The ex-husband of this Teen Love veteran took to Twitter on Friday and laid the proverbial smackdown on the mother of his won, blasting Lowry in a series of harsh messages. They share a son named Lincoln and have each accused the other of infidelity in the several months since they split. 2. Kailyn is Always Around, Though Even while she celebrated her love for Javi, Briana recently Tweeted “#yeaididwin,” a clear reference to somehow coming out on top over Lowry in the (non) battle for Javi’s heart. There’s clearly tension between all involved here. 4. Cue Javi’s Tweet Storm… “Someone’s bitter and can’t move on from s—t that happened almost two years ago,” the ex-reality star tweeted, adding the hashtags #yesterdayspaper #MarriageBootCamp and #moveon. 5. But He Wasn’t Finished Citing four-year old Lincoln, Marroquin added: “Have more important things to worry about right now than a past relationship that’s dead to me. Jana Kramer has opened up about something both very personal and very painful: She has suffered a miscarriage. The former One Tree Hill star and country artist shared a photo on Instagram Saturday of herself holding an ultrasound photo. She then explained the basis for the image and detailed all she had recently gone through. Out of respect for Kramer, we’ll just go ahead and share her message in its entirety, word-for-heartbreaking-word… 1-3 Today I am 1-3. I debated posting this for the exact reason why it’s a silent struggle. I don’t want I’m sorry or sympathy. I just don’t want to feel alone. And I know I’m not. This unfortunately isn’t my first loss. When I first found out I was pregnant I wanted to shout it from the rooftop but I know for reasons like this we have to wait. So because we don’t tell many, we have to suffer silently…and suffering silently was my thing in the past, but it’s not now. For the women out there who have miscarried in the past and need support and a place to grieve their little one lost or to those in the thick of it like me who are currently grieving and in pain, let us all be there for each other. You don’t need to feel alone and maybe that’s me talking to myself but if you need a place to share, I’m here for you…and all of us are (and guys too. As previously noted, the couple separated shortly afterward due to Caussin’s infidelity . He then entered rehab. Kramer said in September that she was forced to address the cheating and the separation after word leaked online, but that she and Caussin have remained dedicated to making their marriage work. “There are days where I’m like, ‘I’m done, I cannot do this anymore,'” she said this fall on Olivia Caridi’s podcast, elaborating: “And that was like a week ago. And then I’m like, ‘No. Keep fighting.’ I look at my baby girl and I’m like, ‘I’m going to keep fighting.’ “Because I see him trying too. So that’s why we never released a statement because I don’t want to ever be like, ‘Oh, we’re great and in love.’ “We’re working on it. We’re in the trenches. Back in October, Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney revealed how she was molested by her team doctor , Larry Nassar. In November, teammate Aly Raisman added her name to the list of over 140 young women with their own stories of abuse in the guise of medical care by Dr. Nassar. On Thursday, Larry Nassar was sentenced — not for sex abuse, but for child pornography charges. Dr. Larry Nassar, who is 54 years old, has been in prison while awaiting sentencing. During that time, McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman revealed that Dr. Nassar had molested them , sharing their heartbreaking #MeToo stories with the world. Like so many others, these Olympic superstars describe Dr. Nassar, at the time their team doctor, administering “treatments” to them under the guise of medical practice. Olympic athletes (and others) often require legitimate therapies such as massage. Nassar, it is described, would use these as opportunities to molest the young girls who had been entrusted to his care. These monstrous deeds are evil to their core and unforgivable. But, though Nassar has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual assault (a drop in the bucket compared to the number of accusers), it is not for these heinous crimes that he’s been sentenced. Larry Nassar was on trial for possession of child pornography. How much child pornography ? … asked virtually no one. He was found to have come into possession of 37,000 images that constitute child pornography. That almost certainly means that he was collecting photos of very real children who are victims or who were victims. Awful on its own, particularly if he then shared those images or in any way financially compensated the ones who gave them to him. Dr. Nassar was also accused of trying to destroy those images in order to avoid being held accountable for possessing child pornography. His sentence: 60 years in federal prison. Federal Judge Janet Neff explained (though she really didn’t need to) her reasoning behind the decision: That Larry Nassar “should never again have access to children.” We strongly agree. Possibly influencing the judge’s decision were impact statements from Nassar’s many victims, including McKayla Maroney. “Dr. Nassar was not a doctor, he in fact is, was, and forever shall be, a child molester, and a monster of a human being.” Agreed. “It all started when I was 13 or 14 years old, at one of my first National Team training camps, in Texas, and it didn’t end until I left the sport.” That is a nightmare. “It seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, I was ‘treated.’ It happened in London before my team and I won the gold medal, and It happened before I won my Silver Medal.” Awful. “For me, the scariest night of my life happened when I was 15 years old. I had flown all day and night with the team to get to Tokyo.” This is not new information, and matches what she disclosed months ago. But that doesn’t mean that it was any easier for her to write. “He’d given me a sleeping pill for the flight, and the next thing I know, I was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a ‘treatment.’ I thought I was going to die that night.” McKayla’s mother, Erin Maroney, also gave an impact statement about how this traumatic experience changed her daughter’s life. “This experience has been shattering to McKayla.” Of course it was. “She has transformed from a bubbly, positive, loving, world class athlete into a young adult who was deeply depressed, at times suicidal and essentially descended into an emotional abyss.” Abusing a child is a tragedy that can never be undone. They can heal, but they’ll never recover the formative years that they lost to trauma. “At times I was unsure whether I would open her bedroom door and find her dead.” We are eternally grateful that this monster’s abuses did not claim McKayla’s life. “Her father and I have been living this nightmare for years and until recently we felt hopeless. Nassar and those individuals and institutions that protected him almost snuffed out my daughter.” Michegan State University is accused of having helped to cover up Larry Nassar’s crimes. It's been over two years since Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer and her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, got divorced. The split was an ugly one, and the two have clashed more than a few times since calling it quits – on and off camera. Yet even as they've dated other people (Jeremy was even engaged to Brooke Wehr), rumors of reconciliation persisted. Leah and Jeremy may have divorced, and obviously had a great many issues, but never fully moved on from one another. And now, there's even more reason to believe the parents of 4-year-old Adalynn are still harboring romantic feelings for one another. A Dark Time Around the time of their split, Leah allegedly developed an addiction to prescription painkillers. She later checked into a rehab facility to be treated for her condition. 4. Kidding Around It was around this time that rumors of Messer cheating on Calvert with ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd began to circulate on social media. 5. On to the Next One In November of 2014, Jeremy declared that he was “done” with Leah and began flirting with models on Instagram. 6. Even in 2017, this story was positively surreal. Just two days after straight porn star August Ames made waves with her controversial and homophobic statements, she died by suicide at the age of 23 . It was mysterious, strange, and sad. And now we know exactly how she died. August Ames, whose real name was Mercedes Grabowski, was a straight porn actress whose homophobic tweet and ensuing defense of it made the rounds earlier this week. It all started with a tweet of hers: “Whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @ EroticaXNews , you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know.” “BS is all I can say [shrug emoji] Do agents really not care about who they’re representing? # ladirect I do my homework for my body.” So, what she’s clearly saying here is that she believes that gay men, bi men, or a straight man who has had sex with a man for money is more likely to have secretly contracted an STI. Plenty of male porn actors have sex with people they wouldn’t choose to date – money is money after all. However, the porn industry tests its performers regularly – particularly those who film bareback, as most of them do. This is a complicated issue, because as August Ames said herself while defending herself on Twitter, it’s her body and her choice. Which is fine. Being a sex worker does not in any way negate your bodily autonomy or grand automatic consent or whatever. You know what’s not fine? Bigotry. Some sex workers refuse to do scenes with a man who’s had sex with a man. Some sex workers refuse to do scenes with black men. That’s their right. In both cases, though, it sure looks a lot like prejudice. And the assumption that a man who has done gay porn is more likely to be diseased than someone else, well, that reeks of some anti-gay beliefs. Her tweet was further complicated by the fact that she was “warning” some unknown other woman, as if she believed that all women shared her prejudiced belief. “don’t have anything to apologize for!” she tweeted. “Apologizing for taking extra steps to ensue that my body stays safe?” Obviously, she would not have faced this kind of backlash if she were just a performer who always had her costars wear condoms (though that can be a career-killer). It’s because he “precautions” were so targeted that she was controversial. “F–k you guys attacking me when none of my intentions were malicious. I f–king love the gay community!” Given her other tweets, people read that as “I love these disease-prone, untrustworthy folks!” “What the f–k ever! I CHOOSE who I have inside my body. No hate.” A lot of people wanted for her to understand that her views did not reflect reality and that her beliefs were mistaken. Though some of the responses to her tweets were extreme, the vast majority did not want her to die . Unfortunately, on Tuesday, December 5th, news broke that August Ames had died at the age of 23. 23 is young — young enough that she could have later grown and realized the error of her beliefs. She’s not the first to have some problematic opinions at 23? For a little perspective, we’re talking about a woman who was probably too young to have told you where she was and what she was doing on 9/11. August died by suicide, but the circumstances and manner of her death were unknown. Until now. HollywoodLife reports that the The Ventura County Medical Examiner Media spokesperson shared August Ames’ cause of death : “Mercedes Grabowski died of asphyxia due to hanging. [The] manner is suicide.” That is the medical examiner’s determination. The toxicology report (those never get finished as quickly as they do on police procedurals) has yet to come back, and may be illuminating regarding Ames’ state of mind. We can only assume that the backlash played a role in her mental state before she took her own life. She’ll be missed by fans, fellow adult performers, and of course by her friends. Her husband, Kevin Moore, has asked for privacy as he mourns his wife. Whatever anyone may think of August Ames’ statements, this is a tragedy. A young woman lost her life. Many people lost a friend and loved one. And the important discussion about STIs, homophobia, and sex workers? That will wait for another time.
In July, Chester Bennington committed suicide . The loss of the Linkin Park frontman was felt across the music industry, as various artists and stars reacted in shock to Bennington tragically hanging himself at home. The singer had struggled with depression and addiction throughout his life, largely related to being sexually abused as a child. Still, those close to the star say there were no signs of sadness or hints of suicidal tendencies leading up to his death. However, the recent release of a toxicology report proved that drugs and alcohol were in Bennington’s system when he killed himself. Moreover, TMZ reported on Wednesday that Bennington had previously attempted suicide . In November of last year, the singer got wasted… hog-tied his own arms and legs… and leaped into his pool in an attempt to drown himself. Insiders told the celebrity gossip site that this incident was redacted from the original coroner’s report at the request of Bennington’s widow, Talinda. Which makes sense, right? Why expose such a horrible story to Bennington’s children? The coroner’s office was reportedly split on whether they could or should redact such information, but Talinda cited “marital privilege” as the basis for her ask. It was originally fulfilled, but then TMZ went ahead and revealed the significant tidbit anyway. And Talinda is understandably PISSED about the article. After the retracted information was made public, Talinda Tweeted the following: “Fun fact- When your husband dies by suicide, the LA County Coroner’s office will PARAPHRASE your private conversation with them to dramatize and sensationalize the story and then SCUMBAG FILTH like TMZ post it for the world to feast on. “It was redacted to protect all the kids!” Holding nothing back, Bennington’s widow added: “And now I get to go pull my 11 yr old out of school- because all the kids can use their phones at lunch-to be the first to tell him what REALLY happened in Nov. “Thanks again to SCUMBAG reporting. FUCK YOU TMZ.” The autopsy – which was NOT released in full over the summer – stated Bennington’s official cause of death was suicide by hanging. It added that the Linkin Park singer had a “history of suicidal ideation.” The document also detailed an account of Bennington drunkenly threatening to kill himself in 2006, prior to leaving his house with a gun. It will be interesting to see if TMZ’s actions affect its traffic or bottom line at all. Because many Twitter users are quite peeved at the outlet. To wit: The duty of good journalists isn’t to make news for making money on someones tragedy. @TMZ journalists, screw you, do you have a family???? Do you have parents, friends, childeren? Brad Pitt really wants his marriage with Angelina Jolie to be over. And the actor is willing to put his money where his mouth is. Like, A LOT of money where his (very handsome) mouth is. According to Life & Style, Pitt is anxious to put his failed marriage behind him, but Jolie is dragging her feet on signing the final papers. In response, Pitt has advised his attorney to sweeten the settlement pot. By a significant amount. “In hopes of getting Angie to sign off on the divorce, Brad started throwing huge financial settlement offers at her lawyer,” a source tells the aforementioned tabloid. Thus far, however, Pitt has been unsuccessful… despite trying really hard. “Angie has rejected every single offer, including the most recent one, for $100 million,” this same source says. Wait, WHAT?!? Pitt offered Jolie $100 million to complete the ex-couple’s divorce? And she didn’t take it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? We know Jolie isn’t exactly in need of money or anything, but there’s no saving this relationship. Why not just take the giant sum of money and run? In a new interview, Jolie does not address this rumor. But the 42-year old Oscar winner admits the stars she made their second project together (2015’s By The Sea) as a means to “communicate” with each other. Even back then, it was evident things were just a little bit off between the husband and wife. “We had met working together and we worked together well,” Jolie told The Hollywood Reporter‘s podcast, Awards Chatter, explaining this week: “I wanted us to do some serious work together, I thought it would be a good way for us to communicate. “In some ways it was, and in some ways we learned some things. “But there was a heaviness probably during that situation that carried on and it wasn’t because of the film.” That’s about as open as Jolie has been about the former romance since she filed for divorce from Pitt in September of last year. She cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing, asking for primary custody of the pair’s six kids: Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and 9-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. But Pitt wants joint custody and took exception early on to Jolie (or “sources,” we should say) labeling him as some kind of deadbeat dad who drank a lot. There was one specific incident of Pitt allegedly getting into it, while wasted, on board a private airplane with Maddox . The FBI even investigated the altercation, but did not come away with any evidence that any sort of child abuse had taken place. “Brad felt he was depicted as an alcohol-swilling, pot-smoking, irresponsible and abusive husband and father — and that it was largely Angelina’s doing,” Life & Style writes. As a result, Pitt has no interest in taking Jolie back, even if she were to come crawling. Writes the magazine: “Brad feels too much damage has been done and she’s tormented him for too long to consider taking her back. Guess who’s pregnant! Kenya Moore’s marriage has been controversial for her career in more ways than one. And recently, it’s looked like Kenya and Marc Daly might be headed for divorce . But the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is reportedly pregnant! That welcome blessing might solve at least one of her problems. Okay, so back in June (which feels like a few weeks ago but also like a decade ago, because 2017 is a nightmare that exists outside of normal time), we told you that Kenya Moore got married to Marc Daly . This was a bigger deal than usual … because the wedding was secret. Not just from the public, but from producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta . There was a very real chance that Kenya Moore could get fired for her secret wedding , because when you sign on to do a reality series about your life, producers don’t expect you to not only hide your wedding, but the fact that you’re planning to get married at all. To compound the problem, Marc Daly didn’t want to appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta . We don’t just mean his wedding — he, himself, did not want to appear on it. He believes that the series does not portray black men in a positive manner (he’s definitely not alone in that) and wants to take no part in it. And that’s a problem for Kenya, because it’s a problem for producers. See, to be on a reality series, it takes a little more than feuding with Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann . You need an actual storyline. And that means your husband being on camera. Now, it’s turned out that Kenya’s found a storyline — Marc’s physical absence. He spends a lot of time in New York for business, but that is a stressful factor in his newlywed life with Kenya. It does, however, give Kenya something to talk about on camera. But now she has something else that’s much more positive to discuss: Industry on Blast reports that Kenya Moore is pregnant . Their report states that the 46-year-old and her husband are happy about the news, but that she’s waiting to announce it until she reaches a point at which she’s sure that her pregnancy can continue to term. (Miscarriages early into a pregnancy aren’t uncommon, and no one wants to make the joyful announcement and then have to follow it up) Reportedly, Kenya Moore received IVF treatments in Barbados over a period of a few weeks in order to conceive — many couples seek IVF, but particularly those who are concerned that age may be a factor. Congratulations are in order for this RHOA couple! And while a pregnancy can’t fix a marriage that’s on the rocks, it can solve Kenya’s other problem: If she’s pregnant, maybe Kenya Moore will no longer be pressured to prioritize her career over her husband . (Or vice versa) Because, honestly, who cares about somebody’s marriage when there’s an adorable baby on the way? There’s pregnancy storylines, childbirth storylines, and then newborn baby storylines! And remember how Kenya’s future on the series was uncertain? Krista Ball just wanted to bake something delicious for her family this holiday season. The Newfoundland, Canada native sent what she believed was a simple text message request to her mother recently, asking how to make her mother's beloved bread for her own immediate family. In break-up news that we presume she should have seen coming, Theresa Caputo has split from her husband of 28 years, Larry. The star of Long Island Medium and her soon-to-be-ex confirmed the split via a joint statement to People Magazine . It reads as follows: After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate. We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time. The couple are parents to a son named Larry Jr. and a daughter named Victoria. On an episode of the TLC reality series last month, Caputo admitted that she and Larry were going through “not such great times” and that there was a “strain” on their marriage. Astute fans, meanwhile, have noticed that Theresa and Larry have not appeared on each other’s social media pages in nearly a year. Said the 51-year old rumored psychic on the aforementioned installment: “I’ve changed and he has changed. “We’re both not happy and, you know, it’s hard to try to work through that. “It’s not easy for me to sit here and to talk about this, to talk about my feelings, to talk about how my marriage is, but you know, things do change.” In a moment of vulnerability, Caputo added: “I don’t understand it. I lay in bed, and I say to myself, ‘How did this happen? How did I get here?’” She concluded at the time: “This is a really hard time right now with Larry and I, and I don’t know what is going to happen. It’s just…it’s wearing on me.” But is the relationship really over? A source tells TMZ that there’s “room for a reconciliation in the future” and that things may not be totally over. Long Island Medium has been on the air since 2011. It takes place in Hicksville, New York and it features Caputo meeting with different kinds of clients, claiming she can speak to the dead and claiming she can predict their future. Larry, meanwhile, has not commented separately on the separation. But he did last week re-Tweet a fan who expressed support for the couple after seeing Theresa talk about their relationship troubles.
