to her official blog on Friday and confirmed that she will no longer be a Real Housewives of Orange County cast member “RHOC has given me a great platform and I’m grateful for that. However, I feel like I can only handle this show one season at a time,” McLaughlin wrote online, adding: “I need a break! There is a lot of good that comes from the show, but also a lot of negativity. “After a family vote, it was unanimous that I should take a break. Sometimes the people who love us the most see things even we don’t see. “I trust my path and I’m excited for what the future holds.” Indeed, McLaughlin initially joined this Bravo franchise in season 8. She departed the cable network hit just before season 9, yet returned last year as a full-time cast member for season 12. Earlier this year, it was also reported that Meghan King Edmonds would not return to Orange County for next season. She swears this was her decision. And McLaughlin insists the same. “Bravo and Evolution have been amazing to me and I have made great friendships,” she continued on her blog, expounding: “I treasure all my fans and appreciate all the love and support. “I’ve been honored to be a source of entertainment and inspiration to all of you and I hope to continue spreading light and love. “Being a full time mom to THREE little boys, publisher of NOBLEMAN Magazine, blogger, jewelry designer, author, and wife, I have a lot going on! “I will continue to share my life and faith and use this platform to be a lightworker.” In other words: we haven’t heard the last from Lydia McLaughlin.
