The former is a mess, telling her mentor that she never meant for anyone to get killed and President Snow has to know that and stop worrying about a rebellion in the districts and, please, just help her get through this! “This trip? My name is Søs, and I’m a 14 year old belieber from Sweden . I never ever thought that I’d be sitting here, writing my own Bieber experience. What I experienced with Justin is what I used to dream about every night and what people used to tease me about, saying it would never ever happen. On Monday, the 29 of July it did happen and it was the best day of my entire life. On 22 of July, my family and I got on the plane for a 3 week vacation in the USA . Long before I went, me and my friends started imagining like *what if you sit on a restaurant, here a familiar voice, turn around and see Justin sitting there* Even if I knew that it wouldn’t happen, I got happy just by the thought. First, we were going to spend 1 week in New york. After that week we would take a flight to California and stay there for like 9 days, and then fly back to New york before heading back to Sweden. After spending a few days in New York, my dad told me that Justin was going to have a concert like down the street from our rented apartment in Brooklyn. I got super happy, and figured that I could maybe try to meet him, or catch a glimpse of him. Then my dad told me that the concert would take place while we were in California. It was really bad news and I got so upset, but I couldn’t do anything about it. Then the day before we were leaving for California, me and my family took the subway into Manhattan to go to some museums, walk around, etc. We started getting hungry, so we sat down at this little cute restaurant in Soho. When we were done, I really needed to go to the toilet, and so did my brother. We stood in line, while my parents went ahead. After like 5 minutes, my mother came running across the street, yelling my name. She took my hand and told me to hurry, so we ran across the street and I asked her what was going on? She pointed at the store we stood right in front of and said, “Justin is in there!” I really didn’t understand anything. I was like, “JUSTIN?! JUSTIN BIEBER?! MY JUSTIN? WHAT?” I started jumping and shaking while people started to wonder what was going on. There was no other beliebers there and my parents told me to calm down, so that no one would come running. I had calmed down a little, looked through the window and saw Justin wearing his red snapback. In that moment I felt like my heart was going to stop, he was so close to me. I saw the guards outside the store, and they told people that the store was closed. Then one of them looked at me, and gave me the thumbs up for staying calm. Suddenly the door opened and Justin came out. I really had a problem with “staying calm”, considering this was so unbelievable, that my idol and biggest inspiration was now only a few meters away from me. The security guard that had gave me thumbs up, lead Justin towards me, and when he saw me, he smiled, waved. Justin said, “Hey lady!” I couldn’t believe this, he was so perfect, so smiley, so handsome. I tried to figure out something smart to say, but all that came out was something like, “I’m a huge fan!” He answered, “Aww, I’m a fan of you too!” I asked if I could get a photo but he was kind of in a hurry, so he said, “No photo baby, but you can get a hug.” We quickly hugged, and it was the best hug in my entire life! It was totally perfect and I just wanted to freeze that moment forever. We smiled to each other, and then he ran over to his car. After that, I just went crazy. I screamed, cried and laughed at the same time. I was so indescribably happy! While I was going crazy, I called my best friend from home in Sweden. While walking the streets of New York, I totally blacked out. I gladly told everyone about how I just met my idol, I showed them the pictures that my dad had snapped while all of this happened, and they told me that this was really a one in a million opportunity. Yes, it really really was! I’m so super lucky to have met him. To Justin, I wanna say thank you for making my dream come true! Realest ninja alive ! Man Survives After Falling Off A Cliff While Fighting A Bear Via TIME reports: In the battle of man vs. bear, man has triumphed–well, sort of. The Guardian reports that Yusuf Alchagirov, an 80-year-old Russian shepherd, was minding his own business in a raspberry field when he was attacked by a large, hungry bear. Rather than let the predator get the best of him, Alchagirov counter-attacked. Despite his age, the octogenarian managed to knock the bear off-balance with a flurry of kicks and headbutts. Unfortunately, this beating failed to phase the furry attacker and the bear responded by knocking the shepherd off a nearby cliff. According to the Guardian, Alchagirov was hospitalised with “bruises, bite wounds and four broken ribs,” but avoided a potentially lethal mauling. Alchagirov may have survived his encounter, but experts generally advise against fighting back during a bear attack. If you are approached aggressively by a brown bear — a common species of bear in the region — Mother Nature Network suggests playing dead as the bear is ”likely trying to neutralize you as a threat.” However, Alchagirov is positive that it’s his aggressiveness that saved his life. ”I got off easy. Finally, a resolution . Senate Passes Bill To End Government Shutdown Our government has to do better. According to The Chicago Tribune Budget By an overwhelming vote, the Senate passed a budget compromise Wednesday night that would reopen federal agencies and allow the Treasury to continue borrowing to pay the nation’s bills, averting the possibility of a default. Federal agencies could begin reopening in the morning, although full operation in some cases could take longer. The vote, 81-19, approved an agreement negotiated by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). It ends a political standoff that shut down federal programs for 16 days and led to the furlough of hundreds of thousands of federal workers. The deal makes no significant changes in President Obama’s healthcare law, which Republicans had previously demanded. President Obama said after the vote that he will sign the bill immediately once it reaches his desk. “We can begin to lift this cloud of uncertainty and unease from our businesses and from the American people,” he said. Obama said he hoped lawmakers would take the opportunity to craft a “sensible budget.” “Hopefully next time it won’t be in the 11th hour,” he said. “We’ve got to get out of the habit of governing by crisis.” Took them long enough! With the government’s borrowing authority set to run out on Thursday, House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner said he would allow the deeply divided House to vote on the Senate plan for a short-term increase in the debt limit and a government reopening. It is expected to pass with mostly Democratic votes. The agreement would extend U.S. borrowing authority until Feb. 7, although the Treasury Department would have tools to temporarily extend its borrowing capacity beyond that date if Congress failed to act early next year. The agreement also would fund government agencies until Jan. 15, ending a partial government shutdown that began with the new fiscal year on Oct. 1. The deal represents a bruising political defeat for Republican conservatives who had demanded changes to President Barack Obama’s healthcare law before they would agree to fund the government. Several House Republicans said Boehner’s leadership position would not be at risk in the fallout. The speaker earned a standing ovation at an afternoon meeting of House Republicans, and Republican Representative John Fleming of Louisiana, a Tea Party activist, said Boehner’s stock had risen because he “hung in there with us.” “Our drive to stop the train wreck that is the president’s healthcare law will continue,” Boehner said in a statement, adding the House had fought Obama “with everything it has” and he would not block the bipartisan Senate agreement.
