Randy Travis reportedly got himself into a lot more trouble this morning with alcohol. Just two weeks after the country singer was arrested for DUI – following a car accident in which he appeared to be driving naked – and six months after he was popped for public drunkenness , Travis was hospitalized due to injuries suffered in a church parking lot brawl around 1 a.m. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that they responded to the incident after receiving a tip about two men fighting and, upon arriving at the scene, escorted both to the hospital. One onlooker says Travis appeared to be “extremely intoxicated,” while another insider claims the fisticuffs took place over a female. No word yet from the artist or anyone in his camp. Melky Cabrera Fails Drug Test, Suspended 50 Games by Major League Baseball

Melky Cabrera, the 2012 All-Star Game MVP and one of the best players in baseball this season, has failed a test for performance enhancing drugs and been suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball. The San Francisco Giants outfielder registered high levels of testosterone – and didn’t deny the reason behind it. “My positive test was the result of my use of a substance I should not have used,” Cabrera said in a statement released by the players’ union. “I accept my suspension under the Joint Drug Program and I will try to move on with my life. I am deeply sorry for my mistake and I apologize to my teammates, to the San Francisco Giants organization and to the fans for letting them down.” In his first season as a Giant, Cabrera is batting .346 with 11 home runs and 60 RBI. He will miss the remaining 45 games of the regular season and the first five of the postseason, if San Francisco qualifies. Otherwise, he will sit to start the 2013 season. “We were extremely disappointed,” the team said. “We fully support Major League Baseball’s policy and its efforts to eliminate performance enhancing drugs from our game.”

Mayim Bialik Severely Injured in Car Accident, May Lose a Finger

Actress Mayim Bialik was involved in a car accident this afternoon in Los Angeles, sustaining a severe injury that may result in the loss of a finger. Sources tell TMZ that the crash took place around noon at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea. The Big Bang Theory star was reportedly driving alone in a white Volva and was struck by another vehicle, which was carrying tourists from Chile. An ambulance soon arrived and witnesses say there was “tons and tons of blood everywhere,” adding that Bialik’s finger was “almost completely severed… it was just hanging there.” The 36-year old is being treated at the hospital while we type. Man Shoots Wife While She’s In ICU An Ohio woman is in critical condition after her husband entered the hospital Intensive Care Unit where she was recovering….. and shot her . Ohio police say a 66-year-old man entered the intensive care unit of Akron General Medical Center and shot his 65-year-old wife while standing at her bedside. Akron police told The Associated Press early Sunday that the woman is in critical condition. Police say John Wise, of Massillon, entered the hospital shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday and went to see his wife, Barbara, in the intensive care unit, where she had been admitted a few days earlier. Authorities say Wise pulled out a handgun and shot his wife of 45 years. Hospital spokesman Jim Gosky says one shot was fired. What in the world could have been the motive for this craziness?? Tabloids in Great Britain are buzzing over Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas , a 23-year old model (whose mother is 60s pin-up Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon) and their recent night out at The Dark Knight Rises premiere in London. While Bonas technically attended the event as someone else’s date, insiders say Harry and the beauty were especially “playful,” especially at the after-party. “Inside the club they were very, very friendly together and getting very cozy with each other,” a witness tells People . Kyle Glover, 11-Year Old Stepson of Usher, Dies of Brain Injuries

Tragic news today for Usher and his estranged ex-wife, Tameka Foster: Kyle Glover , Tameka’s 11-year old son from a previous relationship, has been taken off life support and has passed away two weeks after suffering irreversible brain damage in a jet skiing accident. The fatal injury occurred on Lake Lanier in Atlanta on July 8, as Kyle was riding on an inner tube when he was struck by a passer-by in a jet ski. That individual is named Jeffrey S. Hubbard and is in under investigation for his actions. Doctors quickly determined that Kyle was medically brain dead and he had been on life support in the hospital until this morning. The tragedy took place while Usher and Foster were engaged in a contentious custody fight for the two kids they share. But that court battle has now taken a backseat to the sad circumstances surrounding Glover. We send our thoughts and prayer to his family.

Halle Berry Injured on Set, Taken to Hospital

Due to a judge’s decision, Halle Berry was hit really hard in the wallet last month. She will be shelling out a ton to ex Gabriel Aubry going forward. But the actress was injured in a far more literal way last night, TMZ confirms, smashing her head on concrete while filming a movie and getting taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Sources tell the site that the mishap occurred around 10 p.m. local time and that an ambulance on scene rushed the gorgeous star to the hospital. There’s no word yet on the actress’ condition, but we’ll update this story when we know more. UPDATE : A rep for the star says: “Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, ‘The Hive.’ She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released.
