But it's not also clear that Jen Harley doesn't get along with Ronnie's close friends. On the season finale of Jersey Shore , Harley called to say her home was broken into. However, while Ronnie expressed concern, most of his fellow stars expressed extreme doubt, calling Jen's story into question multiple times on the episode. Jen has been made aware of their reactions. And she has something to say about it… 1. Can You Set the Stage for Us? Absolutely. Ronnie received a call from Jen on this finale, as she informed him that the couple’s home in Las Vegas was burglarized while she and their daughter, Ariana, were asleep. 2. Really, Though?!? Ronnie was worried about his girlfriend and child. But his roommates were critical of Jen’s allegation. 3. BS ALERT! “I don’t buy it. Not for one second,” said Pauly D in response to the call and Jen’s robbery claim. “Jen is up to no good. Because the last time I talked to Ronnie, he had blocked her and I think she’s just doing this to get Ronnie to talk to her.” 4. The Situation Agreed “This is definitely a bit fishy. He had his baby mama blocked. She was moved out of his house. But now, she’s coming up with a whole new development saying there was a home invasion,” said The Sitch in a confessional. 5. Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William are preparing for a very awkward Christmas. And we’re here to make it even more tension-filled! As you have very likely heard by now, there’s an alleged feud between Markle and Middleton. There’s also an alleged feud between Harry and William over how each feels about the former’s new wife. Acutely aware of the perception around the globe about these four members of the Royal Family, Kensington Palace has basically ordered the quarter to spend the holidays together. According to multiple outlets, Kate and William were planning on being with the Middletons on December 25 — until higher-ups stepped in and decided otherwise. Now, both couples will be in London for the birthday of Jesus Christ, as the world prepares to analyze each and every photo of them on their way to church that morning. Before that opportunity, arises, however, the tandems have given fans two more photos to analyze. The first is a brand new snapshot from Markle and Harry’s wedding, unveiled on Friday morning for the first time because it will be the lead picture of their inaugural Christmas card. We’ve posted it above. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share a new photograph from their Wedding Reception at Frogmore House on 19th May,” Kensington Palace captioned the image on Twitter, adding: “The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card, was taken by photographer Chris Allerton.” Very pretty, right? But is it prettier than the one also just released by Kate and William? These parents of three just came out with their own Christmas card photograph, one that depicts Middleton and her Prince cuddled up closely with their children: Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months. The holiday portrait was taken in early fall at the pair’s country home in Norfolk and it marks little Louis’ Christmas card debut. You can compare it here to the 2017 version of the famous family: During a walkabout late last month, Middleton revealed how her kids were getting ready for the holiday. “The [kids] are doing well, thank you,” she told fans, adding of her brood: “Getting excited for Christmas time because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and Christmas trees are going up and stuff.” She didn’t really address how much she supposedly hates Middleton . Early this year, Eliza Dushku shared that she was molested at age 12 on the set of True Lies. It was a heartbreaking #MeToo story. What she did not share, because she had signed a confidentiality agreement, was something less awful but much more recent. Eliza was paid $9.5 million by CBS after she reported Michael Weatherly’s sexual harassment on the set of Bull . The New York Times reports that Dushku was paid $9.5 million in a secret settlement by CBS. Eliza joined the cast of Bull , a show that really exists about Dr. Phil, as a guest star whom they planned to make a series regular. The Buffy and Dollhouse alum quickly reported disturbing and outrageously inappropriate comments made by the show’s lead actor. Weatherly, best known for his roles on NCIS and Dark Angel , apparently made a series of not-safe-for-work (and not-safe-for-anywhere) comments. Eliza reported the sexual harassment … and quickly found herself written off of the series. Michael Weatherly made a rape joke, suggested a threesome, and made other comments of an overtly sexual nature to and about Eliza. According to the report obtained by the Times , Eliza laid out the incidents of sexual harassment. She reported that she made a gesture with three fingers, which prompted Michael to suggest that the two of them engage in a threesome with another cast member. She says that he would make comments — so apparently this happened multiple times — about bending her over his knee and spanking her. Gross, dude. Eliza also reported that he referred to a scene filmed at a windowless van and referred to it as a “rape van.” That last could have been a poor attempt at acknolwedging the creepiness of a windowless van, but it is not appropriate for a workplace. Though Eliza has not officially commented on the story, Michael did speak to the Times on the subject. “During the course of taping our show,” Michael says in his statement. “I made some jokes mocking some lines in the script.” “When Eliza told me that she wasn’t comfortable with my language and attempt at humor, I was mortified to have offended her and immediately apologized,” he says. “After reflecting on this further,” Michael adds. “I better understand that what I said was both not funny and not appropriate.”: “And I am sorry and regret the pain this caused Eliza,” Michael concludes. An apology is better than nothing. Sometimes, people need to unlearn bad behavior. Eliza did receive the $9.5 million settlement, said to be what she would have been paid as a castmember for four season of Bull . In exchange, she had to keep quiet about the sexual harassment and the circumstances of her being written off of the show. According to the draft of the investigation report, this case exemplifies one of a number of problems at CBS. That’s no surprise. In a professional environment where reports of a man’s sexual harassment lead to a woman being written off of a show, things are not good. There is hope that, with the ousting of Les Moonves, CBS can undo decades of damage. In a statement to People , CBS acknowledges that this is far from their finest moment as a network. “While we remain committed to a culture defined by a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace, our work is far from done,” the statement reads. “The settlement of these claims,” CBS explains. “Reflects the projected amount that Ms. Dushku would have received for the balance of her contract as a series regular.” “And,” the statement says, the amount “was determined in a mutually agreed upon mediation process at the time.” Getting paid without doing the work may sound like a good deal, but it doesn’t help your resume or face-recognition. A Broken Home A broken INTO home, we should say, as Jen Harley called Ronnie and claimed their house in Las Vegas had been burglarized overnight. She and daughter Ariana were safe, however. 2. What? Why??? “Jen’s telling me that somebody broke into the house,” Ronnie said during a confessional. “Basically, the guy came in through the back door, and he ransacked the house. She was laying in bed, she heard shuffling, he saw that she moved and just f-cking ran out the house.” 3. For Real, Though??? Let’s just say that Ronnie’s friends had some doubts about Jen’s story here. 4. What Was Taken? According to Harley, only her phone (which means she called Ron from someone else’s phone and not from her blocked phone) and her friend’s laptop. 5. We’ve Got a Sketchy Situation Here, Alleged The Situation “This whole situation with Jen is crazy,” Mike told the camera. “There is a calamity or crisis once a week, like clockwork. She was moved out of his house. Now, a day later, she’s moving back in the house because of this ‘home invasion.’ If you ask me, it’s always an inside job.” 6. Think About This, Ron-Ron When the fellas tried to bring up to Ronnie the possibility that Harley could be lying, he refused to believe it. “She wouldn’t do that with the baby, bro. On Wednesday, we reported that 90 Day Fiance star Larissa Dos Santos Lima is not going to prison for domestic battery . But that doesn’t mean that things are all good between her and her husband, Colt Johnson. In the wee hours of Thursday morning, Larissa accused Colt of continuing to flirt with other women. And she brought out the receipts. “I’m taking a break of internet,” Larissa writes in a now-deleted Instagram post before sunrise on Thursday. “Truly hurt me,” she explains. “Seen my husband flirting online.” (English is not Larissa’s native language, but her meaning is clear — she find it emotionally hurtful when Coltee allegedly flirts) “I’ll be here answering my messages,” Larissa announces. Her caption was beside a wedding photo in which Deb, her mother in law, has been very conspicuously cropped out. The post is no longer with us, but you can see it here: Early this morning, I took a screenshot of this post just in case it was deleted — which seemed pretty likely at the time. “My dress cost 150 by goodwill,” she shares. She explains that she is, contrary to some of her statements on 90 Day Fiance , just fine with modest living. “I’m not a gold digger,” Larissa insists. As far as being a good wife, Larissa writes: “I always cleaned his house took care of him.” (Can we just say that no spouse should be doing all of the housework? If you want to do zero housework, hire someone to clean) “I’m good,” Larissa writes. “i just want to breathe.” It sounds like she feels like her relationship problems are suffocating at times. “I can’t keeping posting my personal life online,” she says. “I just wished that he woke up,” she concludes. “And these women stop to message him.” Maybe it would have been better if Colt and Larissa had spoken to each other about this before anyone posted anything on social media. That was not all that Larissa had to say on social media. She also sent out a screencap of where she called out a woman who has allegedly been sending flirtatious images to Colt. That’s pretty confrontational — and also not proof that Colt has been disloyal to Larissa. (She kind of shot her credibility in the foot when she flipped out on “attention whore” Colt for complimenting a woman’s glasses ) “Colt likes the women attention that he is getting,” Larissa accused in an Instagram comment. “Nobody believe when I said he still flirting online,” she lamented. “Last night,” Larissa claimed. “I found two pictures of one girl that he was texting.” She then explained how she had found them through his Dropbox. (Any kind of synced system for photos or other media has become a very common way for spouses to uncover cheating) “It’s sad because, when he was alone, I was there for him,” Larissa wrote. “Now he doesn’t care anymore,” she says. “Because he has options.” “Now,” Larissa claims. “He thinks that he can get something better.” “And now that I was used to ‘living with mother in law experience,'” she continues. “He wants someone new that he will handle better,” Larissa concludes. It looks like there’s trouble in this marriage. Does the deletion of her earlier post mean that all is good? Or are these two prepared to split? Only time will tell. Source: Taylor Hill / Getty On Tuesday, the CEO for Google, Sundar Pichai, found himself in an awkward situation when he had to explain Trump’s association with one particular word. According to The Verge , Pichai was being questioned at a House Judiciary Committee hearing where Congress people were trying to decide if Google manipulated search results based on political bias. When Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) stepped up to question Pichai, she wondered why pictures of Donald Trump were the first to show up when the word “idiot” was typed in Google image. “Right now, if you google the word ‘idiot’ under images, a picture of Donald Trump comes up. I just did that,” she said. “How would that happen?” Uuuum… Pichai was ready for Rep. Lofgren. He put forth a general explanation of how Google search engines work: “Any time you type in a keyword, as Google we have gone out and crawled and stored copies of billions of [websites’] pages in our index. And we take the keyword and match it against their pages and rank them based on over 200 signals — things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it. And based on that, at any given time, we try to rank and find the best search results for that query. And then we evaluate them with external raters, and they evaluate it to objective guidelines. And that’s how we make sure the process is working” Any further questions Lofgren??? Luckily, Lofgren was on Pichai’s side and was trying to refute the idea that Google’s search engine was politically motivated. She followed up with another question… “So it’s not some little man sitting behind the curtain figuring out what we’re going to show the user?” Lofgren asked sarcastically. Pichai replied, “This is working at scale, and we don’t manually intervene on any particular search result.” News outlets peeped the “idiot” Trump results earlier this year. They revealed that certain outside parties have something to do with Google’s search results. According to The Guardian , one reason Trump’s face is associated with the word “idiot” is because protesters used Green Day ‘s “American Idiot” song to soundtrack Trump’s trip to London. There’s also been an intentional campaign to associate Trump’s picture with the word by manipulating Google’s algorithms. A lot of this involved people up-voting a Reddit post containing a photo of him and the word “idiot.” Such tactics are known as “Google bombing.” Trump isn’t the first to get Google-bombed either. According The Verge , in the mid-2000s, searches for “miserable failure” notoriously returned results about President George W. Bush. So whether it’s Google bombers or natural Google algorithms, the word “idiot” and Trump can’t help but be linked together. What are ya gonna do. Shadow and Act revealed a very vague plot outline earlier this week: A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o from Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (Winston Duke from Black Panther) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss from TV series The Handmaid’s Tale). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.
As you’ve probably heard by now, Meghan Markle is reportedly feuding with Kate Middleton . Some say the situation has gotten so dire that it’s begun to tear at the fabric of Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship. Reports of animosity between Kate and Meghan surface every few months, but this time, the rumor has lingered due to a series of events that seemed to lend credence to the theory that Meg’s not making many friends across the pond. First, in a rare move, Kensington Palace issued a statement on Kate and Meghan’s feud . Then came the royal housecleaning. In the span of a week, two members of Meghan’s staff left their posts in seemingly abrupt fashion. Assistant Melissa Toubati quit amidst reports that Meg had “terrorized” her and berated her in front of her co-workers. (Toubati has yet to address these rumors publicly.) Shortly thereafter, Meghan and Harry’s interim secretary Samantha Cohen announced that she would be stepping down after the birth of the Duchess’ baby. Of course, the keyword there is “interim.” As royal insiders have been pointing out, Cohen was never supposed to be a permanent fixture on Meghan and Harry’s staff. “She’s not leaving because of any drama with Meghan,” one insider tells Us Weekly. “She agreed to stay for six months to help post-wedding and because Meghan and Harry were hoping a baby would come soon after that and knew they needed extra help. “Samantha has a lot of respect for Harry and Meghan and enjoyed working for them. But her time is now up.” Okay. So this is the rare tabloid report that actually downplays the drama. The same piece featured insights from royal expert Omid Scobie who says he can’t fully deny the reports of Meghan’s unpopularity among royals and staffers, but he believes they’ve been greatly exaggerated: “I’m sure there are people in other royal households who don’t agree with some things that she does or with her delivery, and that is solely based on cultural differences,” Scobie says. “Americans are direct when it comes to business, and Brits are reserved,” he adds. “So, of course, some things can be misread at times. But I have yet to come across someone in the Kensington Palace household who has a bad word to say about Meghan.” Is that it? Is Meghan simply too American for royal life? Is it because of her pesky Americanness that she’s held to such a higher standard of behavior? We can’t imagine the British tabloid press losing its mind if Kate wore black nail polish . And it’s tough to picture The Sun teeing off on the Duchess of Cambridge form an improper curtsy . Sigh. Gather up your muskets, folks. We may have to fight another Revolutionary War. M assachusetts Representative-elect Ayanna Pressley remained true to the message she shared with NewsOne before winning her primary race for Congress: The Democratic Party is at a crossroads and must support Black female candidates to succeed in the future. “I think our campaign is asking the question, ‘Democrats, are we really who we say we are or do we just roll out hashtags and bumper stickers to make for cute slogans’?” she told NewsOne when asked about the party’s failure to support her and other women of color. It includes several members who are the first African-American women to represent their state or district, including Pressley, Lauren Underwood of Illinois, Jahana Hayes from Connecticut and Georgia’s Lucy McBath . Unlike the other three, Pressley and many other Black female candidates received no support from the Democratic Party. Indeed, the party’s establishment backed Pressley’s primary opponent, 10-term incumbent Rep. Michael E. Capuano . Despite trailing in the polls leading up to the September primary, Pressley won 58.9 percent of the vote to his 41.1 percent. Pressley, who was a Boston city council member, vowed to champion bread-and-butter issues for her constituents, such as improved housing, public health and education, as well as economic development and criminal justice reform. She connected with struggling working-class families by promoting those progressive issues, she told NewsOne. At the gathering Tuesday in the nation’s capital, Pressley told her audience that she discovered a “mandate for hope” while running her own campaign and supporting the campaign of other insurgent candidates. She urged party leaders to take careful note as they navigate a course for the 2020 elections. According to a new report by TMZ the rapper’s attorney will not consider a plea deal. “A plea deal is simply off the table, even if the feds offer one” Lance Lazzaro told the gossip site. This announcement comes as a surprise to many as prosecutors have submitted several photos as evidence to the judge. Included are shots of the Brooklyn rapper, his former associate Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and automatic weapons that places them at armed robberies and shootings that took place earlier this year. According to the court documents police confiscated smartphones from Tekashi’s crew. Once inspected the devices synced up exactly with the GPS locations of the armed robbery on April 3 in Brooklyn. The backpack that is alleged to be stolen was found in Tekashi’s home during a raid in September. An AR-15 rifle was also retrieved from the search of the house. Lazzaro is standing firm about his client’s innocence as none of the footage or visuals show him pulling a trigger or receiving any pilfered goods. He added that 6ix9nine “was never part of a conspiracy, plain and simple. Nor did he ever participate in any incidents that the government has alleged.” You can view the photo evidence here .
