Colin Kaepernick is changing the game once again. His ambassador role at Nike has proven to be a wise move for the sporting goods giant. As spotted on Hypebeast the former NFL quarterback’s Nike campaign won an Emmy award for “Outstanding Commercial” at the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Titled “Dream Crazy” the advertisement featured the Milwaukee native voicing the aspirations of different athletes throughout various sports including a young legless Olympic wrestler and female wheelchair basketball player. Kaep even pointed to his own personal story with “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything” included in the voiceover. Even though many Americans took offense to his inclusion, the powerful two-minute clip resonated with millions across the world due to its potent message about chasing your goals regardless if you are outnumbered by your naysayers. “Dream Crazy” was apart of Nike’s 30th anniversary of their iconic “Just Do It” signature motto. The worst kept secret on television was confirmed as official news on ABC last night. It’s tragically true, Mike Johnson fans and supporters: Peter Weber will be the next The Bachelor. This long-awaited announcement was made on the Tuesday night season finale of Bachelor in Paradise. “It’s still hitting me right now, and I feel so grateful right now just to have this opportunity in front of me,” Weber told Chris Harrison at the end of the reunion special. He added: “I feel emotional right now. This is crazy. This is life-changing. I have truly, my entire life, looked forward to finding my girl, and that first person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with… “I have all the faith in the world that this can work for me, and I know it’s going to.” Weber, of course, advanced to the final three on Hannah Brown’s most recent season of The Bachelorette. He became well-known and very respected for having slept with the former beauty queen a show record four times while they stayed overnight in a windmill . He seems perfectly nice and harmless and, yes, white… so it’s no real surprise that executives chose Weber. Thanks to a bunch of recent The Bachelor spoilers , we all saw this confirmation coming weeks ago, too. Asked what he learned from his relationship with Brown, the pilot replied on air: “From night one with that first toast to the very end when I said goodbye to her, she was 100 percent unapologetically herself, and I love that. And that’s something that I definitely want to carry forward with my journey now.” Sounds like he’s gone to ABC Cliche School and graduated with honors, huh? Other frontrunners for the job were Brown’s former suitors Mike Johnson and Tyler Cameron, plus Bachelor in Paradise favorite Derek Peth. Shortly after Weber was announced, social media blew up with reaction to the news. Not much of it was positive… Johnson would have been the first-ever black lead on the show if he had been selected. He does appear to have moved on in amazing manner , but still. Come on, ABC! You had a real shot to make history here. Right, Rachel Lindsay? “I think Peter seems like a very nice guy. He seems lovely. This is absolutely nothing against him, but how many Peters have we seen before?” the only-ever black Bacheloerette told ET of the latest casting, adding: “What season are we on? 24. The RHOA star and Marc Daly sat down with the talk show host for a segment centered around IVF. Tamron, 49, recently welcomed her first child, her son Miles via IVF, so she invited celebs who also had similar journeys. Kenya and Marc sat down with Tamron to discuss their journey to welcome their daughter Brooklyn Daly back in November 2018. Marc told Tamron that while he didn’t inject Kenya with IVF needles while they were trying to conceive, he was there for moral support. “Just being there, being supportive, being hopeful, being positive. Just being behind her is what it is all about,” said Marc. “I hate needles, so I didn’t do that.” Tamron and Kenya bonded over their IVF stories and Tamron revealed that a friend of hers drove hours to inject her. The world remains outraged that Felicity Huffman is serving 14 days in prison for her role in the college bribery scandal. Many feel that she got off easy because she's rich and famous. Wendy Williams would like to add to that: if Felicity had been black, her sentence would have been much harsher. When Wendy Williams said “Season 11, I'm going harder than ever,” she clearly meant it. “So Felicity Huffman's only going to prison for 14 days?!” “I mean, if she were black, it'd be 14 years number one.” She's not wrong, really. Studies show that even doctors view black women less favorably than white women. You know that courts do, too. Wendy then briefly confuses Felicity with Lori. “She paid $15,000 and she's worth million,” Wendy observes, saying that Felicity paid to “have her daughter's SAT scores changed.” “And that's where her trouble is,” she states. “So,” Wendy continues. “She admitted what she did. She's going to jail for 14 days.” “She pays $30,000 in restitution — maybe a few more dollars,” she assesses. When you're talking about a pair of movie stars, that's not a huge fine. “Do I think she’ll ever work again? Yeah,” Wendy admits. “Because first of all, she copped to it,” she points out. “Second of all, she’s one half of a power couple in Hollywood,” Wendy reasons. She adds: “And she’s a nice woman. She just did something that I think a lot of mothers would do if you had the means.” Wendy then asks her audience if they would do the same for their children, given the chance. A shocking number of them clap. (Folks, you can take the SAT repeatedly and it's genuinely not a difficult test; let your kid get the scores that they get) Wendy then very correctly points to a case that constrasts with Felicity's. (When the scandal first broke, outrage over this particular case showed the disparity between rich white women and their poor brown counterparts) A woman in Connecticut — who is black — was sentenced to five years in prison. She didn't bribe anyone. She didn't pay someone to impersonate her child to give them a better test score. All that she did was use a relative's address as her child's home address to give her child a better zip code and thus a better education. Remember, this was a woman overcoming racism — because yes, schools being funded by local property taxes is not race-blind. It's a decades-old system designed to ensure that rich, white homeowners aren't paying for the educations of poor people. And because of other racial injustices in America, a disproportionate number of low-income families are black or brown. Most people wouldn't consider what this mom did a crime. You'd equate it with sending your kids to a rich neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. But clearly, prosecutors felt that this woman defrauded more affluent parents by giving her child a better chance at life. Meanwhile, Felicity gets 14 days. Nice though she may be, that's not right. Wendy notes that she feels that Felicity should have been fined millions — with that money going to those who cannot afford a better education. That is a great idea. A genuinely great idea. At the end, Wendy states that she doesn't even feel like discussing Lori, whom everyone feels did much worse than what Felicity did.

Not only did the 23-year-old model throw us off by not walking during New York’s fall fashion week and then secretly appearing on the catwalk in London, but she also debuted a brand new look — blonde hair! Yep, the brunette beauty has ditched the dark side and surprisingly, we’re here for it. Everyone in the audience at London Fashion Week did a double-take as the supermodel strutted down Burberry’s spring 2020 runway show with her new ‘do. Honestly, she was almost unrecognizable in the photos. But for someone like Kendall, who has striking dark features, we must say that the beachy blonde coloring actually wasn’t half bad. In fact, she totally worked it! Unlike sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who have frequently gone for the platinum blonde look in the past, Kendall’s new shade is more natural-looking and completely her own. The color appears to show off highlights that intertwine with her dark roots before falling throughout the full length of her hair. As usual, she kept her natural part down the middle and kept her hair out of her face and behind her ears. So klassy, so kute. This isn’t the first time Kendall has rocked the blonde look , however, this is the first time we believe it to be real . In 2016, the reality star had a similar style as she walked for Balmain at fall fashion week. Of course, that time around it was a wig! With her new look, however, her scalp is fully visible and the dyed coloring blends perfectly with her chocolate brown roots. So, I’m going to somewhat confidently say that she fully committed to the new lewk. *hair flip* A Kardashian/Jenner hair-transformation shouldn’t be a big deal, they change their hair a lot , however, everyone literally just bored fans (yes, me) will stop whatever it is that they’re doing to take a peek. Usually, when we report on Tori Spelling it’s because the struggling actress has found herself in a new heap of financial trouble. But believe it or not, Tori’s life has been on a bit of an upswing in recent months. The Beverly Hills 90210 reboot she’s starring in has fared surprisingly well, which means that for the first time in a very long time, Tori Spelling is a working actress appearing in a project that people actually watch. Tori is still broke, of course, because no six episode run of a semi-satirical reboot is sufficient to put a dent in her massive debt, but the show’s surprise rating success could mean a second season, which would likely lead to a raise, and a light at the end of the tunnel for Spelling and her family. In the meantime, Tori is doing everything she can to take advantage of her winning streak. When her money problems were at their most dire, Spelling made a major real estate downgrade, selling her mansion in swank Calabasas in favor of a rental home in working-class Encino . Now, she’s apparently climbing the ladder again, as Radar Online reports that Tori and husband Dean McDermott have rented a house in Hidden Hills, just ten minutes outside of Calabasas. Unfortunately, it seems Tori’s efforts to befriend her well-heeled neighbors have thus far come up short. The most famous residents of Calabasas are, of course, the Kardashians. And it appears that Tori has been focused like a laser on the task of befriending Kim. “Tori really admires Kim and everything she’s accomplished,” says the insider. “She’s putting the word out to neighbors and mutual friends that she’d love to be in Kim’s moms’ club and get together for BBQs and playdates on the weekends with the other Kardashian sisters and their kids.” It makes sense that Tori would be so gung-ho about becoming besties with Kim. After all, even with BH90210 gig, Tori is more social media figure than actress, and a friendship with Kim would likely boost her profile. Unfortunately, for Spelling, the insider says she “can’t even get a return call” from Mrs. Kardashian-West. “Truth is, Kim just thinks Tori is the world’s biggest loser and incredibly tacky with her mountain of debts and she’s annoyed that she’s brought her baggage to her exclusive Hidden Hills enclave,” the source adds. Now, if only Tori could get her to say that to her face and capture the whole thing on camera. That scene alone would be enough to land the Spellings a new reality show.
