$9K Goodwill painting

“Red Nose” just meant a reindeer named Rudolph to Karen Mallet until she bought a print by that name for $12.34 at a Goodwill store in Milwaukee. It turned out to be a lithograph by American artist Alexander Calder worth $9,000. Mallet#39;s good fortune is at least the fourth time in six months that valuable art has turned up at Goodwill, where bargain-hunters search for hidden treasure among the coffee cups, jewelry, lamps and other household cast-offs. Last month, a Salvador Dali sketch fou

Mildred Baena: Mostly Chopped Out of Schwarzenegger Memoir

Mildred Patricia Baena, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s maid-turned-mistress and secret baby mama, doesn’t get a lot of ink in his self-proclaimed tell-all book. In fact, he pretty much glosses over the whole affair. It would be pretty hilarious, if it weren’t so depressing that he did this to wife Maria Shriver and is now trying to profit from it with the release of Total Recall . The passage on Mildred Baena reads: “Mildred had been working in our household for 5 years and all of the sudden we were alone in the guest house.” “When Mildred gave birth the following August, she named the baby Joseph.” THAT’S IT. Then again, everybody pretty much knows about it by now, including Baena and Shriver, so why waste time on the nitty gritty of fornicating with the help. The book is called Total Recall , though, not Selective Recall . Burn. Baena was identified as Schwarzenegger’s mistress in May 2011.

Dirty Dog Diaries: Arnold “Sperminator” Leaves Out All The Dirty Details Of His Affair With Mildred “The Help” Baena In New Book “Total Recal”

That is a REALLY lame book title Schwarzy… Arnold Schwarzenegger Leaves Out Steamy Details About Affair With Mildred Baena In Totall Recall Book According to TMZ reports : Looking to relive her adulterous glory days, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s baby madre Mildred Baena has decided to read Arnie’s tell-all book “Total Recall” … but the problem is, Arnie didn’t really tell all. Mildred shamelessly brought the book out to a cafe in Bakersfield yesterday — in full view of a photog who just happened to be there — where she may have finally learned that the steamiest parts of her affair were CHOPPED from the final version. Seriously … when Arnold brings up Mildred in “Recall,” he goes from “she worked in the house” right to “when she gave birth to the kid” … completely blowing off the dirty details of the courtship. Here’s the exact passage: “Mildred had been working in our household for 5 years and all of the sudden we were alone in the guest house. When Mildred gave birth the following August, she named the baby Joseph.” What the hell was the purpose of writing the book if you weren’t gonna let us in on the dirt?! The adulterous cat is already out of the bag, you might as well just put it out there. Besides, inquiring minds want to know how the HELL you ended up choppin’ down this ug-…”unfortunate” lookin’ lady when you could have any any thirst-bucket broad in Hollyweird?!?! Hilary Duff Wants Her Retired Husband To Be A “Stay-At-Home Dad” Wow so dude feels like he’s Hilary’s “slave”…SMH. Hilary Duff wants her husband to be a stay-at-home dad. The actress and singer gave birth to son Luca on March 20, and since her husband Mike Comrie has retired, she has decided he should look after their new addition when she resumes her film career. A source said: ”Hilary told Mike that since he’s retired she’s now the family breadwinner, he should be the stay-at-home parent. ”She had Mike trained to do diapers and bottle feedings, and she has put him in charge of other household duties, including making breakfast, doing laundry and light cleaning.” Hilary, 24, has wasted no time getting back to work following the birth of Luca, and was spotted leaving the gym less than two weeks after her son was born. The source added to the National Enquirer magazine: ”Mike loves his son and is enjoying the bonding time, but he jokes he feels more like Hilary’s slave than her husband. ”Meanwhile, Hilary goes to Pilates classes five times a week, and she’s out shopping and doing lunches with girlfriends most afternoons. She buzzes around town to meetings and auditions.” Currently Hilary has no movies scheduled, but she recently finished shooting ‘She Wants Me’.

Jagged Edge’s The Remedy ‘Trying To Bring Back Black Love’

Group’s first Slip-N-Slide Records release will feature ‘Lay You Down.’ By Jayson Rodriguez Jagged Edge Photo: MTV News When Jagged Edge decided to name their new album — their seventh overall as a group — The Remedy , the four-man collective definitely had the idea of repairing relationships in mind. “We’re trying to bring back black love,” group member Richard Wingo told MTV News. “That’s what sets us apart from a lot of the music: It’s not just sex, it’s love involved. That’s what people need more of today. They need to put down their guns a little more.” Their forthcoming LP, due in March from their new recording home , hip-hop label Slip-N-Slide Records (Trina, Plies), features Jagged Edge (Wingo, Kyle Norman, and Brian and Brandon Casey) returning to their roots. “Lay You Down,” a mid-tempo number they’ve released, proves it’s been easy for them to come home musically. The album’s title is derived from a track on their standout third album, 2001’s Jagged Little Thrill . That set included the hit “Where the Party At,” featuring Nelly, and “Goodbye.” “Remedy,” although not a single from that album, like “Driving Me to Drink,” was a fan favorite and classic Jagged Edge ballad. “We wanted to go back and touch on it a little bit,” Wingo said about the nostalgic title. “It’s just fun: We always been big on titles. If you go back throughout our albums, we have songs like ‘Head of the Household’ and ‘Respect,’ just a bunch of great titles for songs. We put a lot of thought into the titles, and at the end of the day, it was a perfect title for the album.” What is your favorite Jagged Edge title? Tell us in the comments below!
