Joy-Anna Duggar: One Thing Has Helped Me Cope With My Miscarriage …

This summer, Joy-Anna Duggar suffered a tragic miscarriage . She and Austin shared their grief with fans. Joy is not the only member of the Duggar family who is pregnant. In a new interview, she explains how she is coping with Kendra, Abbie, and Lauren’s pregnancies when the pain of her miscarriage is so recent. “I thought it was going to be a lot harder,” Joy-Anna recently confessed to Us Weekly . She is referring to “being around [Kendra Duggar (née Caldwell), Abbie Duggar (née Burnett) , Lauren Duggar (née Swanson), and Anna Duggar (née Keller) …” Joy had this concern, of course, “because there are three sisters that are due the same time I was.” “But I was praying that the Lord would help me be excited for them,” she notes. “And I can honestly say that … I’m super excited for them,” Joy-Anna proclaims. “But I try and ask them a lot how they’re doing, how they’re feeling,” she adds. Joy explains that she’s sure to keep up with how they are “because this is an exciting time.” “They have little blessings that they’re adding to their family,” she affirms. But not everything will be as easy, she notes. “Meeting the babies,” Joy-Anna acknowledges. “I feel like that may be hard.” “But it’s not like I’m upset that I’ve lost my baby,” she emphasizes. “I still am excited for them.” Joy explains: “But you think, ‘What would my baby look like? What would she be like?’” Back in early July, Joy-Anna and Austin broke the grim news to their fans and followers. “Today marks one week since we heard these words…” they began, writing on their joint Instagram account. They quoted the doctor: “‘So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement.'” “We had gone in for our 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal,” the couple revealed. “It was a baby girl.” “Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time,” Joy and Austin affirmed. “Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears,” they acknowledged. “But we know that we can trust the Lord.” “In the words of King David after the loss of his baby, “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me” (2 Sam 12:23),” they recited. Joy and Austin wrote: “We don’t grieve as those who have no hope because we trust that we will see this little one again.” “We named her Annabell Elise,” Joy-Anna and Austin shared with their fans and followers. They explained: “Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies.'” “What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes,” Joy and Austin expressed. “The first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.” “Please pray for continued healing,” they asked at the time. “Not only physically but for our hearts as well.” Clearly, Joy-Anna has come a long way since that tragic loss this summer. David Eason Makes a Big Deal Out of Wedding Ring Removal

If David Eason and Jenelle Evans really are faking their divorce for attention and money, well… … they are doing a mighty terrific job of making it seem real. Evans, of course, announced very late last month that she was finally finished with her violent husband , explaining via Instagram that she was ready to move on. “I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” wrote the extremely polarizing mother of three, adding at the time: “I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it’s been my life. Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. “With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.” To make her intentions clear, Evans concluded: The kids and I have moved away David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. The former reality star went on to thank fans for supporting her and assured all that both she and the kids “are doing great.” As you can see above, Jenelle sounds rather definitive, right? And yet: Our staff has been debating whether Evans and Eason are truly over for good because, let’s be honest, you never know with these two. In the days since, however, Eason has trashed Jenelle as “stupid” online, while also mocking her history of road rage incidents and implying that she doesn’t deserve custody of their daughter, two-year old Ensley. As outlined above, Evans cites 11 times in which Eason has abused her — mentally or physically  — and/or threatened her. She says she is scared for her life and also the lives of her children. Eason hasn’t really said anything in response, but he did just make a pretty clear statement on his Instagram Story: “I guess I can take this off now…” Eason captioned a snapshot of his wedding ring, including with it a disappointed-looking emoji. Might David have finally realized this whole divorce thing is real? Publishing a photo after the removal, Eason displayed severe peeling and a gnarly band tan. It also appeared as if the ring had been squeezing his finger a little too tight. “Its [sic] gonna take some time for that finger to heal up,” he wrote. So there you have it… for now. If you could only use one descriptive phrase to encapsulate Kylie Jenner, it would likely be something along the lines of “rich af.” But if the person in charge of doling out opportunities in this bizarre hypothetical scenario offered you a second crack at it, you might be inclined to describe Kylie using the word that her family and friends often employ in their praise for the 22-year-old cosmetice mogul — ambitious. Kylie is a born go-getter, and because her ambition is paired with the most fortuitous circumstances a person can be born into, that mentality has resulted in some major achievements. And it seems Kylie has decided the approach that’s served her so well in her business ventures should also be applied to her love life. In case you haven’t noticed, Stormi’s mom is constantly upgrading. She has an eye for rappers, and if you thought she would content herself with a one-(minor)-hit-wonder like Tyga, then you don’t know Kylie. First, Kylie upgraded to Travis Scott, and for a while, it looked as though those two were really in it for the long haul. Kylie and Travis welcomed a child together , and for the last several months of their relationship, rumors of a secret engagement seemed to circulate non-stop. But then — something happened. Was Travis really caught cheating , as so many tabloid headlines have claimed? It might be a while before we know for sure, but in the meantime, it’s becoming more and more clear that Kylie has upgraded yet again. Yes, by now you’ve probably heard the rumors that Kylie is dating Drake . If you’re like us, you probably dismissed the relationship as a mere media fabrication at first. But believe it or not, it looks like Kylie and Drake are actually boning — and not surprisingly, Travis is very pissed about it. “He’s not happy about the budding romance at all,” a source close to the situation tells In Touch Weekly . Apparently, Travis doesn’t know much about the budding romance, as Kylie and Drake have yet to confirm that they’re hooking up. But Mr. Scott has heard the same rumors as the rest of us — and he’s not happy about them. According to witness, Drizzy and Kylizzle “spent a lot of time talking with one another” at a recent event. “They seemed to be enjoying each other’s company,” the onlooker adds. “They were joking around, and Kylie was laughing. There seemed to be an attraction there.” A different source tells People magazine that Kylie and Drake are more than friends, and are interested in each other “romantically.” As for her feelings toward Travis, Kylie recently assured fans that she and the “Sicko Mode” rapper split on good terms. “Travis and I are on great terms, and our main focus right now is Stormi!!” she tweeted on October 3. “Our friendship and our daughter is priority.” However, a source claims there’s major bad blood between Stormi’s parents: “Kylie has serious issues. She has her own life and career and child and can’t watch over him,” an insider tells In Touch . “She is the billionaire megastar, and she feels so insecure about herself because of her relationship. In regards to his departure from Netflix’s “Desperados” in April due to an incident involving an intoxicated female co-worker at a pre-production event in Mexico, Jason states that he was simply looking out for a coworker. “Being the person that I am, I felt responsible to make sure she got home,” Jason Mitchell said. “Because they’re already telling us, like, ‘Don’t take the Ubers, don’t trust these people, don’t jump in a cab, don’t do any of that.’ We’re in Mexico City and we’re in a foreign land and we should stick together. So I make sure she got home and the next day, it kind of all slapped me in the face; I’m not sure if her and her significant other had a situation, I made sure she got home but other than that, nothing really happened.” Jason claims that although he did nothing wrong, he was dismissed from the film with pay but without an explanation as to why he was let go, before apologizing for offending anyone. “For anybody who’s been around me, they know I’m one of the most loving, sweet people in the world, but if I did do anything, say anything, make anybody feel any kind of way, you have my deepest apologies,” Mitchell continued. “Like, honestly, my deepest apologies. Because that was never my intention of making anybody feel any sort of way.” Mitchell also denied any wrong doing with former  The Chi co-star Tiffany Boone , who publicly admitted that she felt “unsafe” around the actor. Mitchell claims that the story was pushed by the hit show’s showrunner Ayanna Floyd Davis. “There was actually no situation with Tiffany Boone,” Jason Mitchell said. “She was put in this position because this lady, Ayanna Floyd Davis, she did come out and go to Deadline and made a statement for Tiffany Boone. I was a little taken back by the whole situation that happened, but the actual reason I got let go was because Disney saw what was going on with ‘Desperados’ and they just bought Showtime,” Mitchell explained. “So they decided not to pick up my option. And of course, I’ve been on the show for what was about to be three seasons, I was nominated for an award, so I was asking for more money and all these sorts of things and they just weren’t down to do it.” Mitchell went onto say that while he is an avid supporter of the “Me Too” movement, it’s situations like his that make it hard to stand in solidarity when someone makes a malicious claim. “I really hate to say this, because I’m all for the Me Too movement,” Mitchell continued. “I have two beautiful daughters who I would like to be in the business, so I’m all for the Me Too movement. Jana Duggar Gets Slammed by Fans: Your Brother Hates Women!

The Duggar family apparently feels like Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal has blown over, folks, because Jed Duggar is running for office . Despite that being a deeply controversial move, his big sister Jana gave him a shout-out and a glowing endorsement. Now, fans are upset with Jana for endorsing someone with upsetting, oppressive platforms like Jed’s. “It was an honor to go to the Arkansas State Capitol today,” Jana’s Instagram post begins. She got “to watch my brother @jed_duggar file as a candidate for House District 89.” “I’m so proud of the man he is,” she gushes. “And,” Jana concludes, “the heart he has for serving the community of Springdale!” “I hope he doesn’t forget that humans, especially women, have rights,” one commenter begins. The comment continues: “Women have the right to many things and he better not take any of it away from them.” “Don’t punch your religious values on people,” the comment concludes. “We don’t want it.” “No offense he’s not going to win,” another follower cautions. “Janna has a better shot at winning than this guy.” “Oh yeah, because he totally understands separation of church and state,” another commenter derides. The follower observes; “He’s been raised to believe nobody other than Christian men have rights.” “And he has no life experience,” that same commenter concludes. Clearly, Jed’s run for office is a disappointment to many fans, and they don’t love Jana endorsing his move. “I’m a Conservative. Pro-Life. Pro Second Amendment. Pro Religious Liberty,” Jed announced alongside his candidacy. The chilling litany of his agenda was enough to alarm plenty of people, even though it is no surprise. He also wrote that he plans to “Combat the Opioid Crisis. Lower Taxes. More Jobs & Growth. Strong Economy.” Jed being 20 years old and lacking any life experience or opinions of his own could really hamper him in any political race. “I’m Jed Duggar. I have grown up in the Springdale area all my life,” he wrote on Instagram. Jed continued: “And as a local small-business owner, I understand the important issues facing the residents and businesses of District 89.” Yes, we’re sure that Jed can relate to all of the other small business owners whose daddies gave them businesses instead of a college education. Clearly, he is hoping that others will overlook his lack of qualifications or experience and simply side with his abhorrent views on human rights. “Northwest Arkansas is the economic engine of our state,” Jed continued. He wrote: our local jobs and state economy depend on elected officials that take a common-sense, business approach to legislative reforms.” “I will fight for sound fiscal policies and tax relief for all Arkansans,” he pledged. It sounds like Jim Bob is angling for a tax break for himself and his fellow millionaires. “I will unequivocally advocate for conservative values,” Jed warned. “I am a Christian and I will stand up for religious liberty,” he emphasized. Religious liberty is a favored euphemism meaning special rights for conservative Christians. At times, laws passed on these grounds directly oppose the rights and beliefs of religious minorities. “:I am pro-life and I will be an advocate for the unborn,” Jed’s grim announcement continued. He continued: “And I will always defend our Second Amendment.” In other words, he’s happy to see people forced to give birth, but once they’re born, it’s basically fine if they die in a hail of bullets. “With your support,” Jed tells his followers. “I will be a strong, conservative voice in Little Rock for District 89.” Some Duggar fans have noted that Jed’s campaign seems to link his address to an apartment. It wouldn’t normally be shocking for a 20-year-old to live on his own, but most 20-year-olds aren’t members of repressive cults. Jim Bob lets his children move out of the house only when married. This seems like a curious exception. Fans believe that Jim Bob wants to make Jed look independent. Who’s going to vote for a man who’s forbidden from having an orgasm? Of course Jana endorsed Jed. Not only did she likely have no choice in the matter, but he’s her brother! The reason that fans were upset is that Jed’s platform just … sucks. The other reason is that Jana endorsing him conflicts with the image of Jana that fans have constructed in their minds. If Jana is really a rebel against the horrible beliefs of her family, she’s really good at hiding it. Kourtney Kardashian Shows Off Stretch Marks: Everybody Has Them!

Late this summer, Kourtney Kardashian flaunted her stretch marks on social media, turning heads and earning praise. Kourt notices that her followers approved, and came up with a plan. Now, she’s showing off her “tiger stripes” again, and this time, it’s for a very savvy purpose. Kourtney Kardashian posted this mouth-watering photo to Instagram. Notably, she didn’t share it on her personal Instagram — but on her Poosh side account. While it’s hard to make out in the photo, Kourt does actually have stretch marks. The hot bikini pic was accompanied by a message. “Stretch marks: we’ve all got them,” the caption begins. The Poosh caption then asks: “Looking to minimize the appearance of yours?” Naturally, Poosh being her lifestyle brand and all, the caption then directs followers to click a link to learn how. Most models use their perfections to sell products, so it’s a bit of a change for Kourtney to use her “flaws.” There are a number of modes of thinking about stretch marks. The first is that they are unsightly, and though they can arise from a growth spurt, pregnancy, or exercise, are associated with unwanted weight gain. People of this line of thinking want to do their best to prevent stretch marks from appearing in the first place. When they do get stretch marks, they want to try whatever solutions — Poosh or otherwise — that will mask these marks. Another line of thinking, of course, is that Kourtney and anyone else shouldn’t want to hide these marks. They are, after all, part of your body. Nobody picks their flesh prison. Since there is nothing unhealthy about stretch marks, many feel that the stigma should end. Along with that stigma, people should therefore lose the desire to hide them, as they’re just part of one’s skin. However, both of these diametrically opposed viewpoints kind of … miss the point. Yes, of course there shouldn’t be any stigma about stretch marks. it’s just something that happens to human skin. But that doesn’t mean that Kourtney, or people who take advice from Poosh, are doing anything wrong. Some people embrace their marks while others want to minimize them. Everybody gets to control what they do to their own meatsuit. Kourtney is very clearly not shaming anyone who has stretch marks with this ad. When last she shared her marks, she wrote: “I love my little stripes.” Also, the ad both affirms that everyone has them and then asks if the reader is looking for a change. That’s it. If you’re not looking to change your looks, then the ad is not saying anything about you. That’s an improvement over a lot of beauty ads. Kourtney turned 40 this past April. Compared to some of her siblings, she’s getting into the “personal brand” business a little late. Sure, she hada  brand, but she wasn’t profiting from it as aggressively as Kim or Kylie. Kim’s array of products range from makeup to a mobile game, and have led her to have a net worth of a third of a billion dollars. Kylie Cosmetics, of course, is worth a full billion. Kylie became a mother and a billionaire at a shockingly young age. Now that Kourtney’s dipping her toes into the world, her fans hope that Poosh will do something similar for her. Jessica Mulroney: Meghan Markle’s BFF Gets Body Shamed For Swimsuit Pic, Claps Back In Epic Fashion

Well, it seems the baseless contempt for Meghan Markle — a woman who’s worst crimes appear to be marrying the man she loves and devoting her life to humanitarian work — has reached the level of a global epidemic. At this point, no one in Meghan’s orbit is safe from the barrage of criticism and disparagement that endlessly issues forth from both the media and a distressingly large army of online trolls. Prince Harry, so recently beloved by the British press as “the Fun Royal” must now contend with bullying and harassment that seems to be motivated by nothing more than bigoted antipathy directed at his wife. Given that his mother was killed while fleeing a relentless band of paparazzi, it should come as no surprise that Harry has decided to take action by speaking out against the media’s mistreatment of Meghan and filing lawsuits against the worst offenders. Unfortunately, internet commenters are not bound by the same rules as the British tabloids (lax as those rules are). And Meghan’s most committed haters have figured out how to target her indirectly by taking shots at her friends and family. That’s how you wind up with idiot trolls swarming a photo of Meghan’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney. Jessica is a 39-year-old Canadian stylist who first befriended Meghan on the set of Suits . She posted the below photo while vacationing in the Carribean with her family this week. “Brings ten bathing suits… only gets to wear one on a balcony. All work no play in Cayman. I WILL BE BACK to play in the water with the kiddies,” she captioned the pic. Seems innocent enough, right? Well, normally it would be — but because Jessica is Meghan’s best friend , the pic attracted haters like flies to honey. “Does silicone float easily?” said one critic. “If so, no need for your kids to wear life jackets. The silicone on your chest should do that job just fine for them.” “You look amazing. No question. But how is this helping women …if they can simply never achieve the picture of beauty you are selling?” another commented. And believe it or not, some of the responses were even more rude and ridiculous than that. Thankfully, Jessica did not bow to the pressure. The pic remains on her Instagram page, and she added a little message for her most fervent haters: “Note to self. Never ever post another picture of myself in a bathing suit. Only wear parkas by the beach,” Mulroney wrote.   “Apparently a picture in a bathing suit is offensive to my career, some followers, the charities I work with and my children,” she continued. “But guess what… I don’t care. Thank you to my supportive followers who stand up to body shaming. Everyone else, get a clue.” Fortunately, Jess also received a good deal of support from fans: “Thank you for not taking this picture down despite the criticism. Women should be empowered to own their bodies no matter what shape and size they are,” wrote one commenter.  “You look amazing and should be damn proud of it!” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. After ages of silence, Selena Gomez has returned to us . By which we mean that she's making posts and music again. Some of that music has appeared to be directly aimed at her infamous ex, Justin Bieber, who got married just months after their last breakup. Now, a brilliant mashup of two of their songs frame the disparate tracks as part of a single conversation. Selena Gomez's lyrics in “Lose You To Love Me” are not what you'd call subtle or veiled. People spent decades debating the subject of Carly Simon's “You're So Vain.” Everybody knows that Selena's singing about the Biebs. Similarly, Justin's 2015 hit, “Sorry,” seemed to be offering a (monetizable) public apology for being a dickbag to Selena. Now, those songs have been fused into one mashup. It's a truly galaxy-brained decision. This isn't just some sappy fusion of music by a pair of exes. “It's too late now to say sorry,” Justin acknowledges in his song. As YouTube commenters pointed out, Selena sings: “Yeah.” It's no wonder that this mashup has more than 100,000 positive ratings vs only about 1,000 downvotes by, we assume, Hailey Baldwin stans. Andy Wu is the Los Angeles-based filmmaker, editor, and music producer who crafted the mashup. “It’s been 3 years since I made JELENA Megamix (2008-2016),” he acknowledges below the video. Wu adds: “Now their chapter is officially closed and done.” “I guess it’s time for everyone to move on,” he concludes. That is very correct. The mashup itself makes for easy listening if you're a big fan of both artists. If you're a diehard Selena Gomez admirer but can't often tolerate the sound of men singing, you may just want to stick to “Lose You To Love Me.” But it's worth taking a shot at the mashup, which we have included in this post. A lot of celebrities sing about their exes, but it's rare to see two such songs work together so very well. It's no surprise that Selena is singing about the Biebs … again. In late 2017, she and Justin reunited after he bent over backwards to convince her that he had changed … and that God wanted them to get together. They dated again for months, only to break up in early 2018. Whew. Just a few months later, Justin was back to dating his other ex, Hailey Baldwin. Weeks later, the two became engaged. We can't speak to what was going through Justin's mind at the time. Maybe he was just super inspired by Ariana Grande's engagement to Pete Davidson (remember that?). Maybe it was related to the controversial church that he attends — the same church that treats him like a prince and helps out on his “church dates.” Or maybe the Biebs had just reached a point in his life where he wanted to be married, and Hailey seemed like a solid plan B. As unfair as all of that is to Hailey herself (and we really do love Hailey; she deserved better context for her engagement and marriage), she's not the only victim. How did Selena feel after months of Justin insisting that they were divinely ordained, only to see him taking Hailey on the exact same church dates? Well, we don't have to wonder what she was feeling. She's expressing it all through song. At least in this mashup, she gets something of a real apology from the worst mistake she ever kept making.
