With Kim Kardashian having filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, numerous theories are flying around for why this marriage couldn’t last longer than 73 days. The most prominent being: D’uh! They were never really in love! They pocketed millions of dollars and made fools out of millions of fans. it’s difficult to dispute this notion. Other sources claim the couple’s living arrangements were an issue, as Kris wanted to settle down in Minnesota, but Kim clamored for life in Los Angeles. It seems hard to believe this topic would actually lead to divorce at this point in the pair’s lives, however, considering Kris will be flying around half the year anyway for his job in the NBA, while Kardashian spends every other weekend traveling to a different location for… whatever the heck she does for a living. So… what went wrong?!? Hilariously, an insider tells TMZ the main point of contention rested in the fact that Humphries grew too fame-obsessed during the relationship. We also think their joint obsessions with fame would cancel out any significant lifestyle differences. The divorce papers are in , but Kris Humphries refuses to believe it. In his first official statement since Kim Kardashian legally asked the court to dissolve their marriage, due to “irreconcilable differences,” the former New Jersey Nets forward doesn’t sound willing to accept his relationship’s fate. “I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents,” Humphries said in a statement. “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce… I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.” Where did it all go wrong for Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian?!? It sounds very much like it’s too late, however. Kim issued a statement of her own today, saying the decision was not easy, but the marriage is very much over. Patrice O’Neal, a famous comedian who recently performed on Comedy Central’s Charlie Sheen Roast , has suffered a massive stroke. The announcement was made this morning by fellow comic Jim Norton on the Opie and Anthony Show. “We don’t know how he is. We don’t know how he’s going to be,” said Norton. “I didn’t want to do this by myself. I wish we had more news for you.” A statement was also posted on the show’s Facebook page. The latest reports from Life & Style magazine detail some serious warning signs that their marriage is headed toward Divorceville: Just two months into their marriage, sources close to newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries reveal to Life & Style that the couple may already be headed for a split. Kim and Kris, who have known each other for less than a year, are living completely separate lives. While Kim was heading back from a six-day work trip in the United Arab Emirates, Kris was out partying at three different NYC hot spots including Lavo and Avenue. Even more shocking, after leaving Avenue, he barreled into 1Oak in the early-morning hours hand in hand with a mystery blonde (whom an insider says is a friend of Kris’ sister, Kaela). And instead of greeting his wife at the airport with a bouquet of flowers, Kris instead went to lunch with pals at NYC lounge PS 450. Meanwhile, Kim is not making many sacrifices for married life, either. Since returning from the couple’s quickie honeymoon, the reality star has been working nonstop.
