President Obama’s time in office is soon to come to an end, and though the most powerful post in the country surely has its allure, we imagine the man will be somewhat relieved to bid the White House farewell. For one thing, he’ll no longer have to carry the hopes of the Western world on his shoulders and keep Joe Biden from choking on a Lego. But while his professional life is about to become much simpler, Barry is currently in the throes of one of the most grey-hair inducing experiences imaginable: raising teenagers in the public eye. Over the summer, reports of Malia Obama smoking pot and generally – gasp! – acting like an 18-year-old stirred up a baffling amount of controversy online. There were even reports that Malia was headed to rehab . Obviously, they turned out to be bogus, but that didn’t stop certain media outlets from eagerly pouncing on stories of Malia’s “hard-partying” ways. But even with the press’ ravenous hunger for political scandal (even Donald Trump can’t satisfy that appetite), Malia is a high school grad and legal adult, so the allegations about her love of weed and booze never really developed into that big of a deal. That might not prove to be the case with Malia’s younger sister, Sasha. Sasha is only 15, but sources say she’s got quite the active social life. And unfortunately, she lives in an age in which all of her peers are carrying high-res cameras in their pockets at all times. So perhaps it was only a matter of time before photos of Sasha partying were leaked to the press. Radar Online claims to have seen those pics (though the site declined to publish them), and they say it appears that the high school sophomore is gettin’ her drink on. Insiders report that the pics originally appeared on social media with captions reading: “Taking shots with Sasha Obama” and “When Sasha Obama is at your party.” They’ve since been deleted for reasons that remain unclear. Maybe Sasha pulled the “take those pics off of Instagram or I’ll have my dad drone strike your house” card. Classic move. Whatever the case, it appears that this thing has been promptly swept under the rug. But we wouldn’t be surprised if Sasha is grounded for so long that she’s hoping for a Trump victory to bring about the Apocalypse.

Poor Rob Kardashian … the guy really does not seem to be doing that great lately. His behavior is getting increasingly bizarre. Who could forget how he tweeted out Kylie Jenner’s phone number after a simple misunderstanding over some baby showers? And his admission that, as a child, he had a crush on Kim , his own sister, which is something we’ll have nightmares about for the rest of our lives, honestly. And of course there are his many, many (many, many, MANY) issues with Blac Chyna. Despite liking her enough to get her pregnant and propose to her within approximately five seconds of dating, he seems to have a problem with talking to other women behind her back. Though some of that talking might have been when he and Chyna weren’t together, because there have been several reports saying that they’d broken up, at least for a little while. And then, and this one is by far the saddest development of all, Rob is said to be returning to his old ways. According to new reports, Rob has been gaining back the weight he lost when he got with Chyna, and he’s been retreating back into his house again. Yep, he’s becoming a regular old hermit once more. It turns out that, even though Rob’s new show, Rob & Chyna, has gotten very popular, the show may only get one season. TMZ reports that a second season of the show has still yet to be ordered, which is pretty much unheard of for Kardashian reality shows. Ratings obviously aren’t the issue, but the fact that Rob and Chyna won’t film together is. Executives are reportedly concerned that they’d have a hard time filming Rob & Chyna when Rob is holed up alone in his house. The good news is that Chyna is such a firecracker that she could possibly get her own show on E!, and think about it: you know that would be amazing. But the bad news is that if Rob doesn’t pull it together, there’d likely be no televised documentation of the birth of their child or their wedding. It would also mean that a wedding isn’t all that likely anymore, but let’s save that sadness for another day. Here’s hoping that Chyna can find a way to get through to Rob again, and that they can salvage their relationship before their baby is born. She had been trying to get him to change his number for a while.” By the time Chyna, who is pregnant and expecting the couple’s first child, shared his contact info with her followers, he had already ditched those digits. “It was all set up for him to have already switched to the new number when she blasted out the old one. They planned it,” the insider added. “Chyna convinced him it was time to clean house and get a new number.” Man! Kris Jenner be working HARD than a muhfugga don’t she? See what we mean. It alls started with talk that Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez have been fired from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Or, to be more specific, that VH1 has chosen not to renew the contracts of its two biggest reality stars. Why would network executives arrive at this seemingly terrible decision? Because Stevie J ad Joseline have grown too expensive. Sources claim the network is looking to save money and thinks the ratings for Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta will mostly remain steady due to the addictive nature of the show… even without its leading cast members. Meanwhile, a new story alleges that Stevie J is already cheating on new girlfriend Faith Evans. Rumors of a romance between the reality star and the singer only recently heated up after Evans shared a photo of her and Stevie on her Instagram page two weeks ago. I contemplated sending it since it’s my family after all but hey if Stevie J is the alleged father to Joseline’s baby girl then she needs to know what he’s doing behind her back! Here is a look at the NSFW photo in question: Of course, whether or not Stevie J is the father of Joseline’s baby girl is up for debate. A rumor surfaced in late July that Joseline is actually pregnant by Young Dro . It’s very difficult to keep track of Stevie’s penis, where it has been and where it might end up going next. He has five kids by four different women, and that’s not counting the baby on the way that may be his, courtesy of Hernandez. We most definitely do not approve if he’s been cheating on Faith Evans. Meme Accuses Tiffany & Co Of Copying Slave Collar If you’ve been poking around on social media today, you’ve probably run across a Facebook post that looks like this: Some believe that Tiffany made luxe slave collars for rich women to place on their main hand-maiden house slaves, then shifted the style to the mainstream once slavery was abolished. Others say it was the slave collar that inspired the style of the new chains. Either way…it sparked discussion and of course led to tons of people renouncing the brand, vowing to sell all their Tiffany jewelry, flooding Tiffany’s twitter account…and making memes like these: So has Tiffany been selling nouveau slave chains with a pricey tag all this time??? Have black women wearing these been tricked into branding themselves as slaves??? As it turns out…that’s not QUITE the case. But it’s up for a bit of debate. Although this pic has probably been floating around your feed masquerading as part of an exhibit featured in the brand new National Museum of African American History and Culture …that’s false. In fact, there’s no such slave collar featured in the museum at all, nor is there any mention of Tiffany & Co. creating the collar NOR of the jeweler modeling their “Return To Tiffany” collection after the collar. Now, according to Snopes.com , The photo ACTUALLY comes from The Lest We Forget Black Holocaust Museum of Philadelphia (LWFSM), and instead of being taken yesterday, it was actually taken last May. The caption in the photo reads: This 18th Century Brass Slave Collar with an engraved name (Patterson), fancy etchings and heart shaped pendant was favored by wealthy, white slave mistresses. However, it was not worn by them; instead it was used on her female slave. The collar was fitted around a negro slave’s neck and attached to a leash as her [indecipherable] … her around like a pet. Years later, famed [indecipherable, Charles] Lewis Tiffany, founder of Tiffany & [Co. Jewelers] used this infamous collar as a prototype to design his best-selling, choker necklace which [indecipherable] has a heart-shaped pendant attached. The necklace remains very popular today. So Tiffany definitely did not make or manufacture luxury slave collars for anyone. The company was founded in 1837, and the collar in the exhibit is from the 1700’s. BUT the collar still may have served as inspiration for the new choker necklaces… According to this exhibit, Tiffany’s founder Charles Lewis Tiffany was indeed directly inspired by the style of the collar and personally modeled the pendants in question after it. HOWEVER this also remains up for heavy debate, since the collar itself is from the 18th century, Charles Lewis Tiffany died in 1902, but the heart-shaped “Return To Tiffany” pendant necklaces weren’t introduced until around 1969. You can be the judge. It’s possible but not necessarily proven. Now what IS 100% true…Tiffany was largely started with $1000 ($15,000 by today’s inflation) that Charles gained through the cotton trade. Naturally, the use of slave labor is what even made the original seed money for the jewelry brand available. But truthfully…what US company wasn’t launched with the help of slave labor?
