My name is Katya and I’m 15 years old & I live in South Florida . On Wednesday February 2, 2012 my dad took me to the studio in Miami because the one and only Justin Bieber was going to be there. I called him during school to tell him and he knows that I’ve been through so much that he agreed to take me. I’ve been a belieber for 3 long years and I am obsessed with Justin. I have attended 2 concerts, flown to NYC for the book signing and entered millions of contests to try to meet him and never have actually met him. My little sister met him before I did in summer of 2010 and I was completely devastated. I kept asking why this would happen to me, when I was the one who knew everything about Justin and I was the obsessed one. All I wanted was to meet him even more. Thanksgiving was coming up and I heard about Justin’s book signing in NYC so I convinced my parents to take me and well lets just say that I waited in the rain/cold weather for 7 hours and when they did the head count for 1000 girls, the line got cut in front of me. I went to the hotel, fell asleep and when I woke up, it turns out they had let another 1000 girls in! I lost all the hope I had. People kept telling me, “good things happen to those who wait, be patient” but all I ever thought of was how I was never going to meet him. Then 2012 began and my New Years resolution was to meet him and on February 2nd it all payed off. I got to the studio around 7:50 and by 8:00, 10 girls and I were watching Justin Bieber walk over to us . I surprisingly was clam due to the fact that I kept thinking “this is a dream”. Things like this don’t happen to people like me. He came over with his hands in his pocket and said, “How’d you girls know I was here?” laughing and smiling! At this point, I couldn’t hold it in so I blared, “OMG Justin. I love you SO much! This is like a dream come true for me” and he replied, “Love you too” . Alfredo was with him and one thing led to another, Justin took all our cameras and handed them to Alfredo for a group photo. Justin got right infront of me but before Alfredo took pictures, Justin Bieber ducked and stuck out his hands, I GRABBED ON TO IT and Alfredo started clicking away!! We were behind the gate but nothing stopped me from being the happiest girl there! I was there until midnight and saw him skateboard like 4 feet away from me , and well we had a full on conversation! I had no thoughts, words or worries because I had finally met Justin Bieber. The next morning, the picture of us holding hands was all over Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, OceanUp, Miami Herald and even on Local News! The best part about it was that Justin tweeted the picture , which means that he hopefully saw my face and our hands locking! Yesterday and today walking down the school hallway is like walking down a red carpet. Some people know me as the girl who held Justin’s hand! My name is Georgina, I’m 13 1/2 years old, I’m from Queensland , Australia, and this is My Bieber Experience. It was the 31st January, 2012. I was on holiday with my mum, my step-dad, my sister and my friend, Sami in Canada. We were going to places like Vancouver and Whistler. When we were in Toronto seeing Niagara Falls, we decided to make the two hour drive to Stratford, purely for the the fact that my idol and inspiration Justin Bieber, grew up there. When we arrived at the hotel, Sami and I were excited to discover that not too long before, Selena Gomez had stayed there and Justin Bieber had visited (looking dashing, according to the receptionist)! On the topic of the couple, the woman at the desk gave us signed Bieber-themed town maps that included 18 points of interest for Beliebers . She also informed us that she had worked with Diane (Justin’s grandma) for 14 years! Already excited from all this, we headed out to begin our tour of Stratford. On our way to the Avon Theatre, we passed the police station and saw two VERY familiar looking people exiting. It took a few seconds for me to realize that these people… were Justin’s GRANDPARENTS! I quickly turned to Sami and whisper-shouted to her, “Oh, my god! That’s Justin Bieber’s grandparents!” Diane was on the phone, but Bruce (Justin’s grandpa) noticed me staring and started walking over. I started freaking out but managed to keep myself from screaming or crying and asked for a photo. He smiled and said, “Yeah, if you have a camera!” While we got the camera out, I could do nothing but stare in shock as he asked my sister where we were from, why we were here etc. Diane eventually walked back over and we had the photo. Oh, and Justin’s grandpa really is as adorable as he seems. As soon as they left, I burst out crying (tears of joy, of course) and started hyperventilating. Sami, my mum and my sister all laughed, but I just sat on the pavement, feeling happier than I had ever been in my entire life. We went on to visit his old house, the pizza restaurant he ate at in Never Say Never, the community centre that he performed in the Stratford Idol at and much more! It was unbelievable because he was late by more than an hour, then we just wished him good luck for the ceremony, where he also won a prize, then let him go. Five minutes later we thought, “Damn, we were with Justin Bieber, and we forgot to ask him a picture!” Two hours later, we went back to our hotel to watch the ceremony on the TV, and we said, “When they talk about Justin, we go straight to his hotel” That’s what we did, but Justin didn’t come to see us, so we went back to our hotel, and returned the next morning. It was ten o’clock, when he pointed his nose outside, in a t-shirt. It was 6 degrees. I was so shocked, I asked him if he was not too cold. We spoke together for a good ten minutes, we talked about his next visit to France, his weekend in France, which was short, but he loved it, we took pictures and then let him go to his car. I was going with my friend and we were so excited. We wanted to meet Justin so we made a video for bieberfever.com but we didn’t win. We were so sad. We also participated in others contests. The trip to the stadium was long, I was too nervous. 30 minutes later the bus crushed a car. I started crying and I couldn’t believe that I was going to be late. I was scared because I didn’t want to lose the opportunity of my life. It was my dream. When the bus finally arrived, I started running to find my friend. Finally after 15 minutes I found her and she gave me a yellow pass which said “Justin Bieber”. I COULDN’T BELIEVE I WAS GOING TO MEET HIM. Three hours ago, I was in my house without knowing that my dream was going to come true. I was so grateful of my friend. A woman told us the things we couldn’t do with Justin. We entered to the stadium, I was so nervous that I thought I was going to die. We waited in a row. A woman came and took my friend with KENNY! When I saw Kenny, I started crying. Kenny said we had to be at the end of the row, to be the last girls to meet Justin. Then I was still crying and I saw a person walking, it was ALFREDO FLORES. In regard to the musical element of the festival, this year’s performance and concert lineup features a slew of big names more accustomed to large venues with sell-out crowds than the intimate settings at Sundance’s smaller-scale venues. Park City Live in association with Continuum Entertainment Group will host live performances by LMFAO & House of Party Rock on Saturday, deadmau5 on Sunday, and Drake on Monday at the Memorial Building at 427 Main Street. Microsoft’s Bing Bar, located at the historic former Claim Jumper Hotel on Main Street, will feature Wiz Khalifa and Jason Mraz on Friday, Drake on Saturday, Cobra Starship on Sunday, Theophilus London on Monday, and James Murphy on Tuesday. Their SPIN Music Sessions series will include happy-hour shows by Gary Clark Jr. on Friday, Cool Kids on Saturday, Group Love on Sunday, and Fitz and the Tantrums on Monday. Following Friday’s artist talk with guests Mary J.
