Missouri Klan Leader Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances Missouri Klan leader Frank Ancona was confirmed dead Saturday after police identified a body found near a bank of the Big River near Belgrade. Ancona was the self-proclaimed “Imperial Wizard” of a KKK chapter near St. Louis who once threatened Klan members would use “lethal force” against protestors following the police shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson. Ancona was also named in a 2013 lawsuit filed by the ACLU against the city of Desloge for allowing his KKK group to distribute neighborhood watch leaflets, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Ancona’s wife Malissa told police he was last seen at his home Wednesday morning after being called to work to deliver a part out of state. He packed a bag and brought his guns with him. That was the last relatives heard from him, according to Daily Journal reports . Oddly, police say Ancona’s employer denied calling him out of state. His job reached out to authorities to report him missing Friday after he failed to show up at work. Police questioned Ancona’s wife about a Facebook posting she made on the day of his disappearance seeking a roommate for him. She told cops Ancona was filing for divorce when he returned and she thought he’d need help paying rent. A safe inside the Ancona’s house had been broken in with a crowbar when police arrived at the home with a search warrant, but Leadwood Police Chief William Dickey said a burglary was not suspected. NY Rep. Nadler Files “Resolution Of Inquiry” To Address President Cheeto Shadiness

House Judiciary Committee Member Calls For Inquiry Into Trump Ethics Some real “House of Cards” isht is going down in America right now, but it looks like we may already be making our way towards the impeachment of Trump . Thursday, NY Congressman Rep. Jerrold Nadler filed what is known as a “resolution of inquiry,” on Trump that will essentially force the House Judiciary Committee to take a stance on the President and his potentially shady ties. Nadler said he elected to make the move because the Republican party has failed to look into Trump’s ethical issues: “Donald Trump has refused to step away from his business interests in any meaningful way, his foreign entanglements are likely unconstitutional, he has repeatedly refused to disclose his financial assets, and he is clouded by the specter of Russian intervention in the election and his Administration,” Nadler said in a statement. “Republicans have shown zero willingness to follow through on their duty to conduct oversight, and they must be held accountable if they are truly willing to abdicate this constitutional obligation and must be made to answer to the American people for that failure.” Nadler specifically singled out Judiciary Committee chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) for downplaying Trump’s potentially shady business ties which may hold conflicts of interest with his position. We’ve seen a lot of reports circulating claiming that his filing is the start of an impeachment but that’s not exactly what it is — although the impeachment process could end up being the result of the filing depending on what is revealed in the inquiry. Now that Nadler has filed, the Judiciary Committee has to respond to the resolution of inquiry within 14 Congressional workdays. The committee can report the resolution favorably, reject it or revise it and if it chooses not to act within that time period, Nadler could request the resolution be discharged in order for the House as a whole to vote. Nadler is requesting information related to investigations of Trump, his associates, foreign business interests and conflict of interest laws (remember when his publicist spent so much time during his first press conference talking about emoluments???). If the resolution passes, the Justice Department has to provide the House with any information they may have discovered during criminal or counterintelligence investigations. Since so many people are talking impeachment… According to Countable: Impeachment involves the levying of charges against a government official who has committed “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” The indictment comes from the House, and if a majority of lawmakers support impeachment the case advances to the Senate. The Senate then begins a trial with witnesses and cross-examinations, and a two-thirds majority is required to convict an official. In the event of a conviction, the official is immediately removed from office and could be barred from holding office in the future or face criminal prosecution. It was all fun and games when Trump was calling Hillary a crook, now it’s about time we see who the real crook is. Then he’s gonna be the one hearing the calls to, “Lock Him Up! Lock Him Up!” WENN

ESSENCE’s ‘Black Women In Hollywood’ Photos Last night, who’s who in Black Hollywood came out to celebrate Erykah Badu at ESSENCES’s Black Women In Music in Los Angeles on the 20th anniversaryy of her  Baduizm  album. Lincoln Motor Co. was the exclusive automotive sponsor for the lavish event and featured the all-new Continental and MKZ on the red carpet. The stars of BET’s New Edition Story came out to celebrate. Remy Ma was also spotted looking niicccceeeeee…   Mya looked stunning! Here’s The Number One Reason White Americans Are So Much Richer Than Black Folks

The Reason For Racial Wealth Gap Pinpointed Apparently, doing all the right things” isn’t quite enough for Black folks to close the wealth gap between ourselves and whites …and it all boils down to one big factor. No it’s not hard work, higher education, or going into more lucrative fields. The bottom line is…inheritance. Many white people are simply born with a claim to substantial amounts of family money. According to Bloomberg , recent findings from the Federal Reserve’s Survey of Consumer Finances suggest that the gap in wealth between white households and African American homes lands at $13 in net wealth in median white households for every $1 in net wealth of the median black household. However, the traditional methods of wealth accumulation do virtually nothing for Blacks to begin to close said gap. A study from researchers Brandeis University and public policy group Demos finds that neither attending college, raising children in a two-parent household, working full time, nor spending less does anything to the racial wealth gap. For instance, college attendance is one of the number one ways Black people seek to widen their earning potential. While it definitely helps us to earn more and thus accumulate more wealth, the median white adult attending college already has 7.2 times the wealth of the median black adult. The same goes for two-parent homes, full time employment, curbing spending, etc. — the average white person making the same exact moves already has more money. Another study from Duke University also shoots down the myth of African Americans being too-heavy spenders and over-consumers. Kim Kardashian Shares ADORABLE New Photos of Saint West!

Kim Kardashian can be vain, selfish, and just plain dumb, and Kanye West … well, he can be Kanye West. But despite all that, when these two come together, they make some really beautiful kids. They’ve got the fabulous North West, who turns four in June, if you can even believe it, and then back in December, little Saint had his first birthday . For as much as Kim’s always shared so much of her life with the public, she and Kanye have been relatively private when it comes to their children. We never see many pictures of them on social media, and that’s been especially true after Kim’s robbery four months ago. She’s been lying low herself, so we’ve seen even less of the Kimye kids than usual. … Until now! As you surely remember, the Kardashians recently went on a great big family vacation to Costa Rica. Kim brought North and Saint along with her while Kane stayed at home , and while it sounded lovely and all, we didn’t really get the social media documentation of the trip that we’d normally expect. And we’re not going to lie, it hurt. But, as it turns out, Kim was just biding her time. She hopped on her app this week to share a few mighty cute photos of Saint … and we’d say they were well worth the wait. In the photos, Kim is playing with Saint in a swimming pool outside the home they rented for their stay. The kid looks like he’s having a ball with his mother, and it’s so sweet to see. In one of the pictures, Kim lifts him up in the air as he gives a big smile, and in another, she shows him a camera. Because hey — there’s no denying this little boy loves the camera. Saint seems so comfortable with being photographed and filmed — not at all like his big sister, North. No, we could never see Saint crying over Snapchat filters or making a habit out of yelling “No pictures!” (Not that there’s anything wrong with that — Snapchat is weird, pictures can be annoying, and North West is pretty much a national treasure. Madonna Shares Sweet Photo: Look at My Adopted Kids!

Madonna may have received some heat a few weeks ago when she said she had thought about blowing up the White House . But we expect the singer will receive nothing but praise and well wishes for the following piece of major news: She has adopted twin four-year olds from Malawi. Although the legendary artist denied rumors that an adoption was pending last month, multiple outlets reported earlier today that the High Court from Malawi granted the 58-year-old the ability to adopt these girls from the country on Tuesday. Madonna then appeared in court with her attorney alongside the twins’ father and uncle, who both witnessed the adoption. And then she went ahead and confirmed the life-altering decision herself on Instagram this afternoon. “I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family,” Madonna captioned an photograph of herself walking hand-in-hand with the toddler, both of whom were wearing matching blue-and-white polka dot patterned dresses. Continued The Material Girl: “I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible, and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. “Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and Love!” Malawi’s judiciary spokesperson told People Magazine that the girls’ mother died in August 2012, a week after giving birth to the twins. “After their mother died, the children were looked after by their grandmother, who could not fully provide for them, so they were taken into an orphanage,” this spokesperson explained. Of course, the adoption process in Malawi is not anything new to Madonna. She is the birth mother of Lourdes Leon, 20, and Rocco Ritchie, 16; and she adopted 11-year-old son David Banda and daughter Mercy James from the country in 2008 and 2009. Some folks there may also be unaware that Madonna actually founded the Raising Malawi organization more than a decade ago. Its mission is to fight against poverty among the nation’s orphaned children by constructing schools, strengthening hospitals and providing resources for orphans and impoverished children. Pretty awesome, huh? This charity work played a big role in the singer’s latest adoption, according to the aforementioned judiciary spokesperson. “Madonna has been very close to Malawi,” she continued telling People. “She has been involved in so many projects and is currently helping to expand the children’s ward at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital. “So Madonna has been coming to Malawi frequently. So it is not unusual to people in Malawi at all. They know Madonna very well in terms of the high-profile work she has done for the community.” We send Madonna and her two new kids nothing but our very best wishes.
