I’m Kendall and April 28th, 2012 was literally the best…

I’m Kendall and April 28th, 2012 was literally the best day I have ever had in my life because I met my boyfriend Justin Drew Bieber. On the 27th, I heard Justin was going to the Tribecca Film Festival but it was during the day and I wasn’t allowed to go because I of course had 3 tests that day . It turns out that all my friends who went, met him and got kisses on the cheek from him in pictures and I started bawling my eyes out in school and at my lacrosse game and I was just depressed. That night I heard from a friend where he was staying and I called up my two other friends saying, “GUYS LETS GO TO THE CITY TOMORROW,” at like 12 o’clock at night and I didn’t even tell my mom until the morning.  We took the train in at around 9:30 and we were shaking and going crazy on the train. People were texting me saying I heard he left, I heard he’s here, I heard he’s there and blah blah blah, and so at this point I was like whatever I’m not going to get my hopes up, I doubt I’ll meet him. I got there around 10:45 am and there was no one there except for 2 girls and a mom and we weren’t sure if they were waiting for Justin or not so I asked and they were, which meant he was most likely still in the city so my hopes went up a little bit. As time went on a few more people came and of course beliebers become friends. There were not many people, it was only about 12 kids which wasn’t bad at all. They started to put these two barricades around us and at that point I was like OMG JUSTIN IS DEFINITELY HERE! I went up to the escalade we thought he was going into and we talked to the driver. He told us he was driving Justin, as soon as we walked away from the driver, he drives away to the back of the building. I sprinted as fast as I possibly could to the back just in case and he went into a garage in the hotel and the door closed. We were here for about 2 and a half hours already at this point and there was paparazzi around the front so we didn’t know where to wait, of course. I was about to cry not knowing what to do.  About an hour later, the garage doors open and the escalade comes out and the window rolls down what it seemed to be slow motion. At that moment I was just in complete shock, Justin was so beautiful he looked airbrushed he was so perfect. I sprint up to the car and was the first one there. I was like, “HI JUSTIN!” Everyone was FLIPPING out so Justin goes, “Don’t worry guys. I’m not going anywhere.” I start taking my picture and all of a sudden I realize I took a video and I’m like OH NO! So then I took another picture with him and it was just perfect. He grabbed out for my phone and held it with me while we took a picture and he smiled with his teeth in this picture, which I love when he does that.  After everyone got the picture I ran back up to the car and I was like Justin one more, he goes I’m sorry guys I gotta go,  and I was holding his hand in the car and then he starts rolling up the window and my hands were in the car. I screamed, “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH JUSTIN!” He said, “Love you too!”  and the window rolls up and he pulled out. Tears start POURING down my face and I ran around the perimeter of the hotel screaming, “I JUST MET JUSTIN BIEBER!” It honestly couldn’t have been more perfect, Justin was so sweet. I absolutely never expected this at all, I just went with the flow and it turned out for once I was lucky. I always sat here reading MBE’s and I would bawl my eyes out! Everyone who hasn’t met him yet, you all know the motto to NEVER SAY NEVER because it will happen and when it does, you will be the happiest person alive.  -@kendallrochlin See the original post: I’m Kendall and April 28th, 2012 was literally the best…

My Bieber Experience was on the 23rd April 2012 at Heathrow…

My Bieber Experience was on the 23rd April 2012 at Heathrow Airport. I’d travelled up from Birmingham and spent the night before in London because I knew Justin was gonna be there on the 23rd. I kept thinking of a way to meet Justin the next day but I had no idea where he would be! In the morning I happened to come  across  a tweet about where Justin would be landing so I knew I had to go straight to the airport. After waiting around 2.5 hours, Justin suddenly came out of the international arrival door! I have never ran so fast in my life! I managed to get a photo with him on the front camera of my iPhone, he was so nice and took the photo for me because I was shaking too much! He then got escorted off by his security because he was getting bombarded by girls. But I then chased after him and while there was no one around him I ran up to him. I said, “Justin I have your name tattoo’d on me.” I then lifted up my shorts to show him the tattoo. I didn’t know how he was gonna react because I know it’s pretty weird and some people call me a pyscho because of it but I can honestly say Justin changed my life and this was just a little thing I wanted to dedicate to him! Anyway, he said it was awesome! I then got a hug off him! That was the best moment of my life. When arriving back to my hotel I came across an amazing picture on Tumblr showing me and Justin just after I had showed him my tattoo, he had the BIGGEST smile on his face ever, and it made me so happy to see him look at me like that. But the great things didn’t end there. The following day Justin SPOKE ABOUT ME on Capital FM! He said there was a girl with my name tattoo’d on her! This made me so happy to know he had remembered me, and I just wanna say Justin if you read this I’m the girl, please follow me on Twitter @rosieibbotsonxx . It would mean the world to me! Here’s the video of me showing Justin my tattoo & giving him a hug.   View post: My Bieber Experience was on the 23rd April 2012 at Heathrow…

My name is Toni. On Sunday 22nd April I stayed at the airport…

My name is Toni.  On Sunday 22nd April I stayed at the airport all night to wait for Justin. My friend and I were the only ones there. I didn’t sleep at all. Finally the time came when Justin arrived, he got mobbed so badly but I didn’t as Scooter had asked everyone to stay back and said, “If you all get into a line Justin will take pictures with everyone” but no one listened. I was standing talking to Scooter and he said he would get Justin to take a picture with me but it got too dangerous so they had to leave, but at one point I was standing next to Justin and he smiled at me. When he was getting into the car, Scooter said, “If you care about his safety then make a pathway for him”. Of course I did but people started to pull him. I was screaming at them, “Get off him, you’re going to hurt him” and pulling people away from him. On Monday night I camped outside the hotel, there was only 4 of us. Scooter came out and we spoke to him for 45 minutes. He said to me, “I remember you from the airport, thank you for helping him” Then I got a picture with him. I was so happy , Scooter was so lovely. He then said, “I promise you guys if you go home or some where warm, you will meet Justin” . We all said we would and then I asked Scooter, “Will you ask Alfredo if he will come to Starbucks with me?” which he replied, “Yeah sure I will, but I have to go get some sleep, it was really great to meet you”. The next morning I met Justin when he was leaving. He rolled down his window in the car and was talking to us, and I gave him my letter. Then I sat in Starbucks, I came outside and bumped into Alfredo and got a picture with him . I said, “Alfredo I’ve been tweeting you for ages to see if you’ll come to Starbucks with us and Scooter said he’d tell you as well” To which he replied, “Yeah I know, I’m sorry I went without you”.  I was going to go home that night but I was determined to meet Justin as Scooter promised I would and guess what? Scooter kept to that promise! On Tuesday night Justin and Alfredo came out of the hotel on there own and took pictures with us and asked how long we had been there. Alfredo said, “You are crazy”. Then I asked him about Starbucks again and he laughed at me. I t was so cute. Then they said, “Please don’t follow us” and we all said “We won’t dont worry, thank you so much for coming to see us”. Then we all saw Niall Horan from One Direction. He was inside the hotel but security wouldn’t let him take pictures because they  supposedly  didn’t have time. Justin has changed my life in so many ways, everyone always told me I would never meet him but I kept telling myself, “I will meet him, NEVER SAY NEVER”. If it wasn’t for Justin I wouldn’t be alive today. I’m staying strong for him because he’d hate to see me hurting myself. I’m so grateful that I had the chance to meet the guy who saved my life (not just saying that, he literally saved me when I was in hospital, I would have tried to do what I did again otherwise). I promise you all that if you DREAM & ARE PERSISTENT YOU WILL GET TO MEET HIM ONE DAY!  – @ToniBieberDemi6  Excerpt from: My name is Toni. On Sunday 22nd April I stayed at the airport…

Gotye Changes Tune On ‘Glee’ Cover

Singer says the show’s version of ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ was not ‘dinky,’ but ‘clever.’ By Gil Kaufman Gotye Photo: MTV News Did Australian singing sensation Gotye say he thought the “Glee” cover of his breakthrough hit “Somebody That I Used to Know” was “dinky and wrong” , “ultra-dry” and sounded like “it’s playing to you from a cardboard box?” Well, what he actually meant was that the version performed by Darren Criss and Matt Bomer on last week’s episode was “really clever.” According to The Hollywood Reporter , during a private performance at a Los Angeles club on Monday afternoon Gotye clarified his comments. He explained that, “The nature of using reverb and space in a recording can change your perception of how a sound appeals to you.” That was after he originally said, “They did such a faithful arrangement of the instrumentals but the vocals were that pop ‘Glee’ style, ultra-dry, sounded pretty tuned and the rock has no real sense, like it’s playing to you from a cardboard box,” which was actually meant as a compliment. See, what Gotye was referring to was, “This xylophone hook in my song — it’s kind of dinky not just in the cover version but the original song.” Aha! Furthermore, Gotye said he thought the interpretation of his hit on the choral drama was, “Really clever to transpose the song to two guys … It was a great idea.” Whatever Gotye thought of it, the cover was just what “Somebody” needed to get over the hump and top the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And Gotye wasn’t the first singer to slam the show (and/or creator Ryan Murphy), joining a list that includes the Foo Fighters
, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and Kings of Leon

The Wanted ‘Psych Each Other’ Before Big ‘Today’ Performance

MTV News chills in the ‘Today’ green room with the band on the day of their EP release. By Jocelyn Vena The Wanted rehearse before “Today” performance Photo: Brian Phares/MTV News NEW YORK — “Oh my god, they’re so normal!” one fan declared as she caught a glimpse of the Wanted leaving their hotel this morning. It was one of many exciting fan encounters the band would have on Tuesday (April 24), as they were out in New York City promoting their self-titled U.S. debut EP and the release of their new video, “Chasing the Sun.” MTV News was on hand with the guys in the early hours Tuesday while they chilled in the “Today” show green room chatting, eating breakfast and goofing around with a fat cat and a dog named Ted, both of whom were on the show today as well. “We just arrived and we saw a 40-pound cat crawling across the floor,” group member Siva Kaneswaran told MTV News about the early morning wakeup call and the show’s other guest, a cat who is currently having his own moment chasing the sun. “This is the kind of stuff that happens to the Wanted. It’s too early for this,” he continued. “There’s lots of big stuff happening today and were gonna do some crazy things.” Before they performed “Chasing” and their hit single “Glad You Came” on the morning news show, Siva explained how the guys prep for an appearance on a show like “Today.” “We prepared for this show this morning by having cups of tea and Cheerios, good for the heart,” Siva, who declared he is not a morning person, shared. “Basically, just psych each other, gaze into each other’s eyes and get excited, and that’s what gets us through the day.” The “Today” show was the first of many media appearances the Wanted will make on Tuesday, leading up to their “MTV First” airing tonight at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV. They will sit down with MTV News’ Sway Calloway to debut and chat about the “Chasing” video. Demi Lovato Speaks on Illicit Drug Use: I Could Have Died

A couple weeks ago on Twitter, Demi Lovato bared her true face . Now, in the pages of British magazine Fabulous , the singer is baring her soul. In one of her more honest interviews to date, the 19-year old goes into detail about her pre-rehab drug use, telling the publication: “I was depressed. I would come offstage in front of 18,000 people and suddenly be alone in a hotel room. I’d come crashing down and would try to find a way to re-create that feeling, to stay ‘up.'” And you might be shocked to learn who fueled Demi’s habit. “Promoters gave me drugs and alcohol in restaurants or clubs,” she said. “They wanted me to come back so I would be seen there. They were basically kissing my ass.” Lovato, of course, entered a treatment facility in November 2010 and has talked since about her emotional and physical issues, citing an eating disorder and bi-polarity. But this is the first time she’s really discussed any kind of substance abuse. “Being a celebrity can be dangerous. Nobody says ‘no’. That’s why so many end up overdosing and dying. It could definitely have happened to me.” Instead, thank God, Demi has bounced back and her career is going strong. She performed last month on American Idol .

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux: Planning Summer Wedding in Crete?

Looks like Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are planning a wedding thousands of miles away from Tinseltown, possibly this summer, according to reports. No, this is not just some made-up tabloid story in response to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie getting engaged. Jen really was seen recently scouting places in Crete . Sources connected with the Elounda Beach Hotel in Crete, an island south of Greece (where Jen’s dad was born) say she was there to check the place out. She also mentioned a possible July wedding, apparently. The hotel website boasts a wedding package that includes a dedicated consultant, a civil or religious ceremony and various decorations for just $2,300! Somehow we’re guessing Jen would add more extravagant touches … if she even has it there. One hotel employee says she hasn’t settled on his hotel. At least not yet. Jen is still considering other places on the island as well. As he put it, “She has connections on the other side of the island as well.” It pays to have those for possible wedding venues in Crete. On 4/20, Revisit Dazed and Confused With the Criterion Collection

Dazed and Confused often gets lumped in with pot comedies and is celebrated on 4/20, but Richard Linklater’s first studio film transcends mere pot comedy and is still one of the most realistic teen movies ever made. It arrived at a time (1993) when teen movies were out of vogue, and it dared to take a trip down memory lane to a time remembered more with cringes than smiles. It’s arguably the most anti-nostalgia period movie ever, as acknowledged by Linklater himself. Digging in to the Criterion Collection extras (a Blu-ray Criterion release came out in October ), here are some bits of evidence of that, tied to some of the movie’s most memorable lines. “It’s the like every-other-decade theory, you know? The ’50s were boring. The ’60s rocked. The ’70s, oh my God, they obviously suck.” Linklater admits that teenage years are tough no matter what decade you’re in: “I can’t look back too nostalgically at this,” he says. “It’s the only years you have. You’ve got no choice.” But the filmmaker looked around at teen movies that’d been done before and still wanted to tell his teenage rock ’n’ roll movie. Strangely, when asked about the ’70s in behind-the-scenes footage and cast interviews, many of the teenage actors came out of the film shoot having a favorable opinion of the decade. The core group of girls, who bonded offscreen — Parker Posey, Joey Lauren Adams, Christine Harnos and Michelle Burke — actually appreciated the wardrobe of bellbottoms and pants that jokingly required pliers to zip up. For a painful look back at what people wore in the ’70s, see also an audio-free, fairly eerie feature in which the costume supervisor dons many of the characters’ costumes. “Wipe that face off your head, bitch.” The off-the-cuff line is spoken by fascist hazing ringleader Darla, played by Posey, after she tortures the new group of freshman girls on the last day of school. In one of the cast interviews, the actress says that the line was from a play she’d done and was a bad translation from German. She suggested the line to Linklater, and he was all for it. In the DVD commentary and making-of feature, Linklater likened working on his studio debut — for the mini-major Gramercy Pictures — to the initiation rituals that kick the film into gear. (A gleefully vicious Ben Affleck is Posey’s male counterpart.) The director references the bits he had to fight to include, like a simple “good game” hand-slap lineup after Mitch’s baseball game, that didn’t move the film forward but instead captured the dull essence of what life is like for a teenager. Of the pressure from studio executives, Linklater says: “At the end of the day, it was sort of my boxing match that makes or breaks you as a fighter, and I sort of survived it. I don’t know if I won or if there was a draw. I think I won.” That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age. The role of Wooderson, the skeezy older member of the pack, was a breakthrough for Matthew McConaughey, and the story of how he stumbled into the role is recounted in a couple of the film’s special features. Basically, McConaughey happened to be at the same Austin, Texas, hotel bar as casting director Don Phillips. They did some serious male bonding over a four-hour conversation, talking about everything but movies. When they got kicked out of the bar for talking too loudly, the wannabe actor proved himself so awesome — by calling the hotel to stand up for Phillips — that the casting director suggested he would be good for what was then a small part in the film. Of the “high school girls” line, one of Wooderson’s best, Linklater says in the director commentary, “It concerns me I could write such a line.” Of the character himself, the director admits that having the older but not necessarily wiser member of the group of friends was an essential teen memory for him. He cites the years before driving age when kids are at the mercy of anyone willing to chauffeur them around, and how peer pressure came into play in those cases. All I’m saying is that if I ever start referring to these as the best years of my life, remind me to kill myself. Perhaps the reason many critics complain that Dazed and Confused has no plot is that Linklater strove to capture the boredom of being a teenager: driving around, meeting up late at night back at the place you hate, your high school, because there’s nowhere else to go. In several of the extra features, the director recalls that viewers have told him the movie is just like their high school experience. He seems taken aback by it, though, because it does show a specific small-town Texas life that he survived, with characters that were composites of old friends. Those composites are the only cause for nostalgia in the movie. The friends who were a lifeline to sanity during high school are worth remembering. Similarly, in a bittersweet interview, local Austin actress Christin Hinojosa, who played freshman Sabrina, gives a teary interview toward the end of filming in which she talks about the friends she made the summer of the shoot, and how just like at the end of camp, they probably won’t stay in touch.
