Westside Get The Money: TDE Announces Pop-Up Shops To Accompany Upcoming Championship Tour

Chris McKay/WireImage Top Dawg Ent Announces Pop-Up Shops For Label Tour Top Dawg Entertainment  is about to do it big this summer. On Friday, TDE announced that along with their highly-anticipated Championship Tour , the label will also be hosting a series of special pop-up shops. The shops will be set up at 16 locations across North America, including dates in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, and Chicago. The brand has not yet announced what kind of products will be sold at the events, but it’s sure to be some heat based on the merch they regularly release. On top of that, the flyers for the event feature a NIKE logo along side TDE’s, so some of Kendrick Lamar’s super hard-to-get Cortez collaborations might be in the building. The Championship Tour will feature almost every TDE artist including Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker, along with special guests to be announced. The tour and the pop-up both kick off May 4 in Vancouver.

Magical: Chris & Jada Paul Give One Hurricane-Hit High School A Prom To Remember

Source: Gabriel Olsen / Getty Houston Rockets player Chis Paul and his wife Jada put their money to beautiful use this past Friday when they hosted a Beauty and the Beast -themed prom. The event was led in conjunction with the Chris Paul Family Foundation, which hosted 800 students from C.E. King High School at The Citadel in Houston. Teens arrived in their finest for a memorable night and one of the best parts about it was everything was free. C.E. King High School was one of the buildings worst hit by Hurricane Harvey in 2017 causing the students to attend nearby elementary schools. The students returned to their campus in January 2018, and Chris along with his wife thought it would be great to plan their prom free of charge. “Chris and I both have fond memories of our proms and we wanted to help make sure we passed that memory on to these young people,” Jada said. The Pauls even hosted a pop-up shop in March were students could pick their prom outfits for free. In addition to this, a State Farm Good Nieghbor award was presented to seniors  Erika Villaneuva and Joshua Early for their community work during the hurricane.   Swipe through for some epic photos from the prom!

Jim Bob Duggar: Has He Cut Off Contact With Jinger?!

Not long after she married Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger Duggar began establishing herself as her famous family’s resident rebel. The most obvious act of defiance was Jinger’s decision to start wearing pants , a violation of her parents’ dress code that reportedly didn’t sit well with patriarch Jim Bob. But that’s not the only way that Jinger has taken to publicly flouting the Duggars’ famously strict code of conduct. Jinger waited to get pregnant for more than a year after she got married, thus tossing out generations of family tradition. She became the first of her generation to leave the Duggars’ home state of Arkansas when she and Vuolo relocated to Laredo, Texas. There have even been rumors of Vuolo clashing with Jim Bob over major differences in religious doctrine. And now it looks as though Jim Bob may have finally become fed up with Jinger’s rebellious tendencies. As In Touch Weekly points out, eagle-eyed Duggar fans have noticed that Jim Bob and Michelle recently traveled to Texas … and there’s no indication that they took time out to visit the Vuolos in Laredo. Just last week,  Jinger and Jeremy stopped by Magnolia , a Houston food and home goods market owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Interestingly, Jim Bob and Michelle visited the same store just days later, but it doesn’t look as though they spent even a few hours with Jinger and Jeremy during their time in the Lone Star state, Many have already jumped to the conclusion that this is all an indication of a major rift between Jim Bob and his headstrong daughter. When Duggar women get married, it’s their husbands, not their fathers who determine the rules they’ll live by. That’s one of the reasons potential suitors are so thoroughly vetted by Jim Bob. But every so often, someone like Jeremy slips through the cracks. A pro soccer player turned baptist preacher, Jeremy no doubt impressed Jim Bob a great deal when they first met. But it wasn’t until after he and Jinger said “I do” that the extent of Jeremy’s relative liberalism was revealed, and it’s not hard to see how Jim Bob might feel threatened. In the months since Jinger started wearing pants instead of skirts, two of her sisters have followed suit, which means her rebellious spirit might be proving infectious. Sources close to the couple tell us that Jinger has essentially instructed Jinger to forget about Jim Bob’s rules . He’s even taken to the pulpit to denounce Jim Bob’s outdated ideas about “modest attire” and the “woman’s work.” But has the situation gotten so bad that Jinger and Jim Bob are no longer on speaking terms? If that’s the case, you can expect the Duggars to do their best to keep the situation a secret … but knowing the obsessive nature of their fans, the truth likely won’t remain hidden for long. Monitoring the patient’s wellbeing Devyn Holmes Reportedly Making Progress The young man, Devyn Holmes whose tragic shooting went viral after a woman shot him in the head on Facebook Live is making progress according to his family members on social media. Allen Tyler, a man claiming to be Devyn Holmes’ dad says the wounded man was responding to command and breathing on his own after reportedly being on life support. Hey. got some positive vibes for you he was alert ,responding to command physically and breathing more on his own then yesterday. Now that’s some news you can repost.my lil mans a gentleman, scholar and a warrior  keep your prayers coming…   Holmes’ older brother, Kendric, also took to Facebook to say that Devyn’s health was improving.   So far no reports yet on how Devyn is expected to recover. His alleged shooter Cassandra Damper was booked by Houston Police Department Southeast Jail on April 1, 2018. Her charges include homicide related tampering with evidence.

The first show kicks off on May 11 in Miami, and the huge, 4-month tour will stop everywhere from Texas, to New Mexico, and Canada to Nebraska. The trek wraps up in August with a show in Birmingham, Alabama. Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Friday, April 6. Micheal Brown, a senior at Lamar High School, got accepted into the likes of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern, Stanford and Georgetown as well as others like Pomona College and the University of Michigan. The New York Times spoke with his mother Berthinia Rutledge-Brown who couldn’t be prouder of her son’s achievements. “I cried because I realized that there was a chance that my child would get the education he deserves — the one I could not afford to pay for,” she said. “He actually earned it,” said Ms. Rutledge-Brown, a drug counselor. “I always knew Mike would get into a good school. I always knew he’d get good scholarship support. But I never imagined this.” Micheal has a 4.68-grade point average, an SAT score of 1540 out of 1600 and an ACT score of 34 out of 36. In addition to the full rides, he also has $260,000 in outside scholarships. We see you, king! Congrats on your achievements!
