Celebrity Big Brother Recap: Did Ryan Lochte Get Evicted?

Ever since Kato won the HOH competition on Thursday night, he and his allies have been chatting about the idea of evicting Ryan if there was a replacement nominee.  The pre-edited segments of Mondays mostly live installment of Celebrity Big Brother saw that plan gathering steam, with Kato doubling down on Tom, Natalie, and Lolo that one of them needed to win the veto.  First, however, he had to contend with Tamar Braxton who was not impressed that he called out the fact that she wanted to see her son during her nomination speech.  “Every mother’s supposed to miss their children,” Tamar said to him as she stormed off.  “Whenever someone says ‘go home and be with your kid, it makes me feel like I’m nothing,” Tamar later said to the man who put her on the block.  Dina was also not impressed about being on the block, complaining that nobody seems to be telling the truth in the house.  Um, what?  Did Dina forget that this is a battle for $250,000? In any case, Kato reassured her that she would be safe and that she had to trust him.  When the new powerful alliance met up outside to discuss the backdoor Ryan plan, one of them forgot to close the door, and Ryan seemingly heard everything.  Ryan then confided in Joey that one of them was going on the block, and the pair ultimately took the news to Kato. Kato said that one of them will likely be going up.  Tom, Natalie, and Joey were picked to play in the live veto alongside the HOH and the two nominees.  It came down to Tamar and Tom who tied in the first round of the competition. Tom snagged the win and removed Dina from the block.  Ryan was named the replacement nominee and was eliminated by a vote of 6-1. As he walked out the door, Joey complained to Kato.  As for whether Ryan would hold a grudge against Lolo at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he said he considered everyone in the house to be his friends.  It was a classy exit, but Ryan did already know the writing was on the wall for him after the way the veto went.  Julie then lifted the lid on the latest twist to rock the house. Viewers were given the opportunity to vote for one houseguest to be safe at one of the next two evictions.  What are your thoughts on all the latest action? The Bachelor Recap: Very Serious, Very Somber in Singapore

The Bachelor aired a few light-hearted moments on January 28, but a bulk of this unique episode was dedicated to a very serious subject matter. During her one-on-one date with Colton, Caelynn Miller-Keyes opened up about having been sexually assaulted in college. It was a raw and honest and upsetting conversation, though one that certainly captured the attention of all viewers. We admire Caelynn for telling her story in this manner. How did Colton react? What Had We Seen Thus Far from Caelynn? Viewers had previously seen Caelynn feud with Hannah B., a fellow beauty pageant contestant who the 2018 Miss North Carolina actually knew prior to The Bachelor. 2. But That Feud Was Not an Issue This Week Instead, Caelynn told Colton about what happened to her when she was a sophomore in college and attended a fraternity party in 2014 with three friends. 3. “Something Really Bad Happened” “They drugged our wine,” she told Underwood. “I woke up the next morning completely naked in my bed and had no memory of the night before. I had a small vision of a guy in my bed and I just had this pit in my stomach that something really bad happened last night. My girlfriend called and said three of us were all sexually assaulted.” 4. This is What Happened: Caelynn said her friend told her that after her two friends passed out in a bed at the party, two men allegedly had sex with them, in the same bed, while they were incapacitated. “The girlfriend who didn’t drink the wine called me and told me that not only did a guy come home and have sex with me, another guy — I was passed out on the couch from the drugs and he said, ‘Watch what I’m about to do’ with all his fraternity brothers around me and he lifted up my dress. They watched and laughed and took photos” and shared the photos on Snapchat.” 5. The Trauma Continued… “It was horrible It was absolutely horrible,” Miller-Keyes told Underwood. The next day, Caelynn reported the assault to the police — but when she first went to get a rape kit, she was turned away by the hospital — “which is illegal,” she added of being told she had to file the report first. By the time she arrived at the second hospital and spoke with police, the results ended up being inconclusive because too much time had passed. 6. One Student Was Expelled. The Others Got Away with It. “I was determined to get justice and seek justice,” said Caelynn on air. “It’s something that will always be a part of me. I struggled with the shame and guilt that I had felt. It’s the most difficult thing in the world. It’s so painful and it screws up every ounce of you.” View Slideshow

Blac Chyna Brawls with Boyfriend Kid Buu! Cops Get Called!

Remember the report about Blac Chyna ditching her daughter for her boyfriend when it was her turn to have custody? She has been partying with Kid Buu in Hawaii. But that party has come to a violent end. Apparently, the two got into a serious fight, resulting in police and paramedics being called to the scene. Yikes. TMZ reports that Blac Chyna and Kid Buu got into a violent fight on what was supposed to be a romantic vacation. It is said to have started at about 5am at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Honolulu on Monday morning. The two of them engaged in a heated argument. It apparently began with Chyna accusing Buu of infidelity. Just before 7am, TMZ is informed, the verbal argument became a violent confrontation. According to the sources who spoke to the tabloid, both parties participated in the violence. Kid Buu allegedly slammed Blac Chyna against the wall more than once. He is also said to have choked her during the fight. Chyna is said to have scratched him. TMZ does not say who was the first of them to inflict violence upon the other. That may or may not be a significant factor for the two of them. Someone, though it is unclear who, dialed 911. Both police and paramedics arrived at the scene. It’s always good to have paramedics arrive to treat both obvious injuries and non-obvious ones. (For example, someone who is slammed into a wall repeatedly may have a concussion and not realize it) Chyna was apparently not taken to the hospital. Kid Buu departed the hotel and posted an angry, some would say menacing video on social media. “Don’t f–k with me,” he warns in Spanish. I’m a grown man,” Kid Buu asserts. It’s true — despite his name and despite looking like an extra from a The Purge film, the guy is 30 years old. He then says a homophobic slur that even those of us who haven’t taken a Spanish class since the aughts can recognize. Gross. All of this went down on Monday. On Sunday, their social media activity portrayed a very different dynamic. Kid Buu was happily dancing, and Chyna was grinding on him. (Truth be told, it was much more like humping, which is fine but … these are both 30-year-olds acting 15) Whatever you think of all of that very public PDA, it’s at least better than what sounds like a very brutal fight. Blac Chyna has been in physical confrontations before. Rob Kardashian has accused her of domestic violence during their relationship. Chyna accused Rob of the same against her during their time together. Additionally, about a year ago, Chyna was filmed apparently trying to attack a woman using her own daughter’s stroller. Dream was not in the stroller at the time, and it is unclear if she witnessed the heated confrontation. No matter how angry you get, please do not attack people — whether they’re your significant other or just someone else at a theme park. Brad Pitt Hasn’t Seen His Kids in 900 Days, Source Claims

Move over, Tom Cruise! There’s a new Hollywood deadbeat dad in town, and he’s not blaming his negligent ways on commands issued by his alien overlords. According to Radar Online, Brad Pitt recently reached a painful milestone: The site claims Brad has not been spotted in public with his kids in 900 days. Now, that’s not to say he hasn’t seen any of his kids. In fact, he’s probably spent time with all of them at one point or another over the course of the past two and a half years. But it is to say there are some seriously high tensions, and Brad’s relationship with his children is not what he would like it to be. Allow us to explain: As you may recall, Brad’s contentious relationship with son Maddox, 17, was at the center of Pitt’s divorce from Angelina Jolie . Jolie decided that Maddox is old enough to decide for himself if he’d like to continue having a relationship with his father, and he chose not to. Maddox’s younger brother Pax, 15, has also opted out of spending any time with Brad. Maddox and Pax’s younger siblings have not cut Brad off entirely, but it seems the actor sees very little of them — and that’s just the way Angelina likes it. “Angie secretly delights in Maddox and Pax refusing to see Brad. Besides that, she doesn’t stop them when they badmouth and complain about him,” a source close to the situation tells Radar. “Not stopping them from blasting Brad plays into her mind games.” And it seems Brad has resigned himself to the fact that he’ll never be able to mend fences with Maddox — but he wants a chance to  “Brad knows his relationship with Maddox is irreparable, but he deserves a chance with the younger ones,” the insider says. “He’s tried his best to clean up his act,” the source adds. “Brad’s sober and healthy and ready to be the best dad in the world. “But Angelina refuses to give him a chance at redemption. It’s sad and frustrating.” Sounds like Angelina’s holding all the cards and Brad’s got his work cut out for him. Catelynn Lowell: I Don’t Have to Take Care of My Kid, Tyler Will Do It!

Things have been kind of weird for Teen Mom lately, huh? And by “kind of weird,” we mean 100% bananas. During the last season, a whole, whole lot of changes were made to our beloved Teen Mom OG. Since Farrah Abraham was out, they replaced her with Cheyenne Floyd , a girl from other MTV reality shows who had never been a teen mother. She had her first and only child at 24, so … that was a choice. Then, just for fun, they threw in Bristol Palin as a fifth cast member. Ryan Edwards was cut from the show , and since he was part of Maci’s story, they didn’t need to hire someone else to take his place. But he and Mackenzie Standifer did provide a huge amount of drama, so his absence was definitely noticeable. In addition to all of this, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra went from being some of the most beloved cast members to some of the most despised. And oh, what a ride that was. As we all know so well by now, Catelynn had a miscarriage in late 2017, and she began having suicidal thoughts afterwards. She decided to check into a treatment center in Arizona for six weeks to deal with everything, and Tyler fully supported her. So did the vast majority of Teen Mom viewers. But then, just a couple of weeks after coming home, she decided to go back for another six weeks. She didn’t want to consider doing therapy while staying at home, or even checking in for some inpatient treatment in their home state of Michigan. Tyler told her that he was struggling holding everything down without her, and it was clear that their daughter, Nova, was also struggling with her mom being gone for so long. She left for Arizona again anyway. That’s really when the tides began to turn. Later, we saw Tyler tell his mother that Cate had told him that she’d been skipping therapy sessions to sleep in after staying up late to watch movies, which was odd, considering how hard she’d insisted she needed the therapy. He admitted that he was losing empathy for her, and pretty much everyone watching at home was like “Yeah, same.” When she got home from that stay in rehab, she didn’t seem too interested in helping Tyler deal with his issues — issues he’d been having from dealing with his addict sister, his addict father, the miscarriage, his own traumatic upbringing … It was bad. For a while, she refused to go to therapy with him, and he grew more and more exasperated with her. Then she got pregnant . The pregnancy didn’t fix their relationship, and they ended up going through a trial separation . Now they’re back together and gearing up to welcome their baby, a daughter they’ll name Tezlee who is due in March. But still, people are not happy with her. And they just got straight up vicious on her latest Instagram post. The post itself was pretty tame — just a Boomerang of her bath water. But in her caption, she wrote “I LOVE baths. #obsessed especially with this pregnancy I take like 2-3 baths a day.” Unfortunately, not many of her followers were impressed. “No one takes 3 baths a day while pregnant,” one person wrote. “I hope you at least take one and can clean up your filthy house. And please no more kids until you can get yourself together.” “Lol 2-3 baths,” someone else commented. “Must have a lot of times on your hands.” Another person had a similar thought, writing “Wow, how nice it must be to not have a job.” The idea of having enough time to take two or three baths a day wasn’t the only issue taken with Catelynn’s post. Several people told her that baths weren’t safe so late in pregnancy — some said the water temperature wasn’t good for the baby, others said it decreased the heart rate. Her water could break and she wouldn’t know it, the water could soften the amniotic sac … We’re sure at least some of those aren’t true, but then there’s the problem of waste. “Get a grip,” yet another outraged Teen Mom fan told her. “2-3 baths a day is so water intensive and awful for the environment, set a good example for your child.” And then, of course, there were the unnecessarily nasty comments, like the ones that read “Hopefully her new baby is taken from her” and “Yuck, does your fat ass even fit in the tub?!” Last night, she began deleting some of the negative comments, and she even responded to some, explaining that she had an awesome husband who cared for their daughter so she could take her baths. Jenelle Evans has never exactly been a favorite among Teen Mom 2 fans. In fact, there are thousands of “Hatter” accounts on Twitter devoted to calling attention to Jenelle's many atrocities. (The name derives from a Jenelle-defender's botched spelling of “hater.”) Much of the commentary has to do with Evans' parenting practices, which have been called into question not only by Teen Mom 2 viewers by Department of Child and Family Services, whose officers visited Evans' home more than 20 times last year. Jenelle has been accused of neglecting her eldest son Jace, who's spent the majority of his life in the custody of his controversial grandmother. There have also been allegations that Jenelle has allowed her husband, David Eason, to abuse her middle child, Kaiser . And now, many fans believe Jenelle has failed to properly care for her youngest child, 2-year-old Ensley. Take a look: 1. Mother and Daughter Jenelle often posts photos that seem designed to give the impression that she’s an ideal mother. 2. All For Show? She’s frequently been accused of “Instagram parenting” and using her children as props on social media, despite the fact that she spends as little time with them as possible. 3. Jay Smith: Ashley and I Are Back Together and Banging!

This week was a whirlwind of news for 90 Day Fiance couple Ashley Martson and Jay Smith. First, Ashley filed for divorce from Jay earlier this month, only to change her mind this week and withdraw the filing. Now, Jay shared a steamy video to social media to show that they're very much still together. Early Friday morning, Jay Smith shared an Instagram video with his followers. In the video, he is lipsyncing to “Senseless (Remix)” by Stefflon Don & Tory Lanez. While the song is pleasant and Jay is a good-looking dude, that is not what immediately caught the attention of 90 Day Fiance fans. Jay's head rests very comfortably on a pair of fair legs. And, as he is sure to show in the video, the woman on whose legs he is resting is not wearing any pants. The woman's head and face are not shown during the video, but it's not really a mystery. Fans and followers alike did not waste much time guessing the leg-bearer who places her hand on Jay's chest. “100% this is Ashley,” writes a 90 Day Fiance fan blog. “It's friggin Ashley,” comments a fan. “She blocked me after I said I would never let him tattoo me because I've seen his work!!” That hilarious comment concludes: “If she didnt care she wouldn't of blocked me.” We cannot argue with that reasoning. Another “clue” is the caption that Jay included in his video. “If you don't like the road you're walking,” Jay writes. “Start paving another one.” He tags his caption: “newstart.” It sounds like he and Ashley are giving their relationship a soft reboot and trying things again. This time, hopefully, without anyone downloading any dating apps. Ashley has not actually confirmed that she and Jay are back together. In fact, when a fan asked her why she won't give a simple yes or no, her reply said it all. Ashley wrote “nothing I like more than …” followed by a photo of a check. That seems to imply that, as has been rumored, Ashley and Jay have filmed for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Jay's video may crop out Ashley's face for contractual reasons more than anything else. Still, it's a nice video, and reassuring to the couple's fans. As viewers discovered to their horror on the Season 6 finale of 90 Day Fiance , Jay and Ashley had very ideas of what it means to be married. Ashley learned that Jay had downloaded a dating app — Tinder — within days of their wedding. She caught him video chatting with another woman three days after the nuptials. At the Tell All special, Jay shared that he was being totally transparent with Ashley. She herself shared that she felt torn, because monitoring his electronic behavior felt like being a babysitter, not a wife. At the same time, she did not simply want to ship him back to Jamaica. She felt responsible. Clearly, they've given things another shot, and we hope that it works out. Part of what helped the couple reconnect, it appears, was Ashley's battle with lupus that led to her emergency hospitalization with kidney failure. Jay flew to be by her side, gushing about his feelings for her in a now-deleted post. In the mean time, Ashley has shared that she is taking a step back from certain aspects of social media. “Fans, all I ask for is prayers,” she wrote on Friday morning. “I will not be sharing much information about my health any longer.” “My willingness to overshare came with nothing but scrutiny and backlash,” she lamented. “I need to focus on my health, family, and recovery for that month,” Ashley explained. She concluded: “I appreciate all who support me very much.” Good for her. She should take all of the time that she needs.

Earlier this week, the comedy world was stunned by the passing of Kevin Barnett . The highly-respected comic and co-creator of the Fox series Rel was just 32 at the time of his death. Details of Barnett’s final hours remain scarce, but it’s now been confirmed pancreatitis was the comedian’s cause of death. Barnett was vacationing in Mexico at the time of his passing. “We can confirm the death of a U.S. citizen, Kevin Barnett, in Tijuana on Jan. 22,” a U.S. Department of State official told E! News in a statement issued on Thursday. “We offer our sincerest condolences to his family on their loss, and we stand ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance. Out of respect to the family during this difficult time, we have no further comment. “The corresponding autopsy was carried out, which determined that the cause of death was: Non Traumatic Hemorrhage, caused by pancreatitis,” the statement reads. “At the moment his body is still in facilities of the Forensic Medical Service of Tijuana, waiting to be delivered to his family members who are performing the legal proceedings.” Barnett’s final social media post indicated that he was in Mexico, but did not suggest that he was aware of any issues with his health. “In mexico. Bought myself a sweater,” he captioned the post. “Been accused of appropriation several times. In my head I just gave a lady some money so I ain’t cold. Either way. Swag heavy. Mixtape comin.” On social media, Barnett’s friends and fellow comics have been paying heartfelt tribute to the young up-and-comer. “i am so sad,” tweeted Brooklyn 99 star Chelsea Peretti. “Kevin Barnett was an incredible comedian and writer, contributing to Broad City, the stand-up community and beyond,” Comedy Central tweeted Tuesday. “He’ll be greatly missed.” In addition to his work on Rel, Barnett contributed to numerous television shows and movies, including  Broad City, The Carmichael Show and The Heartbreak Kid. A celebration of Barnett’s life hosted by several of his fellow comedians will be held at The Bell House in Brooklyn this evening.
