Brooke Houts, Popular YouTube Star, Accused of Serious Dog Abuse

Brooke Houts, a well-known YouTube personality with over 337,000 subscribers, is under major fire right now after a video went viral in which it appears she is spitting on her dog and also hitting the animal. It is very disturbing to watch. The footage was accidentally uploaded to her account, various outlets have speculated, after Houts meant to post an altered version of her “plastic wrap prank on my doberman” video. In the shocking video, viewers see Brooke smacking the innocent pooch, who is named Sphinx, multiple times. She also screams at him and forcefully shoves the canine to the ground, all while recording something for YouTube that she meant to edit into some sort of humorous post. The footage has drawn the attention of the Los Angeles Police Department. “Our Animal Cruelty Task Force has received numerous complaints about the video, an LAPD media representative told The Verge.  “And we are currently looking into the matter.” As for what may have happened here? The current version of the video, which had its comments disabled and was downvoted over 27,000 times, does NOT include any of these digusting and violent clips described above. Hence why many are assuming Houts never meant to upload the original, complete version. Following the immediate and understandable outrage over the video — which we refuse to share here — Houts issued a lengthy apology and explanation on Twitter. “I want to clarify that I am NOT a dog abuser or animal abuser in any way, shape or form,” she wrote, adding: “Anyone who has witnessed or heard true animal abuse will be able to clearly see that.” Not exactly the strongest defense, that second sentence. Continued the social media user: “I want to address the uncut footage … I’m clearly actually frustrated [in the video]. That being said, this does NOT justify me yelling at my dog in the way that I did, and I’m fully aware of that. “Should I have gotten as angry as I did in the video? No. Should I have raised my voice and yelled at him? No. “However, when my 75 lb. Doberman is jumping up in my face with his mouth open, I do, as a dog parent, have to show him that this behavior is unacceptable.” The YouTube personality also claimed that she’s working on her own behavioral issues, too. “I know I’ll be in many future situations where he’s being physical, but I will not respond this way again,” she said, continuing as follows: “I am getting my dog into training, and I’m looking at ways to improve how I personally train him at home. … I know that I am a great dog mom (but not perfect)… “I’m just explaining what my day-to-day life is really like, whether you believe me or not.” Again, can’t say any of these words makes us very sympathetic to Houts. How about you? Reaction has been swift and disparaging. Heck, even disgraced YouTube star Logan Paul had harsh words for Houts, Tweeting this message: “discipline your animals should they misbehave. i get it “but despite the hitting, the spitting is a totally unwarranted, inappropriate, and vile display of energy that makes this woman completely unfit to own that dog.” Houts, of course, says she did not spit on the dog. But, hey, it’s not any of us that she needs to convince. It’s the police.

Khloe Kardashian: STOP Telling Me How to Get Over Tristan’s Cheating!

Even though Khloe Kardashian insists that she’ll never hate Tristan Thompson , that doesn’t mean that she’s not hurting. It looks like someone — or several someones — has been offering up some unsolicited advice on how Khloe should cope. Khloe is making it extremely clear that sh doesn’t need or want anybody else’s suggestions. Khloe Kardashian has taken to her Instagram Stories to issue some advice to her fans and followers. “PSA: Please don’t tell people how to heal,” one of her Stories begins. Khloe’s words continue: “from something you’ve never been through.” That is fairly good advice. Unsolicited suggestions can range from annoying to downright torture for people who are suffering. If they want your advice, they’ll ask you for it. Khloe shared another message to her Stories, one that may or may not be related. “Be lowkey,” Khloe’s text reads. The post goes on to advise all readers to “Stay in your lane.” If you’re unfamiliar with the expression, it means to keep out of business that does not concern you. “F–k with yourself heavy,” the advice concludes. That means to be involved with yourself and to love yourself. Is it possible that Khloe is vagueposting about one specific person? Maybe Kim or Kourtney or Kris has been trying to tell her how they think that she should cope with Tristan’s cheating scandal. (Yes, heartbreak can still be sad, months or even years later) At the same time, maybe Khloe is speaking to her fans. Twitter randos telling her to do X type of yoga or whatever to feel at peace aren’t actually helping. Like, at all. As we mentioned, Khloe recently assured fans that she will never hate Tristan Thompson for what he did to her. “Why would I ever hate anyone who helped create such an angel?” she asked, referring to sweet baby True. “People make mistakes,” she affirmed. “But,” Khloe promised. “I won’t hurt my own healing by holding onto hate.” A number of people believe that hating someone is a sign of righteous moral fortitude and clarity. However, it appears that Khloe feels that hating someone is toxic for one’s own spiritual well-being. “I’m too busy raising my beautiful baby and securing that [money] to hate any individual,” Khloe promised. You know what? That’s fair. We’re sure that we’d have less time for resentments if we were filthy rich, too. The proud mother correctly observed: “Sweet True has always looked like her daddy.” She does and she is just as cute as a button! “She’s beautiful!!” Khloe’s message concluded. Unsolicited advice sometimes feels like “helping” to the giver, but it is often anything but. No one knows this better than the chronically ill and disabled communities, who are often given unwanted and even dangerous advice. So many people want to think that following a few simple steps or lifestyle changes can “fix” everything in their lives. Khloe’s hurt feelings aren’t going away if she drinks the right kind of kale smoothie or whatever. Let her address her own hurts in her own time. If she wants help or advice, she’ll make it known. According to a shocking new report, the answer to a question posed just a few days ago by this very website is… yes . What did we ask? What were our readers wondering about? Whether Jinger Duggar had changed after her move to Los Angeles. A number of long-time fans have noted of late that the ever-stylish Jinger seems to be finding new fashion inspirations on the West Coast, now that she lives there full-time with her husband, Jeremy. The latest example? Footwear that very much looked like it came straight from the Gucci factory. Announced the reality stars in March: “As excited as we are to begin this new adventure, leaving Laredo this July will be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done; our friends here have become like family. “Please pray for us as we open this new chapter of our lives.” Jinger  rocked pants and heels at a recent movie premiere , taking fans of her family far aback… … but now Radar Online confirms that Duggar has gone even more Hollywood of late. Jinger and Jeremy also said a short while back that they would be attending Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, and the aforementioned website has now confirmed as much. In new photos obtained by Radar, Jinger looks to be happier than ever as she and Jeremy take their one-year-old daughter, Felicity, to this church. She also looks to be more tan and more blonde than ever before. Jinger and Jeremy have moved into a $685,000 San Fernando Valley home with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a huge front yard. In these pictures published by Radar , Jinger shows off a bit of skin as she made her way through her new city in a floral dress that went to her knees. According to an onlooker, Jinger and Jeremy could not stop gushing over little Felicity, with the proud parents showing off their precious infant to local members of the church in this same photo collection. The witness added to Radar that Jinger and Jeremy already feel at home in California, at least based on the way they were acting this past Sunday. “Jinger obviously just wanted to make sure Felicity was doing well [during the church outing],” said the source. Wendy Williams: Only Kevin Hunter Can Save My Show from Cancelation!

We don’t normally say this, but …  poor Wendy Williams has had a hell of a year . She’s had illness, addiction, a major injury, scandals, multiple hiatuses, an ugly public divorce, and now rumors that her show will be canceled. Wendy is desperate to stay on the air — and reportedly begging her ex to help her keep her show. RadarOnline  reports that Wendy Williams wants Kevin Hunter back as her business manager. “She’s begging her husband to come back to save her show,” the insider reveals. It turns out that she (of course) sees all of the same rumors and reports that the rest of us do. The source says: “Wendy is reading all the reports about her show ending after next season.” “She’s hearing her staff is looking for new jobs,” the insider notes. According to reports, Wendy is definitely returning for Season 11 — though that premiere is weeks away. The issue is that rumors say that there will be no Season 12. “She sees Kevin as the solution,” the source says. Wait, what in the world would she need that cheater for? She’s  Wendy Freaking Williams ! The insider explains that Wendy is “deeply insecure about her own success.” Why does Wendy seem to think that she needs Kevin in order to continue to be a success? “Kevin was with her from day one,” the source points out. “She has never made a big successful business decision without him,” the insider reveals. That’s wild — and might make her feel like she needs him even when she does not. “And now,” the source says, Wendy “feels everything falling apart.” Wendy is willing to bend over backwards to keep her career afloat. “She will do anything to save her show,” the insider affirms. Even if that means hiring her cheating ex husband despite their very contentious divorce, she’s ready to make that happen. The source says that she’d consider “even getting back with him.” Getting back with him professionally, of course. Now, this report is not confirmed, and the same is true for the reports that came before it. Wendy herself has openly suggested that the show may not go on forever, but that’s just common sense and knowing how time works. We can never speak to what may be going on in Wendy’s mind, of course. But we have to imagine that she has other potential experts at her disposal who are not her ex husband. Who  wants  their ex as their business manager? No one. No one at all. Perhaps this hiatus between seasons will be good for Wendy. She can continue to relax and get accustomed to her new life without the distraction of the show. Hopefully, this time will help her to reach a healthy sense of perspective, if she is in need of one. There is nothing that Kevin Hunter has to offer that she can’t get from another expert in business who has never cheated on her. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Fans to Bravo: Fire Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp!

Lisa Vanderpump is no longer a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She left the franchise by choice, of course. Now, however, a number of Bravo viewers are now urging executives to make sure a pair of veteran reality stars follow Lisa out the door. These folks are just dying to say farewell to Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp. Not long after Vanderpump confirmed she was leaving the series because she was sick of all the fighting and negativity, a change.org petition has started to make the rounds. It currently has over 3,900 signatures on it and it lays out the argument for why Richards and Mellencamp deserve to get fired. The online document was launched at the end of July and surpassed its halfway goal for signatures by August 6, making it clear that this isn’t the work of a tiny minority. There’s at least some segment of the Real Housewives fandom that believes Kyle and Teddi crossed a line with the way they treated Vanderpump this past season. “Kyle has continuously slandered Lisa Vanderpump by accusing her of leaking stories…Kyle has persistently accused Lisa with no proof whatsoever,” the petition’s creator writes. As loyal viewers know, of course, this is a reference to the scandal that became known this spring as PuppyGate . It centered around the allegation that Vanderpump leaked a story about Dorit Kemsley’s rescue puppies (from Vanderpump Dogs) ending up at a shelter after Dorit chose to give them away. Lisa ended her friendship with Kyle after the latter doubted her innocence, which the restaurateur further tried to prove by passing two lie detector tests on air. It may actually jeopardize the Beverly Hills franchise ratings. In the wake of the most recent season coming to an end, Vanderpump’s husband has also come out swinging against his wife’s former colleagues. “Their pettiness says everything.
