Teen Mom Stars’ Income Revealed: Who’s the Richest of ‘Em All?!

One of the cool things about being on Teen Mom is that you make a lot of money. Like, a lot . The moms and the original dads make hundreds of thousands of dollars per season, if you can even believe it, and they also get to travel for free if MTV is filming, which is pretty neat since we've been seeing a lot more vacations on the show recently. But besides the show itself, cast members are pulling in crazy amounts of cash from all kinds of wild and crazy places. “Like where?” you may be wondering. Well, wonder no further … 1. Dang As we’ve said, the original cast members — the moms and the dads of their first children — all make the same amount, which is somewhere in the neighborhood of $350,000 to $400,000 a season. But what else does everyone do? 2. Amber Portwood Let’s start with reviewing Amber’s side hustles — this will be the easiest to do, because she really doesn’t have any. 3. Not Much She shares articles on her Instagram page, which brings in some money, and she did appear on that one season of Marriage Boot Camp a couple of years ago, so that’s something. 4. A Quick Hobby For a little while there, she got into flipping houses with Matt Baier, but she hasn’t done that since he’s been gone. 5. Forever Haute She did have that sketchy clothing company for a little while, Forever Haute, but she hasn’t talked about it in a very long time, and the brand’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated for a year and a half, so it’s probably safe to say that that’s done. 6. Well … Right now, she’s facing years in prison after assaulting Andrew Glennon, so she’s probably not thinking so much about her next business venture, you know? View Slideshow

Since her foray into the legal system, Kim has advocated on behalf of former inmates Alice Marie Johnson , Momolu Stewart, and Matthew Charles, all of whom were released after serving lengthy prison sentences. Now, she’s setting her sights on Rodney Reed. Late Friday night, Kardashian tweeted about watching the forthcoming film Just Mercy , starring Jamie Foxx and Michael B. Jordan. After watching the movie, she was inspired to further look into a case she’s been reading about for the last week. I just saw the movie Just Mercy, the film about Bryan Stevenson's book starring Jamie Foxx & Michael B Jordan. wow I cried!!! I know it doesn't come out until January but you all have to see this!!! I have been hearing about him and his story for the last week. On Nov. 20, Texas will execute Rodney Reed. I believe he is innocent. — Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) October 19, 2019 She then goes on to tag Texas Governor Greg Abbott, asking him to do the right thing and not execute Rodney Reed. Kim wrote, “How can you execute a man when since his trial, substantial evidence that would exonerate Rodney Reed has come forward and even implicates the other person of interest.” PLEASE @GovAbbott How can you execute a man when since his trial, substantial evidence that would exonerate Rodney Reed has come forward and even implicates the other person of interest. I URGE YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THING. — Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) October 19, 2019 Reed was convicted of raping and murdering a white woman and was sentenced to death by an all-white jury in Texas in 1998. Rodney has maintained his innocence the entire time, and now, him and his family are seeking justice before his scheduled execution on November 20. On October 10 and 11, Reed’s story was featured on Dr. Phil’s two-part series about the controversial case. A Change.org  petition has also been launched, which has since garnered nearly 70,000 signatures. Hopefully, the extra attention gained from Kim K’s call out will be enough to get this man free, or at the very least, a free trial.

Joseline began lobbing low blows at the wife of Dr. Eugene Harris after they disagreed on whether motherhood was a job or not, criticizing everything from her reported tax liens to the way she was dressed. Bush-Harris said she was caught off guard by the Puerto Rican Princess during a scene at Buffie Purselle’s party. But she said she’s not surprised that she came out swinging and questioned if she’d googled her before their encounter. “I think that right now she’s finding herself in a place where she’s losing her relevance on television,” Bush-Harris told BOSSIP. “She has a lot of social media followers, but when it comes to television, she hasn’t seen herself in a while. T think she saw it as an opportunity to get back on a network.” The married mom of two’s journey this season hasn’t been an easy one, and she’s struggled with the fallout from a miscarriage and paying back a six-figure tax bill. Bush-Harris said she’ tried to use her reality show fame to create teachable moments for viewers and fans, and hopes that she helped others by being so candid. “We’re not perfect and we made mistakes,” Bush-Harris said. “It’s not something that everybody comes back from. Sometimes you get so bogged down that you can’t come back up…But we’re in a better place.”

Meghan Markle Gets Emotional: No One Ever Asks How I’m Doing!

Many of us grew up on fairy tales that conclude with the commoner heroine marrying her prince and living happily ever after. Perhaps the story ends there because no one wants to see the princess spend the rest of her life in a fishbowl, forced to endure a constant barrage of lies and speculation, all the while prohibited from fighting back by the strictures of royal decorum.   Of course, anyone who’s curious about the pains and frustrations of such an existence need only look at the life of Meghan Markle. When she first married Prince Harry , Meghan seemed to have it all. Sadly, in the year that followed, she experienced firsthand just how much vitriol the sight of a mixed-race royal brings out in many Britons — some of whom, shockingly, are members of the press. Obviously, Meghan has been black her whole life, and she dealt with racism in its many vile forms before she became a royal. But could anything have prepared her for hit pieces about how she ruined Harry’s life by marrying him and giving him a child? Is there any way she could have braced herself for the pearl-clutching that would ensue when some stodgy traditionalist declared that she failed to curtsy properly? The other royals may have done their best to caution Meg about the hard times ahead, but as they’ve never experienced such abuse themselves, they were ill-equipped to do so. For the most part, Meghan has endured this abuse with admirable restraint. But as much as the Windsors might stress the importance of a stiff-upper-lip, Meghan is only human, and she became noticeably emotional during a recent interview for an upcoming documentary about her travels in Africa: “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know,” she says gesturing to her interviewer. “And especially as a woman, it’s a lot… So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed,” the Duchess of Sussex continues. “It’s um…yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.” Asked if she’s “not really okay” and whether she’s struggled in recent months, Meghan says, “Yes.” It’s uncommon for any public figure to speak so candidly about the pressures of motherhood and life in the public. For someone as visible as Meghan to do it is incredibly courageous. Hopefully, the British tabloid press will keep this in mind next time they decide to dogpile her for repeating an outfit. Felicity Huffman Refused to Talk to Lori Loughlin Before Prison

Earlier this week, actress Felicity Huffman reported to prison to begin serving a 14-day sentence. As you probably know, Huffman is one of the famous faces of the college admissions bribery scandal . And while she’s the first celebrity to get locked up for the bribes she doled out in order to ensure her daughter a place in the school of her choice, she almost certainly won’t be the last. After all, Huffman accepted a plea deal and prosecutors still made an example of her. (Sure it was the lightest slap on the wrist imaginable, but they imprisoned a rich, well-connected white woman in America, which is no easy feat.) Conversely, actress Lori Loughlin refused a plea deal and is planning to take her chances in court. And we think it’s safe to say she’s beginning to have second thoughts after seeing what became of Huffman. Insiders Loughlin still believes she’ll be able to avoid doing time, but is now contemplating the possibility for the first time. According to a new report from People magazine, Loughlin attempted to reach out to Huffman recently in order to get a read on how the actress was feeling about her upcoming sentence. Not surprisingly, it seems Huffman didn’t feel up to having a chat: “She wanted to encourage her, and see how she was doing,” a source close to the situation tells People. “She feels like their fates are tied together now, even though they weren’t really friends before.” Sounds like Huffman just wants this whole ordeal to be over with and has no interest in commiserating with her co-conspirators. But like it or not, it seems she’ll be getting another call from Aunt Becky shortly after her release: “She wants to debrief Felicity after jail to find out what it was like and what her advice would be,” says the insider. “She feels like Felicity’s time in jail will be an indicator on her own time, and she’s extremely curious to know how it goes.” Not surprisingly, Loughlin is hoping Huffman will reassure her that life on the inside isn’t all that bad: “She’s definitely hoping that Felicity’s time in prison will go easy for her, because that will be a positive sign that, if Lori has to serve time, that she’ll be able to weather it as well,” the source says. “Of course, it’s still very important for her to be exonerated of all charges against her,” the insider continues. “She still maintains her innocence and hopes it won’t come to that. But if she does end up serving time in prison, she wants to know what she’s getting into.” Lori might still be holding out hope that the judge will go easy on her, but that seems increasingly unlikely. While her trial date has not yet been set, it looks as though Loughlin will be going from Full House to the big house sometime in early 2020.

Nathan Griffith DUI Details Revealed: He Was Passed Out at the Wheel at 5 PM?!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere! That's something your alcoholic friend might say when he's looking to pound some tequila shots on his lunch break. But even that maniac would probably look down his nose at the sort of person who gets passed-out drunk before most folks are even out of work — on a weekday, no less! Nathan Griffith, on the other hand has no qualms about getting absolutely sh-thoused on a random Thursday while the sun's still out. As we reported earlier today, Griffith was arrested on DUI charges last night. Now we know the details of his latest brush with the law, and frankly — we're a little worried for the guy. Take a look: 1. Not on His Best Behavior Griffith was booked and held on $10,000 bond after being arrested on DUI charges near his home in North Carolina yesterday. 2. A Very Bad Habit Troublingly, this was not Griffith’s first DWI. In fact, it’s not his second, either. The 32-year-old been arrested for the offense on at least THREE prior occasions. 3. The Bright Side Thankfully, Griffith hasn’t killed anyone with his reckless behavior. But that doesn’t mean he’ll walk away from this latest situation consequence-free. 4. Kaiser In the Middle Not only is Nathan facing jail time, he’s set to square off against Jenelle Evans in a battle for custody of his son, Kaiser. Needless to say, this brush with the law won’t improve his chances of winning. 5. A Rare Victory Jenelle hasn’t done a whole lot of winning lately (or ever?), but Nathan just made it much more likely that she’ll be granted full custody of Kaiser — especially once the judge finds out the details of Griffith’s latest arrest. 6. Derick Dillard on Jim Bob Duggar: He Keeps All the Money and Lets His Kids Starve!

We hate to say we told you so, but — well, we’re about to do exactly that. For months now, rumors of a feud between Jill Duggar and her parents have been circulating non-stop. And earlier this week, we reported that both parties are no longer making much of an effort to conceal their mutual disdain for one another. It all started when the entire Duggar clan went to LA to visit Jinger  — and left Jill at home. (Joy-Anna Duggar didn’t make the trip either, but that’s because she was on an elk hunting trip in Colorado with her husband’s family.) That wasn’t the only recent indication of bad blood, but it’s a pretty major public snub from a family that usually prefers to keep its beefs under wraps. And now, it looks as though Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, has decided to respond in kind. Way back in March of 2018, a fan on Twitter asked Derick about the rumor that he tried to get TLC to pay for Jill’s hospital bills after she delivered their baby. Now, as we know from the many times that Derick bullied Jazz Jennings on Twitter, the guy is very, very active on the site. But for some reason, he waited until today — 19 months after the question was asked! — to respond to the hospital bill query: “Derick did you ask TLC to pay a hospital bill, if so why?” the fan tweeted last year. “I thought it was fair to ask in negotiating … TLC made lots of money in filming a birth special episode, and they had not offered to pay us anything,” Dillard replied today . “So I thought, at the very least, they could reimburse 5-10K for medical expenses. TLC sure made more than that off of us.”  Now, it seems to us that Jim Bob had slapped a muzzle on Derick and forbidden him to talk about the family’s business relationship with TLC. These days, however, it appears that Derick is fully off the leash. And if that little exchange wasn’t enough to convince you that Der is no longer worried about protecting Jim Bob’s public image, check this out:  “So why does Jim Bob get all the money for the show and doesn’t give any to his children? The actual stars of the show,” the fan followed up, prompting Derick to reply: “I don’t know. You would have to ask him that.” Folks, that’s some serious shade. Sure, it’s not the level of trash talk one typically hears from feuding reality stars, but these are the Duggars we’re talking about. This might be the closest we ever get to to a public declaration of war — and we can’t wait to see hoe Jim Bob responds!
