The 72-year old celebrated 50 years of marriage to wife Marie last week by carving out 17 acres of his Ohio farm to resemble the couple’s 1963 wedding photo. “He did it with the kids. They kept it a secret. I thought they were nuts, but it’s actually turned out very well,” Marie told Good Morning America today, vastly under-selling the impressive achievement pictured above. They carved out John Glenn last year and the Twin Towers in 2010 out of respect for the 10-year anniversary of 9/11. They’ve also used the farm to pay tribute to their favorite sports team, the Steelers and the Browns. But this one may be the ultimate accomplishment for Paul. “They put it together very nicely, with the church where we were married at the top, and our wedding picture of the two of us in the middle and the old tractor at the bottom,” Marie says. From a sexist gorilla to a horny baboon… Earlier this week, a Fox reporter in Sacramento named Sabrina Rodriguez was trying to do a live report about a local grape festival… when a baboon couldn’t help but cop a feel of the young woman. Rodriguez acknowledged the breast grab and gamely finished her segment, but replays showed just how close this animal actually got to the journalist. Jessa Duggar, the 20-year-old daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is currently in a courtship with 18-year-old Ben Seewald, according to reports. The lovebirds, who met in church, are “enjoying getting to know each other and are recommending sermons to one another,” Jim Bob tells People . He and his wife are “so excited” for Jessa and Ben. As for the difference between courting and dating? Jim Bob explains that courting is much more formal process, which often takes place in a larger group, whereas dating is more of a one-on-one thing: “Courting is getting to know each other in a group setting, both families spending time together and the couple setting goals together to determine if they are meant to marry.” And then there’s the rub you might have expected: “With dating, a couple will often pair off alone and that sometimes leads to a more physical relationship.” Mother Michelle Duggar also adds that courting is a serious process, where a couple puts deep considering into the notion of starting a family together: “Courtship is not just about having fun. You are really considering if this person could be your life partner … you pray about it and see what happens.” After the couple initial met, they asked their parents for permission to correspond via text and on the phone, and while the Duggars agreed, the pair has little privacy. Jim Bob and Michelle are a part of the duo’s texting conversation. “Jessa has a very steady personality,” Michelle says of her third daughter. “It has been interesting to watch their interactions because for her personality type.” “They share very similar beliefs. Stone Martin, a 14-year old hopeful who auditioned for The X Factor last night, made the most of his time on stage by covering the One Direction hit “Little Things.” The ballad was especially adored by Simon Cowell, who put together the beloved boy group in England and who responded to Martin’s rendition with three words: “Wow, wow, wow.” Demi Lovato was also a fan of the “powerful” connection” Martin made with the audience, adding: I think that you’re so cute. Talk about an engaging episode of Top Chef Masters! Both competition and love was in the air, as Lindsay Price surprised fiancee Curtis Stone with an engagement party, one for which the remaining contestants had to cook. We’ll allow the mixing of business with pleasure in this entertaining case. Based around the installment’s Elimination Challenge, the chefs were split into three teams and had to plan a menu around Curtis and Lindsay’s tastes, which mostly revolved around chocolate and Korean barbecue. In the end, Red Team members Sue, Douglas and David were all named winners for their impressive creations: Umami Broth, Crab Beignet and Cheesecake Pop. But whose dessert was not dripping with chocolate and who therefore got sent packing? You guys know I love Amy Childs , since I bring it up pretty much every time I do a post on her. But I’m a little worried by these pictures because I think Amy may have forgotten the proper way for a celebrity hottie to get into a car. See, it was a textbook cleavage show leaving the restaurant, but then Amy forgot to push her hair back before she went in headfirst. It’s a classic rookie mistake. Let’s just hope it doesn’t happen again.
