Mo’s remained steadfast in her issues with Oprah and she’s claimed for YEARS that Oprah crossed the line by inviting her family on her talk show against her wishes. Now she’s doubling down on those feelings with Comedy Hype. According to Mo, her brother Gerald who admitted to molesting Mo’Nique reached out to Oprah to speak on child predators, as he was one himself. The idea was then pitched that Mo’Nique would come on the show as well. According to Mo, she told O that her brother was a “scammer” and wanted nothing to do with the interview. She also expressed that she preferred that the interview not happen and Oprah allegedly ASSURED her that the sitdown would be canceled. Despite that, Mo says her brother was brought on alongside her other brother, her father, AND her mother. “She never said my mother was coming on that show,” said Mo. “Because if Oprah Winfrey would have said she was having my mother on that show, I would have said shut it down.[…] Ultimately Mo said she wants a PUBLIC apology from Oprah. Until that woman says let me apologize to you publically it’ll be till the day I leave this earth. Because what you did was malicious and it was intentional and it was ugly. Oprah Winfrey, you know what you need to do and stop hiding behind what you call negative comments because what people are beginning to do is see you for who you are.” She also said that she confronted Oprah at a previous Oscars party at Alfre Woodard’s house and asked her in front of EVERYONE including Angela Bassett and Regina King why Oprah had her mother on her show. “How could you have my mother on my show? That’s not what we discussed,” Mo said to Oprah while recounting the nasty things fans said after the interview. “She took the cowardly way out, she said ‘If you think I did something wrong then I want to apologize.’ You DID do something wrong, you maliciously [did] and had full intentions of having my parents on your show and not saying anything to me.” Mo is NOT holding back in this interview; watch below. Adding insult to injury, Kelly’s crisis manager, Darrell Johnson, pretty much spotted the jig to come and got out of dodge promptly after an interview with CBS News’ Gayle King . CBS News reports : “I step down as crisis manager for personal reasons. Mr. Kelly is in good hands with Mr. Greenberg,” Johnson said, referring to Steve Greenberg, the criminal defense attorney who heads Kelly’s legal team in Chicago. The news come hours after Johnson appeared on “CBS This Morning” and told co-host Gayle King that he would never leave his own daughter alone with an accused pedophile. Pressed on whether he wouldn’t leave his daughter alone with Kelly specifically, Johnson repeated: “I would not leave my daughter with anyone that’s accused of being a pedophile. I would not.” When King pointed out the seeming contradiction of defending Kelly, an accused pedophile, and simultaneously saying he wouldn’t trust his own daughter alone with anyone accused of that crime, Johnson repeated, “I wouldn’t leave my daughter with anyone — I’m going to say it again — that’s accused of being a pedophile.” The fact remains that Johnson was on the payroll defending Kelly so either the money ran out or he spotted an upcoming jig. — Photo: Getty
Source: Derrick Salters/WENN.com / WENN Elizabeth Warren Is Putting Her Plan For Student Loan Debt Into Action As the race heats up between more than a dozen Democratic Presidential candidates, there are certain issues that continue to be brought up time and time again both on the campaign trail and during debates. One of those issues is student loan debt, with the idea of some sort of debt forgiveness being at the top of a lot of a lot of voters’ list. Senator Elizabeth Warren has been vocal about her plan for student loan forgiveness over the past couple of months, but now, she’s really putting that plan into action. The Massachusetts politician introduced a bill on Tuesday that would forgive student loans for tens of millions of Americans, which would mean three-quarters of borrowers would have their balances reset to zero. The Senator first released her plan to do this very thing back in April, but the legislation–which has been dubbed the Student Loan Debt Relief Act–offers new details on how she would go about dismantling the country’s outstanding student debt, which is soon expected to exceed $2 trillion. Under Warren’s newly introduced proposal, borrowers with household incomes under $100,000 would get $50,000 of their student debt completely forgiven. People who earn between $100,000 and $250,000 would be eligible for forgiveness on a sliding scale. And those who earn more than $250,000 would not get any debt relief. For those wondering about the logistics of this whole thing: the degree of debt forgiveness a person receives would be determined by their income in the most recent tax year and the loan cancellations would take about a year from the time the bill is enacted to complete. Though most people crippled by their student loan debt are probably huge fans of this idea, not everyone is on board with completely cancelling out such a tab. Consumer advocacy groups like the National Consumer Law Center came out in support of the plan, saying, “we support bills like the Student Loan Debt Relief Act because it recognizes the enormity of the crisis facing today’s borrowers.” Others oppose the plan, like President and CEO of the Consumer Bankers Association Richard Hunt , who says, “this proposal does nothing to decrease the cost of college and does not help future students.” But all in all, the proposal is popular among voters. In a Politico/Morning Consult poll , 56% of registered voters said they support the Massachusetts senator’s proposal to cancel outstanding education loans by raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans. Only 27% of voters said they opposed the plan. Matt Roloff clearly cannot hold back any longer. He tried for awhile, you could really tell he did. Even after being trashed as a bully and as a cheater by his ex-wife, the Little People, Big World star said almost nothing. He remained mostly quiet in the wake of Amy Roloff writing some rather cruel things about him in his memoir, but Matt has now made it evident that he’s had enough. No, he hasn’t lashed out at Amy personally or anything like that. But he has displayed an angry side when faced with what he believes to be a false and duplicitious narrative. And it all circles back to this past season of the aforementioned TLC series. For many weeks on Little People, Big World, Matt and Amy clashed over the future of the farm . It certainly appeared as if Matt was pressuring his ex to sell her stake in the property so that he could do the same… they could walk away from the business… and each move on with their lives. On the finale, Amy finally agreed to such a deal. But she did so with reluctance. “This process has not been easy for me,” the 54-year-old reality star explained on the show, before adding: “I will be glad when it’s completely done and we part ways.” As a result of how this debate was depicted on television, most viewers assumed Matt basically forced Amy’s hand and was anxious to take over the entire farm by himself. However, he’s made it clear now that this was anything but the case. “U pushed ur x wife out of the farm! Not sure if I cane ver respect that in u,” wrote an Instagram user to Matt late last week, prompting him to fire back in direct fashion: “That’s the biggest crock of BS I’ve ever heard… I would love Amy to buy her side of the farm and let me move to [Arizona] full time.” Matt then took a rather pointed shot at the mother of his four kids, adding: “She’s scared to death of the world and attention it would take.” Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, purchased a home in Arizona last year. But it was assumed at the time that this would simply be a vacation house; it now sounds, though, as if Matt’s ideal scenario would entail him moving away from Oregon for good. This is the first time he’s ever made such an admission. Back in June, meanwhile, Matt did his best to clarify what has been going on with the family farm . “Sometimes people get so far astray of the truth we have to write direct messages to correct all the assumptions,” he wrote online, adding in far more detail: “I don’t think people understand the buyout option… let me explain.. despite what you see on TV … I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the far… “Not the original farmstead … not the side with the pumpkin patch or her house.. for now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on… “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave. “At that time we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together. This may happen in the future but it’s not happening yet!” So, in the end, the whole farm-selling thing doesn’t sound like a big deal at all. It has no impact on the family business or anything at the moment. Except… it’s clear there’s potential now for it to be a huge deal. In case you somehow haven’t heard, the Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun feud has been going strong for several weeks now. It all started when Braun purchased Big Machine Label Group, a deal that also gave him the master recordings to Taylor’s first seven albums. The beef has left celebs and industry insiders deeply divided, with numerous A-listers and prominent figures in the music biz loudly declaring their support for either side. Yes, Scooter may not be as famous as Taylor, but he’s just as rich, and arguably even more well-connected. Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Cara Delevingne and countless others have already been pulled into the fray. And now, a front-running Democratic presidential candidate has essentially been forced to pick a side. The very wealthy often host fundraisers for candidates they support — not only is it the ultimate status symbol (“Come meet the future president at my house!”), it also helps to curry favor with powerful politicians who might soon become even more powerful. Scooter hosted one for Senator Kamala Harris last week, and many of Taylor’s most ardent fans took to social media to express their displeasure with the presidential candidate. And it’s resulted in the worst Kamala Harris/music-related scandal since the California senator claimed she listened to Biggie and Tupac in college, even though the rappers would’ve been in middle school when she graduated.’ “I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by @scooterbraun, a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no longer hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate,” one Swiftie tweeted. “If @KamalaHarris thinks this will get her votes she is delusional and @scooterbraun is a thief who uses these women to advance his bank account…” another remarked. A user named @sandiegoleah even started a hashtag for the movement, tweeting: “@KamalaHarris please don’t do a fundraiser with @scooterbraun you will lose a lot of votes to @ewarren I want to support you but cannot if you associate with a bully and misogynist #IStandWithTaylor”. Early reports from Page Six indicated that Taylor herself commented on the situation, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The question now, of course, is — how will this affect Harris’ chances of securing the Democratic nomination. And the answer is, almost certainly not at all. We know there are those who believe Taylor could have prevented a Trump presidency simply by endorsing Hillary, but that’s obviously not true. If anything, the 2016 Election taught us the same lesson as the Taylor vs. Scooter feud — extremely rich white dudes can pretty much do whatever they want.

For well over a year, reports of a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have dominated tabloid headlines. The Dueling Duchesses, as they were dubbed by the British media simply couldn’t seem to get along, or even pretend to get along enough to fool the public. This was not, royal “insiders” insisted, a case of the press creating a false catfight narrative out of whole cloth, simply because that’s always what the press does with powerful women. No, this was a case of two of the most influential women in the world clashing so brutally that they were unable to hide their bad blood from London royal-watchers. And for a while there, it seemed the press was really on to something here. Meghan and Kate did not seem to like each other, as evidenced by their coolness toward one another in public, as well as Meghan and Harry’s decision to move out of Kensington Palace , the home they once shared with Will and Kate. But as new information about the spat became public knowledge, a very different narrative began to take shape. Insiders claimed that it was William and Harry who were feuding , not Meg and Kate. And recent photos and footage of Kate and Meghan enjoying each other’s company at Wimbledon seem to serve as evidence that the duchesses do not dislike each other at all. So did they really keep their distance and go to such great pains to disentangle their lives simply because their husbands couldn’t get along? Well, not quite … According to a new report from The Sun , the rumors are true, and Meghan has had a hard time gaining acceptance with several members of the royal family, including pseudo-royals like Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton. Pippa has no royal title, and officially, she has little to no clout within the Windsor clan. Unofficially, however, Pippa is surprisingly influential as a woman who’s very well-liked in a number of important social circles. And apparently, she and Meghan had to work hard to get to a point where they could peacefully co-exist: “On paper, Pippa and Meghan seem like a match made in heaven, as they are both good cooks, enjoy exercise and are wealthy mums with small baby sons,” an insider tells the tabloid. “Reality check is she is never going to be more than an American duchess married to Prince Harry who was hurtful to Pippa’s sister and who wants to rewrite the rules for the monarchy in the 21st century,” the insider adds. Yes, it seems Meg is still viewed as somewhat of a threat, due to her Americanness and her progressive views. And as much as they may not like each other, it seems Pippa is best at keeping the Duchess of Sussex in check: “Pippa is way too savvy to fall for all of that. Pippa will be more than capable of dealing with Meghan,” the source continues. “She is a seasoned old Marlburian brought up with good manners, clever and tough enough not to let light in on her sisterly frustrations with the Duchess of Sussex, particularly over the treatment Meghan meted out to Kate. “Meghan realises just what a close-knit family these girls come from, the support from parents Michael and Carol is unwavering.” Yes, it seems Pippa is still not happy with the way Meghan behaved toward Kate at some point (even though Kate seems to be over it). As a result, Pip seems to function in a sort of attack dog capacity, willing — if need to be — to do and say the things Kate can’t. “Pippa has a long memory say Edinburgh Uni chums. She has a rather hands-off relationship with Meghan and her overriding loyalty is to her sister,” the informant adds. “At the end of the day, there is a cordial friendship but an enduring closeness between Pippa and Meghan is never going to happen,” says the source. “Pippa will not be seen encouraging Meghan to pop by her Chelsea house, though visits have been made with Harry in tow.” We’re just gonna go ahead and assume that not encouraging someone to pop by your house in Chelsea is, like, the ultimate diss among UK socialites. WSBTV reports that DeKalb County police are searching for an unidentified man who has robbed several Waffle Houses, two drugstores and a bank while wearing wigs. They add that he most recently passed a note to a Tucker Waffle House waitress demanding cash. The frightened waitress ran away and the robber left empty handed. As of Saturday, July 20, the fourth installment in the Avengers franchise had raked in $2.7892 billion at the global box office, which is just about $500,000 shy of Avatar ‘s $2.7897 billion record. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced the big news during San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, confirming that Endgame would close the $500K gap by Sunday. “Thanks to you, Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of all-time,” he announced during Marvel’s highly-anticipated Hall H panel. Since the film’s initial release back in April, Endgame has broken multiple records, including the fastest film to hit $100 million at the box office, the highest-grossing opening day in history, and the first film to earn $1 billion in an opening weekend. But in order to assure their status as the number one film of all time, the Avengers movie received a boost when it was re-released in theaters with a little extra footage back in June–which is what eventually set Endgame over the top.
