Kim Zolciak: Still Hospitalized Following Stroke

Yesterday, we reported that Kim Zolciak suffered a stroke . She shared the frightening news with fans via an Instagram caption posted alongside a photo of the reality star lying in a hospital bed. Kim revealed that she suffered a transient ischemic attack (commonly referred to as a “mini stroke”) just minutes after flying home from a Dancing With the Stars rehearsal. It’s unclear how serious her condition is, but we now know that Kim is still hospitalized. The 37-year-old mother of six posted the above photo this morning along with a caption reassuring fans that she’s on the mend. “Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! don’t let the oxygen scare you its just protocol,” Kim wrote. “I wanted THANK all of you for the love!” “I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments etc. I’m so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing” It’s unlikely that Kim will return to Dancing With the Stars this season, but she revealed on Instagram that her dancing partner Tony Dovolani has been by her side for two days straight. Kim says she expected to be out of the hospital by now, but it seems doctors aren’t taking any chances. At one point, Kim was unable to speak and lost all feeling on the left side of her body. Stephen Amell Apologizes for Tweet, Is Gonna "Go Away" Now

Viewers will be seeing plenty of Stephen Amell when Arrow Season 4 kicks off next month. But they won't be seeing much of the actor on social media for a bit, not after Amell stuck his attractive foot in his handsome mouth this week. In response to the Ahmen Mohamed scandal this week, in which a 14-year old was detained by police in Texas because teachers mistook a homemade clock for a bomb, Amell Tweeted the following: “Stereotyping Texas isn’t any better than stereotyping Ahmed. Just so we’re clear.” The message prompted some major backlash from those who believed Amell missed the point of this controversy, to which initially defended himself with a few follow-up Tweets:   I can't believe I broke my rule and tweeted about an actual event. Staggering to remember that debates in 140 characters don't work. What happened to Ahmed was terrible. Obviously. I happened to read a series of tweets pronouncing that this is a systemic problem in Texas, which is also profiling. It's profiling in a much less hurtful / destructive way… but it is profiling. Amell also wished Amell luck on his upcoming visit to the White House , but he then felt the need to post a video on Facebook. “Wasn’t trying to equate things that are very, very different, was simply trying to say that two wrongs don’t make a right,” Amell says in the video. “The best thing to do in these scenarios is just go away for a little bit. So be well. I’ll be back. And that’s it.”

Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 Trailer: Everything Has Changed

Everything is about to change on  Grey's Anatomy Season 12 . Actually, correction: According to Meredith in the first promo for new fall episodes, everything has already changed. The 21-second teaser gives us a look at Meredith lying alone in bed (Rest in Peace, Derek Shepherd), along with some demolition work taking place in her house and some enthusiastic high-fives taking place at work. Oh, and someone gets punched in the face in the hospital. That also happens here Creator Shonda Rhimes has promised a “lighter tone” for the series this fall, though the question still remains: Will people tune in now that Patrick Dempsey is gone? Or will they continue to hold his character's death, and the way it was handled, against the long-running drama? Check out fresh footage now and tune in for Grey's Anatomy Season 12 Episode 1 on Thursday, September 24 at 8/7c.

Philly Goons Shoot 20 Year Old Man Dead After Lil Durk Show It looks like someone had it out for the Chicago rapper after a concert in Philadelphia last night. Via TMZ Rapper Lil Durk’s tour bus was hit by gunfire in Philly as shots rang out before his concert, and one man is dead. It happened Friday night outside the Theater of Living Arts.  A man in his 20’s was fatally wounded and died at the hospital.  An argument erupted before the shots rang out, but it’s unclear what the beef was about. It’s also unclear why the tour bus was either targeted or accidentally hit. The suspect fled in a limo but cops eventually got him.  Three men were taken into custody and a handgun was recovered. RIP to the unnamed victim, smh.

Drake Afterparty Shooting Leaves 2 Dead, 3 Hospitalized

Disaster struck at a party hosted by Drake in Toronto early Tuesday morning. According to multiple outlets, two attendees were killed and three others sent to the hospital after what sources describe to Billboard as a “sporadic” shooting took place following the OVO Festival. The tragic incident went down at Muzik nightclub around 3:30 a.m. The venue sits on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition, which is across the bridge from the Molson Amphitheatre, where OVO ended its two-night run late Monday evening. Toronto Police Superintendent Frank Bergen of 14 Division says one victim died at the scene, while the other was pronounced dead at the hospital. Both were in their 20s to 30s; one was a male and one was a female; no further details are available at this time. “What occurred originally in the bar area had spilled out into the streets… so south and north of this area … we do have three separate crimes scenes,” Bergen said, adding: “At this point we do know for certain that one or two [shootings] were in the nightclub and we believe the others were outside of that area. “This is all unfolding now and we’re doing our investigation.” It is not known whether or not Drake was inside the club at the time of the shooting. A man was also shot at an OVO Festival afterparty at Muzik last year.

Bobbi Kristina Brown & Nick Gordon: Inside Their Abandoned Drug Den

Sadly, Bobbi Kristina passed away on Sunday, six months after being found unconscious in the bathtub of her Atlanta-area home. Now, that home is being renovated to go back on the market, and insiders say there is a lot of work to be done. Radar Online is reporting that the home Bobbi shared with Nick Gordon was so badly damaged from years of squalor and neglect that it may be months before it’s suitable for habitation again. “It was pretty bad in there,” says one source. “It’s destroyed. “Dog feces and stains were everywhere and the hardwood was sticky and icky. The walls were filthy, so those will need new paint. It was awful.” To make matters worse, Bobbi and Nick were both shopaholics, and entire rooms of the residence were reportedly filled floor-to-ceiling with their belongings. “Nick and Krissi would go on trips and fill suitcases with brand new clothes, then go on another trip and fill it with new clothes,” reveals the source. “So there were 15 to 20 luggage cases all over their floor. “[Nick] had 200 boxes of shoes in the dining room alone.” Bobbi’s belongings were removed from the home several weeks ago, around the time she was moved to hospice care . Gordon was banned from the home back in February. Insiders say the house is now empty, but they’re unsure of how long it will be before they can put it up for sale. Tom Brady: NFL Upholds Suspension, Accuses QB of Destroying Evidence

Good news for fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys: Your teams won’t have to worry about facing a title-defending Tom Brady early in the 2015 NFL season. (Although frankly, we doubt that’ll save you, Jacksonville.) NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has decided to uphold Brady’s four-game suspension that was handed down as a result of the quarterback’s alleged role in last year’s DeflateGate scandal . Brady and the Patriots have appealed, and even level-headed modern-day Solomon  Donald Trump believes Brady was treated unfairly , but in a move that’s surprised many, the league is sticking with its initial decision. In a statement released today, the NFL stated that one of the reasons it’s upholding the suspension is the belief that Brady intentionally concealed evidence by destroying a cell phone that was requested by investigators. “At the hearing, Mr. Brady testified that it is his practice to destroy (or to give to his assistant to destroy) his cellphone and SIM cards when he gets a new cell phone,” the statement reads. Of course, this is a common practice among public figures; the phone was destroyed before investigators requested it, and there’s no league rule against destruction of personal property. So needless to say, the appeal process is far from over, and the league will now likely face off against Brady and NFLPA in court. Let’s hope it ends better than the last time a Patriot went to court .

Walter Palmer Admits to Killing Cecil the Lion, Incurs Wrath of Internet

On July 1, Walter Palmer of Eden Prairie, Minnesota made the unfortunate decision to combine two things that most people aren’t that crazy about: dentists and killing protected animals. The 55-year-old was on a big-game hunt in Zimbabwe when he shot and killed a beloved and internationally-known lion known as Cecil. The killing sparked global outrage, and Palmer admitted to being the man responsible earlier today. “I had no idea that the lion I took was a known, local favorite, was collared and part of a study until the end of the hunt. I relied on the expertise of my local professional guides to ensure a legal hunt,” Palmer said in a statement issued to local media. Unfortunately for him, the Internet loves cats and hates root canals, which means Palmer is pretty much screwed. In the last 24 hours, his dental practice has been closed indefinitely; the business’ Facebook page has been removed as a result following hundreds of comments from animal rights advocates, and Palmer’s Yelp page has been bombarded with negative reviews. #CecilTheLion is currently the number one trending topic on Twitter, so it seems unlikely that there’s any relief in sight for Palmer. We guess the lesson would be: If you have to pay some shady guides $50,000 to kill something, it’s probably something you shouldn’t be killing.  The scandal brings to mind the furor that surrounded teen hunter Kendall Jones last year. Although something tells us folks won’t be so quick to forget about Palmer.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Funeral Scheduled For Monday

After six months in a coma and an autopsy that revealed no evidence of foul play, Bobbi Kristina Brown will finally be laid to rest on Monday.  Bobbi Kristina passed away on Sunday, but a thorough autopsy had to be conducted before her body could be released to her family. Now that the medical examiner’s investigation is complete, funeral arrangements have begun and sources say Bobbi Kristina will be buried next to Whitney Houston  on August 3 at Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey. Before the family heads north, however, a private memorial ceremony will be held near Krissi’s home in Alpharetta, Georgia. The family has not yet revealed if a larger ceremony for fans and well-wishers who did not know Bobbi Kristina personally will be scheduled. Currently, no cause of death has been determined, but it looks as though a planned homicide investigation will be called off, per the medical examiner’s findings. The coroner’s office has subpoenaed medical records from when Bobbi Kristina was first admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state back in January. The hope is that the toxicology report that was taken at that time will help to determine the 22-year-old’s cause of death.
