But no more, Deadline reports Mitchell’s role will definitely not be coming back and will be killed off on the show. The upcoming third season of #TheChi won’t feature one of the series’ leads, Jason Mitchell, who was let go in May over allegations of inappropriate behavior https://t.co/l4bhLdXdCq — Deadline Hollywood (@DEADLINE) August 2, 2019 Mitchell was fired after season 2 wrapped when misconduct allegations levied against the actor went public. Following Showtime’s TCA executive session, the networks President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed Mitchell’s character, Brandon will be killed off. When asked by Deadline if Brandon would get a proper ending following his abrupt exit, Levine stated: “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it.” Mitchell was accused back in May of inappropriate behavior by actress Tiffany Boone who plays his on-screen girlfriend in the show. He was subsequently fired after multiple incidents continued to happen despite going through HR training. The fallout following impacted his career immensely. His MTV movie nomination was rescinded, his agency UTA dropped him, and he was replaced on an upcoming Netflix movie titled Desperados. Lena Waithe also faced backlash because she knew what was going on the set of The Chi but was accused of not swiftly acting. She is set to have a role in the upcoming third season of the show. This news also comes on the heels of actress Afton Williamson announced on Sunday she will be quitting the ABC drama The Rookie . She filed claims of sexual harassment and racial discrimination. Mitchell is still set to star in A24 studio’s film based on the captivating Twitter story that followed a stripper named Zola. That could all change, Mitchell’s star caught fire after his riveting performance as Eazy-E in the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton. Looks like it is fizzling out quickly. Valentina Sampaio Named Victoria’s Secret’s First Transgender Model

Valentina Sampaio has reportedly made history. According to the 22-year old herself, assuming we’re interpreting her latest Instagram message correctly, Sampaio has been hired to appear in an upcoming Victoria’s Secret campaign. And what, exactly, would make this notable and, as mentioned above, historic?  Sampaio would become the first openly transgender model to pose  for the lingerie company, which has been trying to rebrand of late. The Brazilian beauty just shared the photo featured here of herself sitting in a bathrobe backstage at what she writes was a photo shoot for the company’s PINK line on Long Island, New York. “Backstage click @vspink #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #model #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio #bomdia,” Sampaio wrote. It’s unclear whether she also set the record for hashtags with this caption. Sampaio also posted a selfie video on this same account, making the same general reference to her Victoria’s Secret hiring. “Never stop dreaming genteee #staytuned #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio,” she wrote, later adding: “Life is amazing… Love more and hate less, hate is useless, just do not waste time with it!” In a statement to E! News, Sampaio’s manager Erio Zanon praised his client for creating history with this “amazing and groundbreaking” news. “She is super happy and proud to represent all her community,” he says. “She hopes this opportunity shall be another step to break barriers.” For the record: Neither Victoria’s Secret nor its parent company, L Brands, have yet commented this seemingly huge announcement. It’s worth noting, though, that Sampaio’s hiring would come just as the company looks to rebrand amid declining sales — and following controversial remarks that the group’s chief marketing officer made last year about the idea of including transgender and plus-size models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show… … which has since been canceled . Assuming Sampaio really is now a Victoria’s Secret model, the reaction online has mostly been very positive. With a few exceptions, of course, as you might expect. “First transgender to shoot with Vs! This make me so happy!” Victoria’s Secret Angel and fellow Brazilian model Lais Ribiero Tweeted on Saturday. “Wow finally!” added fellow transgender star, LGBTQ+ activist and Orange Is the New Black alum Laverne Cox. In 2017, Sampaio also made fashion history by becoming the first transgender model to appear on the cover of a Vogue publication, specifically Vogue Paris. What a win, finding a way to replace women in the workforce with men who identify as a woman, taking us back to Shakespeare days when actors weren’t allowed to be women, so they used the Dainty men to be the women… This tranny, is the first they are admitting is a tranny, in what I assume is a secret weapon in relevance. You know to show the people that they can be inclusive…after they have seen sales drop, are closing down stores, because people don’t support them, they are dated, over priced trash and mom and pop instagram sites are taking over the underwear market. Victoria’s Secret is just mall brand shit with bullshit marketing that hasn’t evolved and their models are all dated. Young people just aren’t into it…it is lame… So maybe this will increase the cool to younger people who are all trans…it is a trend…a silly trend but a trend we pander to. The fact is that dudes love trans. When I worked in DVD porn it was always the biggest selling titles and it was straight dudes buying that shit….I don’t love trans. I find it terrifying but many people who claim to be straight that I know fucking love it. So they’ll appreciate jerking off to this, as the line between girl you meet in a club and girl you meet in a club who dupes you and actually has a dick…she expect to teach you a lesson with….are blurred. And I will say…better a skinny tranny who looks like a hot chick than a fat chick.. The actor was dismissed after misconduct allegations on the set became public, so it really come as a surprise. But just in case, spoilers ahead, but not really. According to Deadline , Mitchell’s character Brandon will be killed off. The actor was fired after Season 2 wrapped, which put exactly how the character would be removed in limbo—and now we know. When asked by Deadline after the network’s TCA executive session, Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed that Brandon is being killed off. “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it,” Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine told Deadline when confirming the character’s demise. Back in May. Mitchell was accused of inappropriate behavior on the set with female co-star Tiffany Boone. However, he only got the heave-ho after multiple incidents and after it continued despite HR training. Executive produced and created by Lena Waithe, The Ch i is headed into its third season.

Amber Portwood continues to make very strong insinuations and accusations on social media. The embattled Teen Mom OG star, who was arrested on July 5 for felony assault against Andrew Glennon, took to her official Instagram account one month after this incident and seemed to make a very bold claim. What did she say? What should we take from this since-deleted message? And how might this affect the case against Amber going forward? Scroll down to help us figure out the answer to these pressing questions… 1. Remember How Amber and Andrew’s Fight Started? We don’t need to rehash the entire morning of the arrest here, but it took place on July 5. The coupld allegedly got into an argument a few hours after they hit traffic and therefore missed out on a July Fourth fireworks show. 2. From There? Amber went off on Andrew, he told police, throwing a shoe at his head and eventually taking a machete to a closed bathroom door, behing which Andrew was hiding with 14-month old son James. 3. It Got Really Bad Andrew told the cops that he feared for both his life and the life of James, who he was holding in his arms at the time. 4. What Has Amber Said About the Arrest Itself? Nothing at all. We’re sure she has to keep quiet for legal reasons, but sources have said she denies the machete part of this story and that she DID throw a shoe at Glennon, but it barely grazed his face. 5. What Has Amber Said About Andrew? That’s a different story. She has seemingly shaded him on multiple occasions, perhaps trying to subtly offer up a few reasons for her alleged attack. 6. For Example? Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Woman Used Obituaries To Rob People That Were Attending Funerals According to the New York Post , a Bronx woman is being accused of preying on the grieving families by allegedly looking up the obituaries of their loved ones online and then burglarizing the homes of the family members while they were attending the funeral services. Latonia Shelecia Stewart, 26, was slapped with multiple charges connected to six different break-ins that were reported between fall 2017 and spring 2018. Prosecutors claim she targeted people who were attending their spouse’s wake or funeral services. She would allegedly look up the obituaries of the person who died and then track down where their loved ones lived  and assumed they wouldn’t be home during the funeral and steal jewelry and other personal items from the residences. Stewart was attempting to break into the home of a dead person on May 1, 2018, when cops caught her in the act. She allegedly had their obituary on her cellphone and her baby in the back seat. She is facing 22 counts of burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, criminal mischief, possession of burglar’s tools and three motor vehicle violations.
