Jenelle just issues a bizarre statement through her rep, while David — well David keeps finding new ways to hit rock bottom. And this time, fans aren't putting up with his boorish behavior: 1. The Result “The female was advised proper action,” says the Operations Chief. “[The officers] advised what legal action she could take.” The source adds that Jenelle chose not to press charges. 5. The site obtained police records indicating that two cop cars and an ambulance were dispatched to the Easons' home in response to a domestic disturbance. Here's everything we know so far … 1. And that’s all she wrote for another season of Married at First. The Lifetime reality series concluded its latest examination of husbands and wives who barely know each other on Tuesday night, as many viewers tuned in to find out which twosomes would stay together… … and which would finally realize, What the heck was I thinking marrying someone I only just met?!? Let’s begin our finale recap with a look Dave Flaherty and Amber Martorana , shall we? Amber very much aware of Dave’s apprehensiveness and hesitation about the future, which, naturally, only made her even more insecure. However, she soon realized that she spent a lot of time focusing on Dave’s feelings rather than her own. Perhaps it was time for a self-examination, you know? Forget what Dave was thinking, she reasoned and wondered. “What if there’s someone better for me?” Amber said. “I haven’t really stopped to think ‘What do I really want? Is this marriage right for me?’” In the end, the answer was yes to this final question. She and Dave surprisingly chose to remain together and ended their storyline looking forward to having more time to work on their union. But what about Bobby Dodd and Danielle Bergman ? Well… We mean, do we even need to say it? The most predictable couple on the show never fought and were totally obsessed with each other during the entire process. It was both adorable and sort of sickening to watch. Only one thing was holding them back overall and that Danielle’s inability to tell Bobby that she loved him. “I’ve told Danielle time and time again how much I love her,” Bobby said. “The only thing I really need to hear is Danielle say that she loves me. It’s just something I always thought I would have by now.” Right?!? Especially considering how smoothly the marriage has gone. When decision day arrived, Bobby did all he could to make Danielle happy and secure, even getting down on one knee, pulling out a ring and pouring his heart out to her. “These eight weeks have been the absolute best eight weeks of my life,” he said. “I’m just glad that I got you. Ultimately, I want you to know that I chose you.” Did it work? Did she reply with the L Bomb? YES! “I feel like I got a best friend and I’m completely head over heels in love with you,” Danielle said. Finally, we get to Tristan Thompson and Mia Balley … These two went through more than any other couple on the show, that’s for certain. If you’ll recall, he kicked her out of the house… she threatened him with divorce … we learned that Mia was once arrested for stalking . So it wasn’t exactly a shock that, going into decision day, both sides were apprehensive and confused about what to do. “It’s a lot more downs than been ups,” Tristan said. “I care for her … but with everything that’s happened, we still have a lot of work to do.” Incredibly, the two somehow chose to remain together and give their relationship another shot — on air, at least. The finale was filmed many months ago, remember. In September, long after shooting wrapped, Mia filed for divorce . It’s probably for the best, don’t you think?
Dennis Hof, a world famous brothel owner and reality television personality, was found dead Tuesday at his often-frequented Love Ranch in Nevada. He was 72 years old. A Republican candidate for the state Assembly in a southern Nevada district, Hof reportedly died in his sleep just hours after a celebration that featured pornography star Ron Jeremy… former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio … and anti-tax activist Grover Norquist. This news was confirmed by Hof’s campaign manager, Chuck Muth. Jeremy, the best known porn star on the planet, actually found Hof’s body early on Tuesday. Hof formerly anchored the series Cathouse, which aired on HBO and which chronicled life at his sex-laden residence. However, he recently made national headlines after earning a primary victory over a three-term Republican in a rural district in Southern Nevada. The Nye County Sheriff’s office said Tuesday that it was investigating Hof’s death. “We had a wonderful event last night,” Muth told the Reno Gazette Journal. “He was having the time of his life.” In the celebrity gossip universe, Hof was perhaps best known for running the brothel at which Lamar Odom suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2015. Speaking to NPR earlier this year, Hof was unabashed about his work as a legal pimp, along with his political aspirations. “Dennis Hof is the Trump of Pahrump,” he said, outlining the way people spoke about him in the most populous town in the district and adding of himself: “He’s rich, he’s famous, he’s got nerves of steel. He likes hot girls.” The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported a few months ago, however, that numerous former prostitutes had accused Hof of sexual assault. The cases were never prosecuted and, according to USA Today, Hof denied the allegations. Hof posted bail for Liberace’s former lover, Scott Thorson, in 2013, after Thorson took up residence at the Bunny Ranch. He also hosted a “Get My Grandpa Laid” contest on the Howard Stern show later that year, often doing these sorts of explicit publicity stunts in order to stay in the news. As for his unexpected candiacy? “It’s all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me,” Hof said of why he won his primary. “He found the way, and I jumped on it.” And Hof could actually still win the seat for which he was running. Ballots for the November 6 election have already been printed. Outlets say that notices of Hof’s death will be posted at the polls. If he should win, according to a spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state, the seat would be considered vacant. Commissioners from the three counties in the district would then appoint another Republican to the position. “This is not anything that I would have ever guessed would happen,” said Hof’s Democratic opponent, Lesia Romanov. “My heart goes out to those who care about him. Just a crazy turn of events.”
Lady Gaga continues to receive rave reviews for her role in A Star is Born. But the singer took a moment on Monday and acknowledged the special role someone else is playing in her life right now.] That is, she confirmed that she's engaged to Christian Carino. This is not a shocking piece of news to anyone who reads The Hollywood Gossip. We wrote about Gaga's plans to marry Carino back in November of 2017. However, the artist is famously private and had not said a word about this relationship until she spoke this week at Elle‘s 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles. The topic of Gaga's speech was a very serious one. She opened up to the crowd about having been sexually assaulted in the past, saying on stage: “What does it really mean to be a woman in Hollywood? We are not just objects to entertain the world. We are not simply images to bring smiles or grimaces to people's faces. “We are not members of a giant beauty pageant meant to be pit against one another for the pleasure of the public. We women in Hollywood, we are voices.” Gaga added: “As a woman who lives with chronic pain, as a woman who was conditioned at a very young age to listen to what men told me to do, I decided today I wanted to take the power back. “Today I wear the pants.” Amen, right? While this message is vitally important, it's almost being overshadowed in the celebrity gossip world by the fact that Gaga also referenced talent agent Christian Carino as her “fiance” at one point. The two started dating in February of last year and, as far as we know, got engaged about nine months later. Carino was on hand to support Gaga ahead of her Super Bowl LI halftime performance in Houston in 2017, where the couple was photographed cuddling on the field. Briana DeJesus … well, sometimes all you can say is “bless her heart,” you know? She's just been through so much, and she's just so intense. Nobody even has time to document all of her crazy feuds and dramatic moments and actual real life issues. But right now, she has a brand new, extra serious issue going on. As she explained, she's “dying.” 1. Bad Times We’re talking about Briana right now, but it’s also worth mentioning that the Teen Mom cast as a whole has had its share of illnesses, right? 2. So Heartbreaking Leah Messer’s family definitely comes to mind when thinking about this topic — one of her twins, Ali, has an extremely rare form of muscular dystrophy. 3. Poor Maci! Maci Bookout deals with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and she’s been open about how extremely painful it is when her cysts rupture. 4. Just Temporary! This one was just temporary, but Catelynn Lowell developed gestational diabetes while she was pregnant with her second child, a condition that if left unmanaged can cause serious complications. 5. Oh, Jenelle … And who could forget that time that Jenelle could see molecules and went to see all kinds of doctors because no one could figure out what was wrong with her? Most people thought she was trying to score pills, but apparently she was having an adverse reaction to a new birth control pill. 6. Too, Too Much Several cast members have also dealt with mental illness including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction … just so much mental illness. Dancing with the Stars switched things up for Monday night’s live telecast. And no, we don’t mean Joe Amabile somehow figured out how to bust a move without tripping over his dance partner a few seconds later. A third dancer was added into the mix for each performance, and it actually made the performances fun. Some of these performers have barely mastered the art of dancing as part of a duo, so watching them adapt to being part of a trio was rather exciting. Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke with Melissa Rycroft Cha Cha, “Wavey” by CliQ featuring Alika After their perfect score last week, Juan Pablo and Cheryl were affected big time by the addition of a Melissa. It was clear from the rehearsal that there were going to be some glaring issues heading into the live shows. It wasn’t as polished as we’ve come to expect, but that’s what happens when you ruin a good thing. Melissa tried her best, but she just got in the way. Judges’ Score: 24/30 Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong with Amy Purdy Tango, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” from Rock of Ages Being in the bottom two last week, Tinashe and Brandon knew they had to switch things up to get some of the good old viewer votes before it was too late for them. Before they really got a chance, they were tasked with working with Amy Purdy. Amy previously appeared in Season 18, and while she was a great dancer, she seemed out of place. Maybe it was the nerves. Either way, it was a still a decent performance. Judges’ Score: 26/30 John Schneider and Emma Slater with Joey Fatone Argentine Tango, “Torn” by Nathan Lanier John has been circling the drain for much of the season, so adding a third person into this was either going to make it sink or swim. Joey was a veteran from Season 4. Yes, that was several years ago, and he was pretty great. However, the overall performance was lacking, and that’s not a good thing. Judges’ Score: 21/30 Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe with Scarlett Byrne Salsa, “Black Magic” by Little Mix Evanna’s friend, Scarlett, with whom she appeared on the Harry Potter movies stopped by to help out with a robust performance. Still, this killed the momentum Evanna and Keo have been building for weeks. Judges’ Score: 24/30 DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold with Rashad Jennings Paso Doble, “Fire” by Barns Courtney Rashad Jennings is a previous winner, so what could really go wrong with this performance? A lot, apparently. DeMarcus struggled because of how hectic things were on the dance floor, and who can blame him? It reflected in the scores. Judges’ Score: 22/30 Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber with Nastia Liukin Charleston, “V.E.S.P.A.” by Dimie Cat Mary Lou struggled to keep up in rehearsals because the Charleston is fast-paced. She was in floods of tears at one point because she thought this would be the week it got too much. Thankfully, the performance was solid and proved why she was still in the competition. Nastia Liukin actually made this performance a solid one. Judges’ Score: 26/30 Milo Manheim and Witney Carson with Riker Lynch Salsa, “Adrenalina” by Wisin featuring Jennifer Lopez & Ricky Martin Milo, Witney, and Riker. Could they just become a trio for the rest of the season? I loved EVERYTHING about that show-stopping performance. Judges’ Score: 29/30 Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson with Jordan Kimball Salsa, “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred In a blatant attempt to continue racking up the votes, Jordan Kimball, who recently claimed the woman he met on Bachelor in Paradise was cheating on him, appeared to help Joe. Yikes. The performance was embarrassing. Like, poor Jenna was run off her feet trying to show these two turkeys how to make it look like they cared about dancing. Judges’ Score: 15/30 Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten with Maddie Ziegler Tango, “Move Your Body” by Sia This will go down as one of the most surprising performances in the history of the show. Maddie, of Dance Moms and Sia music video fame, is a solid dancer. Putting her together with Alan and Alexis was a winning move. Those moves were fast, flawless, and most of all, breathtaking. Judges’ Score: 25/30 Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess with Lindsey Stirling Cha Cha, “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer Lindsey returned to the floor, and we hate to say it, but she hindered Bobby and Sharna from doing what they do best: Dancing like they don’t care who’s watching. It was slow, full of the wrong steps, and lacked the charm. Judges’ Score: 20/30 When all was said and done, Evanna and Keo and Tinashe and Brandon were revealed to be the bottom two. We wish we were kidding here, but Grocery Store Joe managed to evade the bottom two. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the novelty acts are doing well this season. Erica Mena has been placed under arrest. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member was taken into custody on Friday after police arrived on the scene in response to a domestic dispute. According to TMZ, Mena and her boyfriend, Clifford Dixon, were both taken away by the cops after an argument got out of hand inside their Johns Creek, Georgia apartment. Witnesses near the scene told authorities that Mena and Dixon had not only been arguing, but that the latter had kicked in a bedroom door in order to get to the former. One of Erica and Cliff’s roommates even told police that she/he heard someone get slapped upstairs, although no one actually saw any physical abuse take place. Cops did not report any signs of an altercation on either party, either. This is to say, neither Mena nor Dixon had any marks on their bodies at the time of the arrest. Dixon was arrested for criminal trespass because Mena told cops the property was in her name. Meanwhile, Erica was arrested for possession of marijuana, despite having less than one ounce of her at the time of the arrest. She has since made bail. Mena returned to Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta last season. Prior to coming on board, she was a staple on Love & Hip Hop: New York. Other professional ventures for Mena include having written the books “Chronicles of a Confirmed Bachelorette” and “Underneath It All.” In August of 2017, it was announced that Mena would compete in the first season of VH1’s Scared Famous, which premiered on October 23, 2017. Mena was previously engaged to Bow Wow and wrote the following upon leaving the New York version of this Love & Hip Hop franchise: I have fan base that now become my family! I can’t thank you all enough for following & riding this ride. You are all appreciated. No matter what I’m always going to be Open and Real with you all. This chapter has ended but the real deal is the journey has just begun. Four years ago became #MenaMonday. I let the world in and it’s been a crazy ride since.
