Taylor Swift Birthday Tribute: A Trip Back in Time…

As you might have guessed from her upbeat music and bubbly personality, Taylor Swift is not one of those artists with a dark past and a closet full of skeletons. In fact, you couldn't make-up such an idyllic childhood: Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania (seriously). Her father was a successful banker, and her mother retired from mutual fund marketing in order to be a stay-at-home mom. Really, it's the kind of upbringing that could make you hate Taylor, if she weren't so darn lovable. Sure, there are those who have taken issue with the version of Taylor's past that's been presented to the press, claiming that all was not as perfect as the Swift family has claimed, but so far, no lies have been exposed. Frankly, we don't know what to believe. It seems almost impossible that any family could be this insanely happy, but looking at these pics from Taylor's childhood, it's difficult to imagine that she ever had a bad day:   1. Taylor and Austin Swift Taylor and her younger brother Austin. These days, he often accompanies her to A-list Hollywood events. 4. Taylor in Black and White Taylor says she got into country music at a young age. She cites Shania Twain as an early favorite. 5. Taylor Swift: Soccer Star Taylor played soccer growing up because of course she did. Here she is posing for her team photo in grade school. 6. Kim Kardashian: Cheating on Kanye West With Marquette King?!

Kim Kardashian is rumored to be cheating on Kanye West — who was recently on an eight-day psychiatric hold.  This pretty much sucks, right?  Hollywood Life reports that Kardashian and Marquette King, punter for the Oakland Raiders, were caught cozying up behind closed doors.  Recently, talk of a strained marriage have emerged around Kimye, and what triggered Kanye West’s breakdown  — a rumored combination of Kim Kardashian’s robbery and over work — is just another straw on the camel’s back.  Other outlets have picked up the story and reported that Kim’s seeking solace in the arms of the Raiders footballer.  Though it’d make sense that Kardashian would want a normal life again, erasing the robbery in Paris and pretending that Kanye’s hospitalization never happened, we find it hard to believe that Kim would step out on Kanye like this during his greatest time of need.  She’s not that “heartless,” you know.  A source purportedly close to Kardashian also revealed to the publication that Kanye just doesn’t need this kind of drama. “Having to hear rumors about Kim [Kardashian] cheating is the absolute last thing [he] needs right now.” “Kim’s been amazing, but their relationship has been under a lot of strain in the past year,” the source continued. “Having stuff like this thrown in his face is really hard on him. Kanye trusts Kim, but he also can’t help himself from getting a little jealous and insecure sometimes.”  We can imagine … especially when your wife is, sadly, one of the most desirable women on the planet.   Other peoples’ words, not ours.  Not that she’s not cute or whatever.  Never mind.  Open mouth, insert … foot.  The mole continued, “[Kanye] needs to focus on himself and what he can control, not crazy talk about his wife cheating.” “Kim and his people are trying to keep [him] off the grid as much as possible so he doesn’t get stressed out with stories like this.” HL’s source concluded : “Kim’s got two kids, a husband who needs her more than ever, is still dealing with the robbery aftermath, and has a business to tend to.” “She barely has time to have sex with her own husband, let alone step out on him with Marquette.” “The only place she’s creeping late at night is to the store to get dessert to avoid the paparazzi.”  TMZ recently reported that West, after securing a psych team in Los Angeles, went transcontinental and is seeking therapists in New York City, for when he’s on the east coast.  The website revealed that Kanye is looking to beef up his care team, which is on call and on watch almost “around the clock.”  View Slideshow: 9 Guys Who Got it in with Kim Kardashian Get well, soon, Kanye.  Honestly, there’s not even a single joke we can make here that wouldn’t be completely terrible or remotely acceptable.  Just get well, okay?

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 6 was all about pride, in the best possible way in the wake of a national tragedy from this spring. Watch Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 6 Online After terrorism struck the Florida gay community in the form of Omar Mateen , West Hollywood’s pride parade took on even more meaning. Her goal was bringing the community together; Tom and Ariana, meanwhile, struggled to stay together after the worst fight of their relationship. Elsewhere, Stassi planned a birthday trip to Montauk and James began to doubt his friendship with Lala for reasons that aren’t shocking. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online , well, let’s just say that Lala, for all her positive attributes, can play fast and loose with the truth. More than anything, though, this week was about pride. Lisa Vanderpump rode on a float during Pride Day, feeling that it was necessary to bring the community together after such a tragedy. The staff, however, didn’t have quite as much courage. Upon hearing the news of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando , Katie Maloney opted out of working at SUR on this special occasion. That isn’t to say the events didn’t impact her greatly. On the contrary. She met with Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz and Stassi Schroeder at her apartment, where they discussed the terrorism. There were a lot of tears and raw emotions. Tom Sandoval seemed to be the most shaken up, but following their discussion and impromptu group therapy session, he went to work. If you don’t do that, then they win, right? Unfortunately for Tom, this wasn’t the only mental battle he fought this week, as his jealousy over Ariana‘s new bartending book was palpable. This caused one the most surprising – and biggest – fights we’ve ever seen from a couple we love and who is by all accounts so stable. Keke Palmer is known for being open and honest about literally everything. She really is just a gift that way. She never holds back, she’s always a delight, and honestly, we’re just so glad that the world worked out in a way that we get to experience her wondrousness firsthand. For her latest act of greatness, Keke took it upon herself to defend none other than Kylie Jenner. See, our girl got a little upset after seeing this meme of Kylie that had been making the rounds: The meme shows Kylie back in 2012, when she was just 15 years old, before all the changes she’s made to her looks. Back then, according to the photo, people used to say “Kylie’s so ugly! Why can’t she just grow up?” It shows that photo beside a current photo of Kylie, one that showcases all her (alleged!) surgical enhancements . But the new Kylie apparently has people saying “Ew, Kylie’s so fake! What happened to her?” Yes, it seems like poor Kylie, in the eyes of many, has always been in a sort of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation when it comes to her appearance . That’s awful. And Keke simply will not stand for it. She shared the meme, and along with it, she shared this lengthy but heartfelt message: After Trump’s win, I really was convinced that we have become so obsessed with making things appear to be real than needing them to actually BE real. AKA: Reality [television emoji] , that’s the gag. Reality television is based off of the desire WE HAVE to see non scripted shows that MIMIC reality, “false things appearing real” that’s the ART of it, how they can make us THINK it is. And many social media platforms support that same thing. We have settled for knock off truth in our actual reality because it’s socially acceptable to lie for likes. Looking at this photo above I couldn’t help but stop dead in my tracks because even though I do feel like this family sets an example that it’s good to change for societies affection, how can you blame them? We don’t think that this young woman deserves the attention she receives because of the message it sends but we don’t even think about the fact that for years the whole world damn near agreed that she was ugly. A CHILD, that girl was a child and she was bullied and named ugly, and not as a character but as HERSELF … And unlike some that experience such ridicule she had the $$$ to change, she “fixed” what the world said was broken and it worked! Now you are mad that it was that easy? When the generation has already been force fed to love things that are false and appear as real. We are confused!  So many of us on who we should be and how we should act, who we should like and how we should pursue them. It’s all been brought to another level because being fraudulent is our countries most popular trend. If only we could accept one another instead of bullying each other into change. We wouldn’t be so confused or misunderstanding all of these mixed messages that ultimately tell us to trade attention for respect and love for possession. The 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Sucked With Non Models

I have no clue what the hell Victoria’s Secret is doing. Used to be, their annual fashion show was a huge deal. But they just held the 2016 version in Paris last night, and for some reason, they decided to stock the runway with rich kid/fake models like Bella and Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner . And if you want to see why that’s totally nuts, just look at this shot of Gigi posing with real model Adriana Lima . One of these things is not like the others… Anyway, point is, with all that fake filler, the show was barely worth posting this year. In fact, in my professional recommendation, you’re probably better off just checking out the previous years’ shows instead ( here , here , here and here ). 2016 sucked for just about everyone whose name doesn’t start with “B” and end with “-eyonce.” We’d say it was a pretty good year for Donald Trump, too, but let’s face it:  The man never wanted to be president, and now he has to eat dinner with Mitt Romney without making a single comment about the waitress’ ass for fear of offending Mitt’s Mormon sensibilites. Looks like we’ve veered slightly off topic. Let’s get back to Bey. While for the rest of us, 2016 was the year of Oh God, why is this happening?! for Beyonce it was the year of Lemonade . Bey’s confessional “visual album” turned actual album turned wildly lucrative tour brought in huge bucks and introduced us all to Becky With the Good Hair .  In case you somehow missed it, Bey strongly hinted that Jay Z cheated on her throughout the album, and we imagine things were a little awkward around the Carter household in the days after its release. In the week’s after  Lemonade  became an overnight sensation, fans often joked that Jay was probably cool with being publicly called out due to the amount of money his incredibly successful wife brings in. There may be some truth to that, but the fact remains that Jay still does very, very well in his own right. In fact, the hip hop legend earned almost as much as Bey this year, despite not touring or releasing an album. According to Forbes  magazine’s list of the year’s highest-ranking musicians, the Carters (once again the only husband-and-wife team to make the list) are worth something in the neighborhood of $1 billion. One would assume that Bey would easily out-earn her husband given how dormant he’s been on the music scene, but Jay still rakes in royalties from 20 years worth of classic jams. On top of that, this year saw him pulling in huge bucks from his investments in D’Usse cognac and Ace of Spades champagne.
