It looks like the James Franco Instagram scandal was real, and really embarrassing for the star, who apologized for it on Live with Kelly and Michael today. If you missed it, screen grabs of the actor flirting with a teenage girl via Instagram went viral, and were apparently not a hoax to promote his movie Palo Alto . “I was feeling awkward … I didn’t want to come on the show and just feel awkward,” James Franco, 35, confessed to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. “I’m embarrassed, and I guess I’m just a model of how social media is tricky.” James Franco on Live with Kelly and Michael “It’s the way that people meet each other today, but what I’ve learned – I guess because I’m new to it – is you don’t know who’s on the other end.” “You get a feel for them, you don’t know who you’re talking to,” he lamented, adding that by any measure. “I used bad judgment and learned my lesson.” On April 3, images surfaced of an exchange between Franco and 17-year-old fan Lucy Corde, whom he asked, “What’s the hotel? Should I rent a room?” When Corde replied that his comment could have been part of an April Fool’s joke, Franco sent a selfie confirming it was him, then kept on flirting. Eventually, when he learned his young admirer was not 18, James bailed on the conversation, but soon enough, it became a nationally trending story. Selena Gomez may inspiring fans with her post-rehab clarity, but if a new report is to be believed, Justin Bieber’s on-again, off-again flame has been partying harder than ever. After departing her in-patient program 2 weeks early, Selena was allegedly seen drunkenly stumbling around a post-Oscar party and partying with actor Jared Leto. Worse, In Touch Weekly witnesses say the 21-year-old singer/actress holed up in a hotel after a fight with her mom and went on a week-long bender. “She looked like she’d been at it for a while,” said one onlooker. “Her lips were stained from the red wine she was drinking.” Other eye witnesses say that Selena Gomez celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by binge drinking and chain smoking in the hotel’s restaurant … scandalous. “They didn’t order food,” says one patron at the venue. “They just kept ordering drinks and going out to smoke cigarettes. LeAnn Rimes: Broke and Alone?!

Years after stealing Brandi Glanville ‘s husband, LeAnn Rimes continues to make tabloid headlines for her relationship with Eddie Cibrian. The ever-reliable Star magazine reports that LeAnn is completely broke these days and she’s been all but abandoned by Eddie. The report, and its “anonymous sources” claim Eddie’s acting career has dried up and he hasn’t made any money in years, so he’s been burning through Leann’s savings. Of course, LeAnn’s career isn’t exactly on fire these days and she’s allegedly worried that Eddie will leave her “if she can’t keep brining in so much money.” As a result, the singer is “exhausting every possibility she has to make a buck.” LeAnn fired back on Twitter, stating that she’s “flattered” that her face sells so many magazines and pointing out that this story conflicts slightly with the tabloid’s earlier claim that she’s worth about $50 million. As usual, the truth is probably somewhere in between, but the truth doesn’t sell magazines! Meanwhile, LeAnn keeps playing into the tabloids’ games by publicly responding. Someone needs to teach her that if you keep feeding the trolls, they’ll always follow you home.

So you know this stunt has to really hurt: When Lamar came back home from Spain, he made a DEVASTATING phone call to his ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales, the mother of his two children. “He got dirty with Liza over the phone, acting like he wanted to hook up with her again,” a source close to the struggling basketball star reports. Liza Morales , fortunately for her, “laughed at him. But if he’s trying to get things better with Khloe, she’d better watch out, because Lamar is still creeping.” So much for the whole “Khloe will always be my wife” thing. Khloe Kardashian has been humiliated by Lamar Odom over and over and over again it seems, and just when you thought he was done comes this report: He’s been trying to hook up with his baby mama since returning to the U.S. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star is putting on a brave face as she moves on with her life and continues to maintain a relationship with Lamar. Heck, we’ve reported on a potential Khloe Kardashian-Lamar Odom reunion as recently as this week. So you know this stunt has to really hurt: When Lamar came back home from Spain, he made a DEVASTATING phone call to his ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales, the mother of his two children. “He got dirty with Liza over the phone, acting like he wanted to hook up with her again,” a source close to the struggling basketball star reports. Liza Morales , fortunately for her, “laughed at him. But if he’s trying to get things better with Khloe, she’d better watch out, because Lamar is still creeping.” So much for the whole “Khloe will always be my wife” thing. Khloe and Lamar Talking All the Time? Indeed, Khloe’s estranged spouse seems to be back to his old ways. Booty calls aside, the 34-year-old was spotted “flirting with two women in the lobby of the Aloft Harlem Hotel,” on March 14 an eyewitness reports. How does he do it? How to they fall for it? Says a family friend: “He nows how to make women feel special. While the Keeping up with the Kardashians star is putting on a brave face as she goes through the motions of trying to have a relationship with Odom, she may be shocked to find out he still isn’t being faithful to her. He recently returned to the States after an injury incurred while he was playing in Spain, and it’s when he arrived in New York City that he made a devastating phone call to his ex,Liza Morales, who is the mother of his two children. “He got dirty with Liza over the phone, acting like he wanted to hook up with her again,” a source told In Touch magazine. “Liza laughed at him. But if he’s trying to get things better with Khloe, she’d better watch out, because Lamar is still creeping.” Kardashian’s estranged hubby seemed to be back to his old ways.
