Authorities have released the chilling 911 calls made by a manager of a brothel in Nevada after his employees discovered Lamar Odom passed out in his suite on Tuesday. Played during a press conference the day after news of Odom’s hospitalization broke, one recording features Richard Hunter (the love ranch's media director) telling a 911 operator that the former basketball star had used cocaine on Saturday, but not taken any since then. “He's taken a bunch of these,” Hunter also says of natural sexual enhancement supplements. It has since been reported that this supplement is called Reload and it has a number of dangerous side effects. Doctors have determined that Odom suffered multiple strokes at the brothel; he remains in critical condition at the moment, with Khloe Kardashian by his side at a Las Vegas hospital. Roxanne Ford is just going ham. After greeting Roxanne without getting dressed first, Lucious plans his own offensive, announcing that the company will expand, not sit tight. “Where we come from, if the cops raid your house that makes you a G. If the feds raid your house it makes you an O.G.,” he tells the board. Even Mimi Whiteman approves. Part of his strategy is for Jamal and Hakeem to team up for a new music video where they star as post-apocalyptic Black Panthers, fighting oppression. Subtle, it is not. By a long shot. The uneasy truce between Empire and Lyon Dynasty comes as Lucious figures out that this raid is actually a tactic giving away two facts: The FBI can’t pin Bunkie on him; They don’t have Vernon, either. The music video shoot goes well until a photographer shows up with Jamal’s Rolling Stone cover, a lifesize portrait of ‘Mal and his beautiful soul. Hakeem takes a weapon from the props and stabs Rolling Stone Jamal in the throat, then gets into an actual fight with his brother, then peaces out. As for why Cookie let the shoot go haywire, she didn’t … but she did miss it after she was arrested on an outstanding warrant of suspicious origin. In the interrogation room, she recalls the years she spent in prison as none other than Roxanne Ford shows up and explains the current situation. Porsha gave her name after being busted hopping an MTA turnstile. Clearly, video shows it’s not actually Cookie … but this is Roxanne Ford here. She quickly threatens Cookie with a parole violation – and failing that, with what she’ll do to her sons – if she doesn’t sing on what Lucious did to Bunkie. She tells Ford that she doesn’t know if Lucious did anything to Bunkie, only that Bunkie tried to stop Lucious from completing the Apex radio deal. This lie makes a lot of circumstantial sense to Roxanne, as Lucious made the deal right after he got sprung from jail, and it also serves two purposes. Essentially, Cookie thwarted the Apex deal and tied Lucious up with the FCC, while not actually implicating him in any crime(s). A stroke of genius. Meanwhile, Andre is increasingly desperate to get his job back, even telling Rhonda that God wants him to. And the only way is to dig up Vernon. If he can make the FBI go away, Lucious says he can have anything he wants. That’s enough for the couple to head into the woods, shovels in hand. The headlights they assume are cops coming to bust them are actually those of Lucious and Thirsty, who followed them to the makeshift grave site. Thanks to Thirsty’s corpse detection system (seriously), they find Vernon’s body and put it in the trunk. A pair of makeshift eulogies are quickly offered: “I’ll miss you forever. God help me.” – Dre “You will rot in hell, you snitch.” – Lucious Dre gets his job back after a warm embrace from his father, and the next morning, Roxanne hops into her car … next to Vernon’s rotting carcass. Who put it there and how will she react now?! Also, who was the random woman in bed with Lucious at the beginning? Will ‘Mal and ‘Keem make up? Does the latter frequent jazz clubs often? Blankenship also wrote “I hope you have protection … I have a 9mm and a shotgun your dead b—- and you won’t see me coming,” and “periscope you’re undoing it’s raw and I will take my own life after you’ve life is gone,” in emails obtained by the paper. Malena took the threats to authorities and they tracked down “Joe Cook” and gifted him some brand new stainless steel bracelets. Not only was Blankenship ready to bust a cap inside a porn star, he also held murderous contempt for his family according to his mother. President Obama has sort of thrown his support behind Kanye West. With the rapper seemingly serious about a Presidential run in 2020 , the current Commander-in-Chief gave a speech at a fundraiser in San Francisco during which Kanye was set to perform. “A little bit later you’re going to hear from a guy who I hear has been talking about launching a potential political career,” said Obama, joking: “You may have heard about this. Kanye is thinking about running for Speaker of the House.” Obama went on to refer to President West as “Peezy” and then offered the following advice: First: “You gotta spend a lot of time dealing with strange characters who behave as if they are on a reality TV show.” And second: “Saying that you have a beautiful, dark, twisted, fantasy, that’s what’s known as off-message in politics.” HA! Via Fox News reports : Larethia Haddon said police showed up to her home Tuesday, the first day she placed a dummy face down in her front yard. Officer Jennifer Moreno told The Detroit News that officers came back to her house on Wednesday and Thursday. “We received one call each about the dummy on the sixth, seventh and eighth,” Moreno said. “But as of Friday, the only call we received to Mendota was to check on the welfare of a 99-year-old woman.” Haddon said she puts the dummy face down in a different location of her yard every morning and watches the reactions from passers-by as she drinks her coffee. She says some have attempted CPR and “once they find out it’s a dummy, it’s so hilarious.” Haddon told the newspaper she used to live in Redford Township and would have emergency personnel show up almost every day. Haddon said the tradition started because her husband’s birthday is on Halloween. Haddon said she didn’t mean to offend anyone. “I’m trying to bring laughter to Detroit,” she said. “We really need it.” Detroit definitely deserves some laughs, but this might actually cause a few heart attacks! Elena Gilbert, who?!? Okay, that may be an exaggeration. It may still take us awhile to fully adjust to life in Mystic Falls without Nina Dobrev’s beloved character. But The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 1 gave us plenty to focus on while Damon waits many decades to be reunited with his sleeping girlfriend. The Heretics have very much arrived… and they mean sinister business. Not Lily, though. Damon and Stefan’s mother spent most of the premiere trying to make peace, trying to teach her proteges how to simply fit in to this new world. But that’s never an easy task for a vampire, especially not after Stefan, Matt and Caroline try to do away with the Heretics for good by blowing up their house. This plan backfires, however, after the Heretics survive… and get really angry in response. They kill numerous residents at a town square gathering (where Matt receives his police badge, hooray!), forcing Stefan to come up with a new plan in order to keep everyone safe. He actually makes up a story about imminent (non-vampire-related) danger and goes about evacuating Mystic Falls. Stefan strikes a deal with Lily that basically puts the Heretics in charge (heck, they move in to the Salvatore mansion!), as long as they promise not to go after Stefan and his friends. But then Damon arrives home from a drunk trip to Europe. He went there to drink away his sadness over Elena, while Alaric joined him to do the same regarding Jo’s death. Oh, and Bonnie served as their chaperone. After viewers learned that Alaric has stolen some kind of mystical item (one desired by Lily) and, behind Damon’s back, is somehow trying to bring Jo back to life… Damon and Bonnie returned to their sparse hometown. Not a fan of Stefan and Lily’s peace accord, they teamed up to kill Malcolm, a Heretic especially close to Lily. We can only imagine the ramifications this will have on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 2 . Elsewhere: Enzo chose a side… and he made the wrong choice. Toward the end of the hour, he knocked out Caroline with a syringe. We opened the episode with a flash forward to three years from now in Brooklyn. And we saw a panicked Stefan wake up a sleeping Damon from his coffin. For what reason? Well, we closed the episode with the brothers on the run from a woman equipped with some impressive weapons. We also see that Stefan now has a tattoo, the same tattoo a mute Heretic named Beau has, and that it’s coming alive in this woman’s presence. WTF?!?!? Is the woman after them Lily? Why are the Salvatores in Brooklyn? What the heck is going on here?!?
