Via NY Daily News A mother in Lake Whetherford, Texas told police that her toddler son and daughter were playing in a “back room” when they got away from her care. Moments after, she found them dead in her car. The two children died after they were left locked in a car as temperatures climbed to 96 degrees according to the report. The mother reportedly searched the house before she discovered the two children, who seemingly locked themselves inside a car parked on the property. She busted the front window and broke into the vehicle, but the pair were already unresponsive, “This case is in the early stages of investigation,” Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said. “Any comment regarding this case at this time, would be an assumption, until all of the facts are gathered.” This case is still being investigated. Texas Cop Assaults Hispanic 8th Grade Girl A Texas officer was caught on tape striking a 14-year-old girl in the face multiple times before putting her in cuffs outside a San Antonio Quinceanera party. The girl on the video was taken into juvenile detention on a criminal charge of assaulting a public servant and was released back to her parents on Monday. According to My San Antonio , the girl’s lawyer explained that the girl is an honor-roll student at her middle school with no history of violence on her record, and it’s plain as day that she did NOT assault the officer. House said one officer can be seen in the video “clear as day” striking the girl. The cop in question arrested the girl for assaulting an officer, but the video does not appear to depict the young girl raising her hands to him at all before catching two or three fists from the grown man to her face. SMH!!! Texas is really becoming a hotbed for this shady cop activity . Sadly, incidents like this one aren’t even shocking anymore. A 22-year-old native of Great Britain has been identified as the suicide bomber who killed 22 people and injured 59 others at Manchester Arena on Monday night. His name is Salman Abedi. Mourners gather in Britain to pay their respects to those who died in the bombing. According to The New York Times and other outlets, Salman Abedi resided in a house just three-and-a-half miles from the venue, which was holding an Ariana Grande concert when the terrorist act was carried out. Police have confirmed that Abedi detonated his explosive just as the concert ended, as thousands of young fans were exiting the arena and heading for the adjacent train station As of this writing, 22 people are reported dead as a result of the blast, while 59 are seriously injured. One victim was an 18-year old girl and one was an eight-year old . Because Grande is especially popular among this young demographic, a significant number of those killed or wounded were teenagers or children. At a late afternoon news conference, Chief Constable Ian Hopkins of the Greater Manchester Police named Abedi as the bomber and added that he died in the blast.
