From his father being arrested at a KKK rally in the 1920s to housing discrimination lawsuits to his obsession with Ilhan Omar , only a racist would stand by this man. A young, Black Trump supporter was interviewed on CNN yesterday and he is finally starting to wonder if the party is for him. It hit a lot of us in the gut. And I think that the president is putting a lot of us in a very precarious situation. I think the president has a base and he has a far-right-wing base, and there’s a lot of white nationalists, a lot of racists, a lot of anti-Semites in that base.” He is referring to Trump telling Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to “go back” to where they came from. He continued, “And so I feel like a lot of us feel like, ‘Wow, where do we fit in anymore?’ Are we still welcome in this movement? Are people of color still welcome? So, a lot of us are still reeling from that comment. And I would tell you, a lot of my friends that are Black conservatives, a lot of them have jumped off the Trump train. They’ve gone over to Kamala Harris’ side. They’ve gotten involved in her campaign and also Joe Biden’s. Certainly here in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.” That said, he still said he will support Trump because “business is great.” He also admits he is “putting profit over values.” Just yesterday at a rally in North Carolina, Trump had a nearly all-white rally chanting “Send her back,” which was referring to Omar. The signature dish for Elsie’s in Haddon Township, New Jersey is its pickle sandwich, which uses pickles instead of slices of bread. According to the Business Insider , “the sandwiches’ vessel is two scooped-out halves of a kosher dill pickle, which comes in an original or spicy flavor.” The shop’s co-owner, Katherine Cohen, told the Today Show , “There is no bread in the house at all.” She added that the restaurant goes through about 300 pickles per day, and they use kosher dill pickles, although they do offer spicy ones on occasion. On July 8, the pampers powerhouse debuted new packaging for its “Special Delivery” diapers, boasting a beautiful Black father, a first of its kind in the company’s 41-year-old history. It’s also part of a larger campaign that showcased other dads (and moms) as well. One of the fathers modeling for the Daddy-friendly packaging box is Chicago-native Orlando Thompson and his 3-year-old daughter Soraya Lattimore. Thompson told USA Today that he is honored to be part of a push to change the way we look at our fatherhood. “There’s a stereotype that’s out there that dads in general, not just a particular race, are not connected to their kids and not affectionate,” Thompson stressed, adding, “This should have been displaced a long time ago.” So why now for this much-needed representation? “We really believe in celebrating all parents and the great job that parents are doing,” Huggies North America brand director Kristine Rhode recently told USA Today. Amber Portwood has spoken out for the first time since her arrest for domestic battery. But she hasn’t proclaimed her innocence. Nor has she thanked her fans for their support. Instead, the embattled Teen Mom OG star has seemingly hurled an enormous amount of shade in the direction of her alleged victim, Andrew Glennon. As you surely must know by now, Portwood is in major trouble with the law. She’s accused of throwing a shoe at Glennon early on the morning of July 5, prior to actually getting a machete and using it to try and break into the bathroom where Glennon ran off to hide with the couple’s young son, James. It’s wild and disturbing stuff. Amber, for her part, had not said anything about her arrest or the alleged incident that led up to it… … until Wednesday afternoon. “Cheating is a choice not a mistake,” Portwood wrote in a since-deleted post, seemingly implying that Glennon has been cheating on her. We hope Portwood doesn’t think this would be an acceptable excuse to attack Glennon, especially considering he was cradling little James at the time of the reported assault. Still, though…. Andrew being unfaithful to his girlfriend would certainly add a fairly big twist to this ugly scandal. For whatever it’s worth, however, Amber’s brother, Shawn, has shot down any cheating allegations. “No. He did not cheat. Get that out of y’alls minds,” Shawn Tweeted back on July 11. This is the same brother who claims he’s seen evidence that his sister is innocent of all charges . The timing of Amber’s apparent infidelity accusation is interesting to note, though. It was shared on the same day that Andrew not only demanded full custody of James, but also child support. In court documents, he went on to request that Amber not be allowed around James without professional supervision. “Father believes it is in James’ best interests that he be awarded sole legal and primary physical custody,” read these court papers, which Andrew filed on July 9. They continue: “Father believes that it is not currently in James’ best interests for Mother to have unsupervised parenting time.” It would stand to therefore reason that Portwood would try to discredit her second baby daddy a bit by hinting that he has a wandering and dishonest penis. Criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon. Domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. She spent 17 months in jail back in 2013 due to a previous assault against ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley. According to an affidavit from the arrest detailing the alleged incident, the Teen Mom OG star allegedly took a handful of pills and “threatened to kill herself” before pulling the aforementioned weapon on him Glennon. Source: David Livingston / Getty Tonight’s episode of Basketball Wives starts with Tami and her business partner, and shoe designer, Jessica Rich going over prototypes for Tami’s shoe line. And then OG walks in. Tami invited her because she wants to make sure she’s okay after that brunch. That’s the real reason they’re there. Tami said she’s disappointed in how the brunch went. Obviously, OG is happy to have at least one person in her corner. I other news, Jennifer meets up with Kristen to deliver a letter for her to give to Shaunie. We don’t know what’s in the letter, but basically, Jenn says she’s ready to take some accountability for her messed up actions. Now we’re at Byron and CeCe’s engagement party. Everything looks nice. Malaysia and Jackie come through, and CeCe is happy to see them. However, Malaysia is bummed that Kristen and her husband aren’t there because she feels like their feud with CeCe is killing her family. And guess what, OG ends up showing up later. Malaysia decides to take this time, because it’s the most appropriate moment, to confront OG. Basically, Malaysia tells her that Byron said he never told her to tell that secret. In Malaysia’s mind, OG said that Byron told her to tell everyone. In reality, Byron told OG that it’s okay to talk about it because people already know. There is a difference. Malaysia says it’s the same thing. OG says it’s not. They go in circles for a second, but Malaysia surprisingly decides to shut this conversation down so they can talk another time. Now we’re at Shaunie’s house for her son’s 16th birthday party. The house looks kind of like the house from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air , so that’s the party theme. But the meat of this moment is that Kristen pulls Shaunie aside to give her Jenn’s letter. Shaunie decides to read it in front of Evelyn and Jackie. Basically, Jenn wrote some fluff about how it was nice to see her at her other son’s party, but it’s still a non-apology. Despite that, it’s enough for Shaunie to consider inviting Jenn on their upcoming girls trip to San Diego. Evelyn is definitely not feeling that, but we all know Shaunie is going to invite Jenn. Tami finally reveals that she and Reggie are married. She had a cute little party at her house to make the announcement. Everyone seemed happy for her, even Jackie, who was mad at her but also happy at the same time. You know how Jackie does. Let’s fast forward to San Diego. We find the group headed there in two separate cars. Jenn is present with her friend, Dominique, because she needs at least one person on her side. Feby, Shaunie, and Evelyn ride in one car and the rest, minus Tami, are in the other car. When it comes up that Jenn brought Dominique, it turns out that Evelyn and Dominique don’t like each other either (so, Jenn knew what she was doing). Ev’s group arrives first. The second group of women arrives shortly after and Evelyn gets annoyed at the sight of Jenn from jump. They manage to pick rooms without a hitch and tonight’s episode ends on a low-key note, but next week, the turnup cometh. Evelyn and Jenn are going to get into it for the 1,422,343,415,251 time. The Post article opens with “He had hell toupee,” and yes, we’re very angry they beat us to that joke. Police say it was easy to spot the “considerably nervous” man — who arrived on a flight from Bogotá at the end of June — due to the“disproportionate size” of his hairpiece. As part of “Operation Toupee,” the officers found a “perfectly sealed package taped to his head.” We’re not sure you need to give your operation a name when it basically consisted of spotting a guy with a bag-of-cocaine-shaped lump on his head and lifting up his wig to find — drumroll — a bag of cocaine. Although for all we know, this whole thing might have been a long time in the making. Some ambitious customs agent with a hunch might have been poking at people’s hairlines for months, just waiting for his theory to pan out. Spain is apparently one of the top spots for smuggling drugs into Europe, which may or may not have something to do with the fact that Ibiza is basically the party capital of the universe, and their cars run on pure MDMA there. “There is no limit to the inventiveness of drug traffickers trying to mock controls,” said a police spokesperson. Apparently, international police forces have gotten better at coordinating their efforts to put an end to transcontinental drug muling. For the about the past five years, it’s been nothing but bad news for the Giudice family of Real Housewives of New Jersey fame. From the moment that Teresa and Joe Giudice were found guilty of tax fraud, they knew they were in for quite a bit of pain and torment in the years to come. But the reality of their current situation likely exceeds even the worst-case scenario that the Giudices could have conjured in their imaginations. Though he’s completed his prison sentence, Joe Giudice is now facing deportation to his native Italy. While he was born in the Italian village of Serrano, Joe’s family relocated to Paterson, New Jersey when he was less than a year old. He claims to have no knowledge of his home country, and Teresa has made it clear that she will not be moving to Italy if Joe is deported. And so, nothing less than Joe’s family life and his ability to earn a living are at stake. While there was a time when it looked as though Giudice would be able to throw himself upon the mercy of the court, these days, his options are disappearing rapidly. Giudice’s first appeal was rejected, and while he’s still in the United States, it seems increasingly likely that Joe will be making an unwelcome trip across the Atlantic very soon. His teenage daughter Gia even appealed to President Trump to intervene on her father’s behalf, but the request fell on deaf ears. Now, Giudice’s lawyers are pulling out all the stops in a last-ditch effort to keep Juicy Joe stateside. According to Radar Online, the top-dollar legal team pulled off a minor victory this week by receiving an extension for Joe’s final appeal, thus delaying his deportation. Joe was originally slated to submit his appeal on July 15, but now has until July 18 to prepare his final argument. That may not sound like much of a win, but those few days could turn out to be significant, as Giudice recently attracted the support of The Immigrant Rights Clinic of Washington Square Legal Services (IRC). According to a statement issued by the IRC, the “amici curiae are demanding that they appear before the Third Circuit Court judge” in order to argue Giudice should be permitted to remain in the US. It may only be a glimmer of hope, but it’s better news than the Giudiceds have had in a long time. And we’re sure Joe is hoping this is his opportunity to turn his dire situation around. While the man is far from innocent, we wish him all the luck in the world as he battles against this cruel and unusual punishment. Well, if you were looking forward to Single Ronnie re-joining the Spiral Squad on the current season of Jersey Shore, we’re afraid you may be disappointed. According to his latest interview, Ronnie is still in a relationship with Jen Harley — and it seems he has every intention of sticking by his baby mama’s side. “Right now things are going good [with Jen], and I think it’s because I made a change and I stopped doing the same thing over and over again,” Magro told Us Weekly exclusively. “I started just focusing on myself and stopped worrying about what other people wanted from me, and what I want for myself. So right now things are good.” “I’ve decided to start focusing more on me” sounds like your a New Year’s resolution announced by your most narcissistic friend, but we think we know what Ronnie is trying to say here. Focusing his attention on what others thought or expected of him led to his signature “Ron-pages” … and incidents like last year’s Vegas pool party fight that briefly shut down production on Shore. When Ronnie focuses on what’s best for Ronnie he surges, rather than spirals. Many would argue that what’s best for Ronnie would be breaking up with Harley again and actually making it stick this time, but hey — do you, bruh. Unfortunately, Ronnie’s announcement that he and Jen are still an item comes at an awkward time. Thursday’s episode of Jersey Shore saw Ronnie spinning an unlikely story of being attacked in a restaurant parking lot the night before Mike Sorrentino’s sentencing. Holes in the story and injuries that seemed inconsistent with Ronnie’s account led many to the conclusion that he had been attacked by Harley and was attempting to shield his baby mama from blame. But Ronnie promises that he will not be at the center of the drama during the new season of Shore. For one thing, we imagine much of the focus will be on Mike Sorrentino, who was sentenced to two years in prison on last week’s episode. (Sorrentino’s sentence was later reduced. He’s currently behind bars, but will likely be released to a halfway house before the end of summer.) On top of that, Ronnie is newly sober and intends to stay that way. That means no Ron-Ron Juice, no smush rooms … and hopefully, no drama. “I feel like now that everyone’s growing up! Even the new season, it’s not us in the club,” he added. “A lot of the stuff that goes on with us is real life stuff, real life things, and real life s–t doesn’t go on in the clubs anymore!” That’s all well and good … but bad stuff can happen outside of the club, too. Just keep this man away from rooms with “self-closing” doors, and everything will be fine!
