Source: JOHANNES EISELE / Getty Cardi B has been attempting to clear her name in the assault case against her where she allegedly ordered the beating of strip club bartenders Jade and Baddie Gi . The Invasion of Privacy star was in court Friday (April 19) but rejected a plea deal that would have given her a misdemeanor charge. TMZ reports : She was all business — decked out in white — as she walked through the rain, and into an NYC courthouse. As you know, Cardi’s accused of ordering an attack on 2 strip club bartenders — Jade and Baddie Gi — last August. Cardi allegedly thought Jade had slept with her man, Offset. Inside, prosecutors tried to play let’s make a deal. The offer — plead guilty to a misdemeanor, and get a conditional discharge. That would mean no jail time, but Cardi would have to stay out of trouble for some period of time. That didn’t appeal to her, and she rejected the deal before they could even discuss how long she’d have to keep her nose clean. The hearing didn’t take long, and Cardi strolled back out … silent as fans and photogs showed her love. Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Producer Said French Montana Coopted His Beat For Rapper’s Hit Song An Illinois producer claims that French Montana straight up stole his beat and used it for the song “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’” when he was still a teenager. Eddie Lee Richardson aka “Hotwire The Producer,” sued French Montana for copyright infringement and more earlier this month, alleging the rapper used his work without permission or payment. Richardson said back in 2012 when he was just 16, he made a song called “Hood Pushin’ Weight,” and registered the song with the U.S. Copyright Office. He said he uploaded the song to site SoundClick, a music sharing website and distribution platform. The plaintiff said French then took the song from the site, and the following year, released “Ain’t Worried About Nothin.’” He said the songs were identical, save for the lyrics and vocals. The producer believes French banked more than $5 million from the song, and he wants money damages that equal the amount of profit grossed from the single. It’s not the first time that French Montana has been in hot water over accusations that he stole music. We exclusively revealed that another producer sued him for the very same thing. In 2017 Morocco-born producer Assil Youssef sued him for using his beat for “Lockjaw” (featuring Kodak Black) without his permission. That case was later dismissed.

Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown revealed exactly how he started drinking again . Now, he’s focused upon his regained sobriety and living his life … a considerable distance away from his parents. A new report says that this is just how Matt likes it — because he doesn’t want much to do with the rest of the Browns. According to a new report by RadarOnline , Matt Brown is miles away from the new Browntown in Washington State. “Matt is living with his girlfriend in California right now,” an insider divulges. And he wouldn’t have it any other way. “He has no desire to be anywhere near his parents,” the source characterizes. “And,” the insider adds. “Really wants nothing to do with them.” Matt recently completed a stint in rehab. That inpatient treatment was followed by sobriety meetings, therapy, and a sober coach. Matt spent time in L.A. while his mother was in town. Ami still gets multiple check-ups a year to ensure that her lung cancer has not returned. Fortunately, the Brown family owns a Beverly Hills mansion. Apparently, Matt isn’t the only member of the Brown family who is tired of being cooped up in the wilderness. “Rain cannot wait to turn 18,” the source claims. Rain is currently 16 years old and has been her family’s de facto spokesperson since she was 14. The insider says that she looks forward to being an adult “so she can get out of the house.” Apparently a large source of Rain’s discontent is clashing with her older and only sister. “Although she and Birdie tolerate each other,” the source says. “They do not always see eye to eye on things and could not be any more different.” Sisters getting on each other’s last nerve is just a fact of life, but Rain isn’t alone. “Bam Bam and Allison want nothing to do with his family,” the insider says. “The only reason that Bam Bam even was on the show,” the source claims. “Is because he has to in order for them to keep the contracts.” Nothing brings a family together like a telvision contract, we guess. “He does not like his mother and father,” the insider explains. “Because of the way that they treat Allison.” And then there’s Gabe and his new bride, Raquell Rose. The two lovebirds tied the knot earlier this year, just one month before Valentine’s Day. But this same report claims that this was a shotgun wedding that Billy Brown forced them into. (In 2019, if you can imagine!) According to the claim, Raquell was pregnant, which is why she and Gabe were forced to the altar. They currently live pretty close to Billy and Ami, but it sounds like there are some major tensions at play. Families are complicated, and that is certainly true for the Browns. When you have as many children as Billy and Ami do, you’re really increasing your odds of family squabbles. Right now, it looks like there are only two things keeping the Brown family on speaking terms. The first is Alaskan Bush People itself and their contractual obligations. The second is the family fortune that they’ve amassed through their fame. View Slideshow: Alaskan Bush People: 13 Secrets They Don’t Want You to Know
Fans were aghast after rapper Kodak Black was a no-show to his own concert, canceling after they had waited for hours. Even his team was at a loss to explain it. But it turns out, however, that he had a very good excuse for ghosting them. Kodak couldn’t perform because he was too busy being arrested. Wednesday night, TMZ reported that Kodak Black had abruptly canceled a Boston concert at the last minute. After waiting for hours at the House of Blues only for Kodak the cancel and police to clear out the venue, fans were pissed. TMZ reached out to multiple members of Kodak’s team to find out what was up. Bizarrely, no one seemed to know why the gig was canceled, where Kodak was, or how to contact him or those traveling with him. He had just played another show on Saturday night. Within just a few days, he had ghosted his own people. Hours later, however, the mystery of Kodak’s absence had been solved. In the wee hours of Thursday morning, TMZ reported that Kodak had been arrested. The rapper was arrested at the U.S. border on weapons charges and on drug charges. Apparently, Kodak and three companions were stopped by a U.S. Customs Agent on Wednesday. Customs discovered the contraband and arrested him. The specific charges were criminal possession of a weapon — which is a felony — and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Multiple sources spoke to TMZ about it and explained some of the context. For whatever reason, between Kodak’s Saturday show in Detroit and his Wednesday show in Boston, he’d gone silent … and to Canada. He was caught at the border on his way back the U.S. and allegedly had at least two guns in his possession. Yikes. He was held on a $20,000 cash bond or a $40,000 bond. At slightly more reasonable hours on Thursday morning, TMZ obtained further specifics. According to police, Kodak and two others attempted to reenter the United States at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge. They were traveling in a Cadillac Escalade and had only a temporary California registration. Apparently Kodak himself was driving (literally what’s the point of being a celebrity, then?). Officers allegedly discovered weed on him and decided to search the entire vehicle. During the search, they allegedly found a Glock 9mm pistol, though no one in the Escalade declared ownership of it. And then there was the car accompanying them — a Porsche with three occupants. The Porsche’s driver admitted to police that he was in possession of two loaded handguns. … And then a third was found in the vehicle’s trunk. You know what else was in the trunk? More marijuana. According to a law enforcement source, one of the guns had an odd and even alarming design. “AK-style handgun with a 30-round magazine,” the source describes. “It looks like an AK, but it’s a handgun.” Stetson President and Madarrow Smith were arrested for criminal possession of a weapon. The driver of the Porsche, named Jeantony Saintmelus, was arrested for both criminal possession of a weapon and for possession of marijuana. Kodak was too busy being arrested to attend his show in Boston. His tour bus did show up to that venue, however. It ended up being surrounded by a massive crowd of furious fans who protested his no-show status. Perhaps now they’ll understand that he intended to make it, but it apparently wasn’t as high a priority as doing crimes. View Slideshow: Happy 4/20 From Celebrities Who Smoke Weed Errrrrrrday
Source: Marvel / Disney Marvel fans beware! Internet trolls have taken to social media and have begun leaking actual spoiler footage from the most highly anticipated threequel in the history of comic book cinema, Avengers: Endgame . Is it people down with DC? Maybe the Russians? Knowing Donald Trump’s childlike way of life it could be coming from The White House itself! Either way many fans have accidentally watched these scenes and immediately taken to social media to shed internet tears. I just saw leaked footage avengers endgame and honestly I’m ruined. Man. That sucked. — Quinta. (@quintabrunson) April 16, 2019 Apparently Avengers: Endgame spoilers hit the web. Mute all hashtags. Read your timeline with one eye closed. Do not tweet before you've seen the movie. Delete the Twitter app. Shut down DNS. Cut the submarine internet cables. Burn the internet down. — Rami Ismail (@tha_rami) April 16, 2019 Obviously we’re not going to be posting any of the spoilers (a pox upon the house of those who do), but from what’s being reported all the leaks add up to about 5 minutes worth of scenes which spoil the plot which everyone involved with the film had been trying to guard like an infinity gem in Vormir. Word about the leaked scenes got back to Endgame directors, the Russo brothers, who took to Twitter to plead with fans to refrain from spreading the spoilers while reminding everyone that “Thanos still demands your silence.” #DontSpoilTheEndgame pic.twitter.com/YZhbrwcijJ — Russo Brothers (@Russo_Brothers) April 16, 2019 If anyone doesn’t want to run the risk of accidentally peeping a spoiler they might want to log off of social media until they watch the movie for themselves. You can try just ignoring the potential spoilers but the temptation might prove too much to bare if you don’t have that inner Hulk strength to resist doing it to yourself. Now the only question is, are these same trolls going to be leaking the full unredacted version of that Mueller report.
Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty J Cruz And The Cruz Show Have Made Their Way To Real 92.3 Power 106 has been the home for hip-hop in Los Angeles for as long as fans can remember, but now, things are heating up for their cross-town competitor Real 92.3. Real 92.3 announced on Monday that The Cruz Show –which is anchored by one of LA’s most popular on-air personalities J Cruz , is going to join its afternoon program lineup every Monday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. starting on April 18. The host will be joined by Executive Producer Jeff Garcia , DJ Lechero and DJ Lezlee , who are also making the move. View this post on Instagram Real 92.3, LA’s New Home For Hip Hop AND The Cruz Show starting this Thursday afternoon at 2p! #CruzMoved @bigboy thank you my brother!! @thesportsdude @djlechero @djlezlee and I are ready!!! (in the process of changing my @) @real923la A post shared by CRUZ (@jcruz106) on Apr 15, 2019 at 7:12pm PDT “I couldn’t be more excited and grateful to join such a great group of legendary radio artists here at iHeartMedia’s REAL 92.3,” said Cruz. “Hosting LA’s first-afternoon hip-hop ‘morning show’ with my incredible team and merging with radio’s biggest family is a game changer. A special thanks to iHeartMedia for providing me with a fresh new platform to connect with the Los Angeles urban community.” This move by J Cruz mimics that of Big Boy back in 2015, whose departure shook all of the radio world and Los Angeles. Big helped Power 106 dominate the Los Angeles ratings for close to two decades, but left after iHeartMedia offered him $3.5 million a year–more than double what he made at Emmis Communications. His departure was so significant for the station that power 106 fell from their top 5 spot among popular Los Angeles radio stations down to 14–3 spots below their competitor, Real 92.3. There’s no word on what caused the move for The Cruz Show from Power–where he took over for Big Boy–to Real 92.3, but it was probably a similar situation to Big Boy’s regarding a higher paying gig. Big Boy ended up being sued by Emmis communications following his departure, and though he came out victorious, that information probably lends itself to a pretty big reason J Cruz might now be too vocal about why the switch was made–at least not for a while. J Cruz and his crew stopped by their new home over at Big Boy’s Neighborhood to talk about their move and how it feels to be back together again. Peep their interview below to see what both parties have to say about Real 92.3 being their new home.
