This year’s festival honored trailblazing triple-threat entertainer   Angelica Ross   (“POSE” on FX), Award-Winning songstress   Tweet , AARP’s   Hillary Thomas , Georgia State Rep.   Park Cannon   and style guru   Japan . In partnership with  The Vision Community Foundation , a portion of proceeds from the annual festival are used to benefit homeless LGBT youth and those impacted by HIV/AIDS.  Hosted by  Bishop Oliver Clyde Allen III ,  Rashad Burgess, Avian Watson,   Melissa “DJ M” Scott, Julius “JuJu” James   and   Vaughn Alvarez , the  Pure Heat Community Festival  is a front seat into a spectacular gathering of minority LGBTQ people and their allies in the heart of Atlanta. Stacey Abrams   made her festival debut with empowering words for the LGBTQI++ community as part of her “Fair Fight 2020” campaign. Actress and triple-threat entertainer   Angelica Ross   received the   2019 Trailblazer Award . Ross is a businesswoman ( TransTech Social Enterprises) , actress, and transgender rights advocate and most noted for her role as Candy on the hit Ryan Murphy show “Pose” (FX). The “Southern Hummingbird,”   Tweet , received the   2019 Legacy Award.   Tweet is best known for her debut solo single, “Oops (Oh My)”, a song about self-loving and appreciation – produced by Timbaland featuring guest vocals by Missy Elliott. Tweet has released three solo albums – including the most recent self-titled project,   Charlene , via Entertainment One. As an actress, she has appeared in the Billie Woodruff directed motion picture,   Honey , and has also appeared in the sitcom   The Parkers . Jim Bob Duggar on Hurricane Dorian: I’m Sending My Sons to Fix the Bahamas!

Duggar fans and critics alike have long suspected that Jim Bob forces his sons to work for him to maintain a measure of control over them. This time, at least, those sons are going to work for what looks like a good cause. Several of the Duggar men are in the Bahamas, preparing to provide disaster relief after Dorian. But this may be more controversial than intended. Joy-Anna Duggar, fresh off of being shamed for how she holds hands , took to Instagram to give fans a major update. “Austin just arrived down in the Bahamas with @mediccorps,” she revealed. Joy-Anna shared a Mediccorps photo of an array of Duggars. She explained: “They will be some of the first on scene to help with disaster relief after Hurricane Dorian.” You can see their photo below: Joy-Anna then asked a favor of her fans and followers. “Please pray for all of the people who have been affected by this terrible hurricane,” she implored them. “And,” she asked, won’t they please pray also for the “safety for our medic team.” She wants her husband to come home safe, naturally. “To find out how you can pray or support,” Joy-Anna concluded. “Please follow @mediccorps or click on the link in my bio.” So which Duggars headed down south, exactly? Obviously, Austin was one of them. But so were John David, Jason, and James. Interesting enough, it looks like Jana also headed down, though so far it looks like she’s been tasked with taking photos. The Duggars are among familiars faces who aren’t family. Both Lawson and Nathan of Bringing Up Bates are also volunteering with Mediccorps. A lot of fans instantly had questions about what exactly makes these dudes qualified to provide emergency relief. Abbie Duggar is actually a registered nurse, but she did not accompany John David on the flight south. There’s a very good reason for that — she’s pregnant. With a due date this winter, she doesn’t need to be traipsing off to disaster zones, even with the best intentions. We’ll get into the concerns that people have about the people who are going in just a moment. The estimated cost of this “short-term rescue mission” by Mediccorps is about $20,000. In general, people in developing countries benefit less from someone traveling to them than they would if one simply sent them the money for the trip. It’s unclear if that is true for disaster relief or if feet on the ground do more good. Regardless, the Mediccorps site claims that they can provide helicopter rescue and medical transport and deploy first-responders. Above all else, Mediccorps is a devoutly Christian organization and their statements and reading material emphasizing faith in Jesus. People have serious concerns about the Duggar boys not necessarily being prepared to help people in need beyond giving them transportation. (There has been discourse back and forth about who may actually be qualified to provide aid) The family — well, Jim Bob — is also accused of sending them on this trip for publicity for their failing reality careers. Many have concerns that Mediccorp is more interested in preaching to survivors than anything else. It goes without saying that Farrah Abraham is not your typical mom. At 10 years old, her daughter Sophia basically functions in the capacity of a best friend/road manager, and Farrah justifies it with the belief that the girl is getting a better education traveling the world than she would ever receive in a classroom. Maybe that's true. Or maybe Farrah is just trying to justify treating her daughter like an employee. Whatever the case, even supporters of the former Teen Mom OG star feel that she crossed the line this week thanks to an Instagram post that's ignited some major controversy. Take a look: 1. The Traveling Twosome It seems every time you look at her Instagram page, Farrah is in some exotic new location with daughter Sophia in tow. 2. Why? We’ll Never Know … Last week, it was the Venice Film Festival, where Farrah and Sophia were invited to several red carpet premieres for reasons that aren’t entirely clear. 3. Trouble at the Fest Organizers quickly regretted allowing Farrah to attend. First, there was the incident in which she tried to steal the spotlight by flashing a little vadge on the red carpet. 4. Of Course Shortly thereafter, Farrah and Sophia walked into the world premiere of a film more than an hour late. 5. Here We Go “We were like an hour late ‘cause we’re not used to this. And so we go in there, and this guy kept turning around and kept bothering me,” Abraham later said. 6. Farrah? Irresponsible?! “It’s like, why is he still trying to talk to me?” she added. “And then he starts saying I’m not responsible. Amber Portwood: Andrew Glennon is a Liar and He Broke My Heart!

This summer has been a weird one for Amber Portwood. Mostly because she started it with a precious little family but then right on the ding dang Fourth of July, she ruined it all by assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he held their baby in his arms. Well, by “allegedly” assaulting him. Yep, Amber is speaking out about what happened now, and her version of events are pretty different than the one we heard from Andrew … 1. Here We Go What happened between Amber and Andrew … well, it wasn’t pretty, that’s for sure. 2. Memories And we know you’ve probably heard this story several times already, but just for the sake of painting a complete picture, let’s run through it one more time, OK? 3. That Fateful Night Things weren’t perfect between Amber and Andrew, but they were going all right up until the Fourth of July. Amber wanted to take baby James to see some fireworks, but there were some traffic issues that prevented them from going. 4. Oh And instead of planning a different route to go see those fireworks or finding another place to watch them, she just flipped the heck out. 5. The Assault Begins They got home, and according to Andrew, she started beating him with a shoe — Amber has admitted there was some shoe action, but she’s said it was really no big deal. 6. Out of There After that happened, Andrew said that he took James and they drove around for a few hours before coming back home with dinner and a present for Amber — but she was still upset. The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Tamra Makes Braunwyn CRY!

On this week’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County , Braunwyn got the full force of Tamra’s suspicions and high-pitched ire. While they worked on their issues, Kelly Dodd is still grappling with that group sex rumor . Emily had to deal with her husband’s cold indifference, but worst of all, Gina found out that there was a bench warrant for her arrest. It turns out that Braunwyn Windham-Burke spoke to both Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek. Both alums have been enemies of Tamra ever since they were involved in rumors about Eddie’s sexuality. “I heard you contacted Lizzie  and  Gretchen to talk to them,” Tamra accused Braunwyn, asking if she is a “troublemaker.” Now, the newcomer says that she’s no such thing — that it’s just a mutual friends situation. However, Shannon brought up that Emily has screenshots of Braunwyn’s texts that prove that it’s a little more than that. Braunwyn had tried to spin the situation as the other women having reached out to her, but Shannon blurts out: “We see the texts that you reached out to her.” “If you’re a f–king liar,” Tamra exclaims. “I need to know!” Tamra repeats the accusation that she’s a liar again and again, to the point where Kelly pleads with her castmates to be kinder. Braunwyn was visibly tearing up under the verbal assault and even tried to apologize for misstating, but Tamra does not respond kindly. After a while of badgering, she gets up and moves to the front of the bus to cry. Eventually, Tamra came to her senses and offered her some comfort. Braunwyn discussed the issue with her mother at dinner, admitting to Dr. Deb that she lies because she wants people to like her. In a confessional, Braunwyn admits that her mother is the root of her need to be liked. “Growing up, all I ever wanted was a mom that always put me first,” she admits. “And I never had that.” “She was so focused on her own career and her own life,” Braunwyn explains. She concludes: “That there was a sense that no matter how much she loves me, she’ll always love herself more.” Yeah, that’ll mess you up. When she explained that to Tamra and Shannon, they were both understanding. Speaking of dining with doctors, Kelly Dodd sat down with Dr. Brian. In real life, Kelly and Brian broke up , but this of course was filmed earlier this year. After dropping some wildly unsubtle engagement hints in his direction, Kelly speaks to him about the train rumor. To refresh your memory and knowledge of sex terms, this was a rumor that Kelly had boned multiple dudes, one after the other in one sitting. In truth, Kelly has never even had a threesome , which sounds unbelievable but she’s of an older generation and she’s spent a lot of her life married. Dr. Brian offers up some sage advice to brush off the rumor with a joke instead of worrying over it. Speaking of relationships that are probably on the brink of collapse, Emily Simpson tries to have a conversation with Shane. Who knew that asking your spouse about how his day has gone could be so awkward and frustrating? In the cringeworthy clip, we see Emily try to get him to open up to her, only to be stonewalled. It’s like asking a moody teenager how their day at school was, only Shane is a fully grown adult — and hadn’t seen her for 10 days. When Emily asks him how he feels, he replies “I feel ready for dinner.” Not helpful. Not the time or the place. Shane sits for a confessional and gets downright rude, admitting that he doesn’t miss his family while he’s away at work. Yikes, dude. At the same time, Gina Kirschenheiter missed her court date for her DUI — but not because she doesn’t care. “My attorney put in to postpone this arraignment date,” Gina explains. “But he didn’t check to confirm that it actually was accepted.” “And it was denied,” Gina tells the camera. “So as far as the court’s concerned, I just didn’t show up.” This is after Shannon had warned her that her attorney friend overheard that a judge had put out a bench warrant for Gina. Thankfully, Shannon’s non-terrible attorney friend was able to get the bench warrant recalled at the last minute — averting Gina’s arrest by 3 hours. Gina and Shannon then bonded over their miserable divorces and admitted how they had envied one another last season. We Now Know Who the Richest Duggar Kid Is … And the Answer Will Shock You

With few exceptions, reality TV stars don’t make a ton of money from the shows that make them famous. Don’t get us wrong, in many cases, it’s a cushy six-figure gig that doesn’t require you to do any real work, and that’s a pretty sweet deal. But Kylie Jenner didn’t become the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire from her Keeping Up With the Kardashians salary. No, that it was the opportunities that basic cable stardom presented to Kylie that allowed her to go from well-off to wealthy. And while the two families may seem to have next to nothing in common, the same can be said of the most affluent members of the Duggar clan. The Duggars might belong to a faith started by a guy who wasn’t all that keen on amassing wealth, but Jim Bob and his kids are born hustlers. The exact figure  Jim Bob’s net worth has been widely debated, but there’s no question that the man is a millionaire many times over. At this point, Jim Bob basically owns the small town that he lives in (much to the chagrin of many of his neighbors), as a result of more than a decade in which a massive chunk of his real estate earnings has been reinvested into local real estate. So it goes without saying that JB is the richest member of his family. But the question of who is the most well-off among his offspring has a much more surprising answer. Several of Jim Bob’s kids have followed in his footsteps by flipping cars and real estate. Surprisingly, the most successful Duggar in that department might be Josh, who owns several businesses and properties in the Tontitown/Springdale area. (We’re guessing he mostly sticks to behind-the-scenes work, for obvious reasons.) But Josh was fired by TLC amid a string of sex scandals in 2015. He’s still not permitted to play an active role in the family’s media empire, which severely limits his earning potential. Similarly, Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, was fired from Counting On , and Jill quit as a sign of solidarity. So they’re also more or less out of the running when it comes to the richest Duggars. And the same can be said for fan-favorite Jana Duggar, whose business opportunities are hampered by the fact that she’s an unmarried woman living in a society in which unmarried women are basically pariahs. So who takes the cake as the very richest of Jim Bob and Michelle’s children? Well, according to several outlets , the answer is Jinger Duggar, who — along with her pro-soccer-player-turned-minister husband — enjoys a net worth of roughly $2 million. Jinger’s surprising affluence came to light after it was revealed that she and Jeremy are shelling out roughly $4,000 a month for the house they’re renting in LA. And where does all that cash come from? Well, like her father, it seems Jinger has many irons in the fire. For one thing, she’s arguably the most well-liked of all the Duggar daughters, which means her sponsored content posts on Instagram are worth a lot some serious bucks. On top of that, Jinger married a guy with an actual job. Jeremy probably didn’t earn much as a soccer player, but he’s in high demand as a preacher, and he reportedly enjoys a full schedule of high-paying speaking gigs at all times. Jeremy Roloff Really Might Be Buying His Family’s Farm

Jeremy Roloff and Audrey Roloff left Little People, Big World just over a year ago. But the couple has now made it more clear than ever before: They may soon be major players once again in the Little People, Big World universe . Confused? Let us explain… Audrey and Jeremy left this beloved TLC series in August of 2018 because they had simply grown sick of being followed around by cameras after so many years as program leads. They also wanted to pursue other business opportunities, which the husband and wife have done with great success over the past several months. They host a popular podcast… they wrote a best-selling memoir… they still run the company Beating 50 Percent. Of late, however, Jeremy has hinted that he’d be interested in owning a farm someday. And not just any farm, either — but Roloff Farms! In late July, after Matt Roloff made it pretty clear that he’s ready to move on and retire to Arizona with girlfriend Caryn Chandler, Jeremy wrote that he has “ideas and dreams for (hopefully) Roloff farms.” Asked by a follower why he hasn’t just gone ahead and purchased the property from his parents, Jeremy pointed to the cost . On a second occasion this summer, Jeremy emphasized that the farm so often featured on Little People, Big World would be “very expensive” to buy. This may be true —  but whether it’s because his parents could give him a deal or because Jeremy thinks he’ll be able to afford the farm someday, he very recently implied that running Roloff Farms is a strong possibility for him and Audrey down the line. First, consider the caption Jeremy wrote alongside the following image of himself and his daughter, after they visited some friends: Did I mention that Ember loved our trip to @fivemarysfarms Haha. If you didn’t know, they have the best meat ever and they ship their meat nationwide! Give it a try you won’t regret it. There’s something about the farm/ranch life that touches me deep down. I love it. This trip and watching Ember play definitely reawakened us to a yearning & burning we have for land. We’ve always wanted property, but it obviously takes more than want to achieve something. It feels like time to make decisions and a game plan. Make decisions? Come up with a game plan?!? Jeremy is obviously referencing a possible farm purchase here… which is why a follower responded to his post by asking: “Is the family farm not an option? I always assumed you and Zach would take over from your parents.” To this inquiry, Jeremy answered: “It totally is an option!” So there we have it! So exciting, right?!? For those unaware, Amy Roloff sold a portion of the farm to her ex-husband, Matt, a few months ago. She’s in the process of looking for a home off the property, but she still has some control over the farm. She and Matt still own most of it together, with Matt telling a fan this summer that he’s pretty much done with running it. “I would love Amy to buy her side of the farm and let me move to AZ full time,” he wrote at the time. “She’s scared to death of the work and attention it would take.” To learn more about the current state of Roloff Farms, click HERE . Prince Harry Speaks Out on Private Jet Controversy: I Ain’t Flying Coach With Y’all Peasants

Last month, we reported on the widespread allegations of hypocrisy leveled against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The trouble started when the couple took a jaunt to the South of France to hang out at Elton John’s palatial estate for a few days, as one does. The problem wasn’t with the trip itself, but with the fact that Harry and Meghan traveled on a private jet . As you may know, Harry has been an outspoken environmental activist for much of his life. As one of the world’s leading spokesmen for the perils of climate change and the role that humans play in the growing crisis, boarding a private jet with his family was … not a great look for Harry. Elton immediately came to his guests’ defense, tweeting: “Prince Harry’s Mother , Diana Princess Of Wales was one of my dearest friends. I feel a profound sense of obligation to protect Harry and his family from the unnecessary press intrusion that contributed to Diana’s untimely death. “After a hectic year continuing their hard work and dedication to charity, David and I wanted the young family to have a private holiday inside the safety and tranquility of our home. “To maintain a high level of much-needed protection, we provided them with a private jet flight.” But as the weeks went by, Harry and Meghan remained silent, while Prince William and Kate Middleton made a point of flying commercial , thus scoring points on their rumored rivals. On Tuesday, Harry finally broke his silence during an event in Amsterdam, at which he explained his decision to temporarily throw carbon footprint concerns aside: “I came here by commercial. I spend 99 percent of my life traveling the world by commercial,” Harry told the audience. “Occasionally there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure my family are safe and it’s genuinely as simple as that.” It’s important to note that 98% of terrorist attacks occur en route to Elton John’s private estate in the South of France. Obviously, we’re joking — taking the piss out of Harry, for you Brits. The explanation rings a tad bullsh-tty, but we’re sure Harry is usually responsible in his travel choices. “We can all do better and while no one is perfect, we all have a responsibility for our own individual impact,” he added. “The question is what we do to balance it out.” From there, Harry announced a new venture — Travalyst — in which he and Meg will partner with online firms to “transform the travel industry. Bachelor in Paradise Recap: Look Who’s Back!

Derek Peth didn’t simply leave Bachelor in Paradise Monday night . He also left his fellow Bachelor in Paradise contestants questioning their feelings, themselves and their place on the show in general. In particular, we write here about Tayshia Adams and Blake Horstmann and their reaction yesterday evening to Derek’s stunning departure.  Tayshia, for instance, wasn’t certain how she felt about John Paul Jones in the wake of the Derek decision, while Blake had started to realizie his chances of finding love in Mexico were slim to, quite possibly, none. Yes, Adams admitted, she had a “soft spot” for Jones — but what did that really mean in the bigger picture? As for Horstmann? He had an epiphany on Tuesday’s episode and actually convinced himself that Kristina Schulman was the woman he had been searching for all along. “We always gravitate toward each other,” he told viewers on air. “Maybe we owe each other this, to give it a shot.” Suddenly inspirde, Blake grabbed Kristina for a chat and told her he was “all in” and totally sure of it… at the moment. “I thought I just wanted to be friends with you, I did,” he said. “And here I am, saying that I can’t stop thinking about you. It’s driving me f—ing crazy and it’s terrifying.” Could Kristina actually trust the guy responsible for so much drama this season ? She actually decided yes , she was willing to do so… resulting in Mike Johnson getting sent home at the rose ceremony. (So he could go prep to be the next Bachelor , we pray really hard.) First, in walked Bri Barnes from Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor. It turns out that Blake and Bri had hit it off at Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson’s wedding just days prior (because of course they did)  and when Barnes pulled Blake aside for a discussion, Kristina basically lost it. And yet: Blake stuck to his word, nicely declining Bri’s date card. She ended up going surfing with fellow newcomer Matt Donald, while Blake desperately – and unsuccessfully – attempted to break down Kristina’s walls back at the bungalows. At last, we get to Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Connor Saeli (from Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette), two people looking for love and no drama. “I came here for a relationship, and finally, I feel good,” Caelynn said at one point. “Connor and I are exploring what we have, and I’m happy. I deserve this after the hell that I’ve been through.” However, all was about to change. Just when it seemed as if nothing could go wrong, a freshly-shaven Dean Unglert made his totally unexpected return (!!!!!!!!!!) to beg Caelynn for another chance after dumping her — just a week ago. “When I left, I made a decision that I thought was best for you, but it wasn’t really fair of me to make that decision,” he explained, adding: “Then I flew back to San Diego, and the entire flight back I literally could not stop thinking about you. I rented a car and drove to the Grand Canyon, and as I was there I thought about how badly I wished that you were there with me.” How sweet and not remotely scripted, right? “I knew that I needed to come here and tell you that I wanted us to try and be in a relationship,” Dean added. “I came here to ask you if you would leave Paradise with me today.” Wow, huh? Caelynn didn’t know what to say or what to do. “Right now, I’m the most confused I’ve ever been in my entire life. This is not an easy decision,” she said. “I literally have the dangerous guy and the perfect man. I have no idea what to do.” We’ll need to tune in next week to find out what she chooses.
