This broad just can’t get it together! The former prison guard who was busted for having a baby with a convicted cop killer has just lost custody of the kid for boozin’ it up with her baby daddy’s fam. Nancy Gonzalez — who will be sentenced later this month for her jailhouse romp with Ronell Wilson, the murderer of two police officers — lost her parental rights after she was plied with alcohol by Wilson family members at two meetings over the summer, according to court papers. Wilson relatives had wanted Gonzalez to testify about the baby at Wilson’s sentencing hearing earlier in the year in a bid to help him avoid the death penalty. But Gonzalez refused to testify and Wilson was indeed sentenced to die for killing undercover NYPD Detectives Rodney Andrews and James Nemorin during a gun buy-and-bust in 2003. At the meetings, Wilson’s family convinced Gonzalez to bring along the baby, though they were “subtly blaming her for the death verdict reached by the jury,” Gonzalez’s lawyer Anthony Ricco stated in court papers filed in hopes of leniency at the Nov. 15 sentencing. Gonzalez, 29, was plied with alcohol by the in-laws at two meetings — though as a recovering substance abuser, she is prohibited from drinking as a condition of her bail. The drinking, court papers said, “endangered the safety of the baby and led to an abuse-and-neglect proceeding endangering her maternal rights” — though it is unclear how a Family Court judge found out about the alleged bail violation. The baby, conceived at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and named Justus, is now 5 months old. He has been temporarily placed in the foster care of Gonzalez’s maternal aunt. Neither Wilson nor his relatives have any parental rights. “This sad episode underscores the depth of Nancy Gonzalez’s mental health issues and pressing need for her to receive treatment,” Ricco wrote. His court papers also claim Gonzalez has been the victim of sexual molestation and rape by a stepfather, uncles and other men since she was a child. Her mental health was so fragile that she had sexual contact with at least eight staff members — some men, some women — in her two years as a guard at the prison, Ricco said. Gonzalez viewed Wilson as she viewed herself — as “damaged outsiders” — and thought bearing his child would provide a “legacy to his otherwise tragic and dysfunctional life,” according to court papers. On the other hand, law enforcement officials believe Wilson merely sized up the vulnerable Gonzalez as someone he could easily manipulate into bearing his child so he could later argue against the death penalty because he had a son. But the jury never heard about the boy because Gonzalez did not take the stand. As Wilson remains in Death Row, Gonzalez faces up to 16 months in prison — but Ricco is urging Brooklyn Federal Judge Brian Cogan to give her probation so she can continue getting psychological help and take care of her son. SMH @ her sex life being all up in the papers. Sounds like this woman needs some serious therapy before she should be entrusted with raising a child. U.S. Attorney’s Office Continue reading →
Van Jones: Obama Will Pay Price On Health Care Promises Van Jones feels the president was trying to “do too much” with that Obamacare website and will pay for reneging on promises. According to Yahoo!: This morning on “This Week,” Crossfire co-host Van Jones, a former Obama administration official, said the president would “pay a price,” for reversing course on his now famous promise that those Americans who like their plans could keep them if them if they wished under Obamacare. “”And he overpromised. And he will, listen, he will pay a price. ‘Mission accomplished,’ you pay a price. ‘No new taxes,’ you pay a price. ‘You keep your plan,’ you pay a price,” Jones said. During his appearance on the “This Week,” roundtable Jones also tweaked the Obama administration for being too ambitious with Healthcare.gov, which has been plagued by problems since its launch last month. “First of all, they tried to do too much on this website, you could just have the website where you allow people to shop and then they could just call in, I mean, they tried to do too much and I think part of it was because it was a central thing they did, they tried to do too much,” he said. White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer, who appeared on “This Week,” defended the president. “If the president didn’t intend to keep this promise, why would he have gone out of his way to put a provision in the law that specifically says that if you have a plan before Obamacare passed, you can keep that plan,” he asked. Jones also took the Republicans to task for what he described as hypocritical behavior. “It is amazing to me now to see the Republican party now become the party of Ralph Nader. They’re the biggest consumer protection operation in the world now but 6 months ago, we had people who were getting these same cancellation notices and the Republican party was silent,” Jones said. The Real Housewives of Miami play drop your top, but just with friends. Can we “Blame It on the Alcohol” or is it just a case of Miami girls gone wild? We recap all the twerking and stripper poles in our THG +/- review. It’s Vegas baby and Lisa Hochstein’s hosting Joanna Krupa’s bachelorette party at The Palms. Plus 20. Get ready for some late nights, sun filled days, and topless fun. Yup. the girls get topless because isn’t that what you do with your friends? Joanna decided to drop her top in the pool and then went around removing the bikini tops of her friends. Plus 15. Adriana certainly didn’t seem to mind. Alexia put hers back on…and did anyone notice that Lisa’s never came off but she was far more drunk than anyone there? But Lisa’s been fighting with Lenny. She’s in a strange mood and make no mistake, she’s here to get blasted. Let’s rewind and head to the pool in the middle of The Palms. Lisa seemed miffed that Lea felt out of place. Minus 10. Well why wouldn’t she? She’s surrounded by a bunch of drunk 20-somethings having a massive pool party. Like Lea herself said, she felt like the only adult on Spring Break. And that dance she did with 5 Cent…just weird. Minus 18. On the way back to the room, Lisa rode Joanna like a little work horse. And that’s far from the only riding we’ll see tonight. The ladies prepare to hit the town and can someone tell Lea that those fishnets look ridiculous on her. Minus 20. Then there’s the penis pinata. I’m a little afraid to ask what was stuffed inside. And this party has barely begun. The ladies hit the party bus complete with male strippers. Suddenly two guys in G-strings are twerking all over Lea. Believe it or not, it gets worse. Lisa can’t resist a good stripper pole but it looks as though Adriana can’t pass up the pole either. Plus 25. Before you know it Adriana’s got her face in Joanna’s boobs and she’s giving Lisa a lap dance. If Lisa’s the one who’s blitzed, what’s Adriana’s excuse? But Lisa’s drunkenness gets all the attention and the digs start flying when Lea says Lisa likes to blow things and then Joanna says that with Lisa’s marriage on the rocks so she might need a stripper gig if Lenny leaves her. Then Alexia jumps in, only to make things worse. Isn’t Lisa the one who threw this party for her good friend? Minus 40 . It’s not nice to kick a drunk friend when they’re down. After an argument about who’s a whore (honestly if anyone looked inside that bus they’d think it was a mobile brothel) Lisa storms off in a huff. These housewives aren’t the brightest when they’re sober, so when they’re this drunk their IQ points take quite a tumble. And hasn’t anyone ever told them not to throw the bachelorette party the night before the wedding? Get ready for the Housewives version of the Hangover tomorrow night. Episode total = -28! Season total = -568!
Justin Bieber Seen Leaving Brothel Justin did make it rain on a big booty pole dancer so making it rain in the brothel isn’t far fetched. According to Page Six: Blame it on Rio! Justin Bieber tried to sneak out of a brothel in Brazil while covered in a sheet Friday — but photographers caught him red-handed. The 19-year-old pop star and a friend spent more than three hours in the popular whorehouse Centauros in Rio de Janeiro — before leaving with two women, sources said. He jumped into the back seat of a car while the women, who covered their faces, were put in SUVs and escorted back to his hotel. Bieber’s security team covered him with a bedsheet bearing the sex den’s logo as he walked out of the establishment — and one of his handlers sprayed photographers with water, demanding they stop snapping, sources said. The fotogs, who had been tipped off about Bieber’s visit to the whorehouse, confirmed it was the singer through his security team. The Biebs was also identified by his gray wraparound wrist tattoo, which is visible in some photos, and his signature sneakers, sources said. Bieber was later kicked out of the hotel for breaking rules, the Brazilian news Web site EGO reported. But another source insisted that Bieber left because hordes of fans mobbed the place, a creating a “security issue.’’ SMH. Sources at the hotel claimed he and his crew had for days been partying, doing drugs and disturbing people, according to EGO. The singer, who had been staying at the upscale Copacabana Palace hotel in southern Rio, moved his entourage to a rented mansion in a gated community, the site ¬reported. A spokesman for Bieber declined comment. Bieber’s trip to the brothel comes after he allegedly spent the night with a hooker in Panama last week, the Panamanian newspaper Cronicas reported. A prostitute told the paper that Biebs paid her $500 for sex after the two met at a nightclub in Panama City. He took her back to his hotel room and the two smoked weed, she told the paper. After the sex, he returned her to the club, where she met back up with friends, she said. Fans slammed the star via Twitter on Saturday, saying he’s too caught up in partying and sex. “Justin bieber has officially lost it,” tweeted @Nessa1Glee. Said @zeenieinabottle: “Don’t wanna hear him, see him, nothing. So done. This is absolutely disgusting.” The singer also took to Twitter, denying he hired hookers. “Please stop believing rumors, they are just that. bs rumors, getting tired of it, no truth to them. moving on now. seriously moving on,’’ he tweeted. Kirkpatrick, who reunited with NSYNC at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25 in JT’s honor, looked forward to another reunion on his big day. “They’re all coming to my wedding, so we’ll get to see each other again,” he told Rolling Stone in August. “Everything goes back. It’s like old times.” Chris is more than content being least famous of the fab five, and has always shunned extravagant displays of wealth, a fact that remains true to this day. Lance told a great story leading up to the wedding this week. “Can you believe Chris Kirkpatrick is getting married?” Bass said on his Sirius XM radio show Tuesday. “He just never seemed like the marrying type.” Kirkpatrick never liking the “finer things” in life, Bass said, and “What’s really hilarious to me is that we went to get fitted for our tuxes at Men’s Warehouse.” “He got us the cheapest tuxes there he could possibly get, which I think is so Chris and very lovely,” Bass joked of his good friend. “I mean that’s just who he is.” Bass added of another former NSYNCer, “I just think its hilarious to know that Justin Timberlake is going to be in a Men’s Warehouse tux ushering the wedding.” Indeed. You big dummy. Minister Stages Phony Hate Crime According to Raw Story: A Baptist minister from Virginia was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison for staging a phony hate crime attack at his home. Oleander Cuthrell, 41, minister of music at Gospel Shepherd Baptist Church, told the judge he was ashamed and embarrassed that he poured oil and gasoline across part of his home’s porch March 15 and setting fire to it after becoming overwhelmed by financial difficulties. “It was the most irrational decision that I made in my life,” he told the judge. “I can’t say just how bad I hate it.” Cuthrell, who is black, admitted to spray-painting racial slurs on two sides of his rental home in Chesterfield County to divert attention from himself before setting the fire. He also ignited a 16-ounce bottle filled with gas and oil inside a broken-down 1992 BMW parked in front of the house to help create more evidence that he’d been the victim of a racially motivated attack. The minister then went back inside the home, undressed and climbed into bed to wait for the house to burn down, prosecutors said. Cuthrell’s oldest son found the porch on fire after the family dog alerted him, and he was able to put out the flames before anyone was hurt. Cuthrell’s wife and two other sons were also home at the time. Police and FBI agents investigated the case as a possible hate crime, and Cuthrell told local news outlets his family had been targeted because of their race, but investigators quickly became suspicious and arrested the minister about two weeks after the fire. Authorities said Cuthrell had falsely claimed 12 years ago that he had been robbed in North Carolina to cover up a theft from his employer, and he was convicted of filing a false police report. Cuthrell must pay restitution to the damage he caused to the rental home, from which he’d faced eviction for being three months behind on rent before he set the fire. A check he’d written to his landlord for two months’ rent bounced, and he also told police he’d been worried about legal problems a son faced in North Carolina. It’s fawked up that a man of the cloth would pull such a stunt.
This is so disturbing. Mother Tried To Sell Daughter For Sex They will be selling her azz in exchange for some Newports in jail. According to The Daily Tribune: A Warren woman is in jail after she was charged Wednesday with offering her 4-year-old daughter on a controversial dating website to a man for sexual activity for money, according to police and law enforcement records. Jennifer Marie Brys, 25, and Edward Cody Reardon, 26, were arraigned in 37th District Court on charges of child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime. According to police, Brys is accused of placing a prostitution advertisement on Backpage.com in September and was contacted by Reardon. The two exchanged text messages where Reardon offered to pay her $300, but eventually indicated he was interested in having inappropriate contact, including showering, with Brys’ child. He was willing to pay between $300 and $500, officials said. Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green described the content of the messages as “disgusting and disturbing.” “She presents herself as available and they negotiate a price but in their text conversations, it becomes evident this guy is more interested in being with the daughter,” Green said. “And he asks her if she knows any other young girls between 7 and 12. This guy clearly was looking for opportunities to be with young girls.” The case came to light when the child’s father found the text messages on Brys’ phone the day before the meeting was to take place. The father, Aaron Perry, immediately contacted police for the child’s safety. SMH. Macomb County Circuit Court online records show Brys filed a lawsuit for determination of child support against Perry in 2009. The case has since been settled, court records show. As soon as Perry saw the text messages, he phoned police, who came to Brys’ house in the 8 Mile Road-Van Dyke area to investigate. During Wednesday’s court hearing, Brys, formerly of Hamtramck, pleaded with Judge Matthew Rumora to be released on bond. “I literally don’t have a place to live,” she said, according to a WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) report. “I am not a flight risk.” Reardon, a Lincoln Park resident, told the judge he wanted to be let out so he could contact a lawyer. But the judge set bond at $500,000 for each defendant. Officials cited an ongoing FBI investigation of Reardon for similar alleged crimes as a reason why the bond was not lower. Reardon had asked Brys to text him a picture of the child nude, and Brys responded with a photo of the girl with clothes on, police said. When you look at the picture of this innocent little girl, and think about what her mother wanted to do with her, the mother who is supposed to protect her, it’s disgusting and disturbing,” Green said. A preliminary hearing in district court to determine whether Brys and Reardon should be bound over to circuit court for trial is scheduled for Nov. 7. If the mother won’t protect the child, who will? An old guy buddy comedy starring Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Kevin Kline and Morgan Freeman, Last Vegas is about what you think it is. At least plot wise. How are the critics responding to the latest attempt at a movie with a familiar premise, but a different demographic? Can the fab four save a soft script? Check out what the reviews are saying below, then compare them to the critics’ Ender’s Game reviews as you decide whether to see either this weekend … Last Vegas Movie Trailer “A genial Hangover for the AARP set, Last Vegas is roughly what you’d expect, or fear, but a little better.” – L.A. Times “It does have these four men. And even if that may not justify a trip to the theater, it will make it a painless rent in a few months.” – New Jersey Star-Ledger “To make another comparison, Last Vegas is also like a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats. The adult in you can love the attempts at mature reconciliation and personal growth. But the kid in you can love all the silly comedy. But as anyone who’s had Frosted Mini-Wheats knows, it’s a sugary cereal. No one buys it for the nutritional value. They buy it because it’s sweet and delicious.” – Collider “From a distance, Last Vegas looked like something not worth seeing, sentimental, not very funny, glossing over the real issues surrounding the shift into old age … but no. Last Vegas is an entertaining movie with a lot of integrity, and it gives all of its actors – all heavyweights and Oscar winners – real moments to dig in and play something.” – San Francisco Chronicle Last Vegas Trailer “The rapport among the five principals, no two of whom have ever crossed on-screen paths before, amazingly enough, is strong enough, their timing and delivery sharp enough to make us forgive, forget, or ignore the script’s wince-worthy weak spots, which occur in a few scenes in which the actors look as uncomfortable as we feel watching them. But these are the exception, not the rule.” – Philadelphia Inquirer “Actors like these can sometimes be a pleasure to watch even when saddled with sitcom material, because their timing and delivery is still better than most. But in Last Vegas, everyone seems to be on a mildly diverting paid vacation, especially Freeman, who can scarcely disguise his contempt for the material. He doesn’t just seem to be phoning it in; he seems to be emailing it in from his trailer.” – Huffington Post “You will know pretty much every detail of the story within the first 10 minutes, though, a while after that, you will be happy to see Mary Steenburgen, playing a lounge singer who befriends our foursome and adds a pinch of dramatic spice to the proceedings. Just a pinch, mind you. There is nothing here that would upset the digestion, though the relentless cross-generational lechery becomes a bit distasteful, even though it is just as unsurprising as everything else.” – New York Times
