Former South Carolina state representative Bakari Sellers threw some shots at Token Yeezy’s visit with the Orange Overlord of Chaos, which caused fellow panelist Scott Jennings, who is white, to react with his eyebrows that had host Don Lemon cracking up. Mediate reports : A CNN panelist Tuesday night called Kanye West “the token Negro of the Trump Administration.” The remark was as part of a discussion about the news that West will meet with Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday — a visit which comes after the rapper’s most recent shows of support for the president. CNN’s Don Lemon asked his panel — which featured liberal commentator Bakari Sellers, conservative commentator Tara Setmayer, and conservative commentator Scott Jennings — for their take on whether this lunch will be about policy or celebrity photo-ops. The outlet points at Sellers saying, “Kanye West is what happens when Negroes don’t read,” with Setmayer explaining to Jennings it was a reference to a Chris Rock joke. Setmayer then made a reference to Dave Chappelle’s racial draft skit in regards to West, which Jennings excitedly said he knew of as an apparent fan of the show. Lemon gamely tried to hold his composure although he was less successful than some may have hoped. Sellers has been catching some backlash online too, going toe-to-toe with fellow Trump broom pusher Candace Owens. Oh Candace, bless your heart. Kanye is what happens when negroes don’t read. Kanye West thinks he is doing his best to make America great again. On October 11, the controversial rapper met with the even more controversial President to discuss… … well, we have no idea, really. At one point, Kanye confirmed that he wants to abolish the 13th amendment . At another point, he bragged about how much money he'smade with his shoe deal. It such a rant from West that Trump was actually left speechless. He had no idea what to say when it was all over. And we can't really blame him. Source: CBS/Getty Images Tina Turner’s Upcoming Memoir My Love Story Details Ike Turner’s Sexually Abusive Behavior These days, when you hear “fighting like Ike and Tina” the phrase doesn’t speak to much more than a lovers’ quarrel. Thanks to the 1993 film What’s Love Got To Do With It , which depicted the famous couple’s toxic relationship, it’s easy to forget that Tina Turner is a survivor who lived through years and years of unbelievable abuse —in real life. It was serious and now in her upcoming memoir My Love Story , excerpted by the Daily Mail , she admits the abuse she endured was even worse than fans ever knew. Too “embarrassed” to admit how bad things were with her late ex-husband Ike Turner at the time, the icon now says she was also sexually abused during their relationship. Detailing how their marriage began , she wrote in her memoir: “When Ike Turner proposed, there was nothing romantic about it. ‘You want to marry me?’ he said. Gruff, terse, no niceties. Marriage to me, he thought, was a good manoeuvre. It would help him out of a tricky situation with one of his former wives, who wanted to extract some money from him. Who knows which wife it was. By 1962, Ike had been married so many times, I’d lost track — and all those wives were in addition to the countless girlfriends who came and went with dizzying speed.” They’d gone to Mexico to marry “because they weren’t fussy about little things like having a marriage license.” After, Ike took Tina to a brothel: “You see, so long as Ike was in down-and-dirty Tijuana, he wanted to have fun, his kind of fun. So he took me to a whorehouse. On my wedding night. I’ve never, ever, told anyone this story before. I was too embarrassed. What kind of bridegroom takes his brand-new wife to a live pornographic sex show, right after their marriage ceremony? There I sat, in this filthy place, watching Ike out of the corner of my eye, wondering: ‘Does he really like this? How could he?’ It was all so ugly. The male performer was unattractive and seemingly impotent, and the girl — well, let’s just say that what was on display was more gynaecological than erotic. I was miserable, on the verge of tears, but there was no escape. We couldn’t leave until Ike was ready, and he was having a fine old time. The experience was so disturbing that I just scratched it out. By the time we got back to Los Angeles, I’d created a completely different scenario in my head — a romantic elopement. The following day, I was bragging to people: ‘Guess what? Oh, Ike took me to Tijuana. We got married yesterday!’” Tina also detailed her 1968 suicide attempt, which she says happened on a day she felt insulted and diminished as a human being. “Why did I snap on an ordinary day in 1968? For starters, there were three women at the house at the time, and Ike was having sex with all of them. Three of us were named Ann — which meant he only had to remember one name. One of the Anns, Ann Thomas, was pregnant with his child — another insult to me. Everything was diminishing — my status, my confidence, my world. One night, just before a gig, I simply couldn’t take any more and swallowed 50 sleeping pills. I knew they’d take time to work, so I calculated that I’d get through the opening number — which meant Ike would still get paid for the booking. I was so well trained that even my suicide had to be convenient for him. The pills, however, kicked in just as I started to put on my make-up, and I ended up being rushed to hospital. As the doctors pumped my stomach, I was fading fast. That’s when Ike moved closer and started speaking to me, probably doing his best imitation of a concerned husband. In my subconscious, I heard the voice of my tormentor, cursing me softly.” Elsewhere in her memoir, she says sex with her husband was “a kind of rape.” “In the early Seventies, he started doing cocaine — because someone had told him it would give him more stamina for sex. As if Ike Turner needed to spend another minute on his love life! He was well-endowed, and having sex was practically his full-time job. For me, though, sex with Ike had become an expression of hostility — a kind of rape — especially when it began or ended with a beating. What had been ugly and hateful between us before became worse with every snort of cocaine. He threw hot coffee in my face, giving me third-degree burns. He used my nose as a punching bag so many times that I could taste blood running down my throat when I sang. He broke my jaw. And I couldn’t remember what it was like not to have a black eye. As reported by the New York Times, the polarizing MC is expected to meet with Donald Trump and son-in-law/senior adviser Jared Kushner on Thursday (October 11). A representative for ‘Ye confirmed the meeting to the NYT. The G.O.O.D. Music boss will reportedly first meet with Kushner then have lunch with 45. According to a source briefed on the appointment, Kanye is meeting with Kushner, who has been attempting to overhaul the criminal justice system, to discuss job opportunities for former convicts. The man was accused of sexual assault and misconduct causing woman and allies across the country to protest his nomination. Yet, the guy still secured the judge spot….and on top of this, he’s hired all-women law clerks, according to The New York Times . Kavanaugh becomes the first Supreme Court judge to ever do this. He’s carrying out a statement he made during his second Senate Judiciary Committee hearing where he testified on allegations of sexual assault against him by Christine Blasey Ford . Kavanaugh pointed out his record of hiring female law clerks as a way to defend his respect for women. Now whether he’s providing a safe work environment for these women is a totally different story. The law clerks are made up of Shannon Grammel, Megan Lacy and one of Kavanaugh’s former clerks from the D.C. Circuit Court, Kim Jackson . The fourth clerk, Sara Nommensen , is a former student of Kavanaugh’s from Harvard Law School. She previously worked at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel. According to a Guardian report, a Yale Law School professor, Amy Chua , allegedly advised female students who wanted to work with Kavanaugh to mind what they wear. She allegedly said it’s “not an accident” that Kavanaugh’s female law clerks “looked like models.” Chau later denied the report, saying in a statement to The Guardian that Kavanaugh “only hires those who are extraordinarily qualified.” Mhm. According to The National Law Journal , Kavanaugh hired 25 women and 23 men while he was an appeals court judge on the D.C. Circuit. Most of the women have supported Kavanaugh during the sexual assault allegations against him. Eighteen of them signed a letter supporting his Supreme Court confirmation.

Or at least to be supporting a pair of democrats in her home state of Tennessee: Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. Cooper is running against Marsha Blackburn, who Swift wrote on Instagram has a voting record in Congress that “appalls and terrifies me,” explaining thusly: “She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. “She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. “These are not MY Tennessee values.” Asked about these comments on the White House lawn on Monday afternoon, President Trump said, sort of humorously: “Let’s say that I like Taylor’s music about 25 percent less now.” He added more specifically: “Marsha Blackburn is doing a very good job in Tennessee. She’s leading now substantially which she should. “She’s a tremendous woman. I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about her.” Swift actually outlined her take in a very detailed, calm and fair manner. But she's been pilloried by republicans nevertheless, of course. They apparently think Kanye West is a well-educated political guru who should be listened to and respected when it comes to his opinion… … but Swift is a vapid moron whose viewpoint she be scoffed at, naturally. “So @taylorswift13 has every right to be political but it won’t impact election unless we allow 13 yr old girls to vote,” Mike Huckabee tweeted for instance. “Still with #MarshaBlackburn.” Okay, but — who wants to do the math for the former Governor and explain to him how old Taylor Swift fans who started following her after the release of her first album in 2006 are now? Christina and Tarek El Moussa are over as a couple. But as reality television personalities, they’re just getting started. This summer, we told you that Christina El Moussa is getting her own show in addition to the new season of Flip or Flop . Now, she’s been spotted filming the new series, and we know a lot more about it. The Daily Mail reports that On Wednesday, Christina El Moussa was spotted in Anaheim, California. She was apparently all smiles. The 35-year-old Flip or Flop star and mother of 2 was filming her new show. Christina on the Coast will begin with 8 episodes. This new series follows her as she expands her design business in Southern California. Her goal is to totally transform more outdated properties into “high-end showplaces.” Nice! Fans who are concerned that Christina’s new show will be all business needn’t worry. Earlier this summer, Christina told The Hollywood Reporter that her family is going to play a role. “Each episode is going to show a glimpse into a real life,” Christina assured fans. That will include fans seeing her “selling my home in Yorba Linda, house-hunting and moving into my new place.” “It is going to show me trying to balance it all with kids and work,” Christina says. And, it is expected, fans will also see her real-life romance with boyfriend Ant Anstead . Christina on the Coast will premiere in early 2019. In a statement about the series, Christina set the stage by providing a little context. “The past few years have brought a lot of change into my life,” Christina says. “And,” she continues. “I am so excited to see what the next stage has in store for me both professionally and personally.” “There is so much to look forward to,” Christina concludes. “And this is only the beginning.” Christina and fans aren’t the only ones who are hyped for this new series. HGTV and Food President Allison Page has also spoken about why this show makes so much sense. “Christina’s design style is very popular,” Page says. “So it’s a natural progression for us to expand her visibility with a new series.” “Her fans also are deeply vested in her personal life,” Page understates. “And eager to see what happens next.” Fans are, in fact, deeply invested in the El Moussa family. “So,” Page concludes. “We’re bringing them the opportunity to share in these real-life moments in a way that no one else can.” Tarek El Moussa may be getting his own series, too. Of course, Tarek and Christina are both sticking with Flip or Flop . Despite the drama (Tarek had a gun and Christina feared that he would take his own life) that led to their breakup and ultimately their divorce, they’re working together. For the fans, for the show, and of course, for the money. (There’s nothing wrong with that, folks) Romantically, however, they have both moved on. Of course, their two children remain the centers of their world. Fans don’t need their shows to know that — both Christina and Tarek make that abundantly clear on social media. “Our kinda Sunday Funday,” Christina wrote beside a recent glimpse at a family bike ride. “Loving beach life.” She added: “P.S.
