A small adjustment in your sleep schedule can cause problems and becoming a total night owl can really have some serious consequences. It affects your social life You start to see friends less, because you simply aren’t on their schedule. They’re having happy hour drinks at 5pm, but you just started work at noon, so you’ll be working until 8pm or 9pm. You also can’t join them for a morning workout class because you’ll still be asleep. But missing out on friendship can lead to depression—we are social creatures after all. 2. Your days feel shorter Though you may be awake for the same amount of time, you aren’t experiencing as many daylight hours. The day naturally feels shorter. You feel rushed. You feel like the day is ending when it barely just began, since the sun is dropping, and you’ve only been up for a few hours. This feeling that the day goes by too fast increases the feeling that life goes by too fast, which can also trigger depression. 3. Less sunlight can lead to other issues The mere fact that you aren’t up with most of the sun means you aren’t getting vitamin D, one nutrient many people are low on , and one that you need for many important functions. 4. You eat at odd times/alone You start to eat at odd times. Breakfast is at 11am. Lunch is at 5pm. So, when everyone else is having meals, you’re in the middle of work. You wind up having to eat a lot of meals alone, which can feel very sad. 5. You spend less time with your partner You spend less time with your romantic partner because he’s on a regular sleep schedule. So, when he wants to have dinner together, you’re in the middle of your workday. You never go to sleep or wake up together, either. You share a bed, but you barely spend time together in bed. 6. You make poor food decisions In addition to eating alone because of your new eating schedule, you also eat less healthfully. It’s funny how being awake late at night, when nobody else is, has a way of convincing us that half a pizza at 1am doesn’t count. But it does. 7. You may get headaches Adjusting your sleep schedule can lead to headaches. Oversleeping or being low on sleep causes the blood vessels in your brain to expand and contract in a way that can lead to headaches and can even trigger migraines. Read more at MadameNoire.com . As previously reported NeNe Leakes is BIG mad at her after something went down during the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion. TMZ caught up with Sherri in West Hollywood last night and asked her take on the college entrance cheating scandal that has captured America’s attention, here’s what she said… Facts are facts. Smh.
Source: ATU Images / Getty Government Withholds 84-Year-Old Woman’s Social Security 84-year-old Mamie Walker depends on her monthly social security check of $1,498 to survive. But for the past two months, the government has sent Mamie nothing but a letter claiming she owes them $224,414.50 in unpaid college debt–but Mamie never even attended college! A letter from the Treasury Department claims she has been referred to them for “collection action.” The letter explains up to 15 percent of each of her checks will be withheld to pay the debt, which was shocking enough, but absolutely no check came at all in February or March. Walker then received another letter stating that she won’t receive another check until September of 2031. “I’ll probably be dead by then,” the 84-year-old said. “I’m so scared. I don’t sleep at night because I’m so scared next week … my lights are going to be off.” Mamie explains that beside not ever going to college, she never learned to read or write at all because she had to go to work as a child to help support her family as a “field hand.” Her son, Morrison Walker, stepped in to help his mother and says she hasn’t been able to pay rent or utilities and is at risk for losing her home. “I work and I try my best to help her with her bills, but now this done happened and I have my own bills, and she don’t have no income and now they’re trying to put eviction on her house, her water bill skyrocketed, her lights are going to get cut off,” Morrison said. He says that he has tried calling social security about the incident multiple times and listened to “hold music” for hours, only to have no one pick up. He went to a local Social Security office and was told by an employee that it sounds like fraud, but no one offered them any help. Now that her story is out for the world to hear, hopefully Mamie Walker will finally get the help she deserves from her social security checks once again

The “Jeopardy” host took to social media to tell the world that he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. “Just like 50,000 other people in the United States each year, this week, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer,” said Trebek, 78. “Now, normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working, ” he added. “And with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rates statistics for this disease.” He also humorously added that he HAS to beat the disease because he’s got another 3 years in his Jeopardy contract.
