Ed Sheeran was a last-minute addition to the 2017 Grammy Awards ' list of performers, but his effort Sunday night looked … effortless. Not in the sense that Ed didn't put in the effort, but the British singer-songwriter has a way of making it look easy on stage sometimes. Sheeran, 25, took the Grammy stage, having announced he was doing so just seven hours earlier, for a smooth, stripped-down performance. His loop-pedal roots are what launched Ed's popularity, and he showed that Sunday night with a rendition of “Shape of You.” It was a performance profound in its simplicity. An acoustic guitar, a keyboard and a couple of mics (which worked, unlike with Lady Gaga and Metallica ) were all he used last night. No in-ear monitors were employed, even. Ed is known for his casual style fashion-wise as well as personally and musically, and was true to that as well at the Grammys. Sporting a simple black t-shirt and jeans, he crushed the performance … and in the process, he unwittingly crashed a website. How did he pull that off, you ask? Sheeran's pedal board of choice, the Chewie II Monsta Looper, caused fascination among the millions of music fans tuning in to watch. As such, an influx of web traffic to Equipboard (dot) com caused the online database of music gear to display a 502 error after Ed played. Without getting too technical, the site got an arse-load of traffic thanks to Sheeran, and its servers became overloaded with the demand. Even more awesome considering that not even 24 hours prior, he was the musical guest performing on Saturday Night Live in NYC. Three thousand miles away. The 2017 Grammy Awards were Adele's night, with so many unforgettable moments attributed to her, it's hard to know where to start. Her tribute to the late George Michael stood out in particular, though, because of how she flubbed it – then recovered in amazing fashion. About a minute into her performance honoring the music icon, who died on Christmas 2016, Adele put a stop to it and asked for a re-do. She briefly cursed and asked the band to restart her rendition of “Fastlove, pt. 1,” saying she didn't want to mess this one up for Michael. Referring to the show's producer Ken Ehrlich, and the technical issues that plagued her performance last year, she said, “I'm sorry Ken.” “I know it’s live TV; I’m sorry I can’t do it again, like last year. I’m sorry for swearing. I’m sorry for starting again. Can we please start it again?” “I’m sorry … I cant mess this up for him. I’m sorry.” “I’m sorry for swearing! I’m really sorry. Sorry.” It was worth it. Adele went on to turn in a beautiful, stunning tribute, in which scenes from Michael's iconic career played on screen. You can watch it in its entirety below. She received a standing ovation – perhaps even bigger than the one that followed the show-opening Adele “Hello” Grammy performance . It was an unorthodox, but moving take on the track. “Adele chose to sing ‘Fastlove, pt. 1’ herself,” reveals an Adele source. “That was her pick. She really wanted to perform that song.” The song is normally mid-to-up-tempo, but given his recent passing at the age of 53, Adele's slower, orchestral version was perfect. Michael would have likely been touched by it. “He would smile and be so proud that this artist is performing this song,” James Corden, the host of the event, said of Adele's performance. Just as Bruno Mars honored Prince at the Grammy Awards, Michael received a fitting send-off after his life ended far too soon last year. Michael sold over 100 million records during his career, first as a teen idol and later as an introspective, boundary-pushing solo artist. The openly gay, two-time Grammy winner was an innovator in the studio and on stage, and a dedicated philanthropist in his personal life. It's no surprise that his legacy has touched so many brilliant performers across generations and around the world, this one among them. As for Adele, she won Album of the Year last night, though if you take her word for it, it was Beyonce who truly deserved to win the honor. “I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious, but my artist of my life is Beyoncé,” the 28-year-old singer told the audience. Clearly wanting to stay on the Beyhive's good side, she added: “This album to me, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental. It was so monumental and thought-out and so beautiful and soul-baring.” “We all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we appreciate that,” Adele told a beaming Beyonce Sunday. “All us artists here adore you. On Thursday night, a Twitter user with the handle @Principat0 sent a picture to O’Donnell of her face superimposed over that of Steve Bannon. This genius individual included a message with the image that reads: “A @Rosie picture is worth a thousand words.” O’Donnell quickly replied by writing “Exactly” and causing the photo to go viral. And here is that photo… For those in need of some background, here you go: O’Donnell was on to Donald Trump as the epitome of all things evil long before the rest of the world. Her feud with the President goes back many years, with Trump having called O’Donnell a “at pig , among many other insults, throughout their never-ending rivalry. Last weekend, meanwhile, Melissa McCarthy guest-starred on an episode of Saturday Night Live as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. The segment was viewed as hilarious and spot-on by viewers… and as cause for grave concern by those in the administration. The idea being that Trump’s main celebrity foil impersonating the man who most consider to be pulling Trump’s strings in office would be enough to drive the President legitimately insane. (Assuming he isn’t there already, that is.) It didn’t take long for this campaign to reach O’Donnell, who responded to the movement this week by Tweeting that she’s prepared to take one for the country. “I am here to serve,” Rosie wrote in response to those who want to see her as Bannon. She added of Alec Baldwin and McCarthy: “Alec has Trump. Melissa has Spice. I would need a few days to prepare. A week that started with awful news has concluded in the most positive manner possible for Jamie Lynn Spears. The sister of Britney has confirmed to social media followers that her eight-year old daughter, Maddie Aldridge, has been released from the hospital. And it looks like she was released in grand fashion. The little girl, of course, was involved in a very scary accident last Sunday . While driving around in a child’s ATV on her family’s property in Louisiana, Maddie swerved to avoid a drainage ditch. As a result, the vehicle flipped over and landed face-down in a pond. Jamie Lynn and husband Jamie Watson were watching their daughter at the time and raced over to rescue her. But they were unable to unfasten her seatbelt. Within minutes, paramedics were on the scene. They transported the unconscious little one to a nearby hospital, where Maddie was placed in serious condition and members of her family asked fans to pray. Including Britney . But that was then… and Jamie Lynn has so great news for everyone now: Maddie was released from hospital on Friday morning, getting a fancy ride home on a helicopter, no less. Watson shared the cute and inspiring photograph above today on Instagram. It features Jamie Lynn standing outside the helicopter, while a smiling Maddie rides shotgun. “Thanks to the amazing first responders, and medical teams at University and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA, we are headed home with our baby girl as she continues to recover,” he wrote as a caption, adding: “Above all else we are so thankful for each and every prayer, because we know that is what truly made the difference. Thank you again to everyone. “We are truly blessed.” On Tuesday, a Spears family representative released a statement saying Maddie was “awake and talking.” “Maddie continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely but it appears that she was not suffered any neurological consequences from the accident,” the statement read. Aunt Britney Spears then said on Wednesday the little girl was “making progress,” adding: “Thank you all for sending thoughts and prayers our way. Let’s all keep praying.” We’re so glad that Maddie is back home, resting comfortably and on the mend. It may be a little while until she’s her old self again, physically and mentally, but the situation looked pretty dire just a few days ago. We’ll continue to monitor this situation and we’ll continue to send our thoughts and prayers in the direction of the Spears family.

On Thursday night, San Francisco’s 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the suspension of the President's travel ban, which prevented people from seven mostly Muslim nations from entering the United States. The three judges, a mixture of Democrats and Republicans, voted unanimously against the administration. The Internet is losing its mind over an orange, ape-like figure that’s worth way, way too much money. But enough about Donald Trump, let’s focus on this Harambe-shaped Cheeto. In case you forgot, or somehow missed it, our nation’s finest meme-creators spent way too much of 2016 enamored with a late primate named Harambe. The former Cincinnati Zoo inhabitant gained immortality through tragedy after a toddler fell into his enclosure, and authorities made the difficult decision to kill Harambe out of fear that he might harm the child. From those unlikely beginnings, a legend was born: Social media couldn’t get enough of sarcastic tributes to the gorilla. Thousands promised to display their genitals in solidarity for reasons that remain unclear. And a truly embarrassing number of (hopefully) young folks registered write-in votes for Harambe in the 2016 presidential election. Just when you thought Harambe obsession couldn’t get anymore ridiculous, it went ahead and did exactly that, because this is 2017, and there’s no ridiculousness ceiling anymore. It seems an eBay user made an amazing discovery while enjoying a powdery, Trump-colored snack recently. Behold – the Harambe Cheeto: Yes, the above item was posted earlier this week, and bids immediately went through the roof. Britney Spears has spoken out for the first time since her niece got badly injured in an ATV accident. Over the weekend, Maddie Aldridge, the eight-year old daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, was involved in a very serious crash while on board one of these off-road vehicles. According to initial reports, Maddie was submerged under water for several minutes as a result of the incident. She lost consciousness and was air-lifted to a local hospital in Louisiana. TMZ had claimed at first that Maddie was on her way back from a hunting expedition at the time, but new information alleges that the little girl was actually driving her own ATV. She was gifted a vehicle known as a Polaris RZR 170 for her seventh birthday by her mom and sources say she was playing around in it when the accident occurred. Jamie Lynn was on the scene and frantically tried to unfasten her daughter’s seatbelt after the ATV flipped over and landed a pond. Paramedics arrived and successfully freed Maddie from her restraints. She is currently in stable but critical condition. This discrepancy is likely what a rep for the family was referring to when he released the following statement: “The details the media are reporting surrounding the incident regarding Jamie Lynn’s daughter Maddie are incorrect. “Right now the Spears family asks that everyone respect their privacy during this time and appreciates all the prayers and support for their family.” On Monday, Jamie Lynn and Britney’s dad didn’t offer any new details when speaking to Entertainment Tonight. “All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie,” Jamie Spears simply said . And now Britney is saying basically the same thing. Along with the following photo of adorable Maddie, Britney penned a caption on Instagram that included a heart emoji and read: “Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece.” People Magazine writes that the ATV accident took place around 3 p.m. on Sunday and that Britney has flown to be with her family in Louisiana. The police confirm that the crash took place on Jamie Lynn’s property and that her husband, Jamie Watson, also tried to rescue Maddie from the pond. After steering the vehicle to avoid running over a nearby drainage ditch, the young girl took a hard right and “overcorrected, causing the ATV to enter the pond,” states the police report, which adds: “The ATV and child were instantly submerged in the water right before their eyes.” Continues the report: “Within seconds the child’s mother, stepfather and other family members reached the pond, dove in and attempted to rescue the child to no avai. “The child was trapped and secured by the seatbelt and the ATV’s safety netting. “Within two minutes, Acadian Ambulance Services arrived and assisted in freeing the child from the cold waters.” It concludes: “This is an extremely tragic accident. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking you to keep this family in your constant prayers as they try to cope with this horrible incident. “We ask that you respect their privacy during this time of need.” Please join us in doing so.

As you probably recall if you watch Love & Hip online , Juju wrote about Yandy’s personal life in her tell-all. Yandy felt betrayed and it’s perfectly understandable why. Juju proved she was not the best person to have in her life. Juju, however, put the blame on Yandy and said that Yandy was making everything about her. When the pair finally met up, they came to blows once more. Juju was quick to point out that she did not reveal anything about Yandy in the book and that she was taking it to extremes. At first, this did not sit well with Yandy. However, after some more promises, Yandy agreed that she went too far and both women put their feud to bed. Elsewhere, Samantha, Kim and Erica got together to discuss Lil’ Mendeecees birthday party. The ladies were less than impressed that Yandy was not around to help, or even pay some money for the event. Eventually, Samantha decided it would be best to just plan the party herself and invite Yandy to the event. Later, she went to the prison to visit Mendeecees, but she was shocked to learn that he had blocked her mother and Erika from visiting the prison. She tried to question him, but Mendeecees was not in the mood to give out answers. Yandy met up with Samantha and the pair spoke about how much effort they have been putting in. We never really found out what went wrong for them, but Ashley felt there were still some feelings there. Things were going well and Rich even made it clear he had a hotel room. Rich is back, you guys! Finally, Yandy and Kimbella discussed the drama with Samantha. Kimbella said she would be going to the party, but Yandy was worried there would be even more drama. Jill Duggar Pregnancy Announcement In a short segment, Jill and Derick Dillard reminded us that they are also pregnant, and that their second baby would be another boy. Then it was more of the bachelor party, where Jinger discussed her upcoming first kiss, and her sisters shared their respective memories. Like Jill (but not Jessa), Jinger was prepared to do so in public, and while she worried that it might be a little “awkward,” she was excited. Perhaps that talk of Jinger Duggar breaking courtship rules was overblown. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth on the other hand … Jessa lamented Jinger’s wedding, not because of courtship rules, bit because she would be packing up and moving to Texas afterward. “That’s going to be really, really tough for me,” Jessa said, and it hard to blame her for being sad, living 12 hours away from her BFF. On a different note, Derick Dillard was the mascot, Pistol Pete, at OSU (they’re the Oklahoma State Cowboys), like his father before him. Taking a trip down memory lane in Stillwater, Ok., he took his mom, Jill and Israel around the campus, showing us all of his old haunts. Later, he donned the Pistol Pete costume one last time and headed out to entertain the fans, and we have to say, Der’s alter ego is fun. For Derick’s mom, it was emotional, remembering her own times there, like carving her initials with her late husband’s into wet pavement. OSU was also where she arrived at Derick’s dorm room unannounced to tell him his father had died of a heart attack when Der was 18. As we saw Israel knocking on the door of Derick’s old dorm room at the end of the night, his mom noted that they had come “full circle.” Indeed, and in a way, it’s a beautiful thing.
