Fresh off that embarrassing “Watch What Happens Live” interview, Kandi’s speaking out on her 90s girl group and the obvious tension between them that’s showing on their “Still Kicking It” Bravo TV show. According to Kandi, the reunion wasn’t planned but instead was used to get ahead of an unauthorized Xscape biopic. She tells PEOPLE; “What happened was a network was going to do an unauthorized movie about us, and of course I’m not going to let somebody just take my legacy. So I called my group members and we were all able to have a conversation to start trying to get our story told the right way.” Kandi also added that reunion rumors began after bandmate Tamika Scott publicly apologized for a decade-long feud that included her claiming in a radio interview that Burruss slept with their label head Jermaine Dupri and his father, music industry executive Michael Mauldin. Tomorrow’s the big day, friends! Sometime on Saturday, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer will promise to leave each other for always, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death ( or another Tinder scandal ) do them part. Yep, Ryan and Mackenzie are having their second wedding ceremony tomorrow — and from what we know so far, this one will be quite a bit different than their first. Just in case you forgot — LOL, just kidding, the Teen Mom OG footage of their wedding will stay with you until the day you die — the first wedding took place in a parking lot by the aquarium in Chattanooga. The only guests were Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry, and also Ryan’s dog. Jen cried throughout most of it. Ryan admitted that his son, Bentley, didn’t know about the wedding, and it’s probably safe to say that Mackenzie’s son didn’t know about it either. As if all of that wasn’t depressing enough, we also saw Ryan drive himself and Mackenzie to their parking lot location while super, super high, and he seemed to be nodding off during the ceremony, too. They wanted to get married quick to help in their custody case for Bentley, which … OK, sure, that makes sense. But as we saw in previous Teen Mom episodes, they’d been planning a much more traditional church wedding for this November. And now that it is November, we know they’re actually going through with this thing, too! Mackenzie confirmed the news earlier this week, explaining that this wedding will take place “in this little cathedral-type church and it’s just absolutely beautiful.” “We went for a rustic-chic theme so there are elements that are super formal and elements that are just very laid-back,” she said. “But it’s gorgeous.” “There’s a reception afterwards that’s in this old warehouse-type space that’s been redone. The ceremony is me: super urban, super chic. The reception is Ryan, where it’s rustic.” We don’t know that we’d describe Mackenzie as “super urban” OR “super chic,” but if that’s how she sees herself, then bless her. It’s also weird that she keeps referring to Ryan’s aesthetic as “rustic” — is it because literally the only things we’ve ever seen him enjoy have been four wheelers and killing cats ? Surprisingly, Mackenzie also revealed that Maci Bookout, Ryan’s ex and the mother of his son, was invited to the wedding. “She invited us to her wedding,” she said. “Everything is just kind of at a resting place right now. It’s about our boys. This is a day about us, yes. But it’s also about us becoming a family.” What she said is true, but it’s a little shocking to hear, considering that just a few months ago, she basically blamed Maci for Ryan’s drug use. On the Teen Mom OG reunion special for the last season, Mackenzie read a letter to Maci in which she accused her of “exploiting Ryan’s addiction on the show.” She claimed that the incident on the way to the wedding, the one where Ryan was nodding off behind the wheel, was the very first time she ever noticed that he might be on drugs, and if Maci knew before then and didn’t tell her, well, then if anything happened to him it would be her fault. After that, Maci hit Mackenzie with “You’re so full of sh-t that your eyes are brown,” Mackenzie stormed off the stage … it wasn’t great. But it seems like things have improved since then — because Maci is actually going to the wedding! A source close to Mackenzie spoke to Radar Online, explaining that “Mackenzie received Maci’s response card. Yes, she will be there. They are getting along.” She’ll bring along her husband, Taylor McKinney, and of course Bentley will be there, but no one else from the Teen Mom crew will be there. Her story is one we’ve heard before, she’s trying to start over. But there’s more… Mo and her hubby link up with Papoose and Remy Ma for a double date, of course! They chat over lunch about balancing parent life with work life, and according to Lil’ Mo and her husband–lots of thots looking for attention. Apparently, some woman accused Karl of cheating on Mo with her. This was years ago, though. Um…you know where this is going, right? Translation: This storyline fin to be dramaful (yes, dramaful) af because that woman or other women are probably about to rise up like zombies in the “Thriller” video with new or more cheating accusations. Anais links with Marcus to talk about her ill-fated discussion with Ashley (Marcus’ girl). Anais kept calling Ashley a b–ch, etc. Problem is, Ashley is also Marcus business partner so Anais better figure out how to get professional. Marcus sticks up for his girl by telling Anais to stop calling his girl names. Later on, Marcus has Anais and Ashley sit down in an attempt to mediate peace. via GIPHY It surprisingly does not go left. Ashley and Anais manage to get on the same page and the conclusion is that Anais’ line stepping behavior is just business and that Ashley is taking some things, like Anais’ sending Marcus pictures of herself (for business approval, of course), too personal. Mariahlynn’s boyfriend, James R, is also an artist. He’s shooting a video soon and taps Sophia Body, a former video vixen, to be his leading lady. His meeting with her is just as flirty and inappropriate as you’d think. Sophia says she wants to move away from being the sexy vixen, but you know she does the video anyway, right? James is coming on so strong that Sophia asks if Mariah is his girl. James does what any upstanding creep would do–he lies! via GIPHY Moving on, it turns out that Dreamdoll isn’t feeling Bianca either. Basically, Dreamdoll and and Bri are friends. They link up to “play pool” and really talk why they don’t rock with Bri like that. Apparently, Bianca was at a Dreamdoll event (off camera) and turned all the way up trying to fight someone there, which ruined the event, so now Dreamdoll’s issue is that Bianca owes her an apology that she’s never going to get. Then Bri mentions that time not long ago when Bianca threw a shoe at her. Dreamdoll gets the bright idea to chat with Bianca and get the apology she deserves, and to figure out why Bianca doesn’t like Bri. via GIPHY This conversation obviously goes where you’d think. Dreamdoll tells Bianca to stay away from her “sis” or she’s going to pop off on her too. Bianca tells Dreamdoll to do what she gotta do because she’s going to pop off on Bri again at some point. But about Dreamdoll popping off, let’s take a moment to never forget: Yup, she kicked the weakest girl in the house in the back even after the girl said she didn’t want to fight. via GIPHY The episode concludes with James’ video shoot, featuring Sophia. Basically, James and Mariah haven’t spoken since Mariah shut James down that time he confronted Self about his intentions with Mariah. In this scene, Mariah walks in to see what’s going on, only to find out that James was trying to kick it to Sophia and that he said he and Mariah weren’t together. For some reason, this triggers Mariah enough to sucker slap Sophia (obviously her rage is misguided) and after the security breaks it up, Mariah changes the lyrics to “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” to add “b–ch got punched right in her eye.” You know the scene, you all saw it in the Love and Hip-Hop New York super trailer. James then tries to deflect from his jacked up behavior by claiming to be turned off by Mariahlynn’s bad behavior. He says he can’t have a woman acting like this. He’s basically Cisco 2.0. Gag…but we’ll be back at it next week during what will hopefully be a more exciting episode.
