Aviva Drescher has been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City after two seasons on the Bravo series, according to multiple reports. The New York Post mentioned Aviva’s departure in an article also stating that Helena Christensen is joining the cast for its upcoming season. Drescher, 45, an author, amputee and married mother of four, will be best remembered for her leg-throwing incident on the sixth season finale: Arrivederci, Aviva Drescher? Last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County featured Tamra Barney revealing her bedroom “freak factor,” and flaking out on a party thrown for Lizzie Rosvek’s 34th birthday. Barney was apparently stunned when she saw the drama play out on Bravo last night, and while she’s not denying that she enjoys experimenting with various orifices, she is claiming that the scene in which she bails on Lizzie’s birthday – seemingly for no reason – was completely staged by producers. They had her call me and say, ‘How rude that you didn’t call me.'” Barney says she was forced to stay home because her daughter was sick. She goes on to defend Shannon Beador, who apparently also wasn’t feeling well on the night of the soiree: “Shannon told me she was too sick and was told by producers that she had to go. I told her that was not right and she needed to be strong with them. There were a lot of interesting moments at Comic Con 2014, held this past weekend in San Diego. We’re sure for many fans, just the opportunity to get the first glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman was worth the price of admission. But while Gadot’s hotness reigned supreme at the Batman vs. Superman panel, it was surely Game of Thrones mastermind George R.R. Martin who provided the bulk of this year’s highlights. First, the George R.R. Martin Khaleesi photo took the Internet by storm and proved and that the man responsible for Theon Greyjoy having his peen lopped off has a sense of humor after all.
