Some hair mavens will say that time, patience and a solid hair regimen is all you need, while others would say that a healthy diet is the way to go. While there are plenty of ways to grow your hair out, there is one option that continues to be a hot topic: hair supplements. And we’ve seen them all! From well known hair brands like The Mane Choice and Hairfinity creating their own hair vitamins, it leaves us wondering if these hair supplements actually work? As someone who uses hair vitamins regularly, I would have to say that they do work, but all brands are not created equal. The truth is, hair supplements comes in handy for anyone looking to grow their hair, it’s all about finding the right brand for you. But like most hair mavens and nutritionists believe, these supplements can help you achieve long tresses , but only in conjunction with a healthy diet. What better place to air out your dirty laundry than a nationally syndicated television game show? He went on to describe his family, saying his “old battle-axe named Kim” cursed his life with three stepchildren and one grandson who he describes as “rotten.” Sajak has apparently heard worse because Davis’ admission didn’t trip up the legendary host one bit. “No wonder you came here,” Sajak joked. “You just wanted to get away from everybody,” before telling Davis he knew he was “being facetious.” Still, Davis, a San Diego native, says he loves his family “like nobody’s business.” Check out the cringeworthy moment below. Dave East Clears Up Threesome Gone Wrong Rumors [Video]

Source: WENN/Avalon / WENN Dave East found himself the center of an explosive story that allegedly involved a threesome that went terribly awry. The Harlem rapper has since spoken up about the rumored incident and is shooting down the claims of the reported tryst. East chopped it up in Washington, D.C. on the grounds of Howard University for its homecoming weekend with The Morning Hustle Show with Angie Ange and Lore’l.  East shared the tale of his come up in the game and also how much fun he had playing Method Man/Shotgun in the Hulu series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga . When the questions pivoted towards the alleged threesome incident in Las Vegas, Dave East was quick to clear up any confusion and explained that both he and the woman caught a battery charge. From East’s side of things, he invited a group of people to his hotel suite after rocking the Drai’s stages with 50 Cent when it all went left. “Two of the chicks were like, ‘Can we go to the bathroom?’” East shared. “I was like, ‘Yeah, go ahead.’ But my jewelry was in there. I forgot when I first came in the room, I put all my jewelry next to my bed on a little dresser. So then I thought about it, got up and went in there. Shorty was trying [it] on. Not on no sneaky like trying to rob, but I’m just like, ‘What are you doing? I don’t know you. What you doing?’ And then her friend caught an attitude. ‘Ain’t nobody trying to steal nothing.’” East said he directed the women to leave the residence when he said the woman began throwing bottles at her and that the woman called 911 on him despite his claims of not being the aggressor, leading to the battery charge. East maintains that he did nothing wrong and that the stories that popped off about a threesome were just hearsay. Check out the 11:00-minute mark of the following video to hear Dave East break down the craziness, but the entire interview itself is pretty solid so run it back. — Photo: WENN

Tamra Judge: I Made Out with Braunwyn and It Was a BLAST!

By now, all fans and viewers of The Real Housewives of Orange County know all about Braunwyn WIndham-Burke's threesomes with her husband . Braunwyn made it very clear to producers that, given the chance, she'd be down to clown with castmate Tamra Judge. Tamra herself expressed no objections to that. At Shannon Storms Beador's birthday party, the birthday girl wasn't the only one who got a kiss. Braunwyn and Tamra seized their chance and made out. It was a treat for everyone — well, almost everyone. And … is Vicki Gunvalson homophobic? Look at her face below as all of this goes down. 1. It was Shannon’s birthday! Shannon was born in March, by the way, so that tells you how long ago this was filmed. As you can see from this still, Shannon had already been having a grand old time in this pic. 2. Braunwyn had her eye on the prize She and Tamra were, well, flirting all night. This is already after Braunwyn had been wildly unsubtle about how, if she could bring any of her fellow Housewives into her marital bed — as she and her husband sometimes do with women they know — it would be Tamra. She had clearly already thought about it. And Tamra was, well, flattered. 3. Vicki seemed a little taken aback We’ll talk more about this in a bit, and maybe selective editing is partly to blame, but it looks like Vicki was genuinely uncomfortable with Tamra and Braunwyn’s flirtations. 4. Speaking of uncomfortable … In addition to having her own drama, Gina found herself seated between two ladies. If you’ve ever been seated between two people who are being openly horny for each other, you know exactly how she’s feeling in this moment. 5. Thus, some folks swapped seats Tamra and Braunwyn were finally side-by-side, Gina could talk to Emily (they did a lot of that), and Meghan King Edmonds got herself a front-row seat to the action. (We see you, Meghan) 6. Things were already a little spicy Tamra — in her very loud voice — announced that her hand had been trapped in Braunwyn’s crotch. Braunwyn did not seem to mind. In fact, she shouted “do it again!” View Slideshow

Kailyn Lowry: Taking Son Out of State Without Father’s Permission?!

Like all of the Teen Moms, Kailyn Lowry has inspired a mixed reaction from viewers over the years. But whether you love her or hate her, there's no denying that Kail is dedicated to doing what's best for her three sons. Unfortunately, she sometimes disagrees with the boys' fathers in terms of what that means. Take Kail's latest trip with her traveling buddy, Leah Messer.  Lowry brought her kids along, against the wishes of one of her baby daddies. And the situation got so messy that MTV refused to continue filming. Take a look: 1. Kail and Her Eldest Lowry took all three of her kids on her most recent trip to Hawaii. Unfortunately, one of her baby daddies was not happy about it. 2. Jo, Mama For the most part, Kail and Jo Rivera have enjoyed an amicable co-parenting relationship over the years. But he believes she overstepped her bounds with the Hawaii trip. 3. Island Bound The build-up to Kail and Leah’s trip was featured on Tuesday’s episode of Teen Mom 2, and it seems there was quite a bit of drama involved. 4. Back At It For one thing, Leah invited her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, a prospect that left Messer’s three kids very excited. 5. The Whole Crew But the real drama centered around Kail’s decision to bring all three of her kids on the trip, including Isaac. 6. Stepping On Toes That may not seem like such a big deal, but it seems that Isaac was supposed to spend Independence Day with his father, and Kail booked the trip over July 4 without asking permission. Zack Carpinello: Can I Still Use Jenni Farley to Help My Wrestling Career?

When the world first learned that Jenni Farley was dating Zack Carpinello , the reaction among Jersey Shore fans was one of pure joy. After all that she’d been through in the past year, it seemed that JWoww had finally found happiness in a stable relationship. Sadly, things quickly took a turn for the worse, as it soon turned out that Carpinello — “24,” as he’s known to some — is a massive douche. It’s hard to know where to begin, as Zack was an absolute jackass from the second he first appeared on screen. He was smug; he was controlling; he talked down to Jenni — the whole was just painful to watch, particularly since Farley was fresh from an abusive marriage . JWoww didn’t seem particularly put off by 24’s behavior, but the heady rush of a new romance can often cloud anyone’s judgment. Fortunately, her eyes were opened last week when an episode of Shore aired in which Carpinello could be seen groping Angelina Pivarnick while a heavily intoxicated Jenni slept just inches away. Shortly after the episode, word got out that Jenni had dumped Carpinello. Pivarnick was the first to respond with a weird, lingerie-themed message in which she sort of apologized to Jenni and sort of chastised Carpinello. Now, 24 himself is breaking his social media silence with a weird, inspirational weight-lifting video: Zack Carpinello Lifts Weights “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. -Mahatma Gandhi.” he captioned the above clip. That same day, Zack quote-tweeted Ice T, who wrote: “Never let someone else’s Negativity ruin your day. You can’t get your DAYS back. They’re toooo valuable.” It may seem strange that Zack is the one offering up quotes about enduring hardship here — and it definitely is. As far as we can tell, this is part of Carpinello’s effort to launch his professional wrestling career, which — in retrospect — probably motivated his decision to date Jenni in the first place. Shortly after the episode aired, Farley made it clear that she and Carpinello were through: “After seeing tonight’s episode I’m pretty hurt,” she wrote in an Instagram note. “I feel disrespected by someone I called a friend and by someone who stated they loved me,” Jenni added. “For 5 months I was kept in the dark about this,” she continued. “For 5 months I was naive, probably laughed at and made into a storyline that will forever haunt me. My heart hurts on so many levels. One thing I learned from tonight’s episode is know your value. Don’t ever lower your standards.” To be fair, the weight-lifting vid wasn’t Zack’s first post-breakup social media activity. But his previous posts were obviously written by publicists: ”I made mistakes that I cannot take back, which I take full responsibility for,” he wrote. “Jenni does not deserve any damage from anybody else. This is on me. I sincerely apologize to Jenni. I apologize to Angelina as well,” Zack added. “I love Jenni, with everything I have, I make this known to be every day. I will continue to do everything to make this known to her and her kids, who also have my heart. I will make it certain that nothing like this ever happen again, in any way regardless of outcome.” Whatever you say, 24. View Slideshow: Jenni Farley Boyfriend: Identity… REVEALED!

Excerpt from:

Source: Earl Gibson/BET / Getty On Tuesday’s episode of The Real , actress Tisha Campbell had an emotional reunion with her long lost sister, Ellen Lindsay. Lindsay, who was contacted by investigative genealogist Pam Slate two years ago, was apparently under the impression that she was invited to the daytime talk show to discuss her encounters with Slate, who informed her that she was adopted. “Three years ago Pam called me and said that someone from my past wanted to meet me,” Lindsay explained. “I was like, ‘There’s no one in my past that I want to meet.’” Want Exclusives First? Lindsay admits that she assumed the mystery person from the past would be an ex-lover and she had no interest in going down that rabbit hole because she’s married. “I was married and you think of exes,” she explained. “My wife was like, ‘You should go ahead and meet them.’” Years went by and Lindsay didn’t hear from Slate again. Then, out of the blue, Slate called back and told her that she might be adopted. Lindsay agreed to undergo a DNA test, which confirmed that Slate’s suspicions were true. Lindsay confessed to the hosts that she had no idea she was adopted prior to the test. “I never knew. For 49 years, I never know that I was adopted,” Lindsay said. Wendy Williams Gets Overdramatic When Telling Audience Member to “Get Out!”

See the original post here:

Source: Raymond Hall / Getty Wendy Williams does not play, especially in front of her daytime studio audience. During the “Hot Topics” segment of her show on Tuesday, October 8th, one member’s phone went off, and Wendy was not having it. EURweb.com has the dirt on what Wendy told that person: “Is somebody’s phone on?” Williams asked before snapping at the culprit, per  us.com . “Get out! Get out! Turn that phone off now, sir, ma’am, whoever you are. Just, please, kindly.” After admitting she was overdramatic, she adds that when people get tickets to her show, they have to turn off their phones as part of a “NO PHONES” rule. In other words, those phones must be off before taping begins. Apparently, not everyone got the message. CLICK HERE TO WATCH VIDEO

Spragga Benz Talks ‘Chiliagon,’ Jamaica’s Censorship

Source: press handout / tma A few days before this year’s West Indian Day Parade in New York City, Spragga Benz was a guest at SUNY Empire State in downtown Brooklyn. The dancehall pioneer was seated at the front of the room alongside two music executives and Dr. Carolyn Cooper, a professor at the University of the West Indies. They would be discussing the future of dancehall and reggae music as well as what that progression means for new artists. “The youth are doing their thing,” Spragga says, following the panel. “It’s a whole new generation from 1995. A different set of youth.  They’re expressing themselves and it’s not fair for us to say that what they’re doing isn’t right. Or lesser than that because we were free to do what we wanted and our parents were probably saying that what we were doing is stupid or wrong.” “A man may start out slack and end up conscious. It’s a journey.”—Spragga Benz On an elevated platform, Spragga offered stories of humble beginnings and incidentally finding his place in dancehall, although his personal business would have been better off without the cameras and the bright lights. “More people wanted me to record and I was like, ‘Alright. This thing is getting out of hand now…” The audience chuckled collectively. He continued earnestly, “Because my thinking at the time was about the type of lifestyle I was living, the type of friends that I had and the type of things we were doing… I’m not going up on no stage.”  View this post on Instagram See me with my spliff… big tune on the Grass Is Greener soundtrack #netflix @salaamremi production A post shared by Spragga Benz (@spraggabenz3) on Oct 13, 2019 at 5:56pm PDT That fear of exposure ended shortly thereafter as Spragga would go on to run the genre in mid-90s and now as he nears 30 years in the industry, there’s a sense of reverence that comes with his name. So much so that his first album in nearly a decade, Chiliagon , debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Reggae charts. Spragga Benz is out here breaking personal records for himself, even still. In a recent press release, Lem Oppenheimer, co-founder of Easy Star stated, “We are proud to have helped Spragga get to #1 for the first time in his career. What this shows us is that Spragga is still a vibrant artist, a current creative force, and an important voice in reggae worldwide.”    The album [ cop it here ] is a direct reflection of how Spragga defines the word ‘chiliagon’ — “a shape with a thousand sides.” The mix of roots reggae, drum and bass, dancehall, grime, garage and hip-hop highlights an evolution of sound, at least from his end. “That’s how I approach music,” he reveals. “I don’t really box into anything. I have different sides to myself and there’s an inclusion of all different genres of music, but to me a lot of different music comes from dancehall same way. So this album shows the connections and similarities and how a dancehall artist actually sounds over these different beats that actually aren’t that different.” Spragga claims that “No Regrets,” a wavy, roots reggae-inspired track from Chiliagon is his favorite on the album. Preceding the LP, Spragga’s “Count Tree” over the “Calaloo” riddim specifically highlights his spirited flow alongside synth-heavy production with just enough bounce to fall within the lines of traditional dancehall. Another single, “If Yuh Ready,” with UK DJ General Levy is specifically grime, or as Spragga describes: “Jungle Music!” His eyes light up, excitedly. “That same jungle music? It’s derived from dancehall music. It’s the same thing just sped up. They use our same bass lines and faster drums.” Naturally mellow, nothing seems to move Spragga Benz like music or talks of progression. As an OG in the dancehall world, Spragga has made it his business — his literal business, with Red Star Productions — to help motivate and encourage those coming behind him. Red Star is a sort of in-between, for young creatives trying to find their way. “We try to enhance the talent of young artists, bringing what they have out of them,” he explains. “Some may come to us as artists but they aren’t really artists. They might be a better producer or road manager or a writer, whatever it is that you want to do, we’ll push you to do it anyways, because that’s your desire until you find your growth and then you can always divert.”  “We try to just bring people in, let them be themselves but we try and guide them in the direction they want to go in without tying them to anything. You owe us nothing. It’s just doing you doing your own work and us giving you a platform.” View this post on Instagram #Repost @sunyuwicenter ・・・ Thank you to all of the participants who supported the successful launch of the SUNY-UWI Center for Leadership and Sustainable Development —Community Engagement Lecture Series entitled: “The Caribbean Music Industry 2019: What’s Next for Reggae, Dancehall and New Breakout Artists?” . . . #brooklyn #brooklynny #education #highered #suny #spraggabenz #sunyuwicenter #sunyuwi #clsd #music #breakoutartists #summerlecture @cristyofaragon @spraggabenz3 @irie_bobby @sunyempire @uwitv #empirestatecollege #carolyncooper #communityengagement #lectureseries #caribbeancommunityimpact #jamaicandiaspora #reggaemusic #dancehallmusic #artist A post shared by Spragga Benz (@spraggabenz3) on Aug 20, 2019 at 2:58pm PDT Earlier in the evening, during the panel, one man in the audience stood up and lamented, “It is the artist’s responsibility to censor your lyrics…” Attendees murmured in their seats. “You owe it to the youth.” It was only a matter of time before the topic arose of Jamaica’s unyielding moral code of conduct. Spragga held steadfast in his belief that an artist having to censor himself, defeats the idea of his being a creative. “They’re [the government] censoring dancehall artists, specifically,” he shares later. “Because those from other genres are able to say whatever they feel like saying. And I just think we should be free to say whatever we feel and express ourselves in our own way. Every man has his own idea of what’s right and what’s wrong. So leave a man to his own judgment and learning.”  “A man may start out slack and end up conscious. It’s a journey,” he continues. “Allow a man to walk his journey. Censorship comes in when some people want power over other people. Or when some people feel important and want to be ‘the God’ over what other people are doing and when you have enough people who feel that way, they form themselves into bodies and give themselves titles and feel even more important.”  “But artists only want to express themselves, we have our own moral compass to follow. A lot of us have children too and come from good homes with parents that give us certain  responsibilities and morals as well.”
