Nicki Minaj’s New Boo Shows Off “Onika” Neck Tattoo Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Friday to show off just how much her new bae really loves her. In a video that shows Minaj next to Kenneth Petty, she zooms in on a fresh tattoo that says Nicki’s government name, “Onika”, in red and black ink. “Did your tat hurt,” Nicki asks in the video. “Naw, not at all,” he responds. It was the first time Petty got a tat. Nicki has been criticized by her Barbz for being so lovey-dovey with Petty, who has a long rap sheet . Petty was reportedly convicted on manslaughter and first-degree attempted rape charges and spent multiple years in jail. Petty isn’t the first man to show his love through ink. Safaree Samuels, who was in an almost decade-long relationship with Nicki, previously had a tattoo of the rapper. He eventually covered it up after the two broke up a few years ago.

Calling the bill “an incredible success for our country” and “beyond bipartisan” during an Oval Office signing ceremony, the proposed legislation will give judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders and will boost prisoner rehabilitation efforts In a rare instance of both Democratic and Republican lawmakers agreeing on a similar issue, all agreed that the signing was a hugely influential package and thanked the president for supporting the issue and uniting conservatives and liberals. While the reform legislation was considered a success, the House and Senate adjourned Friday night as negotiations continued between White House and congressional leaders over border wall funding. This guarantees a partial government shutdown at midnight when 25% of federal government funding is set to lapse.
Last week, Pete Davidson threatened suicide in an Instagram post that left the comic’s family, friends, and millions of fans deeply concerned. The situation was so dire that Davidson’s most recent ex, Ariana Grande, attempted to come to his aid. “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” Davidson wrote. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember I told you so,” Grande responded to the comment, indicating that she had rushed to 30 Rockefeller Plaza where SNL is shot in order to lend support to Davidson. However, it seems the singer didn’t get any further than the lobby, as security refused to allow her up to the studio. “I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything,” she tweeted. “I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.” Unfortunately, it appears that Davidson’s condition has not improved in the days since his desperate cry for help. In fact, insiders tell TMZ that the situation has only deteriorated . One source tells the site that Davidson believes “the whole world is against him.” “He believes even his friends and colleagues don’t care if he lives or dies,” TMZ reports. Insiders say Pete has reached out to the people in his life — but he’s also “lashed out.” He’s reportedly stated on several occasions that if he were to take his own life, his friends and colleagues “wouldn’t care.” Pete’s friends and family are reportedly doing everything they can for the comic, but they fear it’s not enough. Ariana Grande: I Wish It Was Christmas Today Earlier this week, Ariana Grande joined Jimmy Fallon and several former SNL cast members to recreate one of the show’s best-loved holiday sketches for The Tonight Show . Bizarrely, the sketch became a source of controversy, as many felt it was inappropriate for Ariana to take part, as SNL is such a huge part of Pete’s life. T here’s now independent confirmation that Georgia’s Governor-elect Brian Kemp fabricated a tale about a cybercrime while serving as secretary of state to help himself steal the gubernatorial election from Stacey Abrams . This comes on the heels of news that federal investigators did not indict Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum in its probe into city government corruption. His Republican rival for Florida governor exploited the FBI investigation to win votes by falsely suggesting that Gillum was a criminal. See Also: Brian Kemp’s Latest Move Shows His ‘Desperation,’ Stacey Abrams Says Kemp, who as secretary of state oversaw his own election, was in a virtual tie in the polls with Abrams when he claimed on Nov. 4–days before the election–that the state’s Democratic Party hacked into his office’s voter registration database . However, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Friday that it found no evidence to support that claim, concluding that, “It appears unlikely that any crime occurred.” In a race that Kemp won with 50.2 percent of the vote, the Journal-Constitution speculated that Kemp’s fable could have swung the election in his favor. While appearing Nov. 4 on CNN’s “State of the Union with Jake Tapper,” host Jake Tapper informed Abrams that Kemp opened an investigation of the Georgia Democratic Party. “This is a desperate attempt on the part of my opponent to distract people from the fact that two different federal judges found him derelict in his duty and forced him to allow absentee ballots to be counted,” she said after hearing about Kemp’s allegations for the first time. Kemp tried to use every trick in the book to suppress the Black vote for the 2018 election. Many, including former President Jimmy Carter , urged Kemp to recuse himself as secretary of state to ensure a fair election . But Kemp refused. In another closely watched election, Florida’s governor-elect Ron DeSantis painted Gillum, who would have become the state’s first Black governor, as a criminal. It was part of his racist campaign to win a close election. The cloud of corruption finally lifted from the mayor on Dec. 12 when an FBI report on its probe of Tallahassee officials confirmed Gillum’s denial of wrongdoing. Gillum’s name was not listed among those indicted by federal authorities in an investigation into whether businessmen were able to influence Tallahassee development projects. DeSantis poured millions of dollars into a smear campaign against Gillum. Republicans spent at least $7 million on TV ads to connect Gillum to the investigation. It paid off, with DeSantis winning a narrow victory. She found herself having to pay for school on her own, using student loans to help pay for tuition, rent, food and her other bills. Like many of us, Ford admitted that she never thought she would be able to pay off these loans down in her lifetime. “I could not foresee when I’d be able to pay it off,” Ford said of her debt. “I just knew this was going to be a part of my life as long as I was alive unless there was some significant change, which — wow.” According to WLS News , Fifth Third bank became aware of Ford, who is a customer, while they were working on a promotional video about student loan debt. Bank officials said they later “chose to pay off her student loans because she exemplified the impact that loans can have on a family trying to achieve.” Because of this huge act of kindness, Ford believes this will change her son’s life too, allowing her to be a more present mother. See, she worked two jobs almost every day of the week, something she can now give up. “I just imagine being able to spend more time physically with my family, not having to hustle, having mental freedom and with that, some spiritual freedom,” she told GMA. “I can open myself to more experiences, opportunities and just be able to sit and be with my thoughts and be able to pursue what it is I came to do.” “His life will be totally different,” she added. “I’m so happy and so proud that I’m able to offer that to him more than anything else because he deserves it.” Just amazing.
