Marcus Grimmie Breaks Silence on Sister Christina Grimmie’s Death With Heartbreaking Message

Friday night, Christina Grimmie was shot to death following a concert in a senseless act of violence by Kevin James Loibl .  The 22-year-old singer and former contestant on The Voice had a spirited heart and a promising career that was cut short by this disturbed individual. Further deaths and injuries might have occurred had it not been for her brother, Marcus Grimmie, who tackled Loibl upon witnessing the attack on his sister. During the struggle, Loibl turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. Marcus, who goes by Mark, has now broken his silence by posting a heartfelt message about his sister to Facebook. “Christina was more than my sister. She was a partner in life. A superstar. A goofball. Introverted. And a friend to everyone. Genuinely,” he wrote. “But above all…she was my baby sister. She loved the Lord and her family and was always there for me and I honestly don’t know what ill do without her.” Mark then humbly asked friends and fans to share memories they have of Christina to the page to honor her life. “But please, if you are reading this far, I would love all and any of you to post pics of you and her and/or memories you have of her down in the comments,” he shared. “I will cherish it forever and always. So please do that for me.” Christina Grimmie Auditions on The Voice “Thank you all so so much. The support has been crazy and I do feel a peace. I just don’t have any words. I love you all.” A friend of Christina’s, Ashly Nicole, told E! News that Mark and his sister were “as close as can be.” “He was the perfect brother to her and he became almost like a big brother to me too,” she said. “They were only a year apart and he would always talk about how he would do anything for her. She was his world. He cared about her so much.” The 27-year-old Loibl was a resident of St. Petersburg, Fla. and traveled two hours that evening specifically to murder Christina, according to officials. Brandi Glanville to Yolanda Foster: You Need to Get Some D—, Girl!

Yolanda Foster filed for divorce from husband David Foster in January, and her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Brandi Glanville thinks it’s time to get her groove back. In a new interview with People , Glanville shared a piece of advice she has for Foster. “I said, ‘Girl, you need to get out there and get some d!'” Glanville  told   the magazine. Girl has a point. But Foster wasn’t so into the idea. “And she was like, ‘No!’ So I said, ‘You can’t say that! I’m serious, it might make you feel better!'” she insisted.  “And she laughs at me. But she knows my intentions are good, I just say crazy sh*t,” said Glanville. Back in November, rumors swirled that Glanville was hooking up with Calum Best , her Famously Single co-star, but nothing seemed to come of it. Lately, folks have speculated that she’s involved with another co-star, Dean Sheremet. Glanville and Sheremet star together in another reality show (how many does she have?),  My Kitchen Rules , but they are linked more famously for being cheated on respectively by Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, who are now married. Christina Grimmie Dead; The Voice Alum Was 22

Another rising star has left us too soon, and in shocking fashion. Christina Grimmie, who placed in the top three on The Voice ‘s sixth season as part of Adam Levine’s team, was  shot and killed last night . Grimmie, who opened for the band Before You Exit at Plaza Live, died from gunshot wounds after performing at an Orlando, Fla., concert. She was just 22 years old. While signing autographs after the performance, she was approached by a man with two guns, according to People . The man shot the singer before being tackled by her brother. He then turned the gun on himself and took his own life. “The show ended at approximately 10 o’clock,” Orlando Sgt. Wanda Miglio said during a news conference early this morning. “After that they were selling merchandise and signing autographs. We know that the suspect walked up and shot Christina at that point.” “We know that her brother tackled the suspect and that’s when the suspect shot himself.” “Her brother is a hero for saving and stopping him from not hurting anyone else.” According to WFTV, fans tweeted from inside the venue after hearing six gunshots. Grimmie’s rep confirmed her death in an official statement to People: “It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord.” “She was shot at her show in Orlando, and unfortunately didn’t survive the gun shot wounds.” “We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning.” A GoFundMe page has been set up to aid her family. NBC tweeted their devastation after hearing about the incident. “We are heartbroken,” the network wrote.  “@TheRealGrimmie is a loved member of our family. Our thoughts are with her and her family. #PrayForChristina.” The Voice judge Blake Shelton responded to the news as well. “Just reading the same stuff y’all are at this point,” Shelton tweeted. “Can’t believe this..” No other details about the gunman’s motive are available at this time. Kevin James Loibl Identified as Christina Grimmie Murderer

Friday night, a gunman took the life of Christina Grimmie , a 22-year-old singer and finalist of The Voice season 6. The shooting took place just after a concert in Orlando, Fla., where Grimmie opened for the band Before You Exit.  Police have now identified the man as Kevin James Loibl, a 27-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, Fla. Officials believe Loibl traveled two hours to Orlando specifically with the intention of killing Grimmie. He was armed with two handguns and a hunting knife, according to authorities. Grimmie was signing autographs during a meet-and-greet after the show when Loibl approached and shot her. Grimmie’s brother Marcus tackled the gunman, who then shot and killed himself. However, suicide may not have been part of Loibl’s original plan. Police say Loibl had made plans to return to St. Petersburg after the show, suggesting he thought he might get away with murder. The singer was rushed to the hospital following the attack and later died of gunshot wounds. A motive is still unknown, but in a press conference Saturday morning, police said Loibl appeared to be a “deranged fan.” They say they are searching his phone and computer and hope to uncover more details shortly. Khloe Kardashian: Harrassed By Lamar Odom! Seeks Restraining Order!

She did right by him for halting divorce proceedings when he needed her most. Now, though, Khloe Kardashian has to take care of herself and her future, which doesn’t include Lamar Odom. After filing for a second time in May, Kardashian is trying to move the process along, but she’s hit a few roadblocks.   And they’ve all been put there by Odom. First, he wanted to get rid of their prior settlement and receive more money from Kardashian. The reality star is ticked off that Odom is being greend, and “plans to ask the judge to approve the same financial settlement she and Lamar previously signed off on.” This settlement, signed off on by both parties last summer (before Odom suffered an overdose in October), only includes the 50% each of the sale from their Tarzana home. Farrah Abraham: Looking for Love on Million Dollar Matchmaker!

If you were disappointed to see  The Millionaire Matchmaker  go off the air last year, we've got some great news. The outspoken Patti Stanger is back, this time on WEtv on the similarly titled  Million Dollar Matchmaker . Looks like the premise remains about the same: finding richies a sufficient match who'll endure their (mostly) terrible personalities. “I'm taking the toughest cases I've ever seen in my matchmaking history and putting them in a week-long intensive retreat where I'm giving them love lessons,” Stanger says in a clip promoting the show. But here's the awesome part.  One of her clients is Farrah Abraham! She wasn't lying when she said “toughest cases.” In the clip, we see a teary-eyed Farrah express to Patti that she just doesn't get why she can't find love. “I don't know why it's so hard to find someone else to love me,” the Teen Mom OG  personality tells the matchmaker. Maybe because you scream at everybody and lie about rape and are a racist ? If you've ever watched Stanger in action, you know that she also yells a fair amount and rips right into her clients when they get out of line. Please let her do this to Farrah, oh please. We can't wait for this exchange of words. Last month it appeared as though Farrah and Simon Saran had gotten back together , but maybe she just needed a date to the So Sexy event, whatever that is. Also appearing on Million Dollar Matchmaker will be the human Ken doll, Justin Jedlica , although we figured he'd already find his match in the Human Barbie, no?

Chris Rock DISSES Selena Gomez With Mean Beyonce Meme!

Whoa, Chris Rock. What you got against Selena Gomez? The comedian is constantly cracking jokes, and the butt of his latest is Ms. Gomez. Rock recently posted a meme that includes a photo of the singer in a gold bodysuit and reads, “When you buy your formation tickets on craigslist.” “Formation,” of course, is the name of Beyonce’s latest album and tour. Queen Bey is also loves to rock bodysuits during stage performances, so Rock seems to imply that Selena is some kind of lesser version of the “Formation” singer. “This is true,” he tweeted alongside the meme. Pretty harsh. Admittedly kinda funny, though. The simple tweet unleashed an all-out war between Selena and Beyonce fans alike. “This is literally so stupid im so pissed! I’d go see Selena over Beyonce anyday,” wrote one SelGo supporter. Naturally, the Beyhive was on alert as well. “Selena can’t sing. Don’t compare her to beyonce,” wrote one member. And, of course, Rock took some heat himself. “When nobody will buy your stand up comedy tickets so you come on Twitter to slander someone more successful than you,” wrote one angry fan. Selena has not responded to the tweet herself, but she is currently on tour promoting her “Revival” album and not thinking about Justin Bieber. Rock was recently taken to task for a far more offensive joke during the 2016 Academy Awards, when he brought three Asian kids to the stage and joked about them being accountants and also child laborers.

Girl Dresses as Hot Dog During Princess Week, Is Our New Hero

No offense to Jasmine, Belle or Merida. But not every little girl out there wasn’t to be a princess. Isn’t that right, Ainsley? A five-year old by that name has gone viral because she’s a student at Holly Springs School of Dance in North Carolina and because last week was deemed “Princess Week” by the studio. But that didn’t stop Ainsley from showing up in a hot dog costume. Word got out regarding the toddler’s hilarious decision when her dad Tweeted the photo above, along with a caption that reads: “No parent is ready to learn that their daughter is trending… #hotdogprincess Best part is it was all her idea!” Oh, yes, #hotdogprincess was trending as a hashtag for awhile this week. The dance school’s director Marilyn Chappell told The Huffington Post that Ainsley’s costume should remind everyone out there to truly embrace your true self. “We all needed a leader to say, ‘Hey, be yourself,’” Chappell said. “How cool is it that a little girl in a hot dog costume is sending out that message?” We’ll go ahead and answer that for you: it’s VERY cool! Ainsley’s dad also went ahead and Tweeted a conversation he had with his daughter about the costume choice: “Why did you want to be a hotdog? Because its my favorite costume. Are you a ketchup or mustard fan? Ketchup. Mostly.” It wasn’t just those who know Ainsley who were impressed by her self-confidence and bold decision. It was nearly anyone who came across this story. “It was princess day at dance and one little girl came as a hot dog I have never admired someone more,” wrote Twitter user @graysonl3. Ainsley became so popular, The Huffington Post reporters, that she was invited on stage as a special guest at the older students’ recital this past weekend. Bella Thorne Describes Herself as Latina, Internet Trolls Attack

If you follow Bella Thorne on Instagram , you know that the 18-year-old’s social is an endless source of majestic wonder. And by that we Bella takes a lot of butt selfies and wears a lot of tight clothing. But it’s not all fun and games and barely-legal semi-nudity. Yesterday, Bella posted a s shoutout to Disney for unveiling the brand’s first Latina princess . She ended the post with the hashtags “#IAmLatina #Proud #Cuban,” and for some reason, all hell broke loose. Some of the more jaw-dropping comments include: “Girl you white as f–k!” “This white chick ain’t Latina shes ginger for gods sake.” “You’re white so don’t say “I am Latina”, because you’re not. It’s disrespectful to those of us who are actually Latina. Thanks.” “You aren’t “Latina and proud” you probably don’t know anything about your culture. You’re a little white girl, get over it.” “Shut the f–k up. You’re not Cuban. F–k you. Just because you’ve been to Cuba doesn’t make you Cuban. F–king dumb bitch!” Yes, things escalated mighty quickly, as they tend to on Internet comment boards. Look, frankly, we probably wouldn’t have guessed that Bella is of Cuban descent either. Fortunately, we don’t have to guess, because she told us! And with the exception of the occasional Rachel Dolezal type, people can generally be trusted when they describe their own ethnic heritage. Bella’s father was of Cuban descent and like it or not, that means she’s free to self-identify as Latina. Apparently, a lot of people have a big, big problem with that, which should lead them to a question far more important than any lingering uncertainty about Bella’s ethnic background: If finding out that an 18-year-old actress is Latina is enough to send you into a seething fit of rage, isn’t it time to re-examine your priorities?
